Sans was shaking, his eye lights gone, and his smile faded. Everyone was completely eerily silent. Marie nervously invited the three into the home, and Aaron came out, rubbing where his eyes would be. Marie immediately let out a yelp as Agate tensed up, and summoned a spear in her hand. Marie made a shield and blocked Agate from doing anything and Aaron, instantly awake, now had defensive fireballs in his hands. Copper put his hand on Agate's shoulder, and she made her spear dissapear. Marie removed the sheild as Copper said, "Why do you have monsters in your home?" "This isn't my house," Marie answered. "But we are sheltering these monsters, and they are our friends." Copper nodded and said, "Well, if you trust them, they might be alright." Copper looked at Agate, whose eyes were still glowing a bright orange, and she let her eyes stop glowing. Marie gave a reassuring smile, while Aaron gave a distrusting glare towards Agate. After walking them to their rooms, Percy, now partially awake, walked down the hall to Marie. "What's going on...?" She mumbled sleepily. "Three people came because they needed shelter. Don't worry." At that, Percy nodded, to tired to care. After Marie returned to her room, Sans showed himself and angrily shouted, "WHY DID YOU LET THEM IN?!" "What do you mean?! Sure, they were a little suspicious, and Agate only brought out her spear because she didn't know if Aaron was going to hurt her or Copper or Amber!" Sans was now glaring at her with his eye glowing, but he let it fade with a frustrated sigh. "This is why we came here, to avoid it..." Sans mumbled to himself. "Avoid what?" Marie demanded. Sans opened his eyes once more, and this time, looking directly into hers. At once, her vision from her world faded, and she saw through other peoples eyes. She saw Sans die from a pink spear of a young and sadistic young girl. She saw Frisk cut her arm off in another location. She saw Toriel mistakenly throw an extremely powerful fireball at Asgore, possibly killing him. She saw Gaster from a third person view, and his blue eye faded. She saw a woman with Gaster, her hair streak turning from gray to blue along with her eyes, and she threw an orb to him, and he dissapeared with a flash, tears streaming. Tears streaked her face too as she looked at the rubble above, and it collapsed upon her. She saw Undyne throw a spear, but the pink girl, holding a SOUL, move it into the spears direction. The SOUL shattered, and along with it, Alphys, who was on the floor and bleeding, give one last smile before disappearing forever. Undyne, crying, now was extremely DETERMINED to defeat the girl. She saw Frisk, with an unreadable expression, slash a knife towards Toriel, and she collapsed and turned to dust. Next was Papyrus, while in a hug with Frisk, they mercilessly decapitated him, his smiling face now on the ground, stating that he still believes in them. Frisk then crushes his skull by stepping on him. Undyne was killed next, now in a suit of armor, and her SOUL practically dripping with DETERMINATION. Frisk stuck, and she fell to the ground and melted before turning to dust. Then, Mettaton was struck down, and exploded. Sans, now in a hall, with his theme playing, killed Frisk multiple times. After what seemed like an eternity, Frisk wasn't there anymore, but Chara. They struck forward to hit Sans, but Frisk blocked him. Sans absorbed their SOUL, and killed Chara. She then saw Asriel, but he was with Chara. She saw Chara, sick nearly to death, on their bed requesting to see the flowers of their village. After they died, Asriel absorbed their SOUL, passed the barrier carrying their body, and laid them to rest on the golden flowers. The humans, outraged, struck Asriel with all they had, and he didn't fight back. He smiled, and grabbed Chara's body before leaving. He made it to the castle underground, and collapsed, turning to dust. Afterwards, she saw Alphys grab a newly sprouted flower from where the goat child died, and came back to plant it. Then, the flower sprouted to life. Marie saw endless possibilities of the flower either helping or killing everyone, and when he absorbed the SOULs, he became Asriel once more. Then, she saw Copper and Agate fighting, and Copper victorious. Agate ran away and lost her trait, only to come back with a FEAR SOUL. During the next battle, she killed Amber, then Copper, and did a spell with Amber's body, and Marie saw the pink girl once more, but with someone speaking. "The SOUL of FEAR. A Bete' Noire..." After the long ordeal of seeing what would happen in the tragic future, Marie uttered a whimper, then collapsed on the floor, out cold.
"...Arie...Marie!" Marie heard a familiar voice called, even though she didn't recognize it. She opened her eyes to a woman bending over her, tall and graceful. Her eyes were a light blue like hers, her hair a light blonde, and she looked like Marie, but older. "Do you remember me?" She asked, unsure of what to do. The woman helped Marie up, and Marie recognized her. The woman who had Justin in her arms. Her mother. Marie realized this, and tears began to streak down her cheeks. Marie's mother lurched forward to hug her and successfully wrapped her arms around her. After what seemed a million moons or a single heartbeat, she let go, and Marie could see her clear as day, finally knowing who her mother was. The woman smiled and said, "Oh, my sweet Marie. You have grown up so much. You do still care for me after what I did to protect you, do you not?" "What did you have to do?" "My sweetheart...you are destined for greatness as the Angel that will SAVE us all. The one who can call for help, and the help coming from other worlds and times." What her mother spoke had a ring of truth to it. She could cry for help, and millions would come running. Marie was sobbing now as her long lost mom explained what she had to do. "I had to erase your memories in order to protect not only yourself from unnecessary attention, but also to protect your loved ones. Unfortunately, of our family, very few remain. You, Justin, and very few others. Our family, for generations, had tremendous power as sorcerers and wizards. You are the most powerful one yet." She said, her voice shaking with emotion. "My dear, I am so sorry, those who would attack you are the very ones who killed me and so many others." At that revelation, Marie was trembling with pure fury, sadness, and happiness to see her mother. Her mother stepped back and said, "I am so sorry to have to leave you..." She said, crying, and she began to fade. "NO! PLEASE MOM! DON'T GO YET!" She begged, her entire being shaking with emotion. "I must. My child, i love you so much..." She said, and she faded away and left nothing but a locket with the words "Be Patient, and Bring Justice" engraved on it, heart shaped and with a blue and yellow gem. Marie was crying for what seemed to be an eternity, and at last, she picked up the locket, and put it on. She jolted awake, now on the bed. She sat up, and was shocked to find the same locket now on her neck. She rose up, her eyes burning, and was filled to the brim with DETERMINATION to bring Justice to those who killed her family, and the Patience to prevent the disasters soon to come.
