Marco couldn't shake the feeling that he has seen this house before, but he couldn't put his finger on it. The blue man led the boy inside to an even familiar setting and it was driving Marco crazy. Maybe it was in a dream? Marco told himself as he followed Glossaryck up the stairs. There was nobody home it seemed, but Glossaryck thought otherwise as he knocked on a bedroom door.

"My lady? Are you in there?"

"Come in, Glossaryck." a female voice called out from beyond the door.

Marco widened his eyes at the voice and finally recognized whose house they were in. The door opened to reveal a blonde haired girl with blue highlights laying on her bed and looking up at her phone. Marco was freaking out as he stepped into the room and stared at the teenage girl.

"J-jackie?" The boy stuttered.

The blonde teen looked towards the door and smiled.

"Oh hey Marco."

Marco stood there astonished with his mouth agape. He looked at Glossaryck who bowed before her.

"Uh Glossaryck? Why are we at Jackie's house?"

"Correction. Why are we at Lady Fate's house. Show some respect, boy."

"Show some respect? THIS IS MY EX-GIRLFRIEND!"

Jackie giggled at Marco's reaction as she sat up in her bed.

"Oh Marco, always so naive." The girl said playfully.

"Jackie, I don't understand. What's going on?" Marco questioned slowly.

"Don't worry about it, kid. All you need to know is that this is Lady Fate and she is going to help us." Glossaryck chimed in.

Marco was about to speak but put his hands up in defeat. Glossaryck was right, all that matters right now is the end goal. The boy quickly apologized and bowed respectfully. Jackie smiled and stood up, she walked over to Marco and ruffled his hair.

"I guess you guys could use a bit of help, huh?"

"Yeah Ja-, I mean yes Lady Fate."

"Unfortunately I can only give you some advice, Marco. You can beat Toffee, IF you surrender yourself to him. If you enter his prison before he uses the key to escape, then he'll be forced into your mind. He'll still escape, but he won't be a God. Now here comes the advice: don't let Fate decide your life for you."

Marco instantly frowned and stood up in silence. He didn't know what to do. He was just told that he can save everyone if he sacrifices himself. But he was also told that he shouldn't let Fate decide. Wait. Marco thought as he realized an important factor.

"You wouldn't tell me how to beat him unless he already has the key!"

"Close. Toffee's elite are in possession of the artifact. Your girlfriend and her group are tailing them as we speak. If you hurry then you can intercept them on your way to Father Time's dimension."

"WHAT? Let's go then!" Marco shouted as he grabbed his head in surprise.

The boy thanked Lady Fate and spun around to head out, but was grabbed from behind by Jackie.

"Wait. Give this to Father Time! It is VERY important." The blonde said as she gave Marco a black briefcase.

The boy nodded and thanked her again before turning around to the floating blue man.

"Let's get out of here, Glossaryck. Please bring us to Father Time's realm."

The tiny magic wizard immediately conjured a blue portal that surrounded the duo and teleport-ed them away. When the bright light ceased, Marco found himself in the dull grayness of the time dimension. He scanned the area for the man in question and saw him watching some TV monitors with different images on screen. Marco rushed over with the briefcase in hand to the tall blue man, it looked like the boy was trying to catch a flight.

"Hey! I need a favor! I got your briefcase from Fate!" Marco yelled out to the man.

Father Time turned around and smiled at the boy who arrived earlier than expected.

"Aye Marco! Glad to see you can make it, right on time too. I assume you have a plan to deal with the current situation?"

"Somewhat. Can you tell me where Star is?"

"Take a look for yourself."

The time-lord pointed to a TV screen with what looked like flying saucers on it. Marco peered closely and realized it was his girlfriend, Kelly, and Dennis on a flying blue convertible, they seemed to be chasing a topless black spaceship. There were individuals in the vehicle but the hoods blocked their faces from Marco. One of them was shooting spells back at Star, who was shooting her own at them.

"Can you get me down there, Father Time?" Marco exasperated as he watched the scene unfold on the TV.

"Hmm. Sure! But you'll need this." The man replied as he bent down to retrieve the briefcase.

The time-lord pulled a page from the book of spells and read it over carefully before folding it neatly and handing it to Marco.

"This spell should solve your problem. When you want to use it, just call for Glossaryck and hand it to him."

Marco put the sheet of paper in his back pocket without looking at it. He looked back at Father Time to signal that he was ready. The man snapped his fingers and a portal open near Marco.

"Good luck."

Marco smiled as he walked over to the portal and jumped through. The boy reappeared on the enemy ship and realized he was standing right next to the enemy spell caster.

"Wow that was convenient." The knight chuckled as he drew his weapon.

