I mentioned before that the story is progressing towards the endgame. Well, I hope you're ready for it. This chapter is LONG.
Enjoy.
I'd like to thank Shade552 and SuperSmasher123 for reviewing the previous chapter.
To Shade552: Okay, I was honestly surprised by your response to the revelation that Older Brother will not be appearing. I will argue that William Afton/Springtrap deserves the Most Hated Family Member Award even more... but then again, when I really think about it, all William gets is non-stop verbal abuse from his wife and son. With the Older Brother, every member of the family want to either yell at him, slap him, punch him, jumpscare him, cut him to pieces, or send him to the fiery pits of H-E-L-L (or all of the above). So... okay, I guess Older Brother wins the Most Hated Family Member Award, then. I would respond lengthily to your theory on the creation of the realms and Crying Child's involvement, but all I will say is that you presented a pretty interesting theory.
To SuperSmasher123: It's not that you sound demanding. It's that your suggestions are overwhelming. I've already had (most of) this story mapped out and it was meant to only feature characters from the first era of FNaF (from FNaF 1 to Ultimate Custom Night). The FNaF VR characters were a late addition, but that's about as far as I'll go. And, hey, don't worry about the whole "One Big Happy Family" thing. I was just testing people's eagle eyes.
While Fredbear and his family are trying to keep the Nightmare Animatronics distracted, The Puppet leads a huge party down into the mines. There's yet another secret area in the mines, right beneath Black Metal Grave. The secret entrance to that secret area has been discovered by the Nightmare Animatronics and they built some sort of owl-like security robot to guard it. The Puppet wants to reclaim control of the portal (which is just a swirling black hole that cannot be moved or turned off) and the only way she can do that is by destroying the Security Owl. She'd do it herself, but the Toy Animatronics want to be a big part of this war.
So, The Puppet and her party - Golden Freddy, Shadow Freddy, and Lefty - battle alongside the Original Four and the Toy Animatronics in order to destroy the Security Owl.
However, the battle has been going on for about fifteen minutes now.
The Security Owl has the ability to fire magic orbs that make an alarm sound like police sirens. These orbs cause critical damage to anyone, prompting The Puppet to use multiple neon shields to protect her children while they attack. The two satellite-liked devices floating next to the Security Owl are guarded by force fields, which are super hard to destroy.
"Nothing we do can dent it," said Balloon Boy.
"It's not indestructible. It's just... it has very strong armor," said The Puppet.
Freddy himself has tried boosting his entire party's strength, speed, and defense with his magic mic. Toy Freddy adds his own mic's magic to increase everyone's speed further. Basically, everyone is moving as fast as an internet video run at 1.5x speed.
Bonnie jams as fast and as hard as he can, strumming at his guitar fast, sending a wave of magical notes that do continuous damage. Toy Bonnie uses magical notes as an attack, but he also throws toy chompers to snap at the Security Owl's feet... which is ineffective.
Chica is healing her friends with her cupcake's magic while desperately chucking cupcakes at the Security Owl. Toy Chica's "waterhose" attack just bounces off the Security Owl's hard metal shell, forcing her to prioritize healing.
Foxy, knowing he has to stay behind the shields, just throws hot cheese packs in an attempt to burn the Security Owl. If it's working, it's effects are too tiny to notice. Mangle has been tossing exploding poppers, but it's hard to tell if they're working.
Golden Freddy's soul repeatedly shoots out of the golden shell to cast her "haunting" spell, turning the Security Owl into stone, which only works for half a second. Shadow Freddy's attempts to unscrew the owl with dark energy beams from his mouth barely loosen its bolts. Lefty's eye blasts are leaving behind scorch marks, but that's about it.
Balloon Boy and JJ are just tossing balloons as fast as they can (with help from Freddy's and Toy Freddy's boost-up spells), but they appear ineffective. Dee-Dee, meanwhile, is just humming to herself in the back.
"Hey, Dee-Dee, think you can help?!" JJ shouted.
"Not yet," Dee-Dee teased.
"You're a part of this family, too, Dee-Dee!" Golden Freddy scolded.
"I know, but not yet," Dee-Dee insisted in her teasing tone.
"We have to hurry. The Puppet is growing tired," said Shadow Freddy.
"As... are... we," Freddy said, tired.
Casting neon shield after neon shield, another one to replace a destroyed one. Repeatedly healing her friends with her gift boxes. The Puppet is about as exhausted as the others. The damage they've done on the Security Owl is very little.
"I can only turn this thing to stone for barely a second," said Golden Freddy.
"Wait, that's it," The Puppet realized. "Goldie, use Haunting again, but wait for my signal."
The Puppet gets behind Lefty and aims his crosshairs at the Security Owl.
"Now!" The Puppet signalled.
Golden Freddy tries her "haunting" spell again. Almost at the same time, The Puppet super-charges Lefty's eye blaster and fires a powerful light energy blast. Golden Freddy's spell turns the Security Owl to stone. A quarter of a second later, Lefty's super-powered eye blast hits the owl, blasting a hole through its body and damaging its internal wiring. This causes the floating devices to malfunction and the force fields surrounding them to glitch.
"Bonnie, the satellites!" The Puppet ordered.
Bonnie strums his guitar hard and unleashes bigger and stronger musical notes, destroying the two floating devices. Without the devices, the Owl is inoperable. It's just a metal statue with a hole in its chest.
"Whew. Finally," said Bonnie, still tired.
Chica and Toy Chica simultaneously heal every single member of their party. Even with the neon shields up, the owl's "alarm" attack (the blinking orbs) was still doing splash damage that seriously hurt those behind the shields. Fifteen minutes of battle has exhausted and damaged everyone. Even with healing, they still feel like they can barely go on.
"This would've been easier if we had more help," said Freddy.
"We can't rely on the Funtime Animatronics or Funtime Chica's circus of crazies," said Golden Freddy.
"Don't be so sure, Goldie," said The Puppet. "The portal is ours now. Let us hope fortune smiles on our side tonight."
The Puppet, her party, the Original Four, and the Toys all enter the portal. All they see as they did is black and purple, and then all white. After that, black dirt and leafless trees, as well as sixteen unmarked gravestones. Something felt strange about the gravestones, at least, to The Puppet. But before she could investigate...
"Prize Ball!" Golden Freddy alerted.
A black, purple-striped prize ball is buried halfway in the ground beneath them. It lights up and explodes, releasing a huge blast of dark magic that hits The Puppet and all of her children. This blast of dark magic weakens everyone yet again, but this feels worse than fifteen minutes fighting the Security Owl. Everyone is struggling to stay on their feet. Golden Freddy, who actually can't stand up, can't even teleport. The Puppet's on her knees as she tries to summon another gift box. Before she could...
"Welcome back to the nightmare," said a familiar demonic voice.
No one was here a second ago. But now, every Nightmare Animatronic (that are still alive, that is) is right in front of The Puppet and her party. From Nightmare Freddy to Jack-O-Chica, they're all there. But it's not just the Nightmare Animatronics. RXQ is there as well, having been freed from the mountains. There also appears to be a skinless animatronic made of tangled wires with a clown-like mask. And there are these plush dolls that look like Circus Baby - about 20 or 30 of them. And leading this nightmarish party is the dark puppet master himself, Nightmarionne.
"I admit, your little distraction worked for a moment, but not long enough to keep us from greeting you at our doorstep," said Nightmarionne.
"A trap, Nightmarionne? That's what we call a cheap move. I thought you wanted a challenge," The Puppet taunted, despite feeling weak.
"Oh, don't worry. I do intend for the two of us to give one another a challenge," said Nightmarionne. "But your children, on the other hand, I have no intention of making it fair for them."
"Too bad. I was looking forward to a fun challenge," said Nightmare Bonnie.
"You can have your fun when we rise to the world of the living," said Nightmarionne.
