50 years ago in Mystic Falls, a family of threes was at their home. The house was perfect for, two stories, tan color, a white door that the owner of the house every two years. The Gilbert Family, one of the Founding Families, the perfect family to many people. Jon Gilbert, the Head of the Gilbert lived his whole life in Mystic Falls, his wife Andy Gilbert was his perfect wife who he loves dearly. Max Gilbert, their miracle child, the doctors said it was a slim chance to have children again. When Max was born it was Jon's and Andy's happiest day in their life.
Max was named after Jon's old friends who passed away three weeks before Max's birth. The Gilbert Family held a secret, they were servants of nature or Wicca's. Witches and Warlocks get their magic from their family members and the earth. Max has been training to learn the ways of the Gilbert Family's magic that always seems to find him. Ever since Max was born, Magic would come to him as if Magic was protecting him. One time a baby monkey came to Max who was happy, while Max was playing with the monkey who he named Trickers, his parents were talking to a man wearing a black suit with a walking cane on his right hand and a ring with a black stone.
"I have been watching over the Petrova bloodline for a long time looking for his last doppelganger. And I have finally found him, your son." The man, calling himself an old-time friend of the family, explained the doppelgangers of Aries, the true lover of Silas. Andy and Jon were heartbroken after hearing the tale of Aries who was killed by his lover after his lover was placed under a spell. The man visited Max every week training him on how to guide spirits back to the light or how to hear people who passed.
Max started his own garden filled with the magic herbs that he needs, every day Max with mediate feeling the magic through the earth using his magic to heal the earth sometimes, unknown to Max but his magic was speaking to Gaea who was happy having someone after Aries to talk to as she slept. Gaea gifted Max a gift from his past, Max looked up from meditation to see a baby crow who gave Max a strange feeling as if he had seen him before. "Charon." Max's voice came out as a whisper to the crow who flew to him.
Every day Andy would teach Max how to speak new languages. Max loved learning new information and soaked it up like a sponge. Max was 7 years old wearing black jeans with a blue shirt and a red cloak that he found in an antique store wanting it. Max was standing in front of a person wearing a black suit, he had jet black hair with black eyes, his hair went to his shoulder, his face was clear of any hair.
"Who are you?" Max said with a tilted head as Charon landed on his right shoulder and clawed at the person.
"An old friend, the Fates weren't lying when they said he was here." the man said, causing Max to narrow his eyes at the man.
The man kneeled before Max could move, feeling like he was trapped in ice as the man placed a finger on his forehead, Max's eyes widened as old memories came rushing in.
Max passed out from the rush and the man left Max with an old spell book and silver wrist cuffs that had small chains on them and left. Max was in the hospital looking about 10 years old with bandages wrapped around his arms wearing a hospital gown with a sad look on his face as Trickster and Charon were on his lap with his red cloak on his lap as a police officer was seated in front of him with a man that Max is familiar with. The same man that visits Max once a month for a whole week. Uncle Ghost. Max was now at the Mystic Falls graveyard wearing a black dress with his red cloak on his shoulder with Trickster on his right shoulder and Charon on his left shoulder, in his hands were blue roses, his family's flowers, he was wearing black heels.
Max was standing in his penthouse in California wearing a black dress that hugs his feminine curves, with his hair down to his back, smoking eyeshadow, black high heels making him 5'6ft, with his red cloak on him. Max was looking over the city, thinking that he has to wait for 37 years for him to waken Silas, Max walked over to his book shelf and pulled out an old spell book and opened it, Trickster jumped off of Max's shoulder and went to get the paperwork that Max has to do, Charon sat on his perch and ate the bird seeds that Max make just for him. Max sat down behind his desk, which was created by hand just for him and his company.
Max created a school just for demigods, a sweets company. Demi Academy was for Demi-Gods and demigods only, it doesn't matter who their parents were. The academy was the perfect place for the demi-gods to learn and grow, one building for the demigods who come from the religions. Greek for the greek demigods, Roman for the Romans. Max got permission from the gods to build the academy. The academy was perfect. Most of the demi-gods that live at the academy love their rooms, Max created his own version of Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. Demi Academy was the only demigod's academy there so many demigods from all over the world came to the academy. Max bought over 500 acres of land to create the academy, there were three hospitals ran by the children of the Gods who are known for medicine and healing, many book store that is run by Demigods who love books, two pets store one for regular pets and the other for magical pets ran by the animal lovers, a vet, restaurants, grocery stores, a bank ran by goblins, elves, and leprechauns, a farm, a blacksmith shop filled with all types of materials, candy store, joke shops, apartments, surrounding the whole place with the Academy was a force field that protects the demigods from the outside world, a small school for the younger demigods, a salon ran by the children who know makeup and beauty, a daycare for the demigods who were left to be claimed by their parents.
