29: Introductions

Peter sat back on the seat.

"AHHHHHGGG!" He covered his face with his hands, "She is soooo mad at me."

"I thought you ran away to make them pissed off," Wade took out his gun.

"Not Nat," Peter leaned back on his seat, "She's the only one who scares the living crap outta me, and she's the only one who doesn't absolutely hates you."

"Captain and Iron Man don't hate me," Wade looked as he pulled out his magazine and counted his bullets. Peter moved over next to Wade.

"They don't even know you exist," He glanced over at his boyfriend. Wade shrugged.

"Just let it go," Wade slammed his magazine back into his gun, "Forget about your mother cousin lady, and focus on how much fun we're going to have kicking these mutant asses with these kids," He gestured out wide to 5 teenagers in the jet. They were intimidated by the two named super powered people in front of them, so they cowered at Wade's movements. Wade noticed this. He looked at Peter, his legs crossed, and his arms so they hugged closely to his body. Suddenly he jumped up and spread his body out.

"BOO!" The kids lurched back against the side of the jet. He laughed loudly. Peter rolled his eyes.

"This is their first mission. Leave them alone," Peter sighed, and slumped back. He turned away from Wade. Wade watched him shake his head.

"He's upset. Be a good boyfriend and comfort him,"

Wade grabbed Peter's shoulder and pulled him close to his chest. Peter whined out of embarrassment.

"Leave me alone," Peter tried to escape his grasp. Wade wouldn't let him. He wrapped his arms around him even tighter.

"No. I'm the only one who can wallow in angst," Wade snuggled his chin in the crook of Peter's neck. Peter tried his hardest to not laugh, but Wade's chin insisted that he let out some laughter. Peter laughed and shook in Wade's arms.

"Wade- stop," he whispered, "They're watching,"

"We're not doing anything naughty. And look; the girls seem to like it," Peter glanced over at the kids across from them. He hadn't noticed 4 of them were girls, all of them younger than him. They all were blushing, and covering their faces. That made Peter feel even more embarrassed. But Wade holding him made him feel better about Natasha. He took in a deep breath and settled into Wade. Wade was slightly surprised at Peter's newfound comfortableness with him, and he figured he never would be, but Peter was always a surprise.

"We'd rather be the little spoon,".

"But this is still nice,".

"What are you two doing? Kid, get off of him, you'll catch his stupid," Logan had put the plane on auto pilot and came back to the group. He turned to look at the group of teenagers. He cleared his throat.

"Alright. Listen up. This is Deadpool. I know you've all heard about him around the campus, The dumb ass who came a few years back saying he was my long lost brother," Deadpool perked up.

"I am though. I have your healing factor, got it straight from you. That makes me your brother," He defended, "Or would that make you my father?!" He clasped at his cheeks.

"Wade," Logan growled.

"Yes, daddy?" Wade smirked.

"I didn't say anything," Peter spoke up with a smirk. Wade looked at him.

"Nice,"

"Nice,"

"Nice," Wade nodded. One of the girls grabbed her heart and wheezed. Logan shook his head.

"And this is New York's own Spider-Man. He's been hanging out with Deadpool and is trying to rehabilitate him. But the kid's only becoming a delinquent" Logan gestured his head towards Peter.

"I'm not a delinquent," he defended.

"HE'S A MENACE TO SOCIETY!" Wade jumped and shouted.

"Thanks, James," Peter groaned, reminded of the crankiest journalist ever.

"Dude, can we role play that one day?" Wade smiled widely.

"Oh hell no!" Peter nearly hurled at the thought, "That would be so weird," Logan sighed loudly.

"Are you two done?" He hovered over them. They nodded. "Great,".

He walked over to the last teen sitting in the row. He put his hand over their head. "Shit head one. Name, then power." The teen looked up at him. She didn't say anything. Logan looked at her. "Name. Then power. Go." He spoke a little bit gruffer.