"You skinny sack of coal," Golden Freddy insulted. "You're not gonna get that fun when we're through with you."
"Goldie, please, save it," The Puppet interrupted.
"I must admit, I am proud of you, Puppet. You are finally approaching this war the right way," said Nightmarionne. "Frontal assault into our realm."
"You should feel proud of yourself," The Puppet retorted. "You made me do this."
"And I am proud," said Nightmarionne. "My brethren, destroy these pathetic pests. As for you, Puppet, let us take our personal matters elsewhere."
Nightmarionne teleports in front of The Puppet. This time, The Puppet isn't startled. Nightmarionne could see the fighting spirit in The Puppet's eyes. Not even a jumpscare fazes her. Not that it matters to the new ruler of the Nightmare Realm. Nightmarionne grabs The Puppet by the arms, and then drags them both underground, transporting them somewhere else.
While the two puppets are battling one-on-one elsewhere, their respective parties are left to face off against each other. The odds are incredibly stacked against Faztopia's army, though. Not only are they outnumbered by they feel too weak to fight back. They can still move and maybe they can still fight, but it won't be enough.
"C'mon, you weaklings. Show us you still have fight," said Nightmare Foxy.
"Or we can just prolong their torture," Ennard suggested, in the voice of Circus Baby.
"Wait... that voice," Golden Freddy recognized.
"Ooh, ooh, unleash our old master," said Nightmare BB.
The Jack-O-Animatronics bring forward a wooden coffin. The second they put it down, a clawed hand bursts through the lid. Clawing and kicking its way out of the coffin is yet another Freddy-looking animatronic. Its fur is a rustic brownish-green. The nuts and bolts nailed to certain parts of his body, as well some stitching, give you a Frankenstein's monster kind of vibe. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy can't help but feel that this "new" animatronic is someone they've seen before.
"Hey, Fazbear. Remember our master? Well, here he is, brought back from the dead... kinda," said Nightmare Bonnie.
"Nightmare?!" Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy recognized.
"Wrong. It's Dreadbear now," said Nightmare Freddy.
Dreadbear unleashes a loud roar that is music to the Nightmare Animatronics' ears. The ground also feels like it's shaking. They can't tell if the roar is too loud or if the roar is the cause of the mild quaking.
"Let's get mean," Nightmare Bonnie said excitedly.
Before the Nightmare Animatronics could attack, some things fall out of the sky and explode upon landing. These things look like cupcakes. Dozens of them. All of these mini-explosions are keeping the Nightmare Animatronics back, as well as creating a smokescreen that blinds them. The smokescreen didn't last long, but this minor inconvenience turns into a major one for the Nightmare Animatronics.
"Are we late for the show?" A white-and-pink fox asked.
That fox is Funtime Foxy. Next to him are Funtime Freddy and Bon-Bon. But it's not the other Funtime Animatronics. Even the animatronics from Funtime Chica's Party World showed up. Funtime Chica. The Rockstar Animatronics. The Mediocre Melodies. Trash and Gang. Even Music Man was here. This was an unexpected surprise even for the party that The Puppet brought here.
"Cupcakes for everyone!" Funtime Chica started.
Funtime Chica summons cupcakes and heals everyone. It didn't fully erase the dark magic from their systems, but it strengthened them just enough for them to stand up steadily.
"Cutting it pretty close," Golden Freddy commented.
"Sorry, but we got a little lost on the way," said Mr. Hippo.
"How did you all even get here?" asked Toy Chica.
Funtime Freddy holds Bon-Bon higher, allowing everyone to see the inter-realm transporter that the blue bunny puppet is holding. It's the second transporter that The Puppet asked Springtrap to make.
"That explains that," said Freddy.
"But why did you guys come?" asked Chica.
"The Puppet sent us a message," Bon-Bon answered.
"Wait for doom or come here and fight," said Rockstar Foxy.
"And we chose to help you guys kick butt," said Rockstar Chica.
"Just because Boss Lady doesn't care about saving our home, it doesn't mean we don't," said Funtime Freddy.
"So, what are we up against?" asked Funtime Chica.
"Nightmarish abominations with claws and sharp teeth. A Shadow Bonnie. Franken-Freddy. A clown-faced wiry mess. Circus Baby plushies," Bonnie enumerated.
The PlushBabies suddenly reveal what they have in story. Their right eyes glow red, which indicates at something deadly. Some of the PlushBabies are designed differently, like they're withered versions of Circus Baby. These types of PlushBabies have claws drawn on their right hand... which open and reveal actual claws.
"Backup or no backup, you're finished," Nightmare Bonnie roared.
The Nightmare Animatronics steel themselves as they prepare to charge into battle. Dreadbear stands there menacingly with those lifeless but monstrous eyes.
"Ready to rock?" asked Bonnie.
"As ready as we'll ever be," said Toy Bonnie.
"Then let's do this," said Mangle.
"For glory," said Foxy.
"For peace," said Bonnie.
"For Faztopia," said Chica.
"For The Puppet," Freddy said determinedly.
"Then let's make her proud," said Golden Freddy. "CHARGE!"
The Puppet's children cry out with battle-ready determination as they literally charge forward (except Golden Freddy, for obvious reasons). The Nightmare Animatronics roar their loudest as they too charge forward into battle.
Meanwhile, Nightmarionne drags The Puppet all the way to the black lake. The surrounding area is currently covered in a thick fog. Nightmarionne disappears while The Puppet is still on her knees. The Puppet summons a gift box and uses its magic to purge the dark magic from inside her, restoring her strength. The Puppet finally lifts her face, only to be blinded by the fog. She can still see the lake and the sky, but only for a while before the fog covers her view again. This is actually making The Puppet feel a little anxious. Her counterpart is hiding behind all this fog and she doesn't know where he is.
"Why hide behind a smokescreen, Nightmarionne?" The Puppet taunted, in an attempt to hide her anxiety. "That's never been your style."
"As much as I wish for us to settle this now," said Nightmarionne. His voice echoed in the fog. "I made a promise to the allies you have given me."
Something comes out of the fog. It's green, ghostly, and has the face of a little boy. It's Phantom Balloon Boy, jumping out of the fog and attacks with a jumpscare. The Puppet doesn't react, but Phantom BB just runs back into the fog. He throws a toxic balloon and it hits The Puppet, poisoning her.
"That's for lying to us," Phantom BB said from within the fog.
Before The Puppet can heal herself, Phantom Fox jumps out of the fog with a ghostly scream. The Puppet tries to dodge, but the phantom fox bites her in the arm. This toxic bite further poisons The Puppet.
"Call it good ole fashioned payback," said Phantom Foxy.
Phantom Chica jumps out of the fog and throws sludge at The Puppet's face, blinding her and poisoning her even further. The Puppet magically removes the icky stuff from her face, but Phantom Chica has disappeared.
"Long time coming, Puppet," said Phantom Chica.
As if being poisoned wasn't bad enough, Phantom Mangle's high-pitched garbled starts and at the loudest it's ever been. While The Puppet is too busy covering her ears, Phantom Freddy casts his rainy day spell that lowers The Puppet's defenses. The phantom bear then hits The Puppet with his mic, which hurts more than it should've been, and then disappears.
"Can't fight what you can't see," Phantom Freddy taunted.
The Puppet quickly casts two neon shields in a desperate attempt to keep herself safe from any more surprise attacks. She can't focus not being able to see clearly and multiple animatronics attacking her at once.
"Phantom payback, Nightmarionne?" The Puppet questioned loudly. "Not like you to let others get in the way of our battle."
"I had to ensure their loyalty to the Nightmare Realm. All they ask is a chance to make you suffer," said Nightmarionne. "They won't destroy you, as I ordered them not to, but I can't promise they'll be gentle."