Max was done with the book and moved on to the paperwork not looking up when the door opened and closed. Max finished with his paperwork, looked up to see his uncle ghost who was really Death and a man who was familiar to Max when he was Leo. "Hello, Hades," Max said to Hades who looked at Max with sad eyes and sat down in front of Max's desk with Death who petted Trickster who ran to greet him. Hades was the first Greek God that Max met when he was Leo. Leo would always make offerings to Hades, the offerings were many things: cookies which Hades loved to gems that Leo would create. Hades was the first to greet Leo when he died.
Hades agreed to help make the Academy, seeing it was a perfect way to get away from the underworld. Hades helped the bank workers make the fees and the other stores for what price the items it should be. Hades added a bit of his power to the force field. Max pulled out the paperwork for Hades to go over and sign. "The Academy is almost done, we just have to make the vail for when the demigods pass away, the vail will lead to the underworld when they walk through it. After that I already had some of my followers write the invitation to the parents of the Demigods about the Academy. The mortal parts will be allowed to visit their kids, write letters, and send gifts. When the Demigods arrive they will go to the Claiming Room, where I have a stone so that all they have to do is place their hand on the stone and the name of their Godly Sire will appear and the building where they will go, I will have one of my followers lead them to their room. It doesn't matter if the Gods are forced to claim their children, these children need a place where they are safe. I have the teachers ready for their new students to learn, they will get two weeks to get used to the campus, get their school supplies, the students will choose their classes, each class is divided by years. 7 years at the Academy, they choose if they want to leave or stay, they will have to get a part-time job though." Max said, making Hades grinned at the thought of some of the ideas. Hades saw the Academy, it was great looking at the shops that were getting done, the workers putting the touches that they needed, the bank workers found a huge mine filled with all types of metals, gems. Hades and the other rich Gods blessed the mine many times as they were looking at it with cash signs in their eyes. The bank gave each demigod their own bank card, they add a drop of blood to the card and the card locks on the blood, so only the demigod that blood matches can use the card. The goblins made sure that no one could fake blood. The card starts with $2,500 on it, two ways to earn money: get a part-time job or turn in all your work on time. "The parents of the demigods will accompany their child to go get their supplies, they will get a school uniform and p.e uniform. The children of Aphrodite will do p.e, the demigods who know Charmspeak will be given a bracelet to cancel their Charmspeak and a reason not to use their Charmspeak. There will be breaks where the demigods get to see their mortal parents, once a month the demigods will do a doctor's visit for their health. There will be detentions for the demigods who get in trouble, and trust me they will wish that they didn't get in trouble." Max said with a smile on his face making Death and Hades laugh.
Max ended the meeting, Death and Hades left after Hades signed the papers, Max wrote a letter to his followers to watch over his current family who was soaking up the attention of his parent's death, Max knew that his parents left everything they own to him, Max got everything but left the Gilbert house to his uncle Leo Gilbert who hated that his brother left nothing to him. Max left his home of Mystic Falls with everything that he now owns and now lives in New Mexico where Demi Academy was at. Max had Hephaestus with Hecate to make something to get the Demigods back and forth to the Academy. They created a bracelet like Protkey where all they have to say is the place where they wanted to go.
Max was in his office which was the Headmasters office, he had his black desk, file cabins, pictures of him when he was little, a perch for Charon who was sleeping, a bed for Trickster was who sleeping too, papers on his desk that was his welcoming speech, couches to lay on when he is tired, a flat-screen tv. Max found a way for the demigod's scent to go away, a bracelet with ashes of a Grim Reaper, and there no monster would attack.
Each room for the demigods will fit two demigods, boys will go with boys, the girl will go with girls, a strict curfew, Max's followers patrolling the campus in case kids are late for class or sneaking around, each room has one t.v stand, desk, a closet for each student, a bed for each student, one mini fridge for each demigod, one widow, outlets for their electronics.
