Lessons In Love: Chapter Thirty-Four: Magic (Part 3)

Ok, bear with me people. The current mood in Kathmandu was very domesticated. Each group seemed to orbit one another as some of them journeyed around the Kamar taj.

The two versions of Tony Stark remained in the weapons room. They were engaged in a conversation, and they weren't ready to grace the others with their presence.

From the Vishanti, all the way to some love advice, the two of them had a boatload of things to discuss.

The other groups that were in orbit had eaten their food. The majority of them thought that it was gross, but you're not supposed to complain when you're hungry.

Clea and the Strange boys returned to the library, and she had them both crack open the books.

The two best friends that journeyed with Big Steve settled over at the training grounds.

The older Steve gave them clothing that they could move around in. It looked like karate garments, but they both thought that the change was comfortable.

Baby Steve and Baby Bucky started some physical training first. That was Big Steve's style, and he gave their awkward behavior zero attention.

He knew that Bucky "lied to him". But the soldier also knew that they would work it out, when they worked it out.

At the moment, his focus was set on the sloppy footwork of his younger self. It was obvious that he was not comfortable in that skin at all. Big Steve could see that he was still used to having legs at a shorter length.

Not good.

The physical labor in that group got started. They were given an explanation why, and the two would-be-soldiers just went with the flow.

That carried on until the sky became dark. None of the individuals being trained were physically or mentally fatigued, except one. Victor was exhausted.

The mental homework that he participated in with his brother drained him, because he had no part in the Vishanti, or the super-soldier serum.

Everyone else was still upbeat and alert. Clea showed them both where they could get some sleep, and they finally saw some of the other people at the Kamar taj.

Big Steve was showing those best friends where they could rest. He saw the younger Stephen Strange, and he gently smiled at Clea.

"We get our own rooms?"

Victor was happy for that. He walked into the very small room, and he happily looked about. Stephen heard his younger brother, but his focus was still partially centered on his captivating instructor.

Stephen listened to every single word that she said. He didn't process the whole "why" of it all at that point, but he was retaining the words that she spoke about magic and spells.

"Yes yes, you all get your very own rooms."

A familiar voice answered the question, but it sounded far more mature. The older Tony emerged from his hiding place, and his younger self was right beside him.

The older Steve tried not to smile, and he turned his focus to the two in his jurisdiction.

Each "instructor" let them choose their rooms, and settle into the magical world of the Kamar taj. Big Tony let his mini-me take off wherever he wanted, and he walked right up to Clea Strange.

He wasn't surprised to see her handling Stephen's business, but he wanted to tease her about it for a bit. She acknowledged the older Tony, and they were eventually joined by the older Steve.

"Having fun with your younglings?"

Tony sent his question in Clea and Steve's direction. They both looked at him, but only one responded.

Steve looked directly at his little red corvette, and he made a point to set up some boundaries.

"You need to keep yourself, to yourself. He's distracted enough as it is."

"HAH. Good luck with that."

Big Tony laughed. He didn't give a single shit about any jurisdictional lines. He held his infamous grin, and Big Steve tried not to look at it.

The soldier decided that they could discuss it more when they went home. He turned his focus to Clea, and he said that he would see her in the morning.

The older Steve Rogers headed home. Tony intended to follow, but he made sure his younger self was nice and cozy before he left the nest.

Clea was the last one to go. She gave Victor the most attention, because he was the only one that needed sleep. She looked up at one of the roofs of the rooms for a short while, and then she disappeared to her own home in New York.

All the cats were away for the evening, so those four very energized mice started moving about.

They slowly started grouping up, and the deliberation about the change in setting began.