"I'll fight them if I have to, but this is between you and me," said The Puppet.
One of Nightmarionne's tentacles sneak out of the fog, slowly reaching for the back of The Puppet's head. The tentacle sticks its pointy head into The Puppet's head and starts injecting nightmare magic into her brain. After at least five seconds, Nightmarionne hides his tentacle away as The Puppet collapses to her knees again.
"What is it you fear the most, Puppet?" asked Nightmarionne. "Losing yourself? Succumbing to your darkest feelings? Failing your children?"
The fog starts to clear a bit, but what The Puppet sees behind the fog horrifies her. She sees the Original Four - Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy - but they're... broken. Chica's beak and arms have been ripped off her body. Foxy has one of his legs shoved into his one good eye. Bonnie is faceless, armless, and legless. Freddy has been dismantled piece by piece. Their souls struggle to fly to up there, but darkness pulls them down to the death-ridden dirt, to down there. And the Phantom Animatronics are standing over their corpses.
"These guys suck, don't they?" Phantom Chica mocked.
"Pathetic children of a pathetic mother," said Phantom Foxy.
"The loss of a child is the fault of the parent," said Phantom Freddy.
The Phantoms' words are ringing in The Puppet's ears. The sight of her children in pieces right in front of her eyes... it's twisting her heart. It's making her head burn. It's making her eyes leak actual tears, tracing the tear tracks on her mask. Her limbs feel simultaneously tense and weak at the same time. The white glint in her eyes grow as her sadness grows. Suddenly, they shrink as her fingers curl into fists. The tears fail to hide the anger that boils. Her fingers uncurl, but light magic shines on her hands.
"What will you do?" Nightmarionne whispered.
The Puppet claps her hands together, unleashing a wave of light magic that blinds and damages the Phantom Animatronics. This outburst completely clears the mist, allowing The Puppet to fight without any visual obstructions.
Phantom BB summons another toxic balloon, but The Puppet zooms towards him and grabs the arm that holds the balloon. She directs the balloon back at the owner, splashing toxic magic on Phantom BB's face. Phantom BB screams as his own magic poisons him. The Puppet grabs Phantom BB by the head, looks at him in the eye, and fires beams of light magic from her own eyes that pierce right through the phantom boy's eyes. Phantom BB's mind is so overloaded with light magic that he collapses like a broomstick.
Phantom Foxy gets back up, only for The Puppet to get up close to his face, startling him. Phantom Foxy swings his hook and it sinks into the upper-right part of The Puppet's mask. The Puppet glares into his soul, like she didn't feel a thing. The Puppet summons a mini-neon shield and smacks Phantom Foxy in the face. She then rips the hook from his hand and jabs it right into his head. The hook hits Phantom Foxy's metallic brain, causing the phantom fox to fall over.
Phantom Mangle and Phantom Chica attack at the same time. Phantom Mangle uses its sound attack to disorient The Puppet, giving Phantom Chica the chance to use a jumpscare attack. The Puppet, though, ignores Phantom Mangle's signature noise and counters both of them in quick succession. She uses a magic spell that distorts the Phantoms' senses, slowing them down and making them see static and black glitches. The Puppet summons a prize ball that unleashes a storm cloud, lowering both their defenses. The Puppet puts her hand on Phantom Chica's face and overloads her brain with too much light magic. The Puppet blasts a silverish-black beam of magic that unscrews Phantom Mangle, breaking it in half.
Phantom Freddy tries using a sludge attack and a rainy cloud attack at the same time, attempting to lower The Puppet's speed and defenses. The Puppet shrugs off the damage (without a neon shield) and does a simple sweeping motion of her hand, mimicking the phantom bear's attacks. Phantom Freddy gets slowed down by sludge and his exterior is weakened by magical rain. The Puppet takes the phantom bear's mic, charges it with her own magic, and bashes the bear's head with it, damaging him badly.
The Puppet drops the mic as she takes deep breaths. She looks all around her again. The Phantoms are in critical condition. They may not be dead, but they look pretty much dead. The shattered corpses of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy suddenly start to disappear.
It's not real, The Puppet realized.
But the Phantoms, they're real. What she just did to them, that's real. Looking directly into the lake, The Puppet does not only see her reflection. She also sees Nightmarionne. It's as if her reflection is glitching out and switching from he real face to the face of her counterpart.
"I am you." His voice echoed in her head.
"And you are me," The Puppet muttered.
Unexpectedly, her reflection jumps out of the lake and lunges at her. It's the real Nightmarionne this time. He spin-strikes her out of his way as he approaches the Phantom Animatronics.
"I must say, you have exceeded my expectations," said Nightmarionne.
"You tricked me. Made me think my nightmares were real," said The Puppet.
"That's the beauty of the Nightmare Realm. All your worst nightmares come to life," said Nightmarionne.
Nightmarionne's tentacles grow and extend. He looks like he's about to use them on the Phantoms, who are in very, very bad shape right now, thanks to The Puppet.
"What are you gonna do to them?" asked The Puppet.
"They've proven their usefulness, and outlived it," said Nightmarionne.
"No!" The Puppet cried.
The Puppet quickly grabs Nightmarionne and flies away, taking this fight somewhere away from the damaged Phantoms. The Puppet flies towards the barn and throws Nightmarionne right through the barred wooden doors. The Puppet slowly floats inside the barn. Just like the rest of the Nightmare Realm, it's decorated in a way that looks like it's a place for Halloween. Jack-o-lanterns, gift boxes with dark colors, and a banner that says, "BOO!." As for Nightmarionne, he crashed right through the long table in the middle, tearing it in half.
"You manipulated me, again," The Puppet said, hurt inside.
"But now you're getting it. We're not so different as you led yourself to believe," said Nightmarionne. "The only difference between us is our priorities. You wish to protect all those souls. I want fear to spread everywhere."
"You'll have to face me and beat me if you want to go that far," The Puppet challenged. "And this time, no more restraints."
"That's the fighting spirit," Nightmarionne responded, excited for a more intense rematch.
Nightmarionne charges at The Puppet with his sharp tentacles ready to strike. The Puppet charges forward as well and blocks Nightmarionne's tentacles with her own arms, trapping both of them in a lock that forces them to glare at each other up close. This either ends here or their struggle continues.
Back at the graveyard, the battle between Faztopia's animatronics and the Nightmare Animatronics has begun.
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy face off against their nightmarish counterparts - Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, and Nightmare Foxy - in a rematch. This time, the Original Four are in better shape and they have their Bytes back.
"Let us settle this once and for all," said Nightmare Freddy.
"Guys, find your match and don't hold back," Freddy ordered.
Freddy sings into his mic and casts his power boost spell, increasing his friends' power, defense, and speed, as well as his own. The Original Four now feel brand new and built for battle. Foxy demonstrates the boost-up's effect with speedy left-to-right running.
Nightmare Freddy starts the battle by sending six Freddles to attack Freddy. Freddy quickly traces six pizza-shaped projectiles with his mic and sends them rolling at the Freddles like car wheels. One by one, the Freddles are run over by the "pizza wheels" and knocked out of the fight. Freddy runs towards Nightmare Freddy as he throws his mic at the animatronic bear. Nightmare Freddy gets hit in the face with the mic, but he counters by throwing dark-magic-infused sludge at Freddy, slowing him down. Nightmare Freddy slashes Freddy three times with his claws, leaving scratch marks on his body. Fortunately for Freddy, he had already activated his Wasp Byte, which blasts lasers non-stop at Nightmare Freddy.
"Infernal contraption," Nightmare Freddy complained. "Ow! Arr! Agh!"
"While I prefer the basics, a little something extra won't hurt anyone... except you," said Freddy.