Each classroom will hold 60 students, the dorms have showers for girls and boys, the girl's showers will be locked to any boy demigods who wants to enter, there will a shower for transgender demigods, a dorm just for transgender demigods, bathrooms will be cleaned after everyone is done using them, the classes will be passed out to the dorms or emailed to the demigods, a map will be in every dorm room. The locker rooms hold showers for the demigods, girls one the right, boys on the left, trans in the middle.
Max was going over the final paperwork for the academy. There was a knock on the door. "Come in," Max said, filing the paper away and looking to see who knocked. A woman with red hair and brown eyes wearing a silver short sleeve shirt and blue with black boots entered. This is Erza Scarlet, the sword instructor at the Academy, one of Max's childhood friends and right-woman for his followers. Max's followers were created when Max was Aries, each follower has a mark of one of the zodiacs either on their shoulders or the hands, each follower has their own job, Erza's was to be Max's right hand.
It was a tearful reunion of Max and his followers who asked Gaea to become vampires to find and serve Aries's doppelgangers, Gaea granted their wish, Erza was one of the first of Aries's followers, she gave out orders to the followers who agreed. The inner-circle called themselves the Zodiacs, the outer circle called themselves the Celestial Spirits seeing as their code names are named after stars except for the Zodiacs.
Erza or Libra watched her leader's current doppelganger got out of his chair. Max was wearing a black dress that stopped at his knees, his black hair past his shoulders, purple eyes sparkling with happiness, his red cloak flowing softly on him, black heels, and only light color lip gloss. Max and Libra walk to the Staff Meeting room where they are going to hold their first meeting, seeing as the starts tomorrow, thousands of demigods have already arrived, settling in their dorms, getting their school supplies.
Max and Libra entered the staff meeting room, seeing all the staff present made Max smile softly at them, Libra pulled out Max's chair who nodded at her. "Tomorrow will be a little chaotic, I will like for you to get to know your students. I like for there to be no fighting or a lot of demigods to be in my office. With that, the meeting has ended. If any student stood out to you, please approach them. Once a month we will meet up for a meeting for review. Now go prepare your class." Max said, dismissing his staff who all bowed and left, leaving Max and Libra to walk around the campus to the horse stables, for Max to visit an old friend.
Max and Libra arrived at the stables to see a young demigod staring at Max's horse. Max's horse was a beautiful black stallion with silver hair and soft red eyes, his name was Belphegor. Belphegor or Bel for short saw his old friend and neighed at them. Max giggled softly as the young demigod jumped in short and turned to see the Headmaster or rather Headmistress, seeing as the Headmaster doesn't mind being called Headmistress or Aunty to the younger kids. Max doesn't mind being called Aunty by the demigods. "Hello, little one. What brings you here?" Max said softly to the young demigod. The demigod was the son of Isis who was a friend of Sirzechs when Max was him. "Ammon, right?" Max said to Ammon who nodded. "You like Bel, don't you?" Max said softly to Ammon who nodded. "Yeah. He is a good listener. How do you know Bel?" Ammon said to Max who smiled and waved his hand and a bench appeared. Ammon and Max both sat on it, Bel laid his head on Max's lap as Max began to pet. "Bel is an old friend of mine. But I believe that Bel has a gift for you, Ammon." Max said to Ammon as Bel lifted his head and left, he came back with a baby horse that looked like him. Ammon gasped as the colt stood in front of him. "Bel would love for you to look over his son. Take good care of him, Ammon?" Max said to Ammon who smiled widely at Max and nodded.
Max spent the afternoon talking to Bel. Bel was a gift to Aries from Silas, Aries fell in love with Bel at first sight. Max left Bel who was talking a nap in the shade with Libra who visited her own horse. They walked through the town that Max created looking at the demigods who were getting their supplies, going shopping, finding jobs. Max smiled as one of his goals came true.
