Deep in a dream, Marie was thrashing in her sleep.
"Finally," She heard Asriel's voice, and saw him, back to Frisk. "I was so tired of being a flower." At that, Marie was filled with confusion. Asriel turned towards Frisk. "Howdy! Chara, are you there? It's me, your best friend..." At that, a quick flash of light blinded Marie for a moment, and when it cleared, she saw what looked like a new monster in the place of Asriel, seeming like him, but older. "ASRIEL DREEMURR." She heard him say, but his voice was rolled with many others. A new music played, while Frisk was in front of a dashboard with 4 buttons and a screen. 'It's the end.' She saw what the text read, and she could now see what the buttons read. FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY. Frisk now had a DETERMINED look on their face, and presses ACT. They selected Hope on their options. The screen now read, but in Chara's voice. "You held onto your hopes. Damage reduced!" As Frisk continued with battle, Asriel said in a deep and grown-up voice. "Y'know, I don't really care about destoying this world anymore."

At once, Asriel blasted the Hyper-Goner upon Frisk, reducing their HP to 1. "Even after that attack, you're still standing in my way...?" Asriel said, suprised. "No matter. Up until this point, I've only been using a fraction of my power! Now, let's see how your DETERMINATION fares against THIS!" Another bright light filled the void the three were in, and Asirel appeared, but now with longer fangs and horns, his appearance drastically changed. "Urah hah hah...BEHOLD! My true form!" After a while of battling, Frisk was desperately trying to reach their SAVE file. Nothing happened. But then, the screen read, "But maybe, with what little power you have, you can SAVE something else." Marie could have sworn that she saw Chara next to Frisk helping them up, but in an instant, they were gone. Frisk's SOUL shimmered a bright white and red light, then she saw her friends. Somethings was different, their faces were covered in a white glitch and their voices were muffled and glitched. "All humans must DIE!" She heard Undyne howl. "THEN EVERYONE WILL..." Papyrus trailed off. "Just give up. I did." She heard Sans, but he was crying. "I'm sorry..." She heard Asgore apologize. "This is for your own good." Toriel chided. Frisk SAVED them all, and then, they SAVED someone else. Along with Frisk, she saw a slideshow. A new music played as she saw Asriel guide Chara to his parents, then they were happy together in a family photo. Marie was crying as she watched the next scene. "So, just STOP doing this...AND JUST LET ME WIN!" She heard Asriel cry, while Frisk was engulfed in a beam of magic. Thinking the worst, Marie was sobbing more and more. But then, Frisk was still alive. Their DETERMINATION had allowed their HP to still be. 0.1 HP. "STOP IT! STOP IT NOW!" She heard Asriel bellow while crying too. 0.0001 HP. It decreased further, then Asriel finally gave up the fight. Reverting to the boy Marie knew, he turned to Frisk with tears in his eyes. "I know, you're not...what is your name?" "Frisk!" She heard Frisk reply. "Frisk? That's a nice name..." Asriel lamented, then continued with, "I can't keep these SOULs inside of me. Right now, I can feel everyone's hearts beating as one. With everyone's hearts, with everyone's power, it's time for monsters..." Asriel said. "To finally go free." At that, the very music that played when she SAVED Darien was playing for Asriel as he floated in the air, six human SOULs and countless monster SOULs float around him. Another bright light filled the room, and she heard a deafening crack. "THE BARRIER WAS DESTROYED." She heard an unknown voice report. Asriel was left to Frisk as both of the children hugged. "I am going to turn into a flower." She heard Asriel explain. Now she was sobbing, and thrusting her SOUL forward for him to hopefully catch. The SOUL immediately rushed back to Marie, no matter how much she wanted it to go to him. She knew that as a flower, he would be SOULESS. After saying his goodbyes, Asriel cast one last look of longing to Frisk, but then, to Marie. He nodded at her, then walked away. Marie gasped as she woke up, sobbing ever more. This time, though, Percy wasn't there to help her. Percy wasn't awake yet. Asriel appeared before Marie and said, "I know it's sad, but that's what happens in our time." Marie cried out and said, "Why? What would make you deserve this?" Not knowing what happened with the young goat child as his SOULESS counterpart. After explaining everything about what happened, Marie couldn't help but cry harder. Frisk and Chara came too, and all three hugged her to comfort her. It helped as her tears subsided a bit. Sans appeared along with Undyne, Alphys, Papyrus, Toriel, and Asgore, and all hugged her. After the hugs, a knocking at the front door alerted her as she got up and out of her room to investigate. Marie opened the door, and was greeted by people she never knew. "Hello, young lady. My name is Copper Lightvale, and these pretty ladies are my sisters, Agate, and Amber. We are looking for a place to stay tonight, if you can spare anywhere for us to stay."
