After a couple hours, it was already nightfall. Let just check in with Meteora huh?

The princess of Mewni and her fellow prisoner have just gone over some mental training for Azrael, as opposed to the physical training that she had just sucked at big time. He kept staring at his arms, "Nope, still all scaly." he sighed, "Guess I'm just doomed to be a monster like my father." he lamented.

"Azzy, you're not a monster." Meteora told him as she rests a hand on his shoulder, "Deep down you're a kind person, I know this. Trust me, I've been where you have when I first found out I was half monster."

"Really, what did you do when you found out?" Azrael asked.

"From what my mom and cousin Star said I stole a bunch of souls and destroyed half of Mewni and tried to reclaim my throne from the Magical High Commission for my family." she stated, Azrael leered back with a semi shocked look on his face.

"Damn and I thought I had terrible twos." He said

"Well keep in mind, I was separated from my mother at birth, had my throne taken away from me, and a whole bunch of other stuff that happened I can't fully remember." she stood up and sniffed her armpit, "Oh boy, that stinks. Do you know where I can get a bath around here, cause I didn't see one in the house."

"Oh yeah, there's a place for that somewhere in the fog." he kipped up and intertwined his hand in hers, he then walked her into the fog. "My mom always took me here to wash up after training, I memorized the path by heart. Just stick with me, wouldn't want that pretty face of yours getting lost on my watch."

She then asked, "I thought you said the fog is what keeps us here, how can you see?"

"I've gotten a lot of practice. You recognize where things actually are after years of jogging around and hunting for your own food."

'So that's what those dead carcasses are.' she thought to himself as she followed his directions.

(meanwhile)

Star and Mariposa were flying near the Village of Mewmans.

"Woah, what is this place?" The young Diaz asked as she looked around the village.

"After my Mom and Dad left Eclipsa, long story, they moved out into the forest to figure out what to do, but soon a bunch of other Monster disliking mewmans came and made this place." Star explained.

"So how do you know that this Manfred is here?" Mariposa asked as they flew over the edge of the village.

"He called this place an oasis, so he has to be here."

"But he could be anywhere, there are so many- Oh wait there he is." Star looked over to where Mari pointed and saw him just chatting with people. "Okay so how do you want to…"

"MANFRED!" Star yelled as she jumped of cloudly, the ex-servent looked and saw an angered princess. Manfred freaked and tried to run but Star landed on him stomping his face into the dirt, he then pulled him up and held him by his collar.

"Okay you treacherous bastard, you better tell me where she is right now!" Star demanded.

"Okay okay, she in my yurt, but it was consensual I swear!" Manfred cowered in terror.

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh what?" Star asked with a look of confusion, Manfred then looked up and saw a face he hasn't seen in a long time.

"Oh Star Butterfly, I thought you were my girlfriend's mother." He sigh in relief.

"What no, I'm looking for Mina!" Star exclaimed as she dropped him on his bum.

"Oof, why you would want that freakshow?" He asked.

"Because that freakshow tried to kill a lot of innocent monsters, has my family hostage and is possibly going to kill them!" She said, "And you were the last person that was seen with her, so where is she?"

Manfred stood up and looked away with a far away look, "I'm sorry, but I don't associate with her anymore. We parted ways years ago, I only followed her for safety and hunting."

"When was the last time you saw her?" Mariposa asked

"It was about 4 of years ago when I found out she was cheating on me with a monster." He answered. He then scoffed under his breath, "Hypocritical bitch."

"A monster?" the girls were confused.

"But she hates monsters, why would she date one?" Mariposa questioned.

"We'll discuss that later, where's Meteora?!" Star demanded.

"Check the old castle grounds, that's where we've been living before she kicked me out." He said, pointing west.

"No way, Mina is way too smart for that to hide her hostage in a place like that. There's obviously some kind of trap waiting there for us." Star stated.

"Can't hurt to try, because I doubt we're gonna get anything else out of him." Mariposa shrugged.

"Okay, but if things go south, you get out of there and fast as you can got it, no ifs and/or buts." Star told the small human boy-turned-girl.

"Yes Ma'am." Mariposa said the two then hopped on cloudy and flew off, as they did Manfred went back to his cabin and found a vulture with a scar right across its face in a cage brandishing their sharp talons.

"Go tell Mina, they are on their way to her." He said as he released the bird as it scoffed flew off in a different direction from Star and Mariposa.

"What do you think he meant by, Mina cheating on him with a monster?" Mariposa asked Star.

"Beats me, I'm just as lost as you are. Why would Mina of all people fraternize with the thing she was trained for thousands of years to hate and despise? It just doesn't make sense." Star replied.

"Maybe she's changed since you last knew her."

"Not really, once a deranged lunatic there's no going back."
