(Note from author: I'm not dead you guys. I'm back. I know I'm bringing back Stepper so soon, but I just couldn't resist. I'm also going to bring back our favorite evil dorito! Enjoy!)

Stepper hit one of the Holo-Pearls, making it disappear. "Hey, we're doing pretty good." Stepper said to himself. Suddenly, everything went gray. "What's going on?!" Stepper asked. A yellow triangle formed out of nowhere and Bill appeared. "Hey Pine Tree!" Bill said. "No. No. This isn't possible." Stepper said. "You're darn sure it is!" Bill said, snapping his fingers. "You again!" Steven's side of Stepper said, angrily. Bill looked at the fusion. "Hold on, it's both of those punks combined into one four armed freak!" Bill said. "Wait, Steven, you know him?!" Stepper asked himself. "Err, it's a long story." Stepper said. "This is great! It'll be fun to torture you both at the same time!" Bill said excitedly. "No, wait. This isn't real!" Stepper exclaimed. "You-you don't exist anymore! This is just a hallucination, or something like that." Stepper said fearfully. "Hate to break it to you Diamond Tree. But, you're ḋ̸̹ḛ̴̖͊͊ä̶͈́̿ḓ̶̕ ̷͖̐ẉ̴̓ṛ̴̠̀́ō̴̼̩n̷̤̅g̴̢͈̑́!" Bill said as his eye turned red. Bill pulled out an hourglass, just on the brink of ending. "Looks like my time is up!" Bill said. "It was nice seeing you flesh sacks! See you in your nightmares!" Bill said. The demon snapped his fingers and the floor disappeared. Stepper screamed as they started to unfuse. Steven and Dipper both woke up. They didn't know it, but they had both had the same dream. They both looked at their hand. It said,

"Two minds are better than one."

They didn't get much sleep for the rest of the night. That day, Garnet and Pearl wanted to try out fusion training. Dipper tried to sleep in and get some rest. "Dipper. Dipper. Dipper!" Mabel said, shaking her brother. Dipper shooed her away. "Mabel, let me sleep." Dipper muttered. "Dipper, it's already 10! You're late for sword practice!" Mabel said. Dipper looked at the watch that laid on his nightstand. Mabel was right. "Oh no!" Dipper said. "Told you sleepyhead!" Mabel said. Dipper threw on a navy blue jacket instead of his preferred vest. Mabel caught a glimpse of the writing on her brother's hand. "What's that?" Mabel asked. "Oh! Nothing." Dipper said, rubbing his hand on his shorts, hopping to get rid of the ink on his hand.

Steven was waiting near the warp pad. "Took you long enough." Steven chuckled. The warp pad lit up and they disappeared. They reappeared at the Sky Arena. "Hello Dipper, Mabel, Steven." Garnet said. Steven hugged Garnet. "It's good to see you two again." Steven said. "It's good to see you too Steven." Pearl said. "I can't to you guys fuse! I've heard lots from Mabel." Pearl said. "Right, fusion training." Dipper muttered to himself. He had completely forgotten. It's been a few weeks since they formed Stepper. "Yep! Stepper is awesome!" Mabel said, trapping the two in a hug. They both blushed as she let go. "You ready?" Steven asks. Dipper stares out into space, not hearing Steven. "Oh! Yeah." Dipper said, finally paying attention. There are dark bags under his eyes. "Hey, are you ok?" Steven asked, not like he was any more tired than Dipper. "I'm fine." Dipper said.

"Would you mind fusing now? I would really love to meet him!" Pearl said cheerfully. "Sure!" Steven said. Steven looks at Dipper, waiting for his approval. "Yeah. Ok." Dipper said. Steven holds out his hand for Dipper to grab. "Hold on tight." Steven said. Dipper did so as they began to spin. Steven was starting to smile and laugh. Dipper couldn't help but join in. When Dipper opened his eyes, they were floating at least 6 feet off the ground. "Steven! We're-" Dipper said, a little scared. "I know!" Steven said, still smiling. As light shone from Steven's gem, they began to fuse.

As Stepper appeared in their place he didn't stop laughing. He didn't notice that he was still floating. He looked down. "Uh oh." Stepper said. He began to fall. He landed on his face as he landed. "Ow…" Stepper said. Mabel went up to help him. "No. No. I'm fine." Stepper said as he laughed nervously. The fusion stood up to face Garnet and Pearl. "Hey Pearl and Garnet! Er-I guess I just saw you a few seconds ago." Stepper said nervous in front of this sword instructor. "Hey! There's my awkward kind of brother!" Mabel said, hugging the fusion's legs. "Hi Mabel." Stepper said. He looked back at Pearl and Garnet. "So...what do you think?" Stepper asked. "You guys look great together." Garnet said, adjusting her visor. "I agree! You two will be great in battle!" Pearl said. "Thanks guys." Stepper said. All of a sudden, the warp pad goes off. Connie runs out panting. "Hey! Am I late?" Connie asked, out of breath.

"Connie!" Mabel said. "Hey! Where's Steven and Dipper?" Connie asked, looking around. "Oh. Um. Hi." Stepper said, awkwardly waving at her with his upper set of arms. "Oh! Right! You guys are doing fusion training!" Connie said. "Well, it's nice to see you two in a somewhat different way." Connie laughed. "Heh. yeah." Stepper blushed. "Well, you two. Should we start?" Pearl asked. "Yeah! Totally." Stepper replied. "I hope you still have that sword I gave you." Pearl said. "I should probably show you both something." Stepper said. He took out his sword and summoned his shield. He put them both together as they reappeared as a rose pink, crystalized sword. Both Pearl and Garnet's eyes lit up. "This is amazing! I've never seen anything like it before!" Pearl exclaimed. "It certainly is unique." Garnet said. "It looks so cool!" Connie said. Stepper smiled at everyone's comments. "Well then, let's begin!" Pearl said.