Nightmare Bonnie is being ferociously relentless as he tries to scratch Bonnie to pieces with his claw attacks. Bonnie uses his new guitar as a shield, and the speed boost is greatly helping his reflexes. Nightmare Bonnie grabs the guitar with both hands in an attempt to wrestle it away from the blue bunny, but Bonnie just smiles as he strums his strings. The guitar releases blue musical notes that bash Nightmare Bonnie in the face, over and over again. Nightmare Bonnie casts a rainy cloud spell, weakening Bonnie's defenses, and then slashes in the air, sending circular dark magic projectiles. Bonnie activates his Shield Byte and deflects the "black pizzas" away, one of them back at Nightmare Bonnie.
"You wanna get mean, let's get mean," Bonnie taunted.
"Hey, that's my line," Nightmare Bonnie said angrily.
Nightmare Chica summons a rotten pizza that stuns and poisons Chica. Nightmare Chica runs towards Chica and slashes her across the face with her claws. Chica summons one cupcake to heal the scar, and then summons another cupcake to bonk Nightmare Chica in the head. Nightmare Chica looks up in response. Chica blindsides Nightmare Chica by ordering her cupcake to attack the Nightmare Cupcake. Chica's Cupcake hops back into its plate as Chica summons a hail of cupcakes, pelting them at Nightmare Chica. The Nightmare Cupcake sneaks up on Chica and bites her leg. After managing to kick the Nightmare Cupcake away, Chica heals herself with her Health Byte.
"Think about it. You can't really hurt me," said Chica.
"Oh, but I will so gladly try," said Nightmare Chica.
Foxy and Nightmare Foxy are having yet another hook-on-hook sword fight. With Foxy's enhanced speed, thanks to Freddy's boost up spell, he is getting the upper hand with faster slashes on his nightmare counterpart. Foxy throws up a packet of hot cheese, making Nightmare Foxy look up. Foxy zooms to the back of his enemy and slashes him in the back of the head. The packet lands covers Nightmare Foxy's head with burning cheese. Nightmare Foxy screams in pain for a few seconds, but he retaliates with a black beam of magic from his hook, causing Foxy to literally lose a few screws. Foxy dashes towards Nightmare Foxy as fast as he can, drops off the Bomb Byte, and runs far away as the byte blows Nightmare Foxy up high and down.
"It feels good to be back in order," said Foxy.
"When I get up, I will put you out of order," said Nightmare Foxy.
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Mangle all team up against one Nightmare Animatronic. Nightmare Mangle. They had to shake off and blast through a few PlushBabies - getting scratched a bit along the way - but they finally reached the mangled nightmare fox. This is their chance to prove themselves, but they remind themselves that this battle is for the safety of Faztopia.
"Four against one. We can do this," said Toy Freddy.
"Can we?" Toy Chica asked nervously. "Look at that ugly thing."
Nightmare Mangle roars in anger.
"I don't think we should insult it," said Toy Bonnie.
Nightmare Mangle roars angrily again, making the Toy Animatronics a bit more nervous.
"I don't think it appreciated being called an it," said Mangle.
"Speak for yourself," said Toy Bonnie.
Nightmare Mangle starts using its off-pitched static sound, in an attempt to distort its enemies' hearing. Mangle is unaffected and tries using its own garbled radio noise to fight back, but it only hurts its allies' ears even more. Having had enough, Toy Bonnie takes his hands off his ears and quickly strums his guitar, sending colorful music notes to bash Nightmare Mangle, stopping the noise. Mangle stops its own noise as well.
"Not cool, Mangle," said Toy Chica. "I wonder if healing spells work on audio receptor damage."
"Sorry," Mangle apologized.
"C'mon, guys. Let's show him... her... it... how we do things in Faztopia," Toy Freddy rallied.
Toy Freddy casts a speed-up spell to help his party. Toy Freddy quickly tosses his mic at Nightmare Mangle. Toy Bonnie quickly sends a "munchie" to snap at Nightmare Mangle's endoskeleton. Toy Chica uses her "waterhose" attack to distract and agitate Nightmare Mangle. Mangle decides to end this quickly with some poppers. All they have to do is wait for the poppers to explode.
"This is way easier than Five Nights with Mr. Hugs," Toy Freddy bragged.
Furious and Nightmare Mangle, however, kicks the munchie off away. It then uses some kind of sound attack that bounces the poppers away and right towards the Toy Animatronics.
"Run!" Toy Freddy screamed.
The four Toy Animatronics try to run and jump away, but the poppers have already exploded. The blast sends them flying across the graveyard with burn marks on their exteriors and on Mangle's endoskeleton. Worse, there are PlushBabies coming out from over, behind, and under trees.
"Okay, maybe we're not ready," Toy Chica said negatively.
"Don't give up guys," said Toy Freddy. He then pulled an arm muscle. "Ouch."
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Funtime Chica and Music Man team up with Funtime Freddy, Bon-Bon, and Funtime Foxy. After narrowly avoiding some PlushBabies, they come face to face with Ennard. He's clearly been repaired and brought back to life by Nightmarionne. Fortunately, Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy have experience fighting against it.
"I would not want that creepy thing in my circus," said Funtime Chica.
"And you call me creepy," Music Man reminded.
"I don't have time to entertain this circus," said Ennard, in Baby's voice again.
"Time for an encore, friend. You will not enjoy it as much as we do," said Funtime Foxy.
"Let us show you how it's done," said Funtime Freddy. "Hey, Bon-Bon, go get..."
Funtime Freddy stops talking something dark and painful hits him in the head. Funtime Foxy, too. Bon-Bon, even. The bear, the fox, and the bunny puppet hold their aching heads as what appears to be dark energy flows from their brains and towards Ennard. Ennard is now covered in this dark magic, but it's not hurting him. No, it appears to be transforming him. The mask of Ennard falls as the body changes shape.
The transformation turns Ennard into... an animatronic whose entire body is an even bigger mess of wiry parts, has no legs (unless you count the pile of wires as legs), and a rusty mask assembled to look like a Freddy.
"Molten Freddy?" Funtime Foxy reacted, shocked.
"Well, hello again!" Molten Freddy greeted loudly, in a slightly distorted version of Funtime Freddy's voice.
"Well, hello there, handsome," Funtime Freddy greeted politely.
Bon-Bon slaps Funtime Freddy in the face.
"Uh, I mean... WHAT?!" Funtime Freddy corrected himself. "What happened?!"
Molten Freddy picks up Ennard's mask and says, "The Nightmare Realm feeds on fear, doesn't it? Well, I think it's obvious what you're afraid of."
"Of you? But we were you," said Funtime Freddy.
"Yes, I am you... after you kicked poor old Baby out. Remember that? You got so tired of her. You never cared for her. You and her mommy just threw her out on the streets like a nobody," Molten Freddy reminded mockingly. "And you're afraid that you would do it again to her."
"No, never again. We're her best friends forever," Funtime Freddy insisted.
"Are you sure about that?" Molten Freddy mocked. "What if she gets bossy again? What if she wants you to do something you don't want to? What if she throws you out the same way you threw her out?"
"Stop it. Stop it! STOP IT!" Funtime Freddy shouted. He's starting to lose his cool.
"Shh, shh. Calm down, Funtime Freddy. Let's go back to stage," Bon-Bon attempted to soothe her friend.
"Let's face it. You're all better off without her. Why don't you take her mother with you? That'll really hurt her," Molten Freddy continued.
"SHUT UP, MOLTEN ME!" Funtime Freddy shouted.
"Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh," Bon-Bon continued to try and calm down her friend. "It's just a mouse squeaking. No need to worry."
"Why lie to yourself, Funtime Me?" Molten Freddy continued to mock. "Maybe that's because you're the big baby around here."
Click. Something literally snapped, as in made a snapping sound inside Funtime Freddy's head. Bon-Bon tried gently rubbing and patting Funtime Freddy's cheek, but it's not working. The white bear looks like he's about to go ballistic.
