The feeling that followed was the best thing Will had ever experienced. The feeling that followed from being underwater for a stretched amount of time and coming up for air. The feeling that came when you put on glasses for the first time and everything was clear, the details of everything becoming much sharper. The feeling of baking a fresh batch of cookies and taking a bite out of the first one, straight from the oven.
The feeling of freedom, the feeling of clarity, and the feeling of happiness all wrapped in one.
As he absorbed the power, he felt all his wounds heal immediately. It had so long since he hadn't felt pain. He levitated in place and felt his body crackle with energy. He was back as his original, powerful self.
Bill had gone from having one of the best days of his life, to one of the worst. Again.
As he was just about to reach out to absorb the powers of the reverse twins, he was suddenly shoved to the side by his stupid counterpart, who apparently decided he wanted his powers back.
Bill watched in horror as Will's powers came back to him, lightning crackling around his body, his eyes glowing with energy.
And just like that, Bill's shock faded and anger ran through his veins. He had come so close, so close! Again! Only to be shoved aside by this sniveling, pathetic excuse for a dream demon. His anger only grew when Will snapped his fingers and everyone was released from their chains.
Bill turned red as it became the only color he could see. "You!" He growled and charged at Will, ready to tear apart his molecules. Will dodged, kicking off the tree he had climbed just moments before. But Bill thought fast and grabbed Will's foot, and slammed him into it. Will gasped in pain.
Dipper and everyone around him stared in shock as the dream demons fought. Lasers shot out of their eyes and they flew around, shifting sizes and between their monster forms, not caring how many trees they knocked down. The ground shook every time one of the redwoods fell to it. Fires raged all around them, the smoke burning his eyes and lungs.
"Uh, the town's bound to notice this, right?" Mabel pointed out. Dipper's eyes widened. That's right. What's the town going think of all these tremors and smoke billowing in the air?
Suddenly, an idea came to him. He rushed over to the unconscious form of his counterpart and took the silver coin from his pocket. Mabel brightened. "Oh, great idea!"
Grunkle Stan looked at the coin in confusion. "Wait, what are they doing?" He asked. Ford put a hand on his shoulder, a smile on his face. "Just trust them."
Dipper hurriedly flipped the coin, it flashing purple in midair. He caught the coin and looked around. "Wait, where is he? Did it work?" The ground shook again.
"Yes?" Said a very proper voice from behind him, making him jump. Dipper turned around and there Tad was, standing like there weren't two dream demons beating the crap out of each other behind him.
Gideon shook his head. "Wait, there's more of them?!" "Just let them do their thing." Paz said, her eyes sparkling in wonder, like she was watching the finale of her tv show.
Mabel took over the conversation. "Hi, yes, we were wondering if you can-" "If I can help with the fight? No. If I can keep the town from seeing or hearing it? Yes." Tad answered simply. Mabel smiled. "Perfect! That'd be wonderful, thank you!" She said. Tad nodded and disappeared.
"Okay, now what should we do about that?" Dipper pointed to the fight raging on that was gaining further away from them. Gideon shrugged. "Maybe just hope and pray it doesn't hurt anyone or anymore of the forest?" He suggested, the ground shaking once again as another redwood fell. Ford nodded. "Might be the only thing we can do." He agreed.
Dipper looked on as the two demons fought, laser to laser and fire to fire. It actually kind of reminded him of the Superman fight against Zod in that one movie.
Will felt himself slowly learn how to use his powers again. Honestly, he was kind of glad for this fight. It was giving him a chance to relearn everything.
He shot a laser at Bill, who met it with another laser. Will launched himself at Bill, wrapping his hands around his throat. They both stopped suddenly as they hit something. The barrier, Will realized. Their battle must have reached the edge of town.
Bill kicked out at Will causing him to let go. Bill then grabbed him and shoved him into the barrier himself, knocking the air out of Will's lungs. He released a giant burst of energy, knocking Bill back into a tree.
As they fought, Will barely dodging the death beams shooting towards him, he tried to think of a way to end this fight. To stop Bill, once and for all. Trying to kill him might not work out, since he seemed to always have a back-up plan or a way out, but he'd always cause trouble as long as he was alive and had his powers.
A idea struck him like lightning. He just had to hope it was possible.
He flew and shot a power laser at Bill, miraculously hitting him and knocking him into the ground forcefully, leaving a giant crater in the ground. Will gathered all his energy, all his power, pouring in from every reserve, and shot (yet another) beam towards Bill.
Bill felt the force hit him and push him further into the ground. He couldn't breathe, and it felt like the force was ripping through his very essence. He thought this was the end, that he was to be finished off by this weaker, pathetic version of himself.
Finally, it ended and Bill was surprised to find himself still alive. He achingly sat up and watched Will slowly glide down to the ground as Mabel, Dipper, Paz, and Gideon rushed over to stand next to him, the Stan twins staying behind to make sure the Gleeful twins were okay. Bill stood shakily and laughed. "You should of finished me off while you had the chance." He shot his arm out, planning to wrap the pathetic demon in chains. Why didn't I just think to do that before? He shook off the thought. Better now than never.
But, as his arm shot out and the entire group flinched, nothing happened. He looked at it in confusion. He snapped, thinking that would work instead. Nothing happened. He snapped again, panic rising in his chest. The Pines and Gleeful's all felt relief wash over them.
"Your games are over, Bill." Will said, pride and relief evident in his tired voice. Bill looked at his hands in horror as he dropped to his knees. Dipper watched the demon as his yellow dyed hair became a solid ebony black, and his sharp suit shifted into nothing more than a yellow t-shirt and black jeans. "What... what did you do to him?" He asked Will. Will walked up to Bill and went on one knee to meet the demon's eyes, but Bill kept his gaze on his shaking hands.
"I turned him human." Will replied, not quite believing it himself. The Dipper, Mabel, Paz and Gideon's jaws all collectively dropped. Bill jerked his head up to stare at Will with pure hatred, finally realizing what had been done. Then he punched him in the face.
Will gasped as he was knocked to the ground. Bill moved forward as if to make further damage, but Dipper rushed forward and caught him, wrapping his arms around his torso, before he could hurt Will anymore. "Woah, woah, calm down time!" He said, as Bill tried to escape his grip. "Wow, you are a lot stronger than you look, man." Dipper added, as Bill yelled and growled and pushed against Dipper with all his might, angered beyond words.
Mabel, Paz, and Gideon ran up to Will to make sure he was okay. He sat up and scooted away from the raging form of Bill, who was still trying to escape Dipper's arms. Mabel put a hand on his shoulder. "Maybe you guys should go home." She said. Will, Paz, and Gideon nodded quickly.

Yay! I hope that was a good climax for you guys. Can't tell you how many times I've revised this thing.
I've had an amazing time writing this, but I'll save the big spiel for the last chapter, which should be the next one. So, look out for that, it should be out sometime tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and I'll see ya later, entertainers!