37 years have passed. Max was looking like a 16-year-old girl with his black hair that reaches his mid-back, his purple eyes still shining, wearing a black dress that stops at his knees with black fish-net stockings, his dress has white buttons, short sleeves, fishnet gloves, black high heels, his red cloak on his shoulder floating softly behind him, Max wore no make-up expect light lip gloss that made his lips shine. Max knew he became immortal after saving one of the younger demigods who was 7 years old from an attack by a dangerous drunk mortal parent. Mateo became one of Max's followers in order to repay Max from saving his life, Libra was picked to train Mateo who had the same magic as Libra. Libra was happy seeing as she got herself an apprentice. Mateo's Godly parent of the Norse Underworld, Hel granted Max immortally who accepted it.
The past 37 years have been great for the Demi Academy, Max was worried about the Greek and Roman Demigods would fight each other, but it didn't happen. All the demigods loved the Academy, some of the older demigods who no longer go to school are either working a full-time job, finding other demigods and bringing them back or working in the Academy. Max was in his office gently petting a kitten who was snuggling with Max, Max was sitting in his chair with Trickster on his right shoulder and Charon on his left. On top of Max was three books label, Aries, Leo Petrova, Sirzechs Petrova each book was written by Apollo, an old friend of Sirzechs. Kneeling down in front of Max was two members of his inner circle: Gemini, the Twins.
"I want the two of you to deliver the books to Dionysus. Tell him it's time." Max said softly to his followers who nodded and vanished. Max stood up from his chair still holding the kitten who was now purring. Max walked out of his office to see the kitten's owner waiting for him, Max carefully passed the kitten back and told the demigod how to take care of the kitten, the demigod nodded and left. There have been many quests that have been handed out to the students. Only 150 demigods had passed, Max and the other demigods mourned for them. Max walked out of his academy and was surrounded by the members of Zodiac who weren't given a task yet. One of the Zodiacs finally found the island where Silas lies on, Max ordered Pisces to go hunt down the people for the awakening of Silas.
Max was on the boat that was created for the trip, Max was sitting in a beach chair, wearing a black sundress with sunglasses on, a blood lollipop in his mouth. Max looked up to see 1 new face, one of his followers gave Max his cloak which floated on Max. Max walked over to the teenagers. "Hello, young ones," Max said to the eight greek demigods and the three roman demigods and oracles. "Who are you?" one of the greek demigods said to Max who looked at the demigod with black hair and sea blue eyes in his hands were the books. "My name is Max. I went by three names in my past life though." Max said to the demigods who looked confused until the demigod who was holding the books gasped.
"Your, Aries' final doppelganger!" the boy said to Max who nodded. After Max got their names, he explained what had happened with Silas.
"It began 2000 years ago in ancient Greece, I was born into a group of travelers who chose to stay in Greece. I was born into a wonderful family, my mother was a healer, my father would sell fabric, my older sister was a handmaiden to a queen, she wasn't always home. My sister Amara named me Aries. The Petrova Family was a family known for our beauty, to some of us it was a blessing, to others it was a curse. Some of the families, children including me would cover our bodies with cloaks," Max paused while looking at his lap while the demigods were sitting around him listening to his story as Aries, the book didn't fully tell them what happen, Hazel and Piper were imaging children being covered from head to toe in fabric to hide their beauty. "I was 5 years old when my father created me a red cloak, my magic made the cloak come to life. Whenever I went outside wearing my red cloak, people would call me μικρό κόκκινο, wherever I went." Max paused smiling as his cloak rubbed itself on him, making some of the other demigods smiles or be in shock. "One day when I was walking through the woods, I heard someone crying so I followed the sound and found a baby monkey crying in pain. I gently picked up the monkey and took him home to get healed. After two weeks of healing, when I went to release the monkey back into the woods he didn't want to leave, I asked my mother if I can keep the monkey since I was lonely without Arama who would only visit for 3 days a month, my mother agreed so I chose the name Trickster because he would always play tricks on people." Max paused again as Trickster nodded drinking a banana milkshake, making Grover smile at the bond between Trickster and Max. Grover grew up listening to the legends of Aries and his connection with animals. "I was 16 when I met Silas, he was injured in the woods. Silas knew magic but not healing magic. I was in the woods looking for some herbs that I needed to heal an old neighbor of mine. I healed Silas not knowing that Silas was the king's son. Silas was a very powerful witch paired with Qetsiyah, his fiance. After I was done healing Silas, I