"AAAAAAAHHH!" Funtime Freddy screamed at the skies in anger.
Funtime Freddy runs towards Molten Freddy as he screams like a lunatic, flailing his arms aimlessly, disregarding Bon-Bon's motion sickness. Funtime Foxy tries to get in the way, only to get accidentally punched to the side. Molten Freddy slinks forward and perfectly smacks Funtime Freddy in the face on time, knocking him down. Molten Freddy fires a rusty brown beam from his mouth that slowly but painfully unscrews Funtime Freddy's parts. If this keeps up, he'll dismantle the white-and-purple bear in seconds.
"Not on my watch," said Funtime Foxy.
Funtime Foxy summons a pink projectile from the sky and hits Molten Freddy, staggering him and saving Funtime Freddy.
"Don't get distracted!" Funtime Chica taunted.
Funtime Chica poses like she's in a photo shoot, casting a series of flashing lights, temporarily distorting Molten Freddy's senses.
"Let's turn up the volume," said Music Man.
Music Man bangs his cymbals together, sending a large yellow musical note that bounces off Molten Freddy's face painfully.
"Hey, Bon-Bon! Go get him!" Funtime Freddy finally said it.
Funtime Freddy aims Bon-Bon directly at the stunned Molten Freddy. With one jerk of his arm, Funtime Freddy shoots Bon-Bon like a cannonball out of a cannon. Bon-Bon puts on a superhero pose as she flies straight towards Molten Freddy's head. Bon-Bon's incredible mid-air speed results in a collision that breaks Molten Freddy's face into pieces, leaving the wiry body headless.
"Only one room for one Funtime Freddy!" Funtime Freddy said loudly.
Bon-Bon reattaches herself to the bear's arm, gently pats him in the head, and says, "Shh, it's over. You won. You can relax now, silly."
"Y-Yes. I will relax," Funtime Freddy obeyed. His voice went from loud to calm in an instant.
"Now is not the time for rest, my friend. We still have a war to win," Funtime Foxy interrupted.
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Balloon Boy, JJ, and Dee-Dee team up against Nightmare Balloon Boy (because they thought it would be fitting, and it was). Despite being outnumbered, Nightmare BB doesn't appear intimidated at all. He just cackles like a deranged little boy as he throws balloons at his enemies at a very fast rate. He's as fast a thrower as Brow Boy and the Ballboys.
Balloon Boy and JJ hide behind gravestones to avoid getting hit. Fortunately, these gravestones appear to be indestructible. Dee-Dee, meanwhile, is still in her own little world, far away from her friends.
"Hey, Dee-Dee. You wanna help or not?" JJ called.
"Almost ready," said Dee-Dee.
"Forget her, JJ. We gotta do this ourselves," said Balloon Boy. "On the count of three, you throw poppers at him. When they explode, throw balloons."
"Okay," JJ agreed.
"One... two... three," Balloon Boy counted.
JJ throws poppers out from behind the gravestone. They start ticking and blow up, damaging and blinding Nightmare BB. Balloon Boy and JJ jump out and start throwing balloons as fast as they can, trying to damage Nightmare BB as much as they can without giving him a chance to recover.
"Hey, Dee-Dee, you wanna help now?" JJ called.
No response from Dee-Dee. She's just standing there, waddling left and right on the spot.
"Time for you to feel the wrath of my teeth," said Nightmare BB.
Nightmare BB uses his claws to pop the incoming balloons as he runs towards Balloon Boy and JJ with chomping teeth. Balloon Boy and JJ jump backwards and sideways to dodge Nightmare BB's sharp teeth. His chomps also have splash damage, but they don't have much range. Despite being unable to bite them, Nightmare BB just waits for them to lose balance before throwing balloons at them again. This time, the two child-faced animatronics couldn't dodge them. They're getting pelted with so many that they can't counter. When Balloon Boy tried to throw his own balloon, he missed badly.
"Dee-Dee!" Balloon Boy and JJ called.
"How unfortunate, how unfortunate," Dee-Dee sang quietly.
"DEE-DEE!" Balloon Boy and JJ called again.
"This fight looks like it might end bad, so it's time to level up a tad," Dee-Dee finished.
Suddenly, Dee-Dee starts to glitch out. Her head is shaking. Her color is changing. Her pink and yellow color scheme changes to grey and black. Her skin changes from fair to pale grey. Her eyes become a lifeless black. As if that wasn't creepy enough, she starts glitching left, right, and around the place, giggling as she does. Her voice turns into nearly indecipherable static-like sounds as she glitches all over the graveyard.
"Am I supposed to be scared?" Nightmare BB questioned. "Nothing scares..."
Nightmare BB is cut off when something fell out of the sky and dropped on him. It's a beaver-like animatronic, complete with a brown exterior and a beaver's tail. It also has red rosy cheeks and holds a mandolin in his hands.
"Uh, where am I?" asked the beaver animatronic.
"El Chip?!" Funtime Chica recognized. "How did you..."
"Dee-Dee," Balloon Boy and JJ answered.
"X... O... R..." Dee-Dee said in her glitched voice.
El Chip hops off the Nightmare Animatronic he just dropped on and asks, "I was just preparing to broadcast my new advertisements for my restaurant when... poof... here I am. This must be the Nightmare Realm. Looks perfect for Halloween. Already giving me ideas for a Halloween theme at my place. Oh, and speaking of my place..."
El Chip gives Funtime Chica a new flyer for his restaurant - El Chip's Fiesta Buffet. It's stylish, fits his style, attractive to the kids, and gives off an aura of friendly service.
"I am so welcoming you back to the circus," Funtime Chica said half-sarcastically and half-sincerely.
"Really? You will?" El Chip reacted excitedly. "Why the change of heart? I thought you said I was annoying."
"So was Music Man, and he's back in," said Funtime Chica.
Nightmare BB, lying on his face, tries to get back up, but El Chip's sudden "drop-in" made his back hurt. He does get back up eventually, but before he could attack El Chip... something else falls out of the sky and hits Nightmare BB. It's Candy Cadet, who has also been added to the battlefield by Dee-Dee (or X.O.R., as she said she's called now). This time, Nightmare BB is too hurt to even think about getting back up.
"... to put him back together," Candy Cadet rambled, as if he was telling a story before he showed up.
"Dee-D... I mean, X.O.R., that was awesome," said JJ.
"Think you can teach us that?" asked Balloon Boy.
"NO... I... CAN'T... HEE... HEE," Dee-Dee said, again in her glitched voice.
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
The Rockstar Animatronics face off against the Jack-O-Animatronics. Jack-O-Bonnie and Jack-O-Chica are still angry from their earlier defeat at the hands of Fredbear and his family, and this anger is fueling their power. They look more on fire than they usually are, especially Chica's Jack-O-Pumpkin. And this extra fire is what is giving the Jack-O-Animatronic the upper hand.
Jack-O-Bonnie and Jack-O-Chica throw a bunch of Jack-O-Bombs that the Rockstars keep failing to avoid. After a dozen or so, the Rockstars are down on the ground again, looking like they should surrender.
"The power of rock is no match for the power of the fire," said Jack-O-Chica.
"If you're smart, you should stay down and let us burn you to dust," said Jack-O-Bonnie.
"No, the power of rock never sleeps," said Rockstar Chica.
Jack-O-Bonnie just throws a fiery sword-like object at Rockstar Chica. Rockstar Bonnie tries to use his guitar as a shield, but it just ends up hurting both him and Rockstar Chica.
"Time to serenade you fiery demons with a painful tune," said Rockstar Foxy.
Before the fox could do anything, Jack-O-Chica creates a buzzsaw-looking fiery projectile and hurls it. Rockstar Foxy gets hit and crashes into the hapless Rockstar Freddy.
"We need more power," said Rockstar Chica. "And a new plan."
