Operation Silverfoxes
Chapter 27th
Billy and Barbara were gogging side by side on the street that had very little lighting. Thank goodness they were able to have their own lights around their hips to see. He decided to switch to another side street that had the lighting at maximum effect. Barbara was feeling concerned as to why he had changed the street.
However she really didn't care at this particular moment. When all of a sudden a speeding car came after them to have Billy knock his wife out of the way to pull his gun out from his fanny pack to fire at the tires to have the blue SUV crash into a light fixture causing a fire underneath the front end.
Billy tried to pull out the driver. However he was trapped under the wheel. He would try further when the flames wee getting worse. Barbara using her cell-phone to call for 911, police and an ambulance.
Her husband had moved back when the flames erupted further to burn the victim inside and as Billy and Barbara watched in horror while the fire trucks arrived along with the Metro police for which Billy had known with Lt. Beacons of the night watch to investigate on what had happened with the crash.
"Jesus Billy what the hell happened tonight?" Lt. John Beacons had to asked with a burnt up dead male body.
"I really don't know John. My wife and I decided to go jogging tonight and I changed to a different street with more lighting. When all of a sudden this blus SUV came after us while I pushed Barbara out of the way. While I used my weapon to shoot out the tires with the car hitting the light fixture and a fired started. I tried helping him out with being trapped under the steering wheel. It was when the flames had gotten much worse and I wasn't able to do anything further to save the man."
"That's too bad Billy. Maybe the Coroner will be able to come up with something even though his body was burnt badly. There could be anything that might of caused him to come after you. I know this is none of my business Billy, however are you working on anything sensitive at the moment?"
"Yes. Now that you reminded me we are with nuclear sites involved. I can't say anymore John or else you will be in trouble."
It was at this particular time that the Chief of the fire department #12 Edwards James came over with a wallet in a evidence bag to be given to Lt. Beacons. "Lt. I checked his I.D. to be C.I.A. agent Rojaz Sanchez rogue. He lives at the Washington, D.C, embassy and no doubt had taken the wrong street to get to his location. I understand the Coroner will do an autopsy to find out why he actually died." Chief Edwards James wll announced with Billy shaking his head.
"It just doesn't make any sense to have the agent heading for the embassy to come after me. I don't know why he would unless he was involved with Operation Silverfoxes?" Billy will say to his friend softly talking with only him to hear.
"Maybe he is Billy without any other agencies having Intel on him. Maybe IFF where you work will be able to come up with an answer?"
"No doubt. Please have the coroner call me at this number for when I get into the office later. He will probably have some answers as to what exactly killed him." Billy replied with watching out for his wife being taken care by the ambulance technician with a bruised knee and a cut on her left arm.

Metro Coroner's office
Doctor Cyril Mendez a coroner for the past 16 years for the Metro Washington, D.C. He had the body of Agent Rojas Sanchez. He had his assistant Janice Raid to do the following tests with a MRI, CAT SCAN and blood work.
He needed some of the answers with the agent having a bullet wound to his chest already shot before he landed on the wrong street to almost hit Melrose and his wife Barbara. He was shaking his head that the C.I.A. agent was able to steer his vehicle before passing out to die and hitting a light fixture.
Otherwise there were other issues as well that will no doubt come out with the tests and prove to be an interesting case.
He had placed his smock, gloves, cap and face mask on with the instruments waiting on the tray to begin the autopsy. While Janice came in with the giving the films to be developed by the lab down the street with a courier.
"We will know the results within a few hours. As for the blood cultures we should know sooner on whether there were any oddities in his bloodstream.
As he opened him up with the special equipment. He started with removing the rib cage and placing it into the silver container to weight the rib cage and other organs having to be a messy job. Doctor Mendez was talking into the voice recorder up above to give a full detail of his findings.
Sometime later the blood cultures came back with a phone call as Janice answered it with a comment." No kidding!" She will say over the phone.
"What's going on Janice with the blood cultures?" He will asked with his curiosity in placed.
"Agent Rojas Sanchez was poisoned it would seem along with the gun shot into his chest. It was a slow acting poison for which it would of killed him within the last 18 to 20 hours. However it was no doubt the bullet wound to his chest that has gotten to him first." She will state with a slight chuckle. "And all this with him being with the C.I.A. agent at the Washington, D.C. embassy to be killed."
"Just you wait Janice. We still have the MIR, AND CAT SCAN to worry about . Maybe it will prove different on what did kill him first." He will say with slight sarcasm with his tone of voice.
