Oliver and Kara had brought Bruce's mind-entering device, from Gotham, and brought Barbara long with them. The latter initially stood by Dick's side but was heavily convinced not to intervene as it would cause suspicion.

Braniac and Winn were editing on the device's hardware, to ensure no obstacles or problems would occur to them.

Everyone gathered in the Kent Farm shed. Clark. Lois, latter whom carries the child with her. Barbara. Kara. Oliver. Mia. William. J'onn. Mon-El. Imra. They all assembled in the the big appearing hall with Winn and Brainy finishing the last steps.

Whilst that is reaching in due, Barbara tilts to Kara with a worried expression in which Kara was swiftly aware of.

"We'll get him back Barbara. I promise", Kara tries to reassure Barbara as she places a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Part of me believes you will Kara. But that's not what worries me", Barbara proclaims.

"Then what's bothering you?", Kara questioned.

Barbara takes a momentary glance at Kara before turning her gaze elsewhere. "You remember what the Joker did; to me?", Barbara asks as she gives way for Kara to look down at her current state. "He shot my spine, paralysed me. Imprisoned my father in a run-down amusement park, beating him and torturing him".

"By then at minimal typical values: Batman saved your father-"

"But it didn't stop you from ending Harley's life", Barbara cuts off Kara's line, making a point. She then turns to focus on Dick fixedly. "And now Dick is presumed to be in a coma stasis". Her volume was very low that it made it so quiet that not even Mon-El could hear it. Nor Imra.

"You don't know that Barbara. There's still a chance to save him. Just have faith in me", Kara points out, keeping a hand settled on her arm. "Do you trust me?".

Barbara fully peels her eyes focally centred on Kara, taking seconds to ponder on how far she's about to grow lenient on Kara. She immediately nodded, finally having the belief in faith that Kara will rescue him.

Their conversation halted as Winn and Brainy arrived to their point.

"Well?", Oliver intending to know.

"We've managed to sustain the device for prolonged periods, without receiving any headaches or nausea, or any sort in the matter", Winn assured.

"I still compensate on how this Batman has figured to use the brains to produce such eminent techs that not even the smartest intellects, up to the 21st Century, could compete with his physical brain power. Arguably Lex would be better as he presupposes the smartness beyond any human being in the universe, though he could never puzzle out Superman's secret identity", said Brainy.

"There a lot of things you don't know about him", Superman said.

"For someone that's a closest ally of a Bat you sure know him very well", Lois remarks, displaying a smile that almost got Clark to chuckle a little.

Oliver rolled his eyes from his direction to Clark to Winn and Brainy. "How many can it hold?".

"Theoretically it should reckon up to two people. Anything beyond it can cause severe breakdowns and toll on the body and mind connection", Brainy answered.

"Then I'll go", Kara volunteers.

"Kara I don't think it's a-"

"Save it Ollie I've got a friend to rescue from his coma", Kara said. She then glances to Barbara's side. "And a friend to inspirit". This got Barbara to put a smile on her face.

"Then I'll go too", Oliver admits himself to a cause, astounding the others around him. "If my wife is going, then I need to be 100% certain she'll be back in safe hands".

"Never colder than the bed where you lay?", Kara questioned.

The two advanced forward with Oliver not responding Kara's question. The two were given wishes from Clark, the latter hoping they'll make it in unpuzzled pieces.

Inside Dick's Mind

A veil of light in the form of two humanoids pitches in an unknown world, where depicted to have no atmosphere. Oliver and Kara's prime colours fade in to their respective forms.

"Are we in the right place?", Kara questioned, indirectly gazing at Oliver.

"It's not a place Kara. It's a world on one's subconsciousness", Oliver corrects. "And yes we may have reached inside Dick's mind".

"How can you be sure?", Kara asked, whilst her eyes balled on her surroundings. Blackness thickens around them at most.

"Look", Oliver redirects Kara's gaze by gesturing through his finger. The two stare at an appeared image that's grained, merged with the grey and black tones of the displayed thing.

"Wow. It looks just like that thirties film Jekyll and Hyde", Kara described, overseeing an imaged view of a man in an unrecognised suit of blue and white attire, tortured by a man whom paints a red tone on his head.

More and more images started popping in their sight.

"Wow", Kara repeats surprisingly. Each image showcasing a variety of events that enfolds conflicts. "These are not Dick's memories".