"To unite is something divine, our powers we must combine," Rockstar Bonnie sang.
"I think I catch your meaning, Rockstar Bonnie," Rockstar Freddy understood.
Rockstar Freddy gives himself and his friends a power boost with his mic, increasing the damage that can be dealt with any attack they do. Rockstar Chica taps her maracas together and temporarily staggers the Jack-O-Animatronics with a yellow magical blast. This gives the Rockstars time to charge up.
"Let's rock!" Rockstar Chica said, energized.
Rockstar Chica raises one of her maracas in the air. Rockstar Bonnie touches the maraca with the head of his guitar. Rockstar Chica taps both her maraca and the guitar with her other maraca, unleashing a beam of yellow-and-blue musical energy that hits Jack-O-Bonnie and sends crashing at a PlushBaby and a tree.
"Let's keep up the rock, shall we?" Rockstar Freddy prepared.
Rockstar Freddy taps his mic against the star on his chest, igniting it with musical energy. Rockstar Foxy plays his accordion and conjures one red musical note. Freddy taps the note with his magic mic, causing it to shine brighter as it zooms towards Jack-O-Chica so fast that she couldn't react. Jack-O-Chica gets hit and crashes onto Jack-O-Bonnie.
"Oh, yeah!" Rockstar Chica celebrated. "I knew we made the right choice..."
However, the celebration was cut short by laser blasts from multiple PlushBabies. Rockstar Bonnie creates a blue neon barrier from his own music to protect his friends, but it can only hold for so long.
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
The Mediocre Melodies - Mr. Hippo, Orville, Happy Frog, Pigpatch, and Nedd Bear - are struggling to stay in one piece against the PlushBabies. The non-stop barrage of laser eye blasts force them to hide behind trees, which are getting easily destroyed by the lasers. The Scrap PlushBabies try to snap at them and cut them to pieces with their claws. How lucky are these rejects to have suffered from a few holes and burn marks so far?
Pigpatch is firing musical notes from his banjo before ducking behind a tree, over and over again. Happy Frog can't attack when she has to keep jumping and leaping to avoid getting blasted with lasers. Nedd Bear is just running around like crazy in a desperate attempt to avoid getting clawed by Scrap PlushBabies.
"We're losing ground and trees," Pigpatch said.
"I... can't... keep... dodging... forever," Happy Frog said in between jumps.
"Help! Help me! Help!" Nedd Bear cried as he ran.
"Where is Mr. Hippo? He should be helping us," Orville wondered.
Mr. Hippo, as it turns out, is over on the other side of the graveyard, talking to three PlushBabies. They were about to annihilate him, until he started rambling. The PlushBabies actually stopped to process the hippo's words, which was kinda overwhelming their databases.
"... and so I said to Orville, why not try something new?" Mr. Hippo continued. "He told me, what would be the point? I love my act and this act will go on forever. And I guess he has a point. I mean, we're dead, aren't we? This is our afterlife. There is no more end. Unless we decide to forfeit our artificial lives, we'll be entertaining children's souls for all of eternity. There is literally no end in sight. That's just how the afterlife works. And so, I told him, Yeah, you do have a point, Orville. It's kinda like telling a story. You try so hard to think of something original and interesting, but it's really hard to do both these days. A story can be interesting even if it's not original. An original idea can turn out to be not that interesting as you thought it would be. People say I say same things over and over again, but there are others who say that's part of my charm. I mean, it's kinda hard to know who to listen to, but I just roll with it, you know..."
The PlushBabies are actually malfunctioning from the excess of information they're absorbing from the hippo's story. Compare that to the other Mediocre Melodies, who are so overwhelmed by the large number of PlushBabies that they need to hide behind stuff.
"New plan. Lure them to the hippo," Pigpatch planned.
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
As for Trash and the Gang, they are the most helpless in this fight, especially against the PlushBabies. Thanks to some quick thinking by No. 1 Crate, they have devised a plan to fend off the PlushBabies and draw their attention away from the others so they can focus on fighting the Nightmare Animatronics. After exercising some creativity and using some spare parts they brought along, they put their bizarre plan into motion.
Pan Stan has been turned into a catapult, launching rocks and other objects they can find/use as either offensive weapons or distractions.
Bucket Bob's gloves have been replaced with iron buckets as he is placed on a spinning platform, being used as a deflector for the incoming laser blasts.
Mr. Can-Do and Mr. Hugs combine to make a trash can that can suck up the PlushBabies and spit them at other PlushBabies.
No. 1 Crate is the one controlling the devices that have turned her friends into these effective defense machines. The PlushBabies are still coming in fast and they threaten to tear this plan apart, but as long as Trash and the Gang keep them at bay (and stay in one piece while doing so), they can actually contribute to this battle aside from being literal trash.
"One's trash is another's treasure," No. 1 Crate said, rather proud of herself and her friends.
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Dreadbear charges forward like a mindless beast towards Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy waits for the right moment and teleports away, causing Dreadbear to trip on a rock that Golden Freddy was hiding form his sight earlier. Dreadbear trips on the rock and gets blasted by one of Lefty's eye blasts. Despite this, Dreadbear gets back up like it's nothing. Despite his fragile-looking structure, its thick exterior is what symbolizes its durability.
"This thing won't dent," Golden Freddy complained. "We either need a screwdriver or a hammer."
Lefty hears Golden Freddy say "hammer" and interprets it as "bludgeon Dreadbear with the microphone like a hammer." Lefty charges at Dreadbear with his mic raised high. Unfortunately, Dreadbear grabs Lefty's arm before he could hit him. Dreadbear punches Lefty, knocking the black bear far away.
"Hey, that's my friend's favorite toy there!" Golden Freddy scolded.
Golden Freddy uses her "haunting" spell to turn Dreadbear into stone. She then uses a jumpscare to distort its senses and cause it to malfunction. However, these effects last only for a short time. Dreadbear is a little disoriented, but he could still see. He looks at Golden Freddy and roars, expressing his animalistic rage. No signs of common sense. Just its programming telling it to fight and destroy.
"That's no Nightmare. That's a monster," said Golden Freddy
Dreadbear roars even louder, causing the ground shake and disrupting Golden Freddy's focus. Dreadbear bites down, which casts a dark magic burst that quickly damages Golden Freddy. Dredbear scratches the dirt ground like a savage before unleashing another roar, which further affects Golden Freddy's focus in a bad way. Another "mega bite" spell from Dreadbear and Golden Freddy is feeling more and more like a lifeless shell. She barely has the strength to teleport.
"Not as powerful as he was before, but still powerful," Golden Freddy observed. "Shadow Freddy, you wanna help here?"
Nope, because Shadow Freddy is occupied with his ex-friend RXQ. The two Shadow Animatronics agreed to keep their fight to themselves, as they deemed it fitting, especially after what RXQ has done. The problem with fighting RXQ is that he has this mimic ability where he can mimic (most) abilities of others. When Shadow Freddy tried his shadow beam, RXQ threw it back at him, threatening to unscrew him. When Shadow Freddy tried a mic toss, RXQ just threw it back at him, bonking the purple bear in the head.
"Please, brother, reconsider," Shadow Freddy pleaded.
"You amuse me, brother," RXQ said, with sarcasm as he said brother. "Imagine what I can do when I go to the human's world."
"We were once human, Shadow Bonnie," Shadow Freddy reminded. "Whatever became of us, it shouldn't turn us into monsters. I once was, but the curing of my hunger helped me see the truth."
"The truth that you're now just a loyal dog to The Puppet," RXQ mocked.
"Hey, RWQFSFASXC!" Golden Freddy shouted.
"Finally. Someone got my name right," RXQ replied. "Wait a minute..."
