ALIEN SCERETS
LEX LUTHOR
He makes his way to Lex Star satellite control. Eve Tessmacher is waiting with her assistant. "Lex I found it. I found Superman's base of operations."
"Show me." They show him a video of an area in the North Pole. "I see nothing." Eve presses a few buttons and blue overlay comes on the screen showing an outline of a massive structure. "We can't see it because its reflecting the sun and it has a cloaking shield. We are picking up massive energy fluctuations."
"Superman's home."
For days Lex studies the information sent by his satellites and starts working on a device that can knockout the defenses of the structure if there are any. Lex creates a diversion to distract Superman while he explores his hidden base. He travels by private submarine. "Alright commence operation Prometheus." Lex commands.
When Superman is distracted Lex, Eve, and Mercy leave the Submarine after launching an EMP missile. The missile explodes disabling the fortress' defenses and the cloaking device. They speed towards the structure using jet-packs. "This is fantastic!" He yells, his voice echoing off the walls.
"Lex we better hurry I don't know how long that EMP blast will last." Eve says.
They stop in a gallery of some kind, "Who are they supposed to be?" Mercy asks staring at two statues of ice.
"Superman's parents. They must have sent him here when he was a baby."
"If we can figure out who was adopted say twenty-four to thirty years ago we can find out who he really is." Eve says.
Lex shakes his head, "No the adoption would be made to look legal. And it could be anyone. No this is enough for now." Eventually they find the command center. "This must be the central control system."
"Lex!"
They walk over to Eve who finds an open case with different crystals in them. Suddenly the lights start coming on. "Shit! Grab what you can." He says to the other two women grabbing a few crystals. They activate their jetpacks and fly off. In all they make it out with five crystals combined. Lex sets up an isolated laboratory in the mountains near Metropolis.
"These Crystals respond to different vibrations and tones." A special scanner is created and then they hook up a crystal to a computer and the scanner. Alien hieroglyphs run across the screen. Then a picture appears on a monitor.
"My God we are looking into another dimension…"
"Icratu nai!" They hear voices echo from within the dimension.
Later they try another crystal, but have no success. After a while they go back to the first crystal. "They keep saying the same words over and over again." Eve says.
"I noticed that as well…Help me. Maybe help us."
"They do sound like they are in pain…" Mercy says speaking up.
"A prison of some type."
It takes a few days but they are ready to open the portal to the dimension. The red Crystal expands into a doorway and five Kryptonians come through it. They stagger out of the portal and fall unconscious. "We should collect blood samples while they are unconscious." Eve says grabbing a needle off the table.
ZOD
The passage of time in the Phantom Zone varied from hour to hour. Sometimes it felt as if you were in there for seconds. The next it felt like years, months, and minutes. The artificial dimension warped reality and space. Passing from it back into normal space was disorienting. The only thing that kept Zod going was his hatred of Jor'El and one day getting revenge on his former friend.
When he saw a door open he and his comrades were able to leave the Zone. The disorientation of normal space caused him to pass out. Slowly his eyes adjust to the red light. He is slow to sit up and as he does he hears voices. "Mister Luthor another one is waking up."
Zod takes a breath and looks up. He is in a room of some kind with a glass view. The beings staring at him look like Kryptonians or Nubens. They certainly speak like Nubens. "Can you understand me?" The one in the white coat asks.
Of course Zod can understand him, but he wasn't interested in communicating with a lower life form. "Where am I? Who are you?" He asks in his own language. A slot opens and a tray is slid in. There is food of some kind on the tray. Zod removes the plastic wrap over the tray and sniffs it. He likes the creamy cloud like stuff(mashed potatoes) and the meat(meat loaf). The yellow seeds (corn) he does not like.
The drink is water with ice in it. When he is done eating Zod places the tray back into the slot and walks over to the glass. Non is across from him and they nod to each other. Ursa is to his right, Nala is next to Non and Jaxur is beside Zod in another cell.
LEX LUTHOR
"Start with the short haired woman." He says. "We will examine her first."
"Lex perhaps we should move the crystals. By now Superman will have discovered the theft."
"I have some people moving them now."
URSA
She can see Non and Jaxur, but it is Non who signals that Zod is in a cell next to her. The red lights mimic Krypton's red sun. Jaxur had deduced they were on a primitive planet in another galaxy. Ursa sists on a mat meditating when she hears the humans. Even though they can't speak to one another they can communicate non-verbally with each other.
Five humans, three are armed and two are not walk up to her cell. One of them presses buttons on the pad. Suddenly gas starts to fill her cell. Ursa coughs and falls to her knees pretending that the gas affects her. When she passes out the gas is sucked from her cell. The door is opened and they enter. Ursa's eyes pop open and she breaks the knee of one of the armed men with a kick. "Restrain her! Restrain her!" One man yells, she stabs her fingers into the eyes of one of the unarmed men and sweeps the legs of the other.
She grabs a gun from one of the armed men and shoots down the rest. When she enters the hallway the alarms start sounding as the man she stabbed in the eyes bellows in pain. She shoots him and smashes the panel on Non's cell. She crosses the wires and his cell opens. He grabs a gun as Ursa opens the rest of the cells.
ZOD
"Well done Ursa." He says speaking in Kryptonian
"Thank you General…"
"General I believe we can escape through this ventilation system." Jax-Ur says.
"Non!"
Non kicks the vent and they crawl through the vents looking for an exit. After several twists and turns Jaxur leads them to a vent that leads outside. "A yellow sun." Jax-Ur says looking up, "Rou has truly blessed us. Soon we will be unstoppable."
"First we must survive." Nala says.
They run across the field to fence when a helicopter flies overhead and shoots in front of them as a warning. Non looks up and his eyes start glowing, with a roar he unleashes his heat vision and shoots down the helicopter. The helicopter spins out of control and hits the main building exploding. They run up to the fence and stop. Non tries to do it again, but nothing happens. He shoots the fence with his gun, but Ursa leaps over the fence while the rest pull down the loose part of the fence and escape into the forest.
SUPERMAN
When he returns to the Fortress he frowns as a few of his crystals are missing from the case. He learns that the power was off for eight minutes. He also finds foot prints, "Father what are the chances the humans can open a phantom zone crystal?"
"With their technology, there is a forty percent chance they will succeed."
Superman sends out drones to scan and locate his crystals. The drones search every building publicly and privately owned by Lex Luthor or his company. There is a building in the mountains a few miles outside of Metropolis, that is led lined. Through the drone Superman is able to hack the building's security systems. As soon as he discovers his crystals he flies towards the building.
When he arrives the building is on fire and with his breath he puts the flames out. He is able to rescue the survivors, but his crystals are missing. "Who is in charge here?" He demands.
"I am." Eve Tessmacher says stepping forward.
"Where are my crystals?"
"I don't know…Lex is moving them."
"Where?"
"I don't know."
"What happened here?"
"They escaped…The Kryptonians."
He flies up into the atmosphere and with his enhanced vision he spots Zod. He is about to fly at the Kryptonians when he receives a signal from a drone. The Crystals are on a helicopter heading for Metropolis. He goes after the crystals. He forces the helicopter to land and takes the crystals.