left not knowing that he got a good look at my face. What both Silas and I didn't know was that Fate declared us soulmates, seeing as our fates were connected. Two days later, a man from the King came knocking on my door, the man told my family that the Prince appointed me his personal healer, I agreed to tell my family that I will send letters and gifts. My parents told me that they were proud of me. Imagine my surprise to see the boy who I healed in the woods the Prince. I was given a huge room, shelves that I filled with herbs, books filled with notes, jars filled with medicine. Every day I would make a list of herbs that I had or didn't and count how many I have or need. Silas would always visit me whenever he was injured, it was the smallest cut to a broken bone. I had books filled with every time he visited me." Max paused giggling softly at the thought of Silas running in his healing room with a paper cut. The female demigods thought of their loved ones going to the infirmary for a papercut, the male demigods blushed. "Silas would always give me gifts whenever he can. Charon was the first gift. Next it was flowers, jewelry, bags of gems, new herbs, books for me to read. The last gift he gave to me was a beautiful stallion who I named Belphegor or Bel for short." Max said with a smile as he thought of Bel who is probably sleeping in the shade now. "Silas and I started seeing each other when I turned 17 years old and he was 19 years old, we were sleeping with each other when I turned 18 years. However we found out that Qetsiyah was visiting. Qetsiyah was Silas's fiance, who Silas hated, she was too clingy. Qetsiyah was a powerful witch but she turned her back on the old magic ways, she would kill werewolves to her it didn't matter how old they were to her they were just beasts." Max paused and looked at the sea as his thought of the pups and cubs they had to bury, how Silas held him in his arms crying at the dead bodies. The demigods were saddened at the thought of killing werewolves, adults, and children too. "Silas gave me a red cloth to cover my face so when you would see me you would only see my eyes. The day Qetsiyah came she brought her handmaid who was my sister Amara. Arama loved the fact that she was beautiful, having everyone look at her, being the center of their attention. Even though Amara was my sister, she hated the fact I was more beautiful than her, Amara was 15 when she got her cloak. I was ten years younger than her. Amara saw Silas and decided to keep him all to herself. When Silas was walking to my room he passed by the gardens, Amara was there and used her magic and placed a spell on him. Whenever Silas looked at Amara he would see me and when he looked at me he would see Amara." Max paused and a tear fell from his eye. "I was saddened that Silas was tricked by Amara. Silas managed to trick Qetsiyah to create the Immortality Spell thinking that Silas wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Qetsiyah murdered Amara after finding out that she and Silas were sneaking around what she didn't know that her magic created and cast the Doppelganger spell on both me and Amara. Silas was in the woods waiting for Amara so that he could cast the spell on her, he already cast the spell on himself. Qetsiyah used her magic for Silas to go in a blood rage. Silas became the first tribrid: Vampire, Wolf, Witch. I was in the woods after getting a note from Silas to meet with him. I didn't know that the notes were written by Qetsiyah. I had gotten a cut from rock, Silas smelled the scent of my blood and came running towards me. Silas drained me of my blood, I was in his arms looking at while bleeding from my neck. The spell that Amara cast came off. Silas was horrified, My last words to him were: Maybe in my next life will be together. I love and forgive you Silas. Silas left to go kill Qetsiyah, my body was taken by Death. Trickster left watching over my family, Charon passed waiting to be reborn again. Silas killed Qetsiyah, her followers locked Silas in an island to be hidden away." Max finished his story and left the demigods thinking of his tale.
"Aries went through so much, betrayed by his own sister." Rachel said imaging all the pain that Aries went through.
Max was now dressed in a black toga with gold pins, his red cloak on with the hood up, Silas red cloth covering his lower face, with black sandals, his silver cuffs. Max walked out of his room to see the Zodiacs waiting for him. "We have arrived at the island, my lord," Leo said to Max who nodded and walked to the dock with the Zodiacs who formed a circle around him while the demigods were talking to Trickster with Gover translating for him.
"The Zodiacs were created from the first 12 followers of Aries when he was alive when Aries died his followers asked Gaea who favored Aries because his magic would always talk to her while she slept, his followers asked Gaea to make them into vampires, their wish was granted. Aries's followers always watched over Aries's family waiting for him to come back. The Zodiacs were Aries's inner circle while the Celestial Spirits were his outer circle. Aries's followers would find and hide away the things that Aries doppelgangers owned for the final doppelganger to find them." Gover translated what Trickster said to the demigods.