Golden Freddy launches her soul at RXQ, turning him to stone. Before the effects wore off, Lefty and Shadow Freddy grab RXQ. Golden Freddy teleports in front of RXQ, waiting for Dredbear to attack again. Dredbear opens its mouth, preparing to bite down. Golden Freddy teleports away just as Dreadbear unleashes his "mega bite" spell. RXQ, scared on the spot, mimics the ability and turns it around against Dredbear, damaging him and staggering him until he drops on one knee.
"I expected that to dismantle it," said Golden Freddy.
"I can mimic abilities, but I can't mimic how powerful they are," said RXQ.
Golden Freddy jumpscares RXQ without warning, scaring him so much that he slips into unconsciousness (that was probably just the magic part of the jumpscare). Dreadbear, however, stands on his two feet again, still as strong as he was when the fight started.
"We're gonna be here all night," Golden Freddy complained. "Where are you, Marionette? We need you."
The Puppet is too busy being flung out of a rundown the barn. She crashes right into the windshield of a purple car parked near the barn. Nightmarionne comes flying out of the barn really fast and charges at her with his sharp tentacles. The Puppet flies up quickly, leaving Nightmarionne to stab the car's hood with his tentacles. The Puppet swoops down and claps her hands right in front of Nightmarionne, creating a burst of light magic that blinds him. She flies up behind him and summons a prize ball, which releases a large pizza that rolls towards Nightmarionne and hits him, dealing significant damage.
"Party tricks?" Nightmarionne criticized, hardly amused by the Pizza Wheel. "Show me your true power, Puppet, as I will mine."
Nightmarionne winds up his tentacles against one another, creating a large orb of nightmare magic. Nightmarionne then breaths dark bubbles into the orb and then spin-strikes it towards The Puppet. The Puppet fails to dodge as the bubble-powered orb hits her and sends her flying once again. This time, she crashes right into the black lake.
A few seconds pass and The Puppet does not resurface. Nightmarionne floats by the lake and waits.
A few more seconds later, one of The Puppet's arms rise from the lake and grab onto dry land. The other arm comes out of the lake and digs its fingers onto the black dirt. The Puppet fully emerges to the surface, looking singed and partially painted by the lake's black colors.
"Now you look like a phantom," Nightmarionne commented. "Speaking of phantoms..."
Nightmarionne turns around to finish what he started with the Phantom Animatronics. Unfortunately for him, they're gone. And they know what he was about to do to them. If they tell anyone...
"You're finished, Nightmarionne," said The Puppet. Her voice sounded husky, probably because of the black waters.
"No, not while I still exist," said Nightmarionne.
"Let's fix that, shall we?" The Puppet suggested darkly.
The Puppet snaps her fingers in front of Nightmarionne, once again taunting him with a blinding white light. She mimics his spin-strike, stretching her arms out and spinning as fast as she can, hitting him right in the face. She turns on her light magic aura and starts spinning towards Nightmarionne again. Nightmarionne casts a dark neon shield, but it does little as The Puppet's strike shatters his shield and sends him flying towards a tree. Nightmarionne slashes the tree with his tentacles in mid-air, sparing himself a rough crash. Nightmarionne digs his sharp tentacles into the tree stump, rips it out of the ground, and throws it at The Puppet. The Puppet simply destroys the incoming stump with a blast of light magic.
"What pleasure do you hope to feel when you surface to the world of the living?" asked The Puppet.
"The pleasure of relishing in the chaos I will unleash," said Nightmarionne. "Just imagine. Billions of nightmares brought to life. Billions of souls, afraid and helpless. Their fear feeding my power."
"You think bigger than Nightmare. I can respect that," The Puppet commented casually. "But I'm not gonna let you start another cycle of death."
"Death is an endless cycle. You should know that better than anyone, Puppet," said Nightmarionne. "I'm just simply adding something new to the cycle."
"You're deranged," The Puppet insulted, disturbed by her counterpart.
"And you're not?" Nightmarionne questioned. "All you had to do was set those souls free. Instead, you used them for your own personal vendetta. You bound their souls to animatronics and turned them into your puppets in your quest for vengeance."
"Maybe, but I promised them freedom in the end," said The Puppet. "That's another difference between you and me. I actually care about my peers. And what of you, Nightmarionne? You lied to them about Nightmare's death, convincing them to simply accept you as their new ruler without question."
"You lecture me of lying. You?" Nightmarionne laughed.
Nightmarionne grabs one of The Puppet's legs with her tentacles and throws her around like a rag doll, slamming her against the black dirt a couple of times. He then throws her at a Jack-O-Lantern.
"Fredbear and Ballora's cooperation were expected, but Circus Baby? You know that everything she does is for herself and for her father," said Nightmarionne. "Her father Springtrap. What makes you so certain he won't double-cross you? He may be weak, with our without magic from this realm, but he is no fool. If anyone is a fool, it's you."
The Puppet grabs a nearby Jack-O-Lantern, uses her magic to strength the flames within, and throws it at Nightmarionne. Nightmarionne dodges the flaming pumpkin, but the fire scorches his face a little. Not that he minds. Not at all.
"I have been a fool. I won't deny that," The Puppet admitted. "But I am no fool for what I am about to do."
The Puppet suddenly zooms towards Nightmarionne and holds his head tightly. The Puppet shoots light magic beams from her eyes, right into Nightmarionne's eyes. Nightmarionne tries to break free with his tentacles, but The Puppet's light magic is overloading his mind so much light magic that he can barely move. Nightmarionne screams in agony as The Puppet threatens to break him from the inside.
"Not... yet," Nightmarionne grunted in pain.
Nightmarionne stops using his arms and instead uses the power within. Channeling all of his dark magic into his mind, Nightmarionne attempts to fight back against the light magic that attempts to destroy him. Nightmarionne moves his head, adjusting his stare, giving his counterpart an even more intense glare. This glare comes with something extra. Suddenly, black beams of dark magic come out of Nightmarionne's eyes, trying to overpower The Puppet's light magic. The two marionettes glare intensely at one another as they unleash as much of their power as they can at one another. The white beams and the black beams collide and start to create a bigger, fiercer light. It grows and grows and grows until...
The light disappears in a small explosion, knocking the two puppets away from each other. The Puppet lands rougly against the dirt, while Nightmarionne crashes into a pile of Jack-O-Lanterns. Both appear overwhelmed by the explosive staring contest, so much so that they're actually trying to catch their breath.
"You're trying to rip me apart," said Nightmarionne.
"Like paper," The Puppet replied darkly.
"I don't rip that easily," said Nightmarionne. "Try again."
Nightmarionne conjures a rainy cloud that showers The Puppet with cursed rain that makes her body more vulnerable. He also throws sludge that fueled by dark magic, slowing The Puppet's speed to prevent her from countering immediately.
"Or not," Nightmarionne mocked.
Nightmarionne creates another one of his tall, rectangular blocks of dark magic. Four walls of darkness assembled to create one block of immense destruction. But that's not enough for Nightmarionne. He blows another dark bubble, only this bubble is so big that it engulfs the dark block. A severely dangerous projectile mixed with the unpredictable power of a large black bubble, both made of nightmare magic. Nightmarionne magically lifts the block right over The Puppet, who is still not strong enough to make a move. And with one swift move of his tentacles, Nightmarionne sends the dark block crashing down on The Puppet, like a sledgehammer to a little nail.
The dark block, coated with a huge dark bubble, creates a large explosion of darkness. The explosion leaves behind black and purple smoke so huge that you can see it from miles away and a crater the size of the Nightmare Manor. The smoke was taking so long to dissipate, but Nightmarionne didn't need to see to confirm The Puppet's demise. She just has to sense a soul within the crater.
"Hmm, strange," said Nightmarionne. "One second, there's nothing. The next..."
The smoke finally clears. Nightmarionne finally sees what has happened to The Puppet. The Puppet is...
