Percy did the only thing that made sense in that situation. He ran. He felt riptide return in his pocket. He thought back to when he fell on the island the first time. He didn't explore much but he did at one point spot a cave on the other side of the island on the water.

"What's the plan?" a voice comes from behind Percy.

He whips around to find Sophia crouched behind him.

"I have no idea. I didn't explore the island that much when I was here the first time. Wait do you have any powers?" Percyh asks hopefully.

Sophia looks at him sadly and says, " Follow me".

After 10 minutes of walking they reach a cave with a stone bench inside. Sophia sits him down and says "ok so my power is this. I can basically spy on people".

" Can I ask you to show me someone?" Percy asks.

"Who?" Sophia asks warily.

"My wife. Annabeth Chase-Jackson".

"I'll try" 'Sophia closes her eyes and suddenly a shimmering image like an Iris message appears.

Annabeth is sitting on their couch with her head in her hands. Thalia and Piper are sitting next to her. Piper is sitting on her right, rubbing her back and humming softly while Thalia is questioning her.

" Ok" Thalia stands up " I'm going to go call Chiron and take a look at the kitchen and see if I can spot anything that might help. Piper, can you call the rest of the 7 plus Nico and Will?"

" Sure" Piper responds quietly.

Annabeth stood up and said " I need to get the kids ready for bed" she says, so quietly it was almost a whisper.

" No, Annabeth, you rest. I'll take care of the kids" Piper says firmly. "I'll call Josh ( Pipers bf) and tell him that I'm staying here for the next week. I'm sure Hazel will also want to help out. Frank can stay with Josh". ( Frank and Josh became like bffs)

Annabeth nodded. "Thank you" she whispers, her eyes watering.

" Oh honey" Piper sinks on the couch beside her and wraps her arms around Annabeth.

The vision fizzles out and Sofia turns to see a tear making its way down Percy's face.

" I have to get back. Now" Percy says urgently. " I can't just leave her like that".

Sofia grabs his hands and says "Percy. We will get you back but for right now we need to focus. Annabeth seems strong and she's got people who are there for her. Besides, I'm sure she wouldn't want for you to be killed because you were thinking about her. Right? So right now, we need a plan".