"Some of them look to be out of the date. A Super-double. An evil Flash. The Legends facing against Vandal Savage. I don't recall Dick ever travelling to different universes", said Oliver.

"Likewise", said Kara.

They continued to walk forward, feeling the obscured floor to have physical layers embedded under them. What their eyes see is a long, long narrowed way that seems to have no new route, or side. Only images across the narrow are seen, deviating from everything else.

"This could go on forever. Like we're in the fare", Kara describes.

"That's because this will be a loop of imagery; one that will go on forever". This unperceived voice prompted Kara and Oliver to twirl their bodies to confront the unknown being with their fighting stances.

As Kara refocuses her gaze at the entity before them, she excesses in awe as she overlooks a lady, wearing tight black suit, imaged a plain symbol of something that Kara fought before. The latter shortly gasps in an infuriating low tone, one Oliver noticed.

"Kara?", Oliver calls, which caused Kara to snap herself back into concentration.

"It's a Worldkiller", Kara concluded, based from her quick inspection on the woman before them.

"A Worldkiller?", Oliver exclaims. "I thought you took care of them years ago".

"Appears I was wrong for a long time", Kara said.

The Worldkiller entity grinds her face into a viscous smile, amused at Kara's appeared dumbness.

"You thought you could defeat us Kara Zor-El? You're just as pathetic as the rest of your kind. So foolish. So dumbly predictive. Makes you weak, though that part far differentiates to how you Kryptonians operate", said the Worldkiller.

"Who are you?", Kara demands, while her fists clench profoundly.

"What my name is, is none of your concern. Or your business", said the female.

"How did you get here?", Kara demands.

"I was once born as a someone who is entitled to kill Kryptonians. Including immature pests like you. Weak. Useless. Defiant", said the Worldkiller.

Supergirl is almost instinctively driven to engage the Worldkiller before her as her fists are prepared to strike.

"Now that you're here; the endgame will be served", Worldkiller said.

"Endgame?", Oliver exclaims.

Supergirl was about to leap forward, but was averted by Oliver lifting his hand, positioned to stop her.

"What is wrong with you? We need to finish her before she invades Dick's mind", said Kara.

"You think we're in someone's mind?", the female asked. "This is nothing like being in an induced dreamworld".

"What's your proof over it?", Oliver questioned, insisted in not believing what the Worldkiller is addressing.

"We're in a another dimension where our minds are thrown into this pit. It's known as the Sage of Infinity", said the Worldkiller. "Legends say there is a being that strikes in conflict with Rao, the goddess of Kryptonians. Even the New Gods and the strongest of mortals beyond many gods. She is the one who is responsible for creating this reanimating sand phase for infinite centuries".

"You seem to know who she is", Oliver declared.

The Worldkiller chuckles, rotating herself; turning her back faced on the two couple. "A clever man. Spoken of as the main cause of why she became a dictator. Even if I were to kill her past self, she will resurrect from the death. Her death is avoidable".

Hearing a far fractional scaled summary of the Worldkiller's expression of words, Kara straight raised thoughts. Flashbacks of previous moments when she felt something malicious briefly lurked inside her. A time when she got angry after failing to save a huge batch of aliens, who were killed by the Elite. And another time when the Legion of Heroes arrived at the 21st Century. She then remembered Manchester, when he was expressing her amusement over her, comparing her to someone that Kara has no knowledge of who he was referring to. Until now, she realised who Manchester was referring to.

"That thing who you're referring to-"

"You finally realised who you're facing against", Worldkiller declared, interrupting Kara. "An entity who struggles to maintain her physical presence inside. But can be of influence like a watchdog, tormenting those she wishes to recruit in pursuit of her own wealthy desires".

"She can't be a real person?", Oliver asked.

"The Speed Force is colliding with fragments of her physical appearance, making it difficult for Kara Zor-El, the future self, to produce pain. She can only evoke beings into their lock-pits. Even you must realise how dark you are Kryptonian. The darkness you airlifted in your heart", said the Worldkiller.

"Putting Dick in a coma; she knew it would force us to enter his mind", said Oliver.

"And instantly replace us in her realm where we can't escape. It was an effort to prevent us from intervening my future me's plans", said Kara.

"I am so tempted to killing you two. So eager to take your lives", the Worldkiller announces, rendering Oliver and Kara to peer at her with steadied shivering eyes. "But I cam prohibited from killing you. Doesn't matter, my objective is to watch over you. Until her plan succeeds".
