A/N: KawaiiCutie12: That's true. I'm sure Simba would accept him back too. But we'll see if he actually does though because Simba in this story is not friendly to rogues.

Anyways, here is Chapter 34 for you all! As always, go to Chapter 1 for disclaimers. Without further or do, here is Chapter 34.

"I'm going back home." - Chaka

Chapter 34: The Response

Chaka and Nala waited anxiously and nervously for Simba to answer. "Welcome back Chaka," Simba said with a smile, causing Chaka's eyes to go wide in shock.

"Wait you're accepting me back to the Pride Lands?" Chaka asked, still shocked at what his older cousin said.

"You were never exiled from here," Simba said. "Afterall it was my uncle that caused you to leave in the first place. The same for your brother. I am more than willing to accept you back to the Pride Lands because you belong here."

"Are you being for real now King Simba?" Chaka asked, eyeing his cousin to see if he's lying.

"I am being for real Chaka," Simba said. "And there's no need to call me King Simba. Just call me Simba. You are family now Chaka."

"Well eh..." Chaka began. But before he could continue he felt his mother embrace him, causing him to wrap a foreleg around her. "Thank you Simba," he said with a smile after a minute.

"Your welcome Chaka," Simba said with a smile.

"Where's my brother?" Chaka asked after a minute. "I want to speak to him."

"He's in the royal cave with his sisters," Simba informed Chaka.

"Take me there," Chaka said firmly. "I want to have a serious talk with my brother." Simba nodded and headed back to Pride Rock with Nala and Chaka right behind him.

As Simba, Nala, and Chaka were heading back to Pride Rock, they ran into Aisha, who was walking alone. "Oh hey, mom. Hey dad. Hey Chaka," Aisha said with a smile.

"Hi sweetheart," Nala said with a smile, nuzzling her daughter.

"Hello Aisha," Simba said with a smile.

"Hey Aisha," Chaka said with a smile.

"Hello big brother," Aisha said, returning the smile. "I see you're now apart of the pride now."

"Yes," Chaka replied, still smiling. "I'm now apart of the pride."

"Well I'm glad to hear that," Aisha said. "Kopa will be happy to hear you're accepted back into the Pride."

"Speaking of Kopa," Chaka said. "Where is he at? I want to talk to him."

"He's at the royal cave sleeping with Kali and Kiara," Aisha informed her older half-brother. "He's still pretty tired."

"Oh," Chaka said. "So I guess I'll talk to him later."

"Hey, wouldn't you mind if we could spend the rest of the morning together to catch up?" Aisha asked.

"Yeah sure," Chaka said with a shrug. Then he turned to his mother and cousin and said, "If that's okay with you guys. I won't harm Aisha."

"Of course you can honey," Nala said, nuzzling her oldest boy. "She's your sister. And I know you wouldn't harm her."

"Thank you, mom," Chaka said with a smile. Then he looked at his older cousin and said, "And mostly thank you to you too Simba."

"Your welcome Chaka," Simba said with a smile. With that, Aisha and Chaka then went off to catch up.

Three hours later Aisha and Chaka had finished walking and decided to stay at the main watering hole. "I'm glad that we talked together," Aisha said.

"I agree," Chaka said, smiling at his younger half-sister. "I'm most certainly glad to hear that I have sisters."

"Well I'm glad that you do," Aisha said, smiling back.

"You know," Chaka said. "You remind so much of mom. I don't know why though you just do."

"That's what Kopa says to me too," Aisha said, remembering how Kopa would tell her how she reminded him of their mother. "I think it's maybe because I look a lot like mom."

"You most certainly do Aisha," Chaka said. "You do look like mom. The only difference is you have a golden coat. While mom on the other hand has a creamy-coat like Kopa."

"Yeah that's true," Aisha said with a sigh.

"Do you get offended by this?" Chaka asked.

"No not really," Aisha said. "Some kids can look like their parents."

"That's very true," Chaka said. "I look nothing like my father. My older half-brother, Damu would tell me I look a lot like my grandfather, Mom's father."

"Hmmm I wonder what Grandma Sarafina must have told you before she passed away," Aisha said.

"She passed away?" Chaka asked, his eyes wide as he felt tears form in his eyes.

"Yes," Aisha said sadly. "Grandma Sarabi and Grandma Sarafina both passed away a month ago after Kiara's presentation."

"Oh," Chaka said sadly, immediately grieving for his aunt and his grandmother's passing. "I wish I could have come sooner to say goodbye to them."

"Oh Chaka," Aisha said, putting a foreleg around her older half-brother. "You couldn't come back because you were just so scared. I understand why you couldn't come back sooner. Dad can be very strict in his rules. So I completely understand why you couldn't come back sooner."

"I know," Chaka said with a shaky sigh. "I just wish I wasn't so paranoid. I wish..." But before Chaka could continue Zazu came flying towards Aisha and Chaka.

"Ah there you are Chaka," the hornbill said. "Simba told me to come and fetch you. Your brother is awake. He's in the royal cave wanting to see you."

"Perfect," Chaka said with a grin. "Now this is the perfect time to get him back."

"Get him back for what?" Aisha asked with confusion.

"You'll see," Chaka said, still grinning. "Come." With that, Chaka followed Zazu back to Pride Rock with Aisha right behind them.

A few minutes later Aisha and Chaka returned to Pride Rock where the lionesses were preparing for the morning hunt. Chaka then entered the royal cave where Kopa was not facing Chaka. "Kopa," Chaka said with an even tone. Kopa spun around to see Chaka standing there.

"You wanted to talk to me right?" Kopa asked. "Because mom told me that you wanted to talk to me when I woke up."

"Yes I did," Chaka said, again with an even tone. "In fact, I want to talk about something very serious."

"What is it?" Kopa asked, dreading what the question might be.

"Well you should know what I am talking about," Chaka said, playing around with his brother.

"I actually don't," Kopa said with confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"The fact that you said my name in front of mom when I told you not to," Chaka said evenly, still playing around with his brother.

"Why do you want to talk about that now?" Kopa asked. "I already told you I was sorry for saying it out loud."

"Because," Chaka began. Then suddenly, Chaka embraced Kopa, catching Kopa by surprise. "Thank you, Kopa," Chaka whispered in Kopa's ear as he continued to embrace him.

"Wait what?" Kopa said the confusion clear in his voice. "I'm confused right.." But Kopa was cut off by Chaka once again whispering in his ear saying, "I don't want to hear a word, Kopa." That caused Kopa to shut his mouth as Chaka continued embracing him. Kopa then felt tears go into his fur, but he ignored it by embracing his brother back. Then after embracing each other for a while they let go and decided to catch up.

A/N: Oh boy Chaka was really playing around with his brother wasn't he? And yes finally, Chaka is finally back where he belongs! Just to note that the next chapter will be the final chapter. The sequel will come very soon. So lookout for it.

Anyways, that is it for Chapter 34! See you all later in the final chapter of the first installment!
