Notes: I feel like I should warn that some parts of this chapter and its subsequent chapters will be a little ... Adult. I am going to work hard to keep it T rated so there won't be anything inappropriate or explicit, But, that being said, it will be VERY strong T, so reader discretion is strongly suggested. Also more Eliza and Wyatt soon, I promise!
Bucky helped his parents load the last of their luggage into the waiting shuttle that would take them to the port for their cruise.
"Are you sure we haven't forgotten anything?" His mother said worriedly as she checked over all the bags
"If we did ... We don't need it, honestly dear, you go through this every year!" His father said with a laugh as they both hugged Bucky.
Every year since he could remember, one of his father's big time investment clients had gifted him with four all expenses paid first class tickets for a caribbean cruise for their anniversary, which they always shared with his aunt and uncle.
"We'll see you in two weeks, sweetie." His mother said as she and his father climbed into the shuttle
"And remember, no loud parties... We don't want to have to hear from the neighbors when we get back!" His father said with a stern look.
"And absolutely NO having that girl over!" His mother said, eyeing him sternly over the top of her glasses as the driver slid the door to the shuttle closed.
Bucky blew out a frustrated breath as he waved solemnly at the shuttle as it disappeared around the bend.
He didn't feel like throwing a party and having tons of people over, nowadays, there was only ONE person he wanted to spend his time with.
Aside from their dates, and brief, but VERY passionate stolen moments on his front porch, he hadn't gotten to spend much alone time at all with Wynry since their parents had caught them blowing by second base and fast approaching third a little over a month ago.
He had been waiting for this day when they could FINALLY have some REAL time alone, but much to his chagrin, his parents were no fools, and they seemed to be able to read his mind.
He considered going through with his plans anyway, rules be damned, but he also had some VERY nosy neighbors, some who did NOT approve of his relationship with a non human, and they would most CERTAINLY rat him out.
His face suddenly brightened as an idea came over him. Of course! Why didn't he think of it before! He scooped up his phone and dialed Wynry's number.
She picked up on the first ring.
"Hey, Bucky! What's up?"
"Hey, I have an idea how we can FINALLY get a chance to spend some time together ... ALONE. Pack an overnight bag and meet me at Mazy's this evening around seven."
Her pace quickened with excitement and anticipation as thoughts of what that might entail flooded into her head
"I'll be there." She said, her tone of voice told him that this had been as hard for her as it was for him.
"Okay ... See you then." He said as he ended the call and bounded up the stairs to his room to pack.
Wynry met him at his car in the parking lot of Mazy's with her overnight bag slung over her shoulder.
"Hey!" He said as he took it from her and loaded it into the back of his car.
"Hey." She said shyly. Then, in stark contrast to her shy demeanor, she rushed to him and kissed him.
"I know, I've missed you, too." He said when they finally parted
"I will admit, this has sucked." She said
He grinned at her. "Well, that ends tonight, I have a surprise for you, but first, what do you say we get something to eat?"
She smiled that sweet smile of hers. "I think that sounds great." She said as she slipped her arm through his as they walked inside.
"Ah! Bucky and Wynry! So nice to see you again will that be the usual?" Mazy said as she readied her pad.
Bucky grinned. "You know us so well."
"Of course I do, that's my job." She quipped in reply as she finished scribbling on her pad and bustled off to put in their order.
"So ... Where are we going?" Wynry asked, unable to help herself, the anticipation was killing her.
"My family owns this awesome beach house, secluded, with it's own private section of beach. We normally only use it in the summer, and with it being the off season, we'll practically have the whole beach to ourselves."
"That sounds amazing!" She said excitedly as Mazy arrived with their order, half meat lovers, half vegetable, and they promptly dug in.
They traveled in comfortable silence, Wynry watched as the lights of Seabrook and Zombietown and their surrounding suburbs slowly gave way to beach as the dark ocean loomed in front of them.
Bucky however was deep in thought, he knew that his parents didn't entirely accept the fact that he was in a relationship with a non human. They had never actually come out and SAID it, but they didn't have to, their actions and their attitude said it for them.
They has thought that it was just a phase he was going through , and that was why he supposed they were so accepting of his and Wynry's relationship. As soon as he became clear that it wasn't merely just a phase is when their attitudes did a complete turn around.