"Ah," She started out quiet, "My real name or my X-men name?" She asked timidly.

"Doesn't matter." Logan placed his hand directly on her head. Peter smiled.

"Don't worry. Just relax. We're here to help you," He reassured her. She returned a half hearted smile.

"They call me... Spark Breather. I breathe out gas, and my fingers are like flint," she held up her thumb and index finger, "and steel. When I breathe out, and snap my fingers I can shoot fire out. Just for as long as I can breath out air though," she finished.

"Spark breather?" Wade spoke up, "Why not the dragon? FireStarter? Whoever came up with your name kinda sucks." The girl hid her face.

"I... came up with it," She whispered sheepishly.

"Try harder next time," Wade scolded.

"Stop it," Peter pushed his head in Wade's chest, "It's a good name." He smiled again, excusing his boyfriend's rude comment. Logan moved on.

"Name and Power,".

"Polet," She started, "I don't have a real X-men name yet... but I'm mental," She pointed to her head and spun her hand around.

"Same tho," Wade added.

"Like Professor Xavier?" Peter tilted his head. The girl nodded.

"But not as powerful, obviously," she rubbed her arm nervously, "But powerful enough to have him want me to be an X-men I guess," She wanted to continue but Logan moved his hand over the next girls head.

"Oh, Me?" The girl looked up at him, "Well, I guess you can call me Munchkin; everyone else does," They didn't notice before, but this girl was much shorter than everyone else. "I can change my size at will,".

"Simply adorable," Deadpool reached over and pinched her cheek.

"Don't touch me," She growled. He pulled away, clearly cowering away.

"Yeah, not the friendliest girl," Logan moved on.

"I'm Tuesday," the final girl stated.

"I'm Wednesday," the only boy spoke, "We're twins with matching powers,".

"Either of us and make you believe you are moving through time," the girl spoke again, "But if we hold hands,".

"We can trap you in time, forever," The boy finished. Wade shivered.

"You two are some creepy ass twins,".

"Shut the hell up Wade. You don't have to comment on every power and every kid," Logan wanted to beat the shit out of him, but secretly agreed.

"The mission is beating and capturing some of Magnetos men on an island," Logan cracked his neck as he spoke, "we got some intel that they're just some goons, so the kids are coming with us. No other people, no property damage, no other heroes getting in our way," Logan turned his attention to the kids.

"This isn't training with dummies, these are real people who really want to hurt you. They will kill you if you have the chance," he warned. Peter looked at the kids. All of them had scared faces. "They won't care that you're kids. Some of them are kids themselves, so you have luck there," Peter wanted to comfort them, but Logan wasn't lying. He wasn't much older than them when he started working as Spider-Man. No one cares. They just want you out of their way or worst: dead. "But you won't die on that island. I promise,". Peter bit his lip. That's a big promise. "You've been training for this. You know what to do in a fight. You've been chosen for this because the Professor thinks you're ready. And you wouldn't be here if I didn't think you were. You've proven to us that you are mature enough to be X-Men, and are willing to do anything to help," Logan let out a slight smile, "Don't worry. You've got this,". And with that he left to fly the plane again.

Polet shook in fear. Sparky nudged her shoulder.

"Don't worry, like he said: we've got this,".

"Yeah, you're right," Wednesday chimed in, "we've trained for hours, talking about our first mission,".

"Saying that we would kick their asses!" Munchkin pumped her fist.

"It's going to a breeze with these guys' help," Tuesday gestured to Peter and Wade.

"That's right, Polet," Wade perked up. Peter looked at him, "I'm a Mercenary that literally can not die, and Spidey here is an actual hero. Even if you guys screw up, we're here to help!" he gave the worried girl a thumbs up. Peters face couldn't stop smiling at his sweet boyfriend. Polets body released its tension.

"Y-you're right. We'll be fine," she breathed out.

"Okay, shitheads, buckle up. We're 5 minutes out," Logan yelled back.
