Dear diary week 26 May 22nd through May 31st

May 22nd dear diary we buried grandma yesterday so I didn't feel like writing sorry about that diary. We spent today as a huge family eating talking and enjoying being with each other. We spent part of the day going through grandmas belongings. I was given her recipe collection and a few old dolls. The others received lots of things that were special as well as things she thought they would like. We then had a last huge dinner before everyone needed to head home. When everyone was gone we did what grandma would have wanted and turned her old bedroom into a sewing room for Elsie and I . The younger 2 will use our old sewing room in the attic as an art studio.
We also went through and got her things ready to donate to a local women's home as she had requested. We ran to IKEA for shelves tables dressers and storage bins for both the art studio and the sewing room. We then had a late lunch at a German deli when we got home we set all the new items up and got some what organized. Mom just called up she needs help loading boxes in the van so will talk to you tomorrow.
May 23rd dear diary we spent today getting ready to head to grandmas home ranch for a week. We will stay at my great aunts in a guest house we love going up there. We all packed a suitcase and a few things to do on the flight we are flying this time instead of driving. We are leaving at noon tomorrow and will be gone through the 1st. I am signing off to help Clara and Emily pack.
May 24th dear diary we flew to Montana and then drove to my great aunts ranch. When we arrived we were met by great uncle Joe. Who took us to the ranch and settled us into a bunk house. We then went trail riding before a ranch style supper and then a bonfire. Well I better sign off and get ready for bed
May 25th I spent the hole day with my cousins and sisters riding horses we took a lunch and ate on the trail at a place called picnic creek park. We also road into town for ice cream when we got home we decided to do puzzles and watch old movies. We really enjoyed ourselves and had another huge meal for dinner. We decided to sleep in the hayloft tonight we really really enjoy doing this. I will talk to you tomorrow diary we are getting ready for a bonfire singalong.
May 31st I am sorry I haven't written in for ever we have just really really needed family time since grandma passed away so we spent the last several days just being with family and enjoying being in a place we all love very very very much. We spent the days riding horses playing with animals and just enjoying farm life. We got home late this evening and made tacos for a quick dinner. Mom is putting the kids to bed so I better go get ready for bed myself.
