Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait. One of my exams that was postponed due to COVID came back to haunt me so had to study long and hard for that. And then I needed time to come up with scenes.

Guadadominguez4: Oh my God, you won't believe how many times I read your first review and laughed at it. Perfect! You know why, because I was waiting for you to respond. I wanted to see your reaction to the smut. I'm satisfied. I'm glad you're elated too. Yeah lmao it only took 32 chapters to get there. Yeah, there may or may not be more scenes, but they'll mostly be short or who knows—it depends on my mood tbh lol. Sorry, i'm just tired all the time from clinic/work and skool so I tend to get lazy. Thanks for the review!

Chapter 35: Forgotten Traumas
Illumi hungrily pressed his lips on to the teen's, always making it seem like it was the first time for them. The elder never got tired of their intimate contacts. Meanwhile, Killua didn't hate kissing, it was benign, clean (most of the times) and short but savoring. However, there were times when his passion couldn't come close to Illumi's such as right now where his brother was sucking the life out of him.
"Ani-aniki—mh!"
"Kiru." The ravenette barely muttered as he parted for air which he didn't even need.
"Enough." Kiru grabbed the other's face with a single hand over his mouth, pushing it away. "Can this not be the only thing you think about? Seriously. Don't you know how to spend time like normal people?"
"Normal? Isn't a bit too late for that." Illumi licked the other's hand without any hesitation as he watched the silverette draw it away with a grimace.
"Fair, but can't you at least try? I still consider myself pretty close to normal..."
"Hn." The elder scooted closer and wrapped his arms around the teen's waist, resting his face on his shoulder.
"Not listening." The teen was more than used to it by now and no longer felt an ounce of irritation. "Whatever."
Me: What's up?
Gon: uh...
Me: wut?
Gon: nothing, our gas heater just stopped working...
Me: bt its not that cold
Gon: i mean this is the one we use for cooking sometimes
Me: u use a heater as a stove... O_ o
Gon: yeah, u just plug the pipes to the stove and can use the gas for cooking.
Me: . - .
Me: anyways, so what's wrong with it again?
Gon: no clue...i'm not very techie
Me: want me to come over? I'm not doin anything anyway
Gon: sure!
End Chat.
Killua smiled at his device and was sure the other teen was smiling as well. 'Alright, lets get some fresh air.' He hopped up from the couch in one of the guest rooms and went to the foyer to grab his sneakers.
"Where are you going?" A stern voice spoke from behind him, leaning against the wall. Killua held back a startled look as he knelt on the floor. 'He must have been in the living room.'
"I'll be back in a bit."
"Where?"
"Out, duh."
"Out where, kiru?" Illumi's expression hadn't changed but his tone was harsher.
"Why are you asking?"
"Why aren't you answering?"
"Because. I don't want you tailing me. That's probably what you're planning right now aren't you?" Illumi didn't deny it at first.
"No, I won't. I assure you, 'cause you won't be going anywhere."
"Not this again. back off okay? I'm going." The silverette faced his back towards him as he tied his shoelaces. The elder stared at him before quietly glancing away and then back. "Anyway, I'm of—whoa!" Killua found himself levitating upside down as his older brother picked him up and threw him over his shoulder. "Let go! Illumi!"
"Kiru, you know you're not allowed to leave the house on your own accord." Illumi stated as a matter-of-fact.
"Ughhhh, then you wanna come with me? No, I take that back. I'll take one of the guards with me."
"No." His brother flatly answered as he carried him past the living room.
"What you actually wanna come then? And put me down!"
"No, as in you're not going anywhere."
The younger heaved a loud sigh. "I'm not arguing about this. Dad's already taking care of the Bauer's and I can handle anyone else that comes my way."
"I think you're mistaken Kiru, I wasn't asking."
"Dammit! Put me down right now! Don't think you can win like this! Illumi!"
"You can shout all you want Kiru. Kiru's voice is music to my ears anyway."
"Sick! Annoying! Lemme go!" The teen threw hard punches on the other's solid shoulders which hardly even provoked a flinch from the other. "Where are you taking me?!" Killua urgently inquired as they kept descending down the steps towards the basements.
"What the hell aniki?!" He cried out when Illumi dumped him on the floor of one of the sound proof rooms. The silverette glimpsed around warily. And not just any of the soundproof rooms. It was the one he once trained—or should he say was tortured in, with electric bolts.
"Seems familiar?" Illumi's even voice asked as he crossed his arms.