He severed the hand that was holding the wand and kicked the man off the flying vehicle. Marco had no time to celebrate when another goon came at him with a knife. He cracked the robed figure in the nose with his shield, which resulted in the attacker falling back onto the seat of the co-pilot. The co-pilot pushed the goon off the side and looked back to see Marco stabbing a third goon in the stomach.

"Take care of him, Reaper." the pilot growled.

The co-pilot, now known as Reaper, stood up to his full height. He wore a midnight black cloak over body armor and black military pants with matching combat boots. The man cracked his knuckles and stepped over the seat. Marco set his sights on the new opponent and swung Silver Lining downwards, but the mysterious man grabbed the blade with one gloved hand and materialized a scary looking shotgun in his free hand.

"Die." Reaper muttered as he pulled the trigger.

Marco quickly extended his shield up to block the shot but the impact sent him flying to the back of the ship. The boy saw stars as his head hit the metal wall of the vehicle. The man moved quickly to Marco's body and grabbed him by his face and picked him up. Reaper held the boy over the side of the spaceship.

"You're a little too late, kid." Reaper mocked.

"Sorry. My watch was SLOW!" Marco screamed the last part as he plunged his blade into the man's stomach.

Reaper shouted in agony as he dropped the teenage knight and stumbled back into the vehicle.

Marco fell through the air fast as he swung his arms around as if there was a branch to grab onto. He screamed for Glossaryck and started to panic when he got no answer. The boy closed his eyes and hoped for someone to save him. Marco's prayers were answered when he felt someone grab his hand tightly.

"Gotcha!" the voice called out.

Marco opened his eyes to see Tom smiling down at him. It was HIS Tom from HIS dimension.

"Damn buddy, lay off the nachos." Tom said as he flew upwards.

The demon started to spin in circles rapidly as he gripped Marco's hand, igniting fire in his free hand to quicken the rotations.

"Here we GO!" Tom yelled as he let go of the boy's hand.

Marco was sent flying into the sky and he noticed the ship coming into view really fast. He flew right past the ship and finally his momentum gave out a couple feet above the vehicle and he landed on the wing of it. The teen crossed over into the seating area to see Reaper trying to pull out his sword.

"Lemme get that for you." Marco said as he gripped the handle and pulled back with all his force.

Marco put his foot against reaper as he yanked the blade out and kicked off the man's body. Reaper fell back into his seat and growled at the boy's actions. Marco wasted no time hopping over the seat and jamming his blade through the back of the pilot's seat into their chest.

"Pull over!" Marco called out.

The pilot let out a feminine scream as she let go of the steering wheel. Reaper looked up to his attacker and narrowed his eyes in anger.

"YOU AGAIN!" He shouted as he scrambled to get up.

"And TOM!" the demon commented as he flew beside the ship.

Tom landed on the hood and blasted a column of fire at the man in black, only for it to be blocked with a blue forcefield conjured by the pilot. The demon was about to turn his attention to her when he felt extreme heat graze his side. Tom turned his head and saw Reaper holding his, still smoking, shotgun. Tom narrowed his red eyes with the intention to kill the man when his arms were glued to his sides as a chain wrapped around him.

"You think these can hold me? HA!" Tom blurted out as he used his body heat to melt through the chains.

He was almost done when he felt thousands of volts of electricity enter his body from the chain. Tom screamed in agony as he fell to his knees and Reaper aimed his barrel at the demon's head. Marco kicked the weapon out of Reaper's hand as he fell to his knees and stabbed his hidden knife into the witch's shoulder.

"I SAID PULL OVER!" Marco snarled as he twisted the blade and yanked the steering wheel to the right.

The pilot screamed in pain again as she headbutted Marco, which dazed him and gave Reaper the opportunity to blow his head off. Reaper's plan was yet again foiled when Tom spewed a cone of fire from his mouth to block the man's vision. The man growled and pointed his shotgun back at Tom, but Marco took this chance to remove the knife and plunge it into Reaper's throat while he was distracted. The man choked and clawed at his throat. Tom melted his chains off and grabbed Marco before flying upwards right as the ship crashed into ground below them. Tom landed safely with Marco a couple feet back. They watched the wrecked ship erupt into flames, but were too busy to realize something landing behind them.

"Marco? Tom?"

AUTHOR's NOTE: DAMN THAT WAS A CRAZY CHAPTER! It was kinda slow at first but it picked up a bit. This is for the record, Marco and Tom did not get a free win! Reaper and his pilot will be back next chapter. It was weird to see that Jackie ended up being Lady Fate but I felt like tying her in somehow. It was going to be Janna originally, but I felt like that would have been too cheesy. I bet some of you were excited to see Tom come back, we haven't seen him since chapter 7ish. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter and review your comments and concerns. See you tomorrow for another chapter.
