'Living the Dream' is now on a temporary hiatus in terms of new chapter updates.

I know what you're thinking. 'Is this another dead 'Tangled' story?', 'Have all my hopes and dreams been crushed?'

Well, you're probably not thinking that last part, but I am here to tell you that no, that is not the case. If anything, I'm writing this note to you all for a reason that's the complete opposite. Because I'm not giving up on this thing; instead, I'm focusing on it now more than ever.

For the time being, I will be spending my writing time to go back and edit/overlook previous chapters in this story. This is a process I decided I wanted to go through with last Sunday night, and ever since then, I have been doing nothing else with my free time except for re-reading and re-writing portions of this story.

I am doing such in chronological order. Already, Chapters 1-7 have been re-edited and re-written, with Chapters 1-6, in particular, re-posted onto the site. So, if math is right, then I have approximately 22 more chapters to go (along with the approximately other 14-15 or so future chapters I have written in my Google Drive that have not been posted yet).

I am doing this because I am, honestly, ashamed of some of the sloppiness of my past writings here. I'm starting to really take this story seriously and have many different, varying ideas for chapters/story-lines and I want to be sure that I can provide you all with the best reading experience possible.

I do not intend to heavily change any of the major story-lines that have been posted up to Chapter 29 (aka, the highest chapter visible to the public). If you're reading this now, then you've probably read all 29 chapters up to this point, and you know that this story's first huge arc is the Ballroom Dance 3-part saga. I am telling you this right now: Chapter 7 has been heavily re-written. The confrontation between Rapunzel and Eugene has been completely re-done, but the way the story progresses from that point will not change. Eugene is still going to spend the week in the cell (though, it's probably going to be a more unpleasant week now), he is still going to sit down with Frederic and break down before the highness before finally seeing Rapunzel and offering her, wholeheartedly, his forgiveness.

As of this moment, the new version of Chapter 7 has not been posted yet, and may very well not be posted until I am finished with all of the other edits.

So, yeah; I'm sorry that for the time being there won't be any new updates, but I hope that knowing I am not scrapping or forgetting this story for the time being is enough to sate your hunger for some awesome writing.

I want to use this moment to thank you all, especially the people who have been here since day 1, for sticking with me up to this point. 'Tangled' in general means a lot to me and I am so happy that I've been given this outlet to share my writing and my take on this truly awesome story.

And.. that's really all I've got to say. Sorry for the rambling, and sorry for the few of you who received emails for this. I didn't know of any other way I could get through to all of you to inform of such big news.

I hope I'm able to return soon with updates to this story. If you're craving some new content, feel free to go re-read Chapters 1-6 because again, as I stated earlier, they are done and have been updated to fit into the story. Not much is different in them now, its just that the writing and dialogue has been looked at and re-done with a more intense eye.

Also, before I forget, some of the Chapter names have been re-written as well to fit into formatting. Here's a sneak peak/list of what the current story that's posted consists of (listed in chronological order):
