Jumping from rock to rock, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic finally came to a halt, seeing the younger sister of Akame in front of him, sword in hand. Unsheathing his own sword, Sonic blocked Kurome's, before kicking her in the stomach to make her recoil. Then, feeling Koro's huge figure behind him, the speedster suddenly disappeared. Closing it's huge jaws, the huge Imperial Arms was surprised to feel it's teeth touching nothing.

Appearing behind the Imperial Arms, Sonic had a childish smile on his face and put his sword back into its scabbard. Immediately, two huge gashes appeared on Koro's face, gouging out his eyes.

Hearing her scream in pain, Sonic grew curious.

"You yourself are a weapon and yet you feel pain?"

Hearing bangs behind him, he saw Seryu shoot him with two guns. Immediately, he launched a shuriken, which exploded upon hitting Seryu's projectiles.

Wanting to take advantage of the smoke, the former Jaegers soldier ran towards the ninja with the intent to deal him a powerful punch. Hearing someone coming, Sonic dodged his opponent without a problem, before lifting his foot to break his arm. However, he was surprised when he felt his foot hit metal.

"Well, that's not normal," he wondered, seeing that Seryu's hand was made of metal.

"A bionic arm? Are you supposed to be a cyborg of some sorts?" Sonic wondered.

"You could say that! KORO: NUMBER 2!"

Immediately Sonic saw Koro rushing at him. Surprised to see that the animal's eyes had healed, the ninja drew his sword to decapitate it. However, to his amazement, he saw the animal leap over him before biting his own mistress.

Not knowing what to say, Sonic saw Koro start to chew on Seryu's upper body. Then, finally, the teigu pulled Seryu's body out of his mouth. Covered with saliva, the former soldier didn't have the slightest bite on her. Instead, his shoulders now featured four rocket launchers.

"What is that?"

"LET'S GO!" Seryu cried, as the first rocket hit Sonic.

Using his speed, Sonic dodged her but had to put his arm in front of his face in order to protect him from the debris. Taking advantage of this, Kurome positioned herself behind his back and shook his sword. Seeing her, at the last minute, Sonic threw himself aside. Nevertheless, Kurome managed to cut his cheek.

"Dirty little one…"

"I'm not through yet!" Seryu cried, launching his other rockets.

Running then, Kurome mingled with the rockets and moved towards Sonic as well.

"We'll get you eventually! You won't be able to avoid all these attacks."

Then ceasing to act like a child, Sonic decided to get serious. His eyes then moved in all directions, as he seemed to be able to observe all the rockets as well as Kurome's movements among them.

Finally, flexing his legs, he clenched his sword in his hand, before displaying a morbid smile. The same he displayed when he wanted to kill someone at all costs. Then, when the first rocket was about to hit him. He disappeared.

Hearing a strange noise, Kurome saw a rocket next to her being cut in half. Then, the rocket in front of her met the same fate.

Then another one.

And another one.

Within moments, all of the missiles were cut in half. Feeling Sonic's aura, Kurome felt like he could feel him running around her, not being able to see him. Every now and then, she could spot a black figure near her. However, she was unable to touch him.

Nevertheless, Sonic ended up sparing him. It wasn't Kurome that interested Sonic. Running straight towards Seryu, he cried out.

"I like the look in your eyes," affirmed the ninja. "It shows that you're just like me! You like to kill people, don't you?"

"SHUT UP!" Seryu roared, opening her mouth.

Seeing the tip of a gun stick out of his mouth, Sonic kicked Seryu's chin hard with his knee. He hit her so hard that Seryu's teeth managed to cut the tip of the gun. Feeling her teeth crack, the poor girl put her hands over her mouth, while Sonic took the opportunity to kick her in the stomach.

Seeing her fall back, he wanted to know.

"Now then, should I eliminate you now or do you have something better to offer me?"

At that moment, he heard Kurome and Koro run towards him.

"This resistance is starting to annoy me," the ninja asserted, drawing his sword.

However, the air cracked at that moment. Before the impression that every bone in his body was cracking, Sonic spat blood before being rejected.

"What…?" Kurome wondered.

"ZEHAHAHA!"

Standing again, Teach was the one who had just brought Sonic to the ground. Seeing him on his feet, Kurome could only be surprised when he saw no trace of the wound she had just inflicted on him. Still, she was sure she saw him bleed.

"This fight was very interesting," affirmed Teach. "How about I show you the power of a member of the Four Emperors?"

Immediately, darkness came out of his body and began to cover this area of the arena.

"I'm not like the others who take their time and savor their prey. I'M SENDING YOU TO THE DEPTHS OF HELL!"

Seeing the ground turn black, as the rocks sucked in, Kurome cried out.

"Seryu! We have to go now!"

Seeing her leave, Seryu immediately hissed. Koro immediately rushed towards her, before grabbing her gently in his jaws, before following Kurome.

Seeing them flee, Teach amused himself by bombarding them with his stones. Seeing them nonetheless, avoiding them and managing to escape, Teach ceased his attack before finally sitting down. He wasn't going to waste his time chasing them.

If his opponents were reckless enough to come and face him, he would wait for them quietly.

Safe behind a large boulder, Seryu surveyed the surroundings, while Koro was perched on his shoulders.

"That's good! The ninja and the man with the beard didn't follow us."

Sitting behind her, Kurome finally asserted. "I tried to see my power by fighting without the power of my Imperial Arms, but I guess I was overwhelmed no problem."

"What are we doing now?"

"We break up!" Kurome asserted. "Listen to me carefully, you might not agree with me, but I have an idea."

"Well, spit it out!" Seryu exclaimed.

"It's time for me to bring my dolls and have them attack a lot of the other fighters! As soon as they are destroyed and I get eliminated, you'll take care of the rest. Got it?"

Listening to her, Seryu nodded before leaving. Seeing her go, Kurome finally grabbed his sword, before planting it on the ground.