"We have arrived," Virgo said to the demigods who looked at the Zodiacs surrounding Max was wearing his cloak with his hood up and red cloth covering his lower face so you only see his purple eyes.
It took 5 hours to find Silas's tomb, Max used his magic to light up the troches. The demigods held their weapons in their hands standing in pairs standing at the entrances of the tomb watching as Max as he was talking in ancient greek to a man wearing greek robes that were grey, the man has brown hair with green eyes that were filled with regret. "(My love, it wasn't your fault. Amara's fault.)" Max said softly in ancient greek to the man. "(I know my love, but I can't forgive myself for killing you.)" the man said back to Max who sighed. "(Silas, I promise you that Amara and Qetsiyah will pay for what they have done,)" Max said to Silas who looked back at Max who had hope in his eyes, Silas nodded his head and left. "Even after these years he still feels guilt," Max said softly to himself. Max summoned a ring that Silas made for him when he was Aries.
Max looked up from his ring hand to see the Zodiacs with people in their arms, Katerina and Rebekah looked at Max in shock as Max took off his hood and red cloth revealing his face. "Hello Katerina," Max said to Katerina who was still in shock. "Who are you?" Damon Salvatore said to Max who smiled at him. "My name is Max Gilbert, Son of Jon and Andy Gilbert. Elena and Jeremy Gilbert's Great Grand Uncle. The Last Doppelganger of Aries Petrova." Max said, making the people shocked. "Aries only had three doppelgangers: Leo Petrova who was Tatia's younger brother and Sirzechs Petrova who was the younger brother of Katerina. And finally me Max Gilbert, I was lucky to be born without an older sister. When I was Leo, I died with Henrick, when I was Sirzechs, Katerina compels me to use my magic to look like her for Klaus to break his curse, I died while Katerina fled back home." Max said looking at Katerina who flinched. Max gestured to the chuffs on the walls the Zodiacs cuffed the people. Max looked at Rebekah who had tears in her eyes, he knew that she wanted to have children again. Max walked to Rebekah and pulled out a vial filled with liquid. Max gave the vial to Rebekah who held it with caution. "Drink that and you'll have children again. Tell your brothers I said hello." Max said to Rebekah who drank the vial and left. Max looked at Bonnie who was trying to use her magic on him. "That won't work, little witch. You are trying to harm me with magic but your magic is actually shielding me." Max said with a smile on his face and touched Bonnie's head and she began to scream as her magic began to her hurt. Bonnie soon stopped screaming and was panting heavily. "What did you do?" Elena shouted to Max who smiled at her. "I locked her magic, she can still feel her magic but she can't use it. Bonnie is going to become the veil, every time a supernatural creature dies they will have to pass through Bonnie." Max said as Gemini removed Bonnie and placed her next to the statue of Amara. Bonnie was turning into stone as Amara was destoned. Amara fell to the ground, Charon flew into the room and landed on Amara and flamed away to the underworld. Leo and Libra removed the top of Silas's tomb to see Silas's skeleton, Virgo grabbed Jeremy who tried to fight off, Max grabbed Jeremy's wrist and placed it above Silas's mouth. "(Drink my love.)" Max said softly to Silas and he began to drink, Jeremy screamed as Silas began to drain him of his blood. Gemini removed Jeremy when Silas was getting out of his tomb and finished off Jeremy.
Silas let Jeremy fall to the ground, Silas looked the same as Silas over 2000 years ago, the same Silas who Aries fell in love with. Silas looked at Max who he knew was Aries's last doppelganger. Silas walked over to Max who looked at Silas who moved Max's hair and tucked it behind his left ear. Max pulled Silas towards him to give him a kiss. They pulled away after a couple of minutes. Gemini brought Katerina to Silas who looked at her in disgust. Max burnt Jeremy's body. "How come you're not in pain?" Damon said to Max who smirked a bit at him. "Silas created the hunters before he became immortal. Silas is yours and Stefan's ancestor. Silas made sure that the hunter's curse doesn't affect me." Max said as Silas began to drain Katerina of her blood. "(I trusted Katerina and forced me to die.)" Max said in Bulgarian to Katerina. "(I didn't want you to be sad when I was dead.)"
