Chapter Thirty-Five

Sitting on the train going to Central, Ella had no idea how her life had suddenly ended up where it did. She seemed to have gone on autopilot as she looked at that tiny piece of white plastic that declared her impending motherhood.

Zina then ran out of the coffee shop back room, telling the drake behind the counter that Ella had been sick and wouldn't be back out, and that she was going to look after her. The two then grabbed Ella's bag and headed towards Zina's apartment, which was closer.

When they got to Zina's apartment, Ella had taken another two pregnancy tests, just to make triply sure that what that test said was true. Each test said the same thing, that she was pregnant at twenty years old.

"This is so the wrong time for this," Ella almost cried into the tea that Zina had made for her.

"I know, it's really not ideal, is it," Zina agreed taking a sip of the large glass of wine that she had poured for herself.

"I mean, we've talked about kids, but in an abstract way. Like, years in the future, after we get married and both have better jobs. Not when I'm still working minimum wage, applying for college with my boyfriend who only has one year left of university."

"That is shit timing."

"What the fuck am I actually going to do?" Ella exclaimed, nearly throwing her cup of herbal tea away.

"Well, first thing, is do you want to tell Wildwing? If not, then we could go to the doctors right now and get this taken care of," Zina answered. She herself had never had to make this kind of decision herself, but she had helped a few friends and classmates when they had found themselves in similar situations. University was, after all, not the right time to bring a child into the world.

"I can't keep this from him, on top of everything else, I can't make this go away without telling him that he's fathered a child. I'm already worried he'll never forgive me for keeping Allenview a secret, if I abort our child without telling him I was pregnant to begin with, then that's it," Ella explained, not realising what she had just said.

"Wait, Allenview? That high security juvenile detention? What's that got to do with anything?" Zina asked, causing her friend to look at her, completely terrified.

Ella realised that she couldn't hid anymore from one of her best friends. So, she confided everything to her, even the things that she had not told Tia. She admitted that she had been imprisoned for almost seven years for stealing the Mallar Emerald when she was ten years-old with her brother who was now the leader of the most notorious criminal organisation on Puckworld. She told her about how she was paroled had spent nights sleeping on the street, fearing that she was going to be sent back because she couldn't' get a job or find accommodation. She admitted to meeting Wildwing during that time, even though the drake didn't know this.

And then, she explained to Zina all about how her brother had suddenly found her. That it was her brother who had sent all those gifts, like he had done when she was a child. And, that he planned another job that evening and wanted Ella to take part in it.

"Wow, that's a lot of information to get in three minutes. No wonder you thought your nausea was stress. Are you seriously going to help him though, after everything you've been through and after everything, he did to you?"

"I want closure. I want this all to be done. And, if I do this job, I'll never have to see him again," Ella replied with almost no emotion.

"You don't believe that, do you? From what you've said, your brother does not sound like the type to let you go once he has you. And, what about Wildwing? He wants to go to the police, what's he going to do if something happens to you?"

That was the prevailing thought that had been circulating in Ella's head over the last few weeks. What would happen to Wildwing if something happened to her? And now, she had to consider what would happen to the tiny life that was now growing in her womb if something happened to her.

The two sat in silence, until Ella realised that she needed to get to the train station. Whatever she decides, she had a train to catch to Central City. Zina tried to persuade her not to go to Central that evening, that she could just stay with her that evening and then they could both go to Central the next morning to meet Wildwing.

But Ella just shook off the idea. If she didn't show up at the station when she had agreed to, her brother would come looking for her and he was a dangerous drake. She couldn't risk something either happening to Zina or Wildwing and his family. She would need to meet him at the prearranged time and then she could try to talk him out of the job.

She had not told Zina what the job was though, that was something she did not feel safe talking about, even with one of her best friends. She was very afraid that if she had that information then the older hen might call in the theft and put herself in very serious danger. Ella would never be able to forgive herself if something bad happened to Zina.

Instead, Zina walked Ella to the train station and waited with her. Once the train arrived, she once again offered to go with her, to which Ella once again declined. The two then hugged each other goodbye, with Zina promising that she would drop everything in Bardon and go to Central the second that Ella needed her.

"Thank you, you've been a brilliant friend. One that I never thought I'd have," Ella said as the train pulled up to the platform.

