Pyroar + Zebstrika- Fast Food
The sky was bright blue, and sun was shining brightly down upon the wide open wild plains that were the home of many wild Pokemon. One such Pokemon was a sleek female Pyroar that was moving swiftly across the plains, her long hair trailing behind her.
Pyroar surveyed the surrounding land as she jogged onward, in search of a worthwhile hunt to satisfy the appetite she had. She eventually did find something, but it wasn't prey.
The lioness let out a confused growl as she ran towards what had caught her attention. She soon came face to face with a tall chain-link fence that seemed to extend forever in either direction.
Pyroar cocked her head, and raised her right forepaw to push at the fence a few times. She then looked in either direction, silently making up her mind. She eventually put her paw down and turned to her left, where the fence led into the jungle. She then ran off in that direction to further investigate the presence of this fence.
Pyroar ran for some time, occasionally looking sideways at the fence to her right. She suddenly skidded to a halt and moved backwards a few steps, stopping right next to a slightly ajar gate in the fence. She pushed the gate open and entered, noticing that a length of fencing to her right closed off to her the area she had been running alongside of. However, there wasn't any fencing at all to her left, but she still stood close to the fencing on her right as she kept looking carefully into the jungle area.
Eventually, the jungle slowly transitioned to grassy plains, and that's where something else caught Pyroar's eye. Several feet away, there was a Zebstrika with its back to her. The Zebstrika was peacefully grazing, unaware of Pyroar's presence.
Pyroar felt her hunger spike at the sight of the Zebstrika, and she liked her lips at the thought of tearing into some meat. Pyroar got low to the ground, and slowly crept forwards towards the grazing Zebstrika. Soon, she was in pouncing distance, and was in position.
Pyroar's tail wagged in anticipation, and then she sprang with her claws unsheathed and her forepaws outstretched.
Zebstrika looked up from her grazing when she heard a loud thud right behind her. She turned around and saw Pyroar with the right side of her face and both of her forepaws smacked into the clear glass enclosure wall. Zebstrika looked quite surprised to see Pyroar, but she wasn't at all fearful of her. In fact, she simply watched in curiosity as the lioness slid down the side of the glass to the ground.
Pyroar quickly got back up, her eyes studying the barrier she had just smacked into. She raised her right forepaw and pressed it against the glass. She pushed hard against it, and then let out a frustrated growl. She began pawing at the glass quickly with her two forepaws, snarling impatiently as she saw that the glass was successfully holding her back.
Zebstrika watched Pyroar's antics, and then let out a merry neigh as she cantered over to the glass. Pyroar heard this and stopped her pawing, and she watched as Zebstrika approached. Zebstrika smiled cockily as she turned to the side and struck a pose as if she were about to take off in a full gallop. Pyroar narrowed her eyes and frowned at Zebstrika, clearly not amused.
Zebstrika let out a laugh as she trotted sideways so that her left side was next to the glass. She then leaned on the glass, pressing the side of her body into it. As she did this, Zebstrika looked right at Pyroar and winked at her.
Pyroar's mouth hung open as looked from Zebstrika's face to the white lightning bolt stripes on her body. The lioness then began to hungrily lick at the glass in a desperate attempt to taste the prey behind it. Pyraor disregarded the sound of Zebstrika's laughing, but she paused in mid-lick when she heard a strange rubbing sound.
Pyroar opened her eyes and saw that Zebstrika was currently rubbing her rear against the other side of the glass. Even though there was a thick layer of glass between her tongue and Zebstrika's rear, Pyroar still roared out in disgust and quickly staggered back and away from the glass. Pyroar spat and held her tongue out of her mouth, the very idea of what she'd been doing filling her with disgust. However, when she heard Zebstrika's laughing neigh, and saw how she was smirking and flicking her tail at her, Pyroar became determined to get her claws on her prey.
The lioness roared and let out a Flamethrower attack at the glass. She sustained this for quite a while, but eventually ran out of breath and stood panting while Zebstrika stood leaning towards her with a smile, as if urging her to keep trying.
