Adrien watched, his heart crashing to the floor. His plan was ruined. Just yesterday she was crying over him and now she was being kissed by another guy. He stomped up to Luka. Marinette stood, a blushing mess, looking between the two boys.

Luka attempted to walk away when Adrien shoved him against the outside of the school.

"Luka you… what do you think you're doing?" He growled out, grabbing him by the collar.

"What do you think you're doing?" Luka shot back, giving him a bored look. "You're the cause of her suffering." Adrien loosened his grip, the words hitting him hard before the anger welled back into his heart.

"You're just taking advantage of her when she's in pain!" he yelled back glaring at the blue-haired boy.

"Both of you stop…" Marinette stood next to them, tears in her eyes. "Please… stop…" They both looked her way. Guilt seeped in as they both realized they were in the wrong.

"M-Marinette I-" Adrien started, still not releasing Luka's shirt.

"If you thought of me as only a friend… then why are you so furious over Luka?!" Marinette sobbed, confused by each of their actions.

Adrien stared at her, at a loss for words. Luka looked at him with a smug look, wondering the same thing. Marinette ran off, Adrien reaching out for her.

"Marinette wait!" Luka caught Adrien's arm as he attempted to chase after her. Adrien slapped his hand away. His shoulders slumped as he sighed.

"Why? Why did you kiss her?" he looked Luka in the eyes.

Luka picked up his guitar. "You were conflicted with your feelings… So I thought I would help you," Adrien looked away. "And I feel like you have arrived at a conclusion." Luka gave a cold smile.

"I see…" Adrien said, grabbing his bag as he headed out, running in the direction Marinette had headed.

Luka watched him go. He scoffed at his own rash decisions. "Maybe a part of it was my own desire…" he said more to himself than anyone. "Maybe a little of both…" He walked away, hands in his pockets. He knew now that he had lost his final chance.

Marinette was quickly walking away, holding her face in her hands. "What is wrong with me? Why would I say such hurtful things to Adrien? Why would I make him worry about my pain?" She was embarrassed by her words.

Marinette stopped in her tracks as she began to realize. She had never told Adrien about her feelings. She only told Luka and Chat. She doubted Chat would tell anyone about it. Her eyes widened. Could that mean….

While Marinette was putting two and two together. Chloe was in the chemistry lab mixing up a 'love' potion.

"So I just have to add this and…." As she added the last ingredient it exploded, flames bursting out of the flask. She squealed, leaving the experiment burning on the table.

"Damn that prick, Lila!"

As Adrien went after Marinette her words played back in his head. "I've got to find her and explain everything." I think she went this way. Adrien noticed the locker room doors. I hope she's here.

Adrien pushed the doors open, Marinette's back facing him and he let out a relieved sigh. "Marinette! Please wait!" She stopped in her tracks, gripping her backpack strap.

"i-I really need to tell you something," Adrien huffed out as he tried to catch his breath. Marinette turned to him, finally gazing into his eyes.

"I-" the fire alarm began to ring and they stared at each other in shock as it cut off his words.

"I'll see if anyone is here!" Marinette yelled to him over the loud blaring.

"It could be a fake alarm, I'll check it out!" Adrien yelled over his shoulder as he was already on his way out.

That's weird there wasn't any sign of an akuma attack. Marinette was still cautious. A weird smell was wafting into the room. Flames burst from the ceiling above her, a piece of wood falling from above towards her.

Marinette could only watch as it came crashing down, the heat swelling over her skin as it came closer.

"Claws out!" She couldn't take her eyes off the wood as it was falling. Chat caught her just in time, picking her up and moving her out of the way. He was breathing heavily. She looked up at him in shock as he worriedly stared down at her, chest heaving.

"Marinette, I-" Chat hugged her tightly against him, tears flowing out. "You made me so scared! What if you got hurt?!" He squeezed her as she numbly stared at the fire behind them.

"I would've never forgiven myself if I couldn't save the girl that I love!" He sobbed into the crook of her neck.

Marinette chuckled with a soft smile, hugging him back. "Oh, you silly cat. Spots on!" At her words he pushed her away from him, holding her at arm's length as she transformed. His eyes growing wide. She smiled at him.

"M-My Lady…?" It took him a moment to process what had just happened. "It really is you!"

He started to babble on. "I-I mean what are the odds of it being you?! The pigtails, the hair color, and everything. It all makes sense. To think you've been right by my side all this ti-" Ladybug planted a kiss on his lips, effectively quieting him.

"Come on kitty we've got a whole school to save," Marinette turned away to hide her blushing giddy smile. Chat stood stunned, face beet red. He smiled widely and followed after her.

"Did you just see that?" Nino asked, mouth agape. They had hidden behind a locker to keep safe from the fire when they saw everything happen. Alya could only nod in shock as she pressed paused on her phone.
