The Tale of Izuku and Ochako
Deku's P.O.V
It was Labor Day Weekend which meant we had Monday off. I read online about this water park that was open and had a discount for students. I had already told Ochako about it and she was all for it. Today was gonna be a blast! I had just finished up cleaning up my dorm before heading out. I got a message from Ochako.
Ochako-chip cookie: Let's meet up at the water park around 12. I got a little surprise for you.
Deku-Darling: Sure thing babe. I'll be there in 15.
I had made it in time thanks to using a small percent of my quirk to increase my speed. The line wasn't as long as I thought it would be fortunately. After I finally paid my ticket I made my way inside. I was looking for Ochako. As I looked around someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and saw nobody behind me. Someone tapped my shoulder again. I turned around and back again seeing Ochako in front of me. She giggled. "Sorry I had to do that," she said. I looked at her and what she was wearing.
She had a loose white blouse over a pink bathing suit with flower patterns around it. She twirled around in front of me and smiled. "So….. do you like?" She asked. I could only look at her with a goofy smile and blush. "I do," I said. She kissed my cheek. "I figured you would," Ochako told me, "Though Mina did help a little bit with it. She let me borrow this swimsuit." "Well I think you look great, no matter what you wear," I said. Ochako poked my nose. "What did I say about flattering when it's unnecessary?" She asked playfully. I smiled. "So are we just gonna stand here or enjoy our date?"
The first thing we did was go down a water slide. Ochako held on yo my waist as we went down the slide and we screamed playfully. We landed in the water and resurfaced. The next thing we did was try to splash each other with water. I had used my quirk to shield myself. Ochako playfully pouted. "Hey no cheating!" She said as she tackled me. We also had some yummy snacks. I got some ice cream on my nose and she licked it off giggling. "You're so silly," she said. "Silly am I?" I asked. I held Ochako from behind by the waist. "I think you're overdue for some kisses from the broccoli boy!" I started smooching her to which she giggled. "Deku-kun!" She said.
Later she was doing some kind of monologue. "This day almost a year ago, I lost my darling boyfriend Izuku," she said. I overheard her. "Ochako would you stop telling people I'm dead?!" I yelled from the other side. "Sometimes, it seems like I can still hear his voice," she said. I was getting annoyed. "If only Izuku was here," she said. "I'M RIGHT HERE WOMAN!" I shouted. She ran towards me and glommed me. "Why do you feel the need to torment me like this?" I asked. "Because you're so cute," she said as she kissed my forehead. As we were cuddling together I heard a familiar voice call out my name. "Izuku?" She asked.
We both turned around and I saw a face I never thought I'd see again. "M-Mika?!" I asked. It was Mina Inaba a girl I had a crush on in middle school. During the 8th grade celebration festival, I decided to confess to her. However she rejected me for another guy because he had a "Cool quirk". I was heartbroken. And not only that, but most times she took every possible chance she could to ridicule me for not having a quirk.
She was with her boyfriend Koshi Li enjoying the beach.
"Well if it isn't the little quirkiness liar," Koshi said. Sometimes she also made it look like I was trying to steal her from her boyfriend just to humiliate me. Ochako was the only one who took by my side. "So what are you doing here?" Mika asked. "I'm enjoying my date with my girlfriend Ochako," I said getting close to Ochako. Mika simply scoffed. "I'm surprised you actually chose to go out with someone like him," she said, "He puts in work but it won't get him anywhere unless he has a quirk, let alone being a pro hero." Those words shot straight through me like an arrow.
Ochako stood up to her. "You don't get it at all!" Ochako said, "What's wrong with working hard to achieve a goal? As far as I'm concerned, Deku will make more of a hero then you could ever be, and if you can't see that, you don't deserve to call yourself a hero!" I was surprised Ochako said that stuff to Mika. "Come on Izuku," Ochako said as she took my hand, "Let's go." We were enjoying the rest of the day at the water park. For some reason I couldn't get Mika's words out of my head. That is until I found something to keep me distracted. A food truck. I turned to Ochako and asked, "Want me to grab us something?" She nodded.
