"...the last of my blood …was slain here…. you know the Uchiha's didn't get a funeral. They didn't get a proper burial… no one cried for them. Except for me. And it still hurts. Hinata looked up to the sky as she took in his words. She then noticed the four tigers looking back at her.

"He's right mistress. Something is coming…and we don't know what. But it is our duty...to not only protect you but to help revive the tiger clan and you are the key to that." Akira stated

"So what then Sasuke? Am I supposed to go back home and sit back like a damsel in distress while her husband fights?"

Sasuke stood and brought her close to him.

"you're not weak Kireina tora ojo… you and I both know that. but in order for us to live our lives…and be who we need to be...sacrifices need to be made. So, please ...humor me. I'm committed to Konoha for two years. And two years only. But you. you will always come first."

"fine…but you must be there for the birth of our children," Hinata stated as she laid her ear over her husband's heart.

"you have my word. I wouldn't miss it for the world." He told her.

Onoki and kyouki looked at Sasuke like he was crazy.

"Why are you letting her leave!?" onoki yelled

"and why did she agree?" kyouki asked coolly

Sasuke rolled his eyes and said "my wife and I are targets. Let's just be honest. We have connections to three of the five great nations. Not forgetting that people want my head. So why include my wife who is not only bearing the last of the Uchiha but is the head and leader of the tiger clan. If that gets out where all in trouble. Besides the rebel forces have been increasing on the borders. With the chunin exams and the Kage summit, somethings bound to happen, and I won't have her in the midst of it."

Kyouki sighed "… I guess I can understand why…but I don't have to like it."

Naruto stood on the Hokage monument as his thoughts consumed him. Sakura stood next to him wondering why he called her.

"sakura…why do you love Sasuke?"

Sakura for once was out of words. After a moment of hesitation, she spoke:

"he's handsome, he's strong…"

That was all she could say.

"exactly. Everything you just described was basic. Do you even know his likes and dislikes? His favorite color?"

"what does it matter. I love him. and you love Hinata…so what's the point?" sakura asked

Naruto rolled his eyes and looked out at the village.

"The point is… you don't love Sasuke and I don't love Hinata. I never did. I ...loved you and you always knew that. but I was never good enough for you and you were never good enough for Sasuke. We were just attracted to what we thought we wanted. And in reality it's not about us being good enough it was about us just not being the right match. Look sakura, what I'm trying to say is…sasuke is our friend and so is Hinata…so I think we should just...let them go. Because all we're doing now is hurting them."

"…you stopped loving me too huh?" sakura asked him

"..ill always love you in some way…just not like before. You're my teammate and we both have bonds to maintain. Besides as future Hokage I can't break those bonds. Especially not with the Uchiha clan."

"don't expect anything overnight. I'm still going to try to win him back." Sakura urged

Naruto pulled at his hair. she just wasn't getting it.

"damn it sakura! Just leave it alone! That's a family your trying to ruin! my god kids' lives are at risk here! Don't you care in the least about the children's lives you're trying to harm!?"

"arrghh Naruto just shut up already! It's the same damn argument every time!"

Naruto shook his head. She would never understand.

But He did. They made him the godfather of their children. Him…Naruto Uzumaki…a godfather. Someone Sasuke's kids would look up too and need. He would not fail them.

Two weeks later:

Tsunade looked at the Uchiha and shinobi before her.

"what makes you think were being threatened?" Tsunade asked

Sasuke rolled his eyes and motioned for Shikamaru to explain again.

"lady tsundae. We believe that the rebel forces are going to attack Konoha. From our observations they are getting too close to the border and its not like we kept it a secret that the five kage summit was happening alongside the chunnin exams. Too many powerful people in one country. Too many loopholes."

"and why are you suddenly concerned about this? Is this some plot Uchiha?! Why not tell us this at the beginning!" Tsunade yelled

Shikamaru, Neji, and Sasuke stood before her. How had she not thought this though!? How had she not seen this? This had to be some kind of trick.

