Earth-48

A coiled portal widens its body, to produce an opening for travellers to step in breach to another world. Which stands for Oliver and Kara pass on forward.

After crossing between two worlds, Kara's eyes vibrate, no connection to the world, just herself. The view on her surroundings.

Colossal towers, lit with millions of colours, swapped in each second, like a rainbow. Space crafts hovering. Robot humanoid figures coursing in patrol.

It's all too unrealistic, for them. Their world is far from reaching this level of advancement.

"Oliver that's...", Kara incompletely lined.

"Elegant", Oliver completed her line. "I know, never expected to rule out a world where Krypton and Earth merged". When Kara heard it, she was astonished, her feet dusts the shake of an earthquake.

"Krypton and Earth merged?"

"Apparently, this world blends the sources of Earth and Krypton. Like it genuinely existed"

Kara contracted herself from speaking anymore. This world glows, an era of peace and prosperity.

"Hey isn't that-", Kara failed to utter, a degree, in which she lost in words when she launches her body down the voided area.

"Kara!". Kara steeped back, forgetting her boyfriend was left behind.

Taking Oliver by her arms, the two universally cocked their beats on numerous stores and operations, whilst gliding in mid air, thanks to Earth's sun.

"Is this what you always dreamt of being in?", he questions, friendly.

Kara tilts her head to his face. "I've always dreamt of being in Krypton. But I never imagined an Earth administer the psychology and technologies of Krypton to their wakening. Especially these terrestrials we're looking at".

Oliver and Kara glance from their side to a various and countless number of species.

"Not humans"

"Mixed aliens"

Both beam their eyes adjacent to each other.

"Well?", Oliver questions, directing their next phase. "What are you waiting for? Take us down".

Kara deems a smile as the two pace over to a near foot path that's structured shelflike.

Two torch their eyes upon thousands of mills, whilst walking down the detailed path.

"Look Oliver". Kara incited Oliver to listen to her. "They even constituted a learning centre for people to speak Kryptonese".

"We both know what we expect", Oliver pointed out, which Kara establishes a smile, before running off, with him.

The two continued down their path, going through various shops whilst taking notes from each grind. Businesses. Shard of valuables. Food, both earth-made, and krypton-made. Earth-shaped and krypton-shaped furniture. Toys, gadgets and cool techs. Commercial technologies.

"I'm so hyped!", Kara yelled, like a school girl. Turning her body to Oliver, which dazed her into spotting something. "They even have a bar".

Oliver glimpses, wherever Kara pointed her finger at. "A bar".

They'd be happy to deck themselves into drinking, but not knowing about the this world's system of money, could be a trouble, should they attempt to grab a dine.

"Now don't get all puddled up in here, there's more worlds. Can't tell of they'd rival this world's compartments though"

"Let's stick around in here for a little while", Kara offers, hands on her thigh, hoping Oliver would willingly accept it with no regret.

Oliver displayed a tantalising smile for 6 seconds, stopping in end.

"If that's what you want Kara, I'll always be there by your side. Never leaving your back", he truthfully spoke.

Kara dents an uncontrollable wide hug, circling Oliver, around his whole body, lifting him, almost crushing him in a potent time.

"Okay Kara", grunted the latter. "You can let go now".

Girl of Steel gently raises him down.

"Sorry. Couldn't help it"

"It's fine. I'm glad you're finally assenting your...happy side"

The two exchange a smile, holding hands, taking off.

A man in black clothing. Rears himself by the ledge, from the biggest sky-scraped tower, using machinery binoculars, looking closely at two figures he's never seen.

'Need to keep an eye of them', the man locks his thought in. Soon, he leaps out his current place, launching himself in air, impelling his sharp blade, consisted of rope, flowing his body from tower to tower. To spy on strangers, ones he's now unfamiliar with.

Oliver and Kara shipped in a park, after noticing the existence of it in this world.

The colour of its background, it's bluish green. On Earth it was green. It's like the moulding of both planets branded a mooding texture. Water fountain stays natural, same as several Earths, assuming they're even the same as Kara's, and Oliver's.

Kara groans, smelling the essence of peace. "So refreshing. I could nest in here for days".

Oliver crows.

"You sure you're alright with this?"

"With what?", Oliver questioned, wondering what's laying in Kara's mind now.

"Your promise with Alex". Two words. Those words stopped Oliver, not phasing any further.

"Kara. Alex wanted you to have a better life. A life bundled of ease and contentment", the latter explained. Though Kara wasn't really happy cause Alex made a sacrifice that pained their bond. "This might no be the best answer you'd want to hear, but know that when the time comes. When it comes, you'll be ready to revert to your old ways".

She knows what Oliver is explicitly referring to. Before Kara states her feelings, an unknown explosion occurred.

"What was that?", Kara questionably posits.

"I have no idea. Whatever it was, it came from the city", he marked, tilting his eyes to Kara. "We should move".

"And pretend that never happened"

"Kara. Alex-"

"I'm way on top of that Oliver!", Kara shot back. "Suppose there are people there, you know, as well as me, that we don't let them die".

Oliver motioned in silence, ejecting from defeat, Kara believed he did.

"Come on. Let's check the state", Kara chargingly ordered, taking Oliver by her hands.

During the time they sped off, an unknown figure, unbekownst to Oliver and Kara, spied on them.

'Who are these people?", man, in black, questioned in head. 'They're both human and Kryptonian, but they're not distinct in nature to this world'.

As he soon triumphs his thoughts away, the clothed man takes off, via long roped blade, studded on ranged on nearby scraper, pulling his body to that point.

Earth-48 is a reference to the year 1948 for when Krypton exploded, by collapse from red sun, in DC Comics.

I had a lot of difficulties thinking about what could I put in this story, as it's focused as an in-between passage between the events of Arrow Season 3 and before the start of Arrow Season 4. Finally made up my mind. Making mini-chapters as well as interior chapter focused on particular aspects of crises occurrences.
