Lightpaw stepped into the cool shadows of the medicine den, lifting her nose a little at the sweet smell of nectar and honey.

Once her eyes adjusted to the dimness, Lightpaw saw Duskmoon crouched at the back of the den, sorting through some dry leaves. The light brown medicine cat whirled around at the sound of Lightpaw's pawsteps.

"Oh, it's you, Lightpaw. I thought it was that strange cat again. Anything I can help you with?" she mewed.

"Actually, Yes," Lightpaw replied "Firstly, what's this about a strange cat? And secondly, I've been having weird dreams."

Duskmoon's eyes widened. "Who did you see in those dreams?" she asked almost nervously, with her ears starting to press back and her neck fur starting to bristle.

"It was Windstar and Thunderstar." Lightpaw replied, suddenly wondering whether she should have said anything in the first place.

"Ok. It's nothing to worry about, as far as I can tell," Duskmoon meowed, her posture relaxing "I had a strange, mangy cat in my dream. Actually, now that I think about it, she looked a bit like you, except her eyes were yellow, and her head was a bit longer, like . . . Crowmia's."

The she-cats eyes suddenly widened in realization. She sat down, hard and fast, then got up again and shooed Lightpaw out of her den.

When Lightpaw was back in the bright, open air, she looked back, wondering what had just happened. She decided to ask Crowmia if she could go hunt, to clear her head.

She found the ThunderClan deputy sitting in the shade of the Highrock, discussing the previous night's Gathering with Sparkstar. Lightpaw padded over, then ran straight into Sandypaw, who had two mice dangling from his jaws.

"Look where you're going!" he hissed at her.

Lightpaw just blinked at the sandy tom, before reaching out her wingtip and stroking it across his spine. He turned to look back, eyes widening in fear as he saw that thin air was touching him. Then, he turned and fled, dropping his prey. Lightpaw followed him with her gaze, then ran after him.

"What happened?" she asked him, trying her best to fake fear.

"A g-ghost touched me." he hissed, so low it was just a whisper.

Lightpaw smirked silently, fluffing her wings in glee at the fear scent radiating off Sandypaw. Then, after a small pause, Sandypaw turned back to Lightpaw.

"You were probably ten times more scared of it than I was!" he mewed proudly "Maybe it was a cat from StarClan, who wanted to send me on a quest.

Lightpaw doubted this very much, and so replied "No way! I wasn't scared at all!"

She waited a few moments longer, and then Sandypaw's expression changed from that of a slightly scared, but still proud expression to that of a cocky, about-to-be-terrified-out-of-his-mind-by-a-"ghost" expression.

Lightpaw stroked his spine again, this time with the underside of her wing, just to make sure he was completely terrified. Her plan worked, and the tom fled again, racing to the other side of the clearing.

He stopped by his mentor, Flashstrike, asking to leave the camp, then, after he got permission, he dashed out into the forest, his tail still fluffed and his blue eyes still wide in pure terror.

Lightpaw watched him go, feeling better about the weird dreams. Then something clicked in her mind. The more she thought about it, the more she was sure it was true. The cat in Duskmoon's dream wasn't just any cat. It was some sort of cat related to both Lightpaw and Crowmia, meaning that it could potentially hold the secret as to why they both had wings.

But these thoughts slipped her mind as Lightpaw thought about Thunderstar again. The founder of ThunderClan was going to tell her, either way. The white cat just looked a bit like Crowmia and her. No reason to be special.
