(A week later, crisp house)

Christie and Lucy stood in front of Christie's bedroom mirror getting ready for another day of racing. Lucy was there because she slept over. Lucy brushed her hair while Christie put on her pearls and earrings. Lucy even surprised Christie with another piece of jewelry she got for her recently

"For me? You shouldn't have" Christie joked

Lucy had given her a silver bracelet with a dangling heart charm with her name on the back of it, it was identical to one Lucy wore

"I love it, but you know Vot else I vont?" Christie asked

She pointed to lucys heart necklace.

"Zat vould look beautiful on me" said Christie

"Consider it done, we'll go after the races today to the Internet" said Lucy "You have a girlfriend, doesn't she find it weird I get you this stuff?"

"I've told Linke you only do zis because we're best friends and you're not into me like zat, are you?" She asked

"Nope" Said Lucy

Christie put a bow in her hair and Lucy threw on her jacket to finish their looks. Both girls grabbed their purses and headed out, it was gonna be another great day for racing.

(At the track)

Kevin was preparing his kart for another day of racing, he really hoped today would be his day. As much as he liked how his sister was getting attention, he was growing jealous of it. He no longer was the favorite kid racer. His own sister stole his title, besides racing he didn't have much to live for, he wasn't good at much else.

"Greetings programs"

He looked to see Lucy and Christie arrived and were going to talk to their friends before the race. Kevin snuck towards Lucys kart and glitched inside some sticky chocolate bombs, a special present for Lucy when she reached a certain speed. Kevin managed to sneak back to his kart as he saw Lucy was hugging mocho and Christie was showing off her new bracelet to some other kids. He put on his helmet and prepared his kart.

Today was figured to be a slow day for racing, so the racers didn't expect much gameplay from the gamers. When the first quarter was put in, Lucy was chosen.

"The users have chosen me, I'm not surprised" said Lucy

The game started and the racers zoomed off, dodging Gumballs and driving through cakes and ice cream, the usual stuff. To Kevin's surprise the bombs didn't go off, Lucy hadn't tapped out her speed, so he had to get creative when using power ups. Try as he might, his kart simply wasn't fast enough to reach her, lucys light cycle upgrade made her engine faster. He lost several races to her. This made him upset as the day went on.

"There should be some kind of rule against upgrades from other games" he muttered to himself "why won't those bombs go off?" He asked himself

Around the last race of the day, Kevin finally got his wish. He finally caught up with Lucy and was at her speed. He didn't care if his kart blew up now, he had to beat his sister. Lucy stepped on her gas pedal, wanting to get maximum speed. When she got too fast, the bombs went off, causing Lucy to miss a jump and crash into a giant cupcake. Her light cycle split from her kart and she drove off the cupcake, before eventually crashing into a giant jawbreaker. Lucy smacked hard into the jawbreaker while her cycle blew up into pixelated pieces.

By the time Lucy got back to the starting line, the roster race had ended, she was angry, but tried not to show it, especially to her family and friends

"If anyone needs me, I'm going to TRON. I need a new light cycle" said Lucy

Lucy grabbed her purse from her kart pit and headed out. Kevin went another direction with Jr.

"You sure Vot you vont to do is a good idea?" Jr asked

"If Lucy thinks her kart can be faster than mine with an upgrade, then so can mine" Kevin replied

(TRON, sometime later)

Lucy was angrily throwing an identity disc weapon at grid bugs in the IO tower level of the game. The grid bugs multiplied quickly, which made her throw faster. All the while the theme to the movie TRON played overhead. As she threw, a glowing white and red person approached her

"Miss Lucy"

"Sark, what do you want?" Lucy asked

"You have a visitor, a friend of yours it seems" Said Sark

"They May see me. Is there anyway to turn this music off? I mean it's not really that long and it loops constantly, I've been here a half hour" Said Lucy

"I'm afraid not. Program, you may see the queen of the grid" Sark told someone

Christie walked up to Lucy.

"If this is about that necklace you wanted it's in my apartment, ready for you" Said Lucy

"Zis isn't about zat, you ok?" Christie asked

"My brother tried to sabotage me and succeeded, do I look ok?" Lucy sarcastically asked

"In his defense, you vere very overpowered. Maybe he vos jealous" said Christie

"He should understand I need this more than him. He has other things going for him. I don't. I'll make a new kart, and I'll be the best racer in the game" Said Lucy

Christie turned away

"I hope zis rivalry doesn't tear you 2 apart. You may not realize zis, but you 2 need each ozer" Said Christie

She then walked away, heading for lucys apartment to get her necklace. Lucy continued to throw her disc at the grid bugs
