Far away were a couple of exceeds on a mission. They were only on a mission because, like Hunter, the author forgot all about them. Happy, Carla and their kids Jewel and Blue, plus Pantherlily and his kids Tigris, James and Daisy. How Pantherlily has kids, we may never know but that's unimportant. Just like their mission is, so let's move on...
Natsu, Erza, Gray, Wendy, Jellal and Lisanna was led through the castle, guards in front and behind them. No possible escape. Not when they had guns. But even so, Natsu only grew more hopeful.
He nudged the younger dragon slayer who looked over at him in confusion. "Do you smell them?" he whispered excitedly. Now that they were getting closer, Natsu caught a stronger whiff of both Luna and Nashi. Wendy nodded, her face set in determination.
Lisanna rolled her eyes. "Oh, you smell them, do you?" she whispered scornfully. She was hoping they wouldn't find them. Guess she went through all that trouble for nothing. Maybe.
"Well, that's great. Isn't it?" Jellal shot Lisanna a questioning glance mixed with confusion on her attitude.
"Oi! Stop talking!" a guard shouted.
Gray and Ezra exchanges looks of absolute annoyance. Natsu huffed in anger. Wendy and Jellal still had calm expressions. And Lisanna has other things to be concerned about, like how she might lose Natsu to that blond bimbo once again.
"Can't I just requip?" Ezra muttered.
"There's too many of them," Gray whispered.
"I said stop talking!" the same guard shouted.
The girls are close, Natsu thought. They're close. Don't worry, girls, I'll save you. I'm coming.
Nashi's eyes stared at the keys, wondering when she could make her move. The guard attached to those keys is very much awake. Go to fucking sleep, Nashi thought, impatiently.
"Mister, where's Luna?" Nashi asked for the millionth time. "I'll stop asking if you just tell me. Where is she?"
"Shut up!" the guard yelled. "Your time will come to join her soon enough."
Nashi's eyes widened in horror. "Oh my gosh, you killed her?" she shrieked.
The guard stared at her but decided to not respond to her.
"You bastard," Nashi seethed. "I'll kill all of you! I'll make you pay for taking my twin sister away from me! I'll... kill... you..."
The guard ignored her as Nashi sank to the floor and began crying. I have to take the keys. To escape. For Luna... that's what she would want. Right? Nashi sobbed over the loss of her sister. I only just found you, Luna. Why did you have to leave me?