Uraraka's P.O.V
I was waiting for Deku while he was getting us some food from his favorite food truck. I noticed footsteps to my right. I looked to see Mika walking to me. "Well well well, if it isn't the girlfriend of the quirkiness boy," she said, "So how goes it." "What's it to you?" I asked while turning away. "Hey, I was just asking a question," she said. I noticed she was eying my body a bit. "Well, no wonder he grew attracted to you," she said, "You're good looking and got a nice bod."
"Um… thanks?" I asked. Mika started getting close to me. "So why do you choose to be with someone like him, when you have other options?" She asked. I was offended that she would ask something like that. "Honestly Mika, why do you take every opportunity to talk badly about him?" "Hmm, how to put it," she said, "Izuku is the type of guy who likes to waste his efforts. He puts in a lot of work that rarely goes anywhere. He was obviously fated to be unhappy and single forever." I got infuriated.
"Listen, I don't care who you are," I stated, "You have no right to talk that way about my Deku!" She got closer to my face. "I love women that are feisty," she said. "What's that supposed to…" I didn't get a chance to finish as I was pushed to a wall. She placed her right hand to my left and got closer to me.
"What are you.." I managed to say before she put her hands on my bottom. For some reason her grip was strong and I couldn't get away. Her left hand went for my chest squeezing it roughly and also attempting to pull my blouse and swimsuit off. I try to use my quirk on her but she keeps me pinned. "I don't think so," Mika said. "Stop it!" I said. I struggled to escape her grasp but she kept her hold on me not letting me go anywhere. "Don't cry sweetie, I just wanna make you feel good." She then came closer and was about to kiss me. "Dump that loser and come spend time with a real woman," she said. I closed my eyes wanting this to stop. I heard a voice that was both shocked and angered.
"HEY!" She turned to see Deku staring at her. Her grip was loose enough for me to run towards him. "What do you want?" She asked. "I want you to stay the hell away from my girlfriend," Izuku said now pissed, "You can talk trash about me, call me weak, or say I'm not worth being around. But when you lay your hands on my Mochi, that's when I get pissed." She smirked.
"Whatever," she said, "You're a quirkiness hero wannabe and that's all you'll ever be." His hand balled to a fist. "I'm not one for hitting women, but for someone like you I'll make an exception!" He dashed at Mika and punched her hard. I heard people walking towards us. "What's going on here?!" Asked someone. Mika decided to play the victim to try and get Deku in trouble. "Thank goodness you came," she said, "Izuku tried to sexually touch Ochako, and then I came to help her and he just out right attacked me!"
"You're the one who sexually touched her!" Deku snapped, "Tell them the truth!" "Don't believe his lies!" Koshi glared at Deku. "First you try to steal my girl, now you try to attack her!?" He asked. He put his hands into fists. "I'm gonna enjoy tearing you apart for lying." "It's true!" Said a lifeguard. He started showing people a video he took. People were looking at the video and saw that Mika was lying the whole time. She even tried to kiss me. Mika looked to the crowd.
"No wait!" She said, "This isn't what it looks like!" "Yeah," I said turning to her, "Neither are you." Deku got up. "If I may, I'd like to take the opportunity to say….. BUSTED!" Mika turned to Koshi. "Did you hear what this loser just said to me?" She asked. Koshi grinned. "Yeah, I do believe he said… BUSTED!" He said, "And by the way, we're done."
Mika scoffed. "Whatever," she said, "It doesn't change the fact that Izuku is still a quirkiness nobody." That crossed the line with Deku. He channeled Aura into his body. "You wanna see a quirk?" He asked. He showed off his aura abilities and made a huge wave by shooting an Aura Sphere into the water. The water came down splashing on top of Mika getting her wet. "You got it," he said. I smiled knowing he got even.
Later we were heading back to campus.
"Are you sure you're ok now?" I asked. "Yeah, one of the best things about having a quirk is that I no longer have to hear those awful insults," he said, "I no longer care what people think about me. I know I can be a true hero like All Might was." I smiled. "And Mika still wonders why I decided to go out with you," I told him, "She doesn't realize the potential you have, nor the courage you possess to keep going even when times are tough. You'll make a great hero, whether you have that aura quirk of yours or not." Deku smiled. "Come on, let's head back to campus," I said offering my hand. He took it. "When did I last tell you I loved you?" He asked. "About a few hours when we first went inside the park," I answered. "Then you're overdue," he said smiling to me, "I love you." "I love you too Deku," I said.