"You suck." Killua's brain already invaded with bits and pieces of the traumatizing memory, rendering a shiver down his spine. The ravenette didn't take any of the teen's insults to heart as he reached for a rope. He came from behind and tied his younger brother's arms and ankles. "Have you lost your mind!? Why are you tying me up!?"
"Isn't it obvious? We both know full well that Kiru won't simply sit still after making a decision. But I won't let you endanger yourself."
The teen clicked his tongue loudly. He had a point. It was either this, or he sneaks out from right under their noses. He glared at the elder who calmly stared him down. A good five minutes dragged on in the midst of their staring contest. "Stop staring at me! So how long do you plan to keep me here? Hm?" He shifted.
"As long as it takes."
"Admit it, you're probably just using this as an excuse to lock me up here forever!" Killua spat with venom. Illumi gave him no response but his countenance was eagerly agreeing unbeknownst to himself. The younger groaned at that.
Finally, the elder kneeled towards him and slipped his hands under the teen's shirt evoking a shudder. "what..."
"You said to stop staring." So Illumi resorted to kissing the younger's pale skin instead. Killua squirmed as his wrists were still tied behind his back while his older brother pecked at his chest.
"No...not fair..." But the elder blatantly ignored his protests. The teen fidgeted and attempted to kick the other, pushing him away. The silverette ended up falling to his side, ultimately on his stomach as he squirmed about. However, that didn't stop the elder who simply began worshipping the soft skin on Killua's lower back instead.
Meanwhile, the silverette's stomach churned as he faced the solid white wall in front of him. He was sensing a growing sense of deja vu. This room... this position... ugh, he felt like he was reliving that moment. The teen could already perceive the electricity on his skin again, the skin on his arms contracting on their own. He wouldn't have imagined the memories were so painful or unsettling considering how far he'd come.
"Don't... aniki..." Killua was panting hard and barely able to keep his breath in a steady rhythm. Illumi caught on the distress and changed his position immediately, sitting him up again and wrapping his arms around his head.
"Kiru." The ravenette combed the other's hair with his fingers to give him peace of mind. Killua didn't respond and only nuzzled against the other's chest.
"Take me out of here."
"...fine."
Killua never ended up going to Gon's and texted him an apology. As revenge the silverette sneaked into Illumi's room instead. He stood in the middle of the dark space, glancing around for anything worth disrupting but couldn't find something valuable. The elder's drawers were locked and there was no such treasure under the bed.
Though, his eyes would soon travel to the small door embedded in the far left of Illumi's walls. He remembered seeing that old door multiple times, most of the time not paying attention to it, but the chains and huge lock on it always stood out to him. Illumi also always avoided talking about it, which was now piquing his interest gravely. Killua took the audacity to break the century old lock like nothing and peered into the other side of the door like he owned the place. Illumi was wrapped up in a meeting with father, so that gave him plenty of time to explore. The other side was pitch black for the most part, the only light coming in, being the one from the ravenette's room.
He was surprised to find a cemented staircase leading down in the abyss. How many basements could one manor have? Geez. And here he was thinking it would be a safe or storage space especially since he had to bend down to get through the door and the first few steps. The teen kept the door open and soon noticed a candle stand on the wall to his left. The stairs had no railing whatsoever on the other side so he had been using the wall as support. The teen immediately lit the candle up and used it to guide him the rest of the way down. It was spacious, and he no longer needed to arch forward, but it was also so eerie, cold and dead silent.
As he climbed down, he glanced at the base of the place, which was a circular space, not small but not huge. He'd estimate about 20 feet all around. There was a broken cage on the ground, with a couple of bones decomposing, some pieces of metal, darts, a needle, and was that dried blood?
"What the..." Killua was appalled to say the least. What was this place? From the looks of it, he would presume it was a training place for... Illumi? But why create a separate dungeon like this when they had two basements, multiple rooms with equipment and state of the art training facilities. When exactly did Illumi train here... It was in Illumi's room, so it had to be his, right? Killua continued to gaze around like some tourist even if there wasn't much to see—literally. The place had a chilly air to it that made the teen stay on guard even though it had no windows or vents.
"Kiru?" The voice made him jump out of his socks. He turned his head up to register Illumi poking his head through the small wooden door. Killua had no sense of time down there but he must have been gawking for a long time if Illumi was finished already.