Pyroar growled, and then threw herself at the glass as she used Take Down. The collision let out a loud, vibrating tone, and Pyroar was knocked back by the reverberations, but the glass still held firm.
More frustrated than ever, Pyroar used Head Butt repeatedly against the glass, growling in fury at the Zebstrika mere inches away. Finally, Pyroar relented and rested her head against the glass, growling low and angrily.
Zebstrika was still grinning at the frustrated Pyroar, and as she watched the lioness rest her head against the glass, another naughty idea came to her. Zebstrika got close to the glass, turned around, and used Double Kick right where Pyroar's head was.
Pyroar cried out in pain as the reverberations shot through her head. She was thrown up onto her hind legs and stumbled backwards as she pressed her forepaws onto the sides of her head. All the while, her eyes were wide and derping in circles, and her tongue was sticking out, making for a comical face. Pyroar then fell flat on her back, her twitching toes showing that she was still conscious.
Zebstrika laughed harder than ever at Pyroar's plight. However, her mirth was halted when a loud cracking sound reached her ears.
Zebstrika blinked and tilted her head as she tried to pin point the sound. Eventually, her attention was brough to the glass right in front of her, and she saw much to her horror that a network of cracks was spreading right from where her Double Kick had struck the glass.
Zebstrika shook her head repeatedly as she tried to quickly press her forehooves up against the glass in a vain attempt to stop the cracks from spreading. Zebstrika watched with great distress as the cracks grew and grew, until it formed a large pattern in the barrier that was about the size of a Snorlax.
Zebstrika's eyes were widened with panic, and she looked through the cracked glass at Pyroar, who was staring at the glass between her hindpaws as she still lay on her back. The lioness smiled and nodded eagerly as she got up onto her paws and got ready to pounce again.
Zebstrika cried out in fear and flinched as Pyroar pounced. However, another thud could be heard, and Zebstrika opened her eyes and turned to see Pyroar with her face and forepaws smacked against the glass once again.
Zebstrika let out a relieved laugh as Pyroar slid down the glass again, and the lioness quickly got up and growled at the damaged glass. Suddenly, Pyroar's nose twitched, and she started to breath heavily. Then, Pyroar let out a large sneeze, and the cracked glass promptly shattered completely, creating a large opening in the barrier.
Zebstrika eyes blinked rapidly, and then she carefully looked Pyroar in the eye. Zebstrika then timidly took a step back, then another step, and then rapidly walked backwards sever more steps before finally turning and running off into the forest.
Zebstrika's hooves pounded on the ground as she ran away at top speed. She turned her head to look behind her to see how close behind Pyroar was. She couldn't see any sign of the cat, so she refocused on what was ahead of her. However, right after she made a sharp turn around a tree, Zebstrika suddenly saw Pyroar standing right in her path.
Zebstrika let out a frightened neigh and quickly turned 180 degrees and took off in a new direction. She could hear Pyroar's jaws snap behind her, as well as feel her hot breath on the tip of her tail. As Zebstrika ran onwards, an idea came to her, and she brought her head down low as she brought her hooves down harder onto the ground. A cloud of dust rose up around her, and Zebstrika was suddenly cloaked in fire as she rocketed forward using Flame Charge.
Zebstrika laughed happily as she zoomed speedily through the forest, certain she was leaving Pyroar far behind. She broke through the dense jungle underbrush and was greeted by nothing but clear blue sky. Zebstrika's eyes widened as she realized she was headed straight towards the edge of a cliff. She quickly dug her hooves into the ground to stop herself, leaving four skid marks in the ground due to her enhanced speed.
Zebstrika saw that she was headed straight towards the edge, and she closed her eyes tightly as she continued to slide forward. Suddenly, she felt herself stop, and she opened her eyes to see that her forehooves were about an inch away from the edge. Zebstrika sighed with relief and turned around to walk away from the cliff.
Just as Zebstrika was turning, Pyroar shot out of the jungle surrounded by the glowing power of Take Down. Zebstrika cried