It was another day in sugar rush, and Lucy was ready for it. Today was the first day she was going to try out her new improved sweet revenge kart on the track for the players. She went to get dressed first, having picked a new outfit. The others were right, she needed her own unique look, so she went shopping with friends and picked out a new signature look.

Lucy still wore her same old black boots, brown skirt and striped pink and blue socks, but now she wore a pink shirt with a sour patch kid on it to show her love of sour candies. Instead of a hoodie she now wore a dark blue denim jean jacket, it would be easier to slip off should she get hot and she found it stylish. She rolled up her sleeves to put on her jewelry, on her right arm she had her gold ring bracelet and silver heart bracelet, and on her left arm behind her watch she wore some wooden bead bracelets mocho gave her. After rolling down her sleeves a little she put a pearl necklace on, to complement her old one she always wore. She decided to stick with her old earrings, and after putting on a tiny bit of makeup, she proudly looked at herself in the mirror, happy of her new look. She grabbed her light brown purse and headed to the garage.

She saw her family was getting their karts ready when they noticed her

"You look great Lucy" said Vanellope

"Thanks mom. I really dig my new look, I just hope the gamers think so too" said Lucy

"We shall see. Let's head to the track" said Kevin

Lucy climbed into the light cycle type seat of her kart and closed the overhead cockpit. Having a candy kart that was mixed with a light cycle was weird but she still had all the controls her kart had, as well as all the powers of a light cycle. Driving, she noticed her kart was slightly faster, which she loved, players wanted the best and fastest racers.

Upon arriving, Lucy showed off her new look to her friends, which they all liked.

"You're gonna do great Lucy, and I'll be here to support you" said Mocho

"May Ze best racer vin" said Christie

Lucy climbed back into her kart as the game was about to be started up. Lucy was chosen to be played as, someone liked her new look it seemed. Lucys upgraded kart proved much more efficient and faster than it was on its own, thanks to the light cycle upgrade. Her new light beam power up mixed with sour sparkles proved great at blocking the competition. And her new sour patch kid missiles sabotaged other karts in a playful manner, enough for her to win most of the time

Lucy couldn't believe it, but as the day grew on, she got fans out of gamers, they said she was cool, the one thing she wanted most. She finally got her wish to be accepted, she didn't need TRON, but she did need this light cycle upgrade it seemed. She vowed to take great care of it.

At the end of the day, Lucy had been played almost as many times as the rest of her family, something she could only dream of. She threw off her jacket, sloppily throwing it over her shoulder before going to her friends who congratulated her

"You were awesome today Lucy" said Mocho

"I knew you could do it eventually" said Reese

"Vonna grab somezing to eat?" Christie asked

"You bet I do" said Lucy

"Dinners on me at burger time" said Christie

Lucy left with her friends while Kevin watched from the distance with his friend Lodhi jr.

"She did great, I'm proud of her" said Kevin

"To zink she just had to take somezing from anozer game to get popular. She almost got played as much as you did. Who knows, she might take your spot for most played racer" said Jr

"Yeah, that'll be the day. I'm happy for my sister but come on, I'm still more popular than her. I'm still the gamers favorite" said Kevin