Ever since that night they had caught them, and when he had told them that he was in love with her things had changed. First, he was only allowed to have her over when they were home, then, as things got more serious between them, they disallowed it all together.
"What are you thinking about? You look so serious." Wynry's voice cut through his thoughts.
He offered her a smile as he put his hand over hers
"Nothing ... It doesn't matter, the important thing is that we get to spend some time together."
Her forehead creased with concern, but to his relief, she didn't press the topic. Which was good, because that was not a conversation he wanted to have right now. Right now, he just wanted to enjoy their time together, and deal with the idiocy of social politics later.
There was a time not very long ago when he didn't consider them idiotic, but love was really good at opening a person's eyes ... And their heart.
For the first time in his LIFE , he was truly happy. He was done living up to everyone else's expectations, he was now officially an adult, and he was going to live his life how HE wanted WITH who he wanted and anyone who has a problem with that would just have to deal with it ... His parents included. He hasn't wanted a rift between him and his parents, but the rift was their doing, not his.
"Oh ... Wow!" Wynry's excited gasp roused him from his thoughts as they pulled into the driveway
"I take it you approve?" He said with a grin as he got out and fetched their bags
"It's amazing!" She said as she craned her neck upwards to gaze at the beautiful house.
"My parents have a cleaning lady come twice a week, so it should be pretty clean." He said as he sorted through the keys on his keychain until he found the right key and unlocked the door.
"Wow!" Wynry said as she walked in and turned in a circle to admire the twenty foot vaulted ceilings of the entryway and living room. The house had an open floor plan with a large, open and inviting kitchen.
The paint scheme was a cute pastel blue and the beach vibe was present through out the house from the seashell framed mirrors to the whicker furniture.
"Come on, I want to show you something, it's one of my favorite things about this house." He said as he took her hand and let her upstairs and through one of the bedrooms.
"Oh my gosh!" She gasped as he led her out onto a huge deck off the second floor that looked out into the calm, glassy ocean below.
"It's beautiful, right?" He said with a smile as he joined her at the railing.
"It's gorgeous, thanks for bringing me here." She replied as she put her hand over his.
"I've ...never brought a girl here before ... Ever ... You're the first." He suddenly blurted out.
He pulled her against him.
"You're the FIRST." He repeated emphatically.
The implications of that one simple statement sent shivers down her spine.
"You're MY first, too." She said, her voice barely above a whisper as she placed her hand against his cheek.
Their lips met and all the feelings and emotions they both had been forced to keep at Bay for so long finally spilled forth. She let out a growl against his mouth as she pushed him back onto one of the lounge chairs that were arranged in a circle around a table with a huge beach umbrella.
The small logical part of his brain that was still managing to function told him that they should move this inside.
Although they were pretty secluded, it was very likely that their evening was probably going to get pretty ... Wild ... And the last thing he wanted was to have the monster patrol called on them.
"We ... Should ... Probably go ... Inside." He said, trying to get his muddled brain to formulate words correctly as she found a particularly sensitive spot just below his ear, causing goosebumps to erupt all over his body.
She wasted no time, she hopped lightly off him, grabbed him by the hand and pulled him inside.
Gone was she shy, quiet, and almost timid girl and in her place was a wild, primal, sensual creature. Her hair fell around her face in wild waves, and her eyes glowed brightly against the darkness of the bedroom.
He quickly shrugged out if his jacket and pulled his shirt over his head as she did the same with hers.
He swallowed thickly as he took in the sight of her standing before him in nothing but a bra and jeans. Oh damn ... and it was a sexy lacy one, too.
So many emotions crashed into him at once like waves; excitement, fear, anxiety ... this was happening... this was actually happening! It wasn't just a dream, which ... he had had his fair share of.
Still, the small portion of the responsible side of his brain that was somehow still functioning stopped him from going any further.
He took her hands in his.
"Wynry, before we ...do this, I want to make sure ... is this what you REALLY want? Because if not, that's totally okay. You know ... no pressure. " He said, his words coming out uncharacteristically awkward.
Wynry however suddenly jerked him against her and kissed him heatedly
"If I didn't want to go all the way, I wouldn't have come with you tonight." She growled into his ear as she pulled him towards the bed.