"Keep that in mind when you're trying to decide who is going to be your maid of honour, of spiritual guardian of your future children," Zina joked, her eyes quickly looking down at Ella's currently flat stomach then back at her face.

The two hugged goodbye once more, before Ella climbed onto the train and found her seat. Once she secured her luggage, she sat down and watched as the train pulled away from the station. All the while waving at Zina who waved back with just as much vigour.

The five hours of the train ride flew by as Ella was in her own personal hell. She kept on touching her flat stomach, trying to figure out how she couldn't have realised that she was pregnant. She understood that she had had a lot going on, and that some things were going to slip by without her noticing, but to not notice that she didn't have her course or that she missed her oral contraceptives was just mind boggling.

About half way she realised that she had spent all this time thinking only about her, and had thought nothing about Wildwing and what this meant for him. He had only just finished his third year and still had one more year to go on his undergraduate, which was a scholarship. She knew he couldn't afford to be at DuCaine otherwise. If she had this baby, what would that mean for Wildwing?

Ella knew that Wildwing would drop everything to do the right thing, and that was terrifying. He might decide that taking on a full-time job was better for Ella and the baby rather than completing his degree and going for the master's degree that he had planned.

If he did this, Ella didn't know how she could live with herself. But she also knew that she would not be able to support a new born baby, on a minimum wage salary. Plus, start college to get a degree in education. And, babies took up space, she would need to get a different apartment. Her current apartment was small but completely rent controlled, how were they going to afford a new apartment that was big enough for her, Wildwing and a baby.

With all her worrying, she didn't realise that she had arrived at Central City, until the announcement was made. Grabbing her bag, Ella jumped out of her seat and made her way off the train, following the crowd that was disembarking there as well.

Walking through the beautifully decorated station, she looked around for anyone she might recognise or who might recognise her. She was starting to feel more paranoid with each step, thinking that someone would see her and call Wildwing to tell him that she was already in Central.

The only person she recognised in the huge station was Rick though, who was sitting waiting exactly where Duke had promised he would be. The older drake took hold and slung Ella's bag over his shoulder as soon as he saw her. He also pointed out that Ella was still wearing her work uniform, complete with the bright green apron.

Rick dropped Ella's bag in the back of his nondescript luxury car as Ella climbed into the front seat, after she had ripped off her apron. She then looked up into the mirror to check her appearance, making sure she looked presentable. She knew that her brother would pick up on anything that was wrong with her, especially just before a job. It would be a huge liability to the success of the job if someone's mind wasn't on the job.

"Here, kiddo, got out soda," Rick said handing over the fizzy fruit flavoured drink when he sat in the driver's seat. It took Ella a few moments before she realised that the soda had been her favourite when she was child.

After about thirty minutes of zipping and weaving through traffic, though purposely staying under the speed limit, Rick pulled up next to the entrance of the Shangri-La Hotel, a five-star hotel in the centre of Central City. The bellhops jumping to attention as soon as they stepped out of the car.

Rick though, did not let them take the bag out of the boot. He threw it over his own shoulder and waved the overeager drakes off, throwing his keys to the valet. Most likely that car would be left at the hotel if something bad happened. It was not registered to Rick or anyone affiliated with the Brotherhood, and it was so non-descript that no one would notice that it hadn't been picked up until months later.

The two rode up to the room that Duke had rented in silence. It seemed Rick didn't know what to say to the young girl and Ella was far too preoccupied to even try. The elevator doors opened on the twenty-fifth floor, several floors below what would have been the penthouse.

It made sense, not renting the penthouse. That was definitely something that would have stood out. Several ducks renting a really expensive room and then disappearing as soon as an impossible to steal jewel was stolen. It would be the first place the police would check and Ella was thankful that had brother had thought that through.

The room that Ella now found herself in was very luxurious, with clean large windows looking out onto the cityscape of Central City. She looked to see Jesh lounging on the soft and plush couch listening to music on headphones, bopping along to the beat. Lex was sitting at the dining table with his laptop out, going through something.

Duke was standing on the balcony, going through several motions of fencing. Ella remembered from her childhood that this was how Duke relaxed and focused, he would slowly go through all the fencing motions he had learned.

Despite herself, Ella had to admit that her brother was impressive. His movements were flawless and graceful, and she knew that she would never be able to be as good as he was.

"Hey there, kiddo, good to see you again," Jesh said, taking off the headphones and coming to hug Ella hello. This got Duke's attention and brought him back into the apartment.