"Still alive?!" Nightmarionne reacted, mildly surprised and mostly impressed.
The Puppet is holding something. It's a gift box. The box is glowing, which means something is inside. A soul. That soul leaves the box and enters The Puppet's body. The more proper word is "return." The soul returns to The Puppet. She begins to move once again, lifting her body like an actual marionette. Her body is in seriously bad shape, obviously because of Nightmarionne's most recent attack, but her soul is healing her pretty quickly. Her face slowly turns towards Nightmarionne. The white glints in her eyes. There is no trace of good will in those eyes.
"I'm done playing," The Puppet said softly but furiously.
The Puppet crosses her arms and then spreads them out, unleashing a surprise burst of light magic so bright that Nightmarionne is not only forced to close his eyes but his body is burnt like he's sitting too close to the fire. The magic from the bright light sears not only Nightmarionne's skin but also his insides, gravely weakening his power.
"It burns. It's scorching my soul. No!" Nightmarionne cried in pain.
Nightmarionne removes his tentacles from his view, only to see The Puppet float towards him at great speed and unleashes a soul-piercing jumpscare. The jumpscare not only startles Nightmarionne but it also warps his view, making it nearly impossible for him to see and focus. The Puppet summons a prize ball and opens it immediately, releasing a large red laser beam that pushes Nightmarionne away and towards the black lake. The Puppet casts a power boost spell on herself, increasing her defenses and making her attacks more powerful. She conjures a neon shield and throws it like a frisbee. The shield, however, appears to fly right pass Nightmarionne.
"Your aim not feeling good today?" Nightmarionne insulted.
Unfortunately for Nightmarionne, the shield comes back and hits him in the back of the head, dealing critical damage. The Puppet catches Nightmarionne's flying body and sends him crashing down to the ground hard with light magic beams from her eyes. The Puppet summons yet another prize ball, which fires a deadly shower of pink bubbles. Feeling these magical bubbles pop on your skin is extremely painful, as Nightmarionne can prove by his pained twitches from each bubble that rained upon him.
The Puppet conjures a sword-like object out of a combination of light magic and neon energy. She swoops down on Nightmarionne and slashes him across the face with this slasher weapon, leaving a noticeable cut on the mask. The Puppet snaps her fingers again, stunning Nightmarionne with a brief burst of light, before thrusting the slasher weapon right through his chest. After a few seconds of hearing Nightmarionne's pained growl, The Puppet pulls the slasher weapon out of his body.
Nightmarionne collapses to his knees, right in front of The Puppet. The cut on his mask and the scar on his chest remain and glow with the light magic that has profoundly weakened him. He tries to move and fight back, but he couldn't. He's is literally helpless and at The Puppet's mercy.
"Well, what are you waiting for? End it," Nightmarionne dared.
"No," The Puppet mumbled.
"What?" Nightmarionne reacted.
"You are gonna help me end this war," said The Puppet. "Your final act, your final words, they're what's gonna save Faztopia."
The Puppet grabs Nightmarionne and teleports away, taking him with her.
Meanwhile, underneath the Nightmare Manor (a.k.a. the exact replica of the very house that Springtrap's family lived in), Fredbear and Scrap Baby hurried back to their father's lab after their brief chat with Nightmarionne. Apparently, Nightmarionne spoke the truth. He has not done anything bad to Springtrap and Ballora. He just knocked them out and locked them in the same cell where Golden Freddy, Lefty, and Shadow Freddy were previously kept in. A simple push of a button is all it took to free them.
"Mommy, Daddy, are you okay?" Baby asked. "Please, wake up."
Springtrap and Ballora react quickly to their daughter's words and wake up.
"What the... Nightmarionne," Springtrap remembered. "He was here."
"We know. Baby and I had a little run-in with him recently," said Fredbear. "But we have to go, now."
"The distraction is a failure. Nightmarionne knows. And he has no doubt prepared for The Puppet's attack," said Baby.
"Agreed," said Ballora.
"But my machine," Springtrap argued.
"Will have to wait," said Fredbear. "We have to go."
"No, I've worked too hard on it. I will not leave it," Springtrap insisted.
"Dad, please, not now," Fredbear pleaded. "There are bigger things at stake here. I don't care about your stupid machine."
"How dare you talk like that to me, son?" Springtrap scolded. "After everything I've done for you..."
"Everything you've done for me?!" Fredbear interrupted, angered by his father's arrogance. "What have you done for me that's ever been good? Just because I hate my brother, it doesn't mean I don't blame you, too, for my nightmares. All of this started because of you."
Fredbear shoves his father in a disrespectful way, and he does not regret it. Ballora, Baby, and even Springtrap are surprised by Fredbear's attitude.
"A good father protects his family by being a good man, not... whatever it is you are and what you do," Fredbear condemned. "You think 30 years in a springlock suit is pain? You have no idea what true pain is, Dad. I am part of this golden suit now, because of every single person in this cage. I won't make the same bad choices all of you have made. I won't make the choices you made, Dad."
"The choices I've made? The choices I've made here is to protect all of you," Springtrap said defensively. "I am not doing this just for myself. I'm doing it for all of you. You want to be a family, don't you?"
"Not like this," said Fredbear.
"Let us finish this when we finish this war," Ballora interrupted.
Ballora grabs Springtrap by the arm and drags him as she follows Fredbear and Baby to the elevator. Springtrap tries and fails to get out of his wife's grip as he thinks about his machine. He couldn't bear to leave it alone. He wanted to see it to fruition, which meant staying here and keeping an eye on it. But his family has once again dragged him off somewhere to do something he doesn't want to do.
Unbeknownst to the family, there is something inside one of the containers of the machine. The dream energy that the machine has already harnessed from Crying Child/Fredbear is being used on this something inside. But unfortunate circumstances have forced the family away from the machine, preventing them from stopping whatever Nightmarionne has tasked it to do.
When I said this chapter was gonna be long, I wasn't kidding. I don't know what is it with me and endgame chapters that make me write for a very long time. To be honest, the fight between The Puppet and Nightmarionne could've gone on a little longer, but I tried to make sure it lasted long enough with just enough content to satisfy. This chapter starts the endgame, but it's not the end of the endgame yet. That's for the next chapter. Ooh, boy, I am so nervous.

Notes/Explanations:
1. Yes, I'm aware that the Toy Animatronics were pretty much the only ones in the good guys side who were not doing so well, and against only one animatronic - Nightmare Mangle. That's to prove The Puppet's words from earlier in the story that they're not ready. But then again, the Mediocre Melodies are not doing so hot either, apart from Mr. Hippo.
2. I've mostly kept the characters' abilities the same as their abilities from FNaF World, but I've taken a lot of liberty with the powers of The Puppet and Nightmarionne. That's because they're the most powerful animatronics in this story and I couldn't just feature their assigned abilities from the FNaF World game. I had to make that big battle between them more intense and entertaining somehow.
3. The part where Funtime Freddy shoots Bon-Bon at his target like a cannonball, that was supposed to happen earlier in this story (Chapter 14) and against Plushtrap, but I forgot. So, this is the next best thing I could do. Include that part here.
4. If you predicted that Molten Freddy was gonna be a manifestation caused by nightmare magic, then congratulations on guessing correctly. Ennard represented Baby's fear of being alone. Molten Freddy represented the regret that Funtime Freddy and Funtime Fox felt for abandoning Baby and their fear of it happening again.
5. I know I probably could've added El Chip much earlier in the story, but I will admit that updating one every 1-2 days don't help me in certain moments. Still, this is my best way to include El Chip at this point in the story, through Dee-Dee.
6. In this story, Dee-Dee's ability to add other animatronics to a battlefield can only be done if she's in her X.O.R. form (or Shadow Dee-Dee, whatever you wanna call her). She can't do it in her normal form, or that would just make her OP.
