The next day PJ was in the courtroom. She had to be cross-examined.
"The defense calls Polly Jean Cooper." Randy's attorney said. She took the stand. "Polly Jean, prior to meeting Randy Orton, were you a wrestling fan?"
"Yes from the time I was a little girl till the rape."
"From the ages fourteen to twenty-one, who was your favorite wrestler?"
"Randy Orton."
"Did you have a crush on him?"
"Yes."
"So he didn't rape you." "You willingly had sex with him that night."
"No!" "He held me down and he raped me!"
"Did you file a police report?"
"Yes."
"What happened?"
"I showered before I made the report so there was no evidence."
"Because nothing happened."
"Objection." Sam said standing up.
"Sustained." The judge said.
"No further questions." The defense attorney said.
Over the next few days the women who hadn't testified yet did. Randy had decided to take the stand. PJ was in the gallery.
"Randy can you tell me the extent of your relationship with Polly Jean Cooper?" The defense attorney asked
"Well I know her as PJ Mcallister." "If I'm remembering correctly, I believe we met on August 6th 2010." "She told me I was her favorite wrestler." "Even though I was married at the time, I thought she was beautiful." "As we got closer over the course of a week, I thought we made a connection " "I really liked her." "We did go back to my room after the show the night of the 12th." "We were sitting on the couch." "I know it was wrong but I kissed her."
"No." PJ whispered lowly.
"We made love all night, I thought we had something special."
"You lying bastard!" PJ said standing up shouting at the top of her lungs.
"Order!"
PJ left the courtroom. It felt like the room was spinning. She was so angry. She fainted.
To clear up some confusion. PJ's family always believed her. It was the cops that didn't.