"How you feeling, kiddo?" Duke asked after he hugged his sister hello.

"Fine," Ella replied trying to be a neutral as possible even though her mind was going a mile a minute.

"You know what 'fine' really means right? Freaked out, insecure, neurotic and emotional. I need you to be better than 'fine', kiddo," Duke said, looking his sister up and down to try to recall gauge her emotional state.

"It's been a long time since I've done anything like this, Duke, I don't think I can give you a better answer than that," Ella answered back, still being as neutral as possible.

Her brother seemed to accept the answer and dropped it. Instead he commented on her uniform and told her to go and change out of it. He seemed unwilling to accept the evidence of Ella's actual life and real job.

Feeling an argument would not be a good idea, Ella pulled out a change of clothes and walked silently to the bedroom. She pulled on the slouchy green sweater without changing her skinny black jeans. She felt very comfortable in those clothes and felt that she would need to feel comfortable to stop herself from having a minor panic attack.

That evening, the group of five ducks went though some last minute preparations, each one testing the readiness of their own equipment. They all ordered room service to the room, so that they wouldn't need to leave until they had to leave to do the job.

Ella didn't eat much of what she had been given, her stomach was still not feeling right. Plus, her nerves were making her digestive track do some world championship level gymnastics without even adding in the nausea that she now knew was pregnancy related.

Her brother was starting to push some food onto Ella when her phone rang, breaking the bubble of the room. Duke told her to ignore the call, but Ella just shook her head and picked it up, seeing that it was her boyfriend calling her.

"Hi, Ella, how you doing?" Wildwing's voice said over the line.

"I'm fine. Just relaxing. How about you?"

"Are you sure, I got a phone call from Dip earlier, asking how you are," Wildwing asked, the concern evident in his voice.

Ella could have kicked herself for not pre-empting that Dip would be concerned. The drake had no children, and had often acted as her father figure over the years. He would, of course, called to make sure that she was okay when she went home sick. And, if he couldn't get a hold of her, he would have called her next of kin.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just nauseous again," Ella answered, moving away from her colleagues and going out onto the balcony for some privacy.

"Again? Ella, I know you're stressed at the moment but you really need to see a doctor about that."

"I know. I'm going to go to the doctors tomorrow. When I get to Central. I, um, actually have something I need to talk to you about. But I really don't want to do this over the phone. So, could we talk, when I get to your house tomorrow?"

"Um, sure, it's nothing bad is it?"

"No, nothing bad. Just, something I want to talk to you about, face to face, that's all."

"Of course. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. I'm gonna be across town in the morning first though, I'm helping my uncle out in his mechanics shop and taking, Dive with me. Yes, I'll tell her! Nosedive wants me to tell you he finished top of his class for Rouenin and he's stripped the colour from his mane and its back to his natural blond. Can I speak to my girlfriend now, Dive? Thanks. Sorry about that, he's really excited to see you too."

"Tell him I'm really excited to see him too! I better go, I'll see you tomorrow. I love you," Ella said softly, smiling when Wildwing returned the sentiment.

When she hung up the phone, Ella couldn't stop the thoughts from running through her head. This was going to impact both of them so much. She knew that this was not part of the plan at all, at least not part of the next five years. And, she had no idea how either of them were going to cope.

"Trouble with the jock?" Duke's voice broke through Ella's silent introspection, reminding her that she had better compartmentalise her thoughts and feelings.

"No trouble, and he has a name. Which you are going to have to learn, if you actually want to be part of my life. I'm going to marry him one day," Ella said putting away her phone and watching her brother step onto the balcony.

"I don't think so, Ellie. He's not going to understand you. And, what he wants is something so, ordinary, you're extraordinary," Duke answered, taking a small sip of his coffee.

"Ordinary doesn't sound so bad. House, job, two kids, partner, maybe even a pet. Sounds pretty nice to me," Ella said as she looked out onto the street of ordinary people going about their ordinary days.

It seemed Duke really didn't want to condescend her comment with an actual response. He merely let out a loud laugh and walked back inside. She could hear him making some disparaging comments under his breath, but she also chose not to answer those with her thoughts.

With one last look out at the darkening cityscape, Ella put down her soda and went into the bedroom to change. They were going to be leaving in a few hours to start their physical watch and she wanted to be ready to go. She also wanted to get a feel for the movement of her new suit.