"because we thought that was something you all could handle! but I guess not! Everyone seems to think that just because the war is over that there are no consequences! And were slacking off! And because of that there is a rebel army preparing its way to Konoha! So I suggest you get off your ass and do something about it!" Sasuke yelled back

Tsunade stood up and rushed towards him, however in a puff of smoke Kakashi and a few anbu appeared in the room.

"LADY TSUNADE THERS AN ARMY ON THE DOORSTEP!"

"CRAP! You see I told you!" Sasuke hissed "Shikamaru! Neji! plan A go!"

With nods of their head Shikamaru and Neji disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Lady Tsunade gather the other kages… and get your men down to the gates!" Sasuke ordered

He knew any other time she would have his ass but now was not it.

"Where's Naruto!?" Tsunade asked as they headed to the rooftop and sent out slugs to find the other kages

"...naruto's on a special mission," Sasuke told her as he summoned garuda.

Before she could ask, the rest of the kages showed up. All of their bodyguards with them.

"How the hell did this happen Tsunade?" the raikage asked

"We've been ambushed." She stated bitterly

"and how do we know they are not with Sasuke? How do we not know this is some kind of sick trick." the mizukage asked?

Before anyone could answer or agree. Shikamaru appeared with Akira by his side.

"Sasuke! The Konoha eleven are centered and stationed. Along with some Anbu."

"good, Akira are Hinata and her escorts safely away?" he asked

"Hai. They should be approaching the land of stone as we speak."

The sound of an explosion rung in the distance.

"Sasuke! The traps have been triggered!" a voice shouted said from the sky

All eyes looked up to see sai on his ink drawn bird.

"hey, kages. I have a request." Sasuke began as he sprung unto garuda's back.

"what is it Uchiha...,?" Gaara asked

"If I wipeout these rebels in one blow. I no longer owe any of you anything. I get to go home."

"no room for an argument. It's a deal." Onoki said cheerfully. He honestly didn't care. Sasuke was a part of his family regardless.

Naruto, Hanabi, ko and Tenten looked at Hinata in confusion.

"Uhm hinata...no offense but you know that's just a boulder?" Naruto asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

However, a reply could not be given because arrows flew past their heads, and six women along with one male appeared. They surrounded the group.

"Who are you and how did you get here! you have five seconds before I slice your heads off."

Hinata whose masked covered face had been facing the boulder swiftly turned around

"shinku…" she called softly

"ah! My lady! Y-you're here!" he exclaimed in relief

Hinata let out a small chuckle and then placed her hand on the boulder. Activating the seal which made the boulder split in two and opens. On the other side was a waterfall.

"come."

The group followed in awe but was even more shocked when they saw what was behind it.

"Welcome to the village hidden in the mountains."

Suddenly a loud explosion went off and the whole group was thrown in different directions.

Naruto yelled as he stood up. The sound of the explosion still ringing in his ears.

People were running and screaming. He couldn't feel Hinata nor her chakra.

"crap!" looking around he sent out clones to find the others and mainly find Hinata.

Something had gone terribly wrong.

Nagisa laid on the ground as aki licked the wound clean.

"aki! Leave me! You have to warn lord Sasuke! We've been betrayed... I'll be fine! Just go! Please go!"

Aki whimpered but did as told.

Nagisa looked over to where Tamaki was down. He would survive. He had to. They all had to.

"lady hinata…I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"are you going to give up that easily?" Tamaki coughed

Nagisa looked at him and saw the light in his eyes.

"we cannot give up. Will not give up."

Hinata coughed and couldn't believe her eyes. Her home. Her village. Her people. Something like ...lighting shot through her veins. History was trying to repeat itself. She wouldn't let that happen.

With her eyes activated and ready she activated her chakra and pressed down on the ground. Hard.

This activated the seal to freeze every nonperson that was not of her blood. That was not apart of her clan.

This made it easy to pinpoint who was hurting her people and then she saw it.

Saw him.

Suno.

The rebels were all wiped away. Ibiki and the interrogation squad took the ring leaders and dragged them away. Shikamaru and neji alongside ino were scouting the area, so why did Sasuke feel like it wasn't over…? Something was wrong…something was terribly wrong.

"master!" a voice called

Sasuke looked over to see Tamaki racing towards him.

"it's the village. lady Hinata! There is trouble!"