"Aniki..." 'Aw crap! Busted! No, wait this was supposed to be revenge.' "I don't regret opening it. You never talk anyway so I took the courtesy to..."
"I don't care Kiru. Come up, dinner is ready." Illumi said surprisingly calmly, not fazed by the younger's intrusion. However, the elder's biggest mistake would be entering the long-forgotten place. He stepped down the stairs as the silverette climbed upwards and met him halfway. "Careful." The ravenette ushered, gaze inevitably falling on the rest of the space. Some subconscious part of him twisted uncomfortably inside but as usual he pushed back any whelming emotion. There was also a new profound ringing in his ears, that felt very familiar yet foreign.
By the time he made it up the stairs to his room, the needle master was silently bombarded with segments of forgotten memories and impending nausea. Unknown to Killua, Illumi's features were now contorted for a change, almost as if he was fighting some inner conflict without even fighting it.
"Yo?" The silverette caught his attention when he stopped dead at the foot of the cryptic door. Illumi turned to him with a troubled unreadable expression at first but his eyes soon grew unrealistically wide as he stared straight at Kiru. "Um, you okay—ack!?" The teen never processed the hand that was on his throat in an instant, choking him violently as it raised him off three feet off the ground. "Kagh!—aa...aniki?!" Killua gripped and punched the other's wrist attempting to loosen his grip, mind utterly bewildered at this psychotic episode. "Aniki! Snap, hah, out of it!" The teen screamed at the top of his lungs, conscious now floating under Illumi's death grip. He couldn't get to him, not when the elder's eyes looked stone cold, lifeless and completely hypnotized.
"Illu-chan!" Their mother ran into the room along with Milluki right behind her, pulling the two apart.
"Niisama, what are you doing?" Even Milluki was alarmed at the elder's absurd unrelenting behavior. Killua held his throat, bruises forming as he stood in his mother's protective embrace. Meanwhile Milluki clutched Illumi by the arm and shook him back to reality. The raven haired blinked, taking the scene before him, and slowly recalling his actions. There was cold sweat forming on his forehead and his eyes bulged once more as he processed what he had almost accomplished.
Illumi unconsciously took a step forward when he saw his brother in a coughing fit but his mother shielded the younger.
"Maybe you should clear your head." Milluki harmlessly advised. "I don't know what's gotten into you, but perhaps you could do some fresh air." Illumi listlessly obliged against his will, but for Killua's sake.
"Aw, don't hate your brother Kil." Kikyo rubbed the teen's back.
"I know." The silverette's replied on edge. In truth he wasn't angry at his brother at all. He was a thousand percent sure there was a reason behind that. 'That wasn't Illumi...' Because usually Illumi's eyes were hollow, but that time they were lost, dead, not even present in the moment.
That next morning Illumi waited outside Kiru's door, very hesitant to simply waltz right in like he normally did. The silverette walked out and was stunned to see the elder strictly standing there.
"Is it safe around you now?" The younger teen joked, planting his hands on his hips. At the same time, the raven haired noticed the other wearing a turtleneck, that covered the bruises from yesterday.
"Kiru..." Illumi sounded like a wounded animal, his voice low and Killua imagined that would be the closest the other would feel to remorse. "Will Kiru forgive me? I would never intentionally harm you—let alone kill you..."
"...I know." The silverette scoffed with confidence. "Don't worry about it. Apology unwillingly accepted for the first time." He crossed his arms. "I know there's no way in the world you could execute that. But... what happened?" Illumi averted his eyes in thought or to conjure a rational explanation. "You have to admit that's bizarre even if for you."
"Hm..." The elder probed his own mind, recalling traces of what had happened as well as the emotions that fed into it. He would need to explore the own dark space known as his mind before he was able to map out anything for Kiru...
To Be continued...
We're entering the last arc of this series: Illumi's arc (i.e. his past and stuff.) something I'd been looking forward to for a LONG time. Since, let's be real, we haven't seen a lot or any of that in the anime and stuff (kinda similar to how we haven't seen much of Kiru's but he's still a main character so we know stuff). But damn, they both have their share of traumas, hashtag brothers.
So, anyhow, i'm guessing the question is how many chapters are left? Um... maybe like a few ...i think... (becoz! This was kind of the end-all for this fic to make it whole/complete; plus, I haven't thought past this arc. So unless that changes, we're nearing the end guys—it's been a ride. While, I do have a few ideas of where to take this, I'll speak about those near the end, I promise. Too exhausted right now and done with life lol.
Take care guys.