She changed her underwear into something a little more supportive. She then slipped on the suit, fastening up the front and admiring how well it fit her in the mirror. It was then that Ella's attention was drawn to her still flat stomach.

As someone who was very tall and willowy, she thought she would probably be able to hide a pregnancy for a while. Unless she kept on wearing something like her jumpsuit. She tried to imagine her stomach, protruding and rounding, as a baby grew within her. She tried to imagine a baby kicking her, and calling Wildwing to feel the movement and smiled at the warm thoughts.

Pushing down that fantasy, Ella continued getting ready for the job that evening. She pulled on her utility belt, noting how well it fit across her hips. She then placed the omni-tool on her right wrist and pulled on her boots.

She then systematically placed every tool in the correct place, so that she could get to each easily. The Bo-staff was placed at the small of her back, while the sabre was attached to her left hip. She filled each of the pouches with her safe-cracking tools, keeping a few empty.

The last things she put on were her fingerless, black gloves. She made sure they fitted well, before she pulled back her mane into a tight bun. She then allowed herself to look at herself in the mirror one last time.

She looked like a professional thief. That was all she could really think. And, that she didn't look like herself. Everything was formfitting, and tight. She rarely wore so much tight clothing, feeling more comfortable in having loose or slouchy clothing. She also rarely had her mane up that tightly.

Trying not to think about her conflicting feelings, she moved away from the mirror and went back into the dinning room. She was rolling up her sleeves, trying to at least feel a little more comfortable and trying to ignore the looks that the drakes, except her brother, threw her as she walked in.

"You look just like mama, it's, it's startling, kiddo. Are you still wearing mama's pearls?" Duke asked with a small smile on his beak.

Ella pointed to her neck and slightly pulled on the luminous white strand with a sad smile. Though Duke didn't seem to notice how sad she was. He merely turned back to his own preparations. He had also changed into his jumpsuit, as had Jesh. Neither Lex nor Rick would need to wear anything as form fitting or specific, as they would be outside offering support.

Before Ella was really ready to leave, Duke called for everyone to gather their things. They would need to be at the museum long before they were planning on striking, to make sure there were no surprises. The thought 'like last time' passed through each of their minds, but no one said it out loud.

There were two very nondescript cars going to the museum. Rick and Lex would be in the bigger car, which contained the motorcycles and place them around the museum. The two would then switch into the guards car, so they could be in place and ready to start hacking the system.

The other car contained Jesh, Duke and Ella, who were just watching the museum. They were constantly being fed information about the movements of the guards from Lex who had already hacked into the system.

At midnight the group of thieves watched as another nondescript vehicle pull up to the museum, and four guards jump out of the car. They were met by four guards of the museum, who walked into the museum with them. One of those guards were carrying a very small black box, that they probably had no idea what the contents were.

Twenty minutes later, those four guards left the museum, got back in the car and drove away without any fanfare. At least, none that you could see. They all knew that there was air support for the transport as well as additional ground support. The placement in the museum, before it went on display was when the Emerald was at its most vulnerable.

And, just like that, the most previous gem on Puckworld was back in play.

"We still have a chance to leave, you know," Ella said as she watched the guards leave, not taking her eyes off the retreating car.

"Why would we do that, kiddo? This is our birth right. This emerald belongs to us and we can finally take it," Duke said almost incredulously.

"We could walk away from this all, and just, I don't know, move on."

"Kiddo, I need you to get your head into the game. I need you to focus on the job. I don't want any mistakes. I want us out of this place in thirty minutes and on the way back home," Duke said, with such a level of authority that it did not allow for any further comments or arguments.

Pushing down her insecurities and worries, Ella looked back towards the grand building. It was a beautiful museum, with grand statues of the Hens of Knowledge flanking the entrance columns. The steps up the building was carved in bright blue marble, that almost mirrored a cloudy sky. It was a large building that Ella had always loved, despite it being the site of her downfall.

She had not entered this building in over tens years. Wildwing had often tried to get her to visit it with him, but she kept on declining. She had no desire to be back in that building. This did put her in a disadvantage, not being familiar with the layout, but Lex would be watching and guiding her through the building.

It was around four in the morning, the time when the guards were at their laxest that the troupe made their move. Both Rick and Lex were already in the building, with Lex bypassing the security system, so that they would be unable to pinpoint a time when they entered.

Rick managed to come around and let the active trio into the parking lot. Duke and Jesh would go into a different entrance, to blow the distraction, while Ella had to climb through the air system to get to the main vault.

"Ellie, good luck," Duke said, gripping her bicep tightly before he pulled her into a tight hug.

Ella didn't know how to answer, so she just hugged back. It had been a really long time since she had hugged her brother, and this could be the last time she would do it.

She watched as Duke and Jesh disappeared into the darkness, going towards the next building to plant the explosives. She, meanwhile, turned on her headpiece and put it on, the voice of Lex filling her ears as she made her way towards a small utility room.

Once in the utility room, Ella took down the grate that was over the air vent. It took almost no time to remove the screws and climb in. She then replaced the vent, so that the investigators would not realise that she had entered the building that way. She knew that Duke would be entering a different way, and Jesh would be out of the place after he set the explosives, so she didn't' need to worry about how they were getting into the museum.

The crawl through the vent wasn't that bad, as Ella did not suffer from claustrophobia and had no problem being in small spaces. The disembodied voice of Lex was guiding here through the maze of vents, so that she could come out onto a stairway. That stairway would be next to the corridor to the safe room. She would need to navigate the laser gridded corridor to get to the safe room.

When Ella came to the end of the vent, she was able to open the grate and hook it onto the vent to prevent it from falling. From her perch, she was able to see the grid of lasers that were criss-crossing over the corridor. There was a meter-long gap at the top of the corridor, where she conveniently happened to be perching.

Taking out her Bo-staff, Ella attached some additional pieces to it. It took a few minutes to get the Bo-staff ready, but when it was it would be a very sturdy grappling device to get her over the laser grid safely. When it was ready, she adjusted the position of the staff on her shoulder and fired the wire. It hit both the wall behind her and the wall at the other end of the corridor, embedding into the concrete.

Testing the tautness of the wire, Ella wrapped herself around the actual staff. She then pressed a button that started the mechanism to zip across the wire. She had a moment when she thought that she might already be too heavy for the wire, but she pushed that quickly aside. She could not afford to think that way during such a dangerous situation.

The staff managed to get Ella across the corridor quickly and easily. She had practiced using the staff several times and was strong enough not to feel too tired holding onto the staff. When she got to the end of the corridor, she managed to hold onto the staff with her legs and drop her upper body down to use the key pad.

Taking out one of the wires to connect the omni-tool to the keypad, she started to type several commands into the touchscreen. She could hear Lex's voice over her headphones giving her the instructions on what to type as he tried to remotely access the system.

With a strange buzzing noise, the laser grid suddenly shut down. Ella did wait a few seconds to make sure that it wouldn't start up again before she dropped down from the staff. Pressing another button she retracted the wires and dismantled the Bo-staff.

Typing some more commands into the omni-tool touch pad allowed the door to suddenly unlock, giving Ella free entrance into the safe room. She took one quick look around, lingering a little on the security camera watching her, then she entered the room.

The room was almost exactly the same as it had been several years before. There was now a cage around the safe, which was the same safe as she had cracked ten years before. She had to get through the cage first before she could crack it though.

The cage was on a separate security system. If it was opened before Lex got through the firewalls then it would set off an additional alarm and slam shit all security entrances, trapping Ella in the safe room. That was why they were setting off explosion nearby, it would bypass the system and close it down automatically, allowing Ella to enter safely.

Listening carefully for her instructions, Ella tried to focus on what she was doing. Though, her thoughts started to wander. She thought about how the tiny life form, growing in her womb had felt during her entrance into the museum. She hoped that she didn't do anything to hurt it as she dangled from the Bo-staff over the laser grid.

The explosion, though small could be heard easily. The fire alarms in the museum set off, masking any further alarms that could be raised. She knew that the explosion was also set to look like a gas explosion, the building next door having just failed a safety inspection thanks to Jesh. It would be a while before they linked it to anyone.

"Right, the gate is down, you can get in now," came the disembodied voice of Lex.

Ella took another deep breath, thinking about how many she had had to take to calm herself down recently. She reached forward and pulled open the gate, knowing that once she entered the cage there was absolutely no going back.

Before she could stop herself, she had crossed the cage and come to stand in front of the Remington 500 safe. The one she had cracked in seven minutes flat as a ten-year-old, and had been the last safe she had opened on the job.

She knew the set up well, she had thought about this safe almost non-stop for the first few weeks of her incarceration. She hated this safe, and this museum. But, she had no choice now but to get started as time was now ticking down. If they were not out of the museum before the fire was contained, they might not be able to get out at all.

Taking out her chalk, Ella put her hand on the safe over where the mechanisms would be and began to move the lock slowly. She had to concentrate, focusing on the slight clicks that would signal the correct number for a combination. She had to make her mind go blank and only focus on those clicks.

With each click, she would write the number on the safe door with the chalk. The different type of clicks next to each other would indicate the order of the combination, which was an eight figure combination. This gave an astronomical chance of actually guessing the combination, but Ella was not guessing the combination. She was meticulously going through the combinations and working from the evidence that the safe itself was giving her.

With a start, Ella was completely surprised when she got through the eight numbers, and put in the combination in under six minutes. She knew that she hadn't improved that much, and figured that she must have gotten luck as well.

Pulling the lever, the safe door opened with a groan of heavy moving metal. During her time as an uncooperative safe cracker for the Bardon Police Department, Ella had not looked into any of those safes, unwilling to take part in the case. This time though, she looked into the large safe, seeing the priceless artefacts spread around, with the Mallar Emerald smack dab in the middle of the back shelf.

The Emerald was just as beautiful as she remembered it, gleaming in the light and reflecting everything in a slight green tint. It wasn't as big as most people seemed to think it was. Many thought it was huge, but it was actually the size of one of the tree-mammal eggs. It could easily fit in a pocket, though it would bulge. It was still the biggest gemstone on the planet as well as the most flawless, it just wasn't enormous.

Reaching forward, she grabbed the jewel, marvelling how cool it felt in her hand, and pocketed it into her utility belt. She then took out a similar looking glass gem and placed it on the display stand. If someone looked into the safe they would assume the Mallar Emerald had not been touched. It was Duke who had insisted on making two of these decoys, just in case they needed them.

Ella was just leaving the safe, closing it behind her and wiping it down, when Duke appeared in the room. He looked almost startled that she had finished by the time he got there, and Ella was just surprised that he had kept his word and came to find her.

"You got it, Kiddo?" Duke asked, coming forward.

Ella didn't answer, she just tapped the pouch that contained the jewel, indicating that it was already safely stowed in her pouch. That seemed to be enough for her brother, as he didn't ask to actually seen the jewel, he merely grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the door.

Once again, Ella closed the door behind her to make sure that it looked like no one had entered. When they got into the corridor, Ella turned the laser grid back on, giving themselves two minutes to get out of the corridor before they turned on.

The two dashed through the museum, coming to one of the large columns. They were not going to leave by the ventilation system that time, they were planning to come out from the roof since all the closed security alarms were down due to the fire next door.

The climb was fairly easy, as was the walk over the beams that supported the roof. The window was easily opened, and the two were out on the roof in now time. The motion sensors were not turned on, so it was safe to run across the roof. The fire alarm would have caused these alarms to be shut down, in case the fire fighters needed roof access.

They could see the fire trucks roaring down the road, and several security guards running around on the ground. They could see the nondescript car that was being driven by Rick, managing to get out of the parking lot with all the chaos that was happening on the ground.

The siblings would be able to join the car on the corner, all they had to do was get to ground before the trucks got there. But that was when Ella noticed someone on the roof of the burning building. It was a motionless drake in the path of the flames.

"Don't look at him, kiddo," Duke said nonchalantly as he took Ella's hand and pulled her towards the fire escape.

But Ella did notice the drake. She noticed the blood around him, shining in the fire light. It was obvious that he had been in the wrong place at the wrong time when Duke got out of the building. And had paid the price with his life, his body being left to be burned up by the enlarging flames. His death would most likely be contributed to the fire rather than being murdered by a notorious thief.

Shaking out her thoughts, Ella grabbed hold of the bar and swung down the ground after her brother. The two dashed out to the corner and jumped into the waiting car that then drove off, still under the speed limit.

By the time the fire was starting to be put out, the nondescript dark car was already at the city limits. The occupants of the car celebrating finally acquiring the most precious gem on the planet.

starrat: thanks again.

Palacegirl: yep, you guessed it and Ella is currently her own worst enemy right now.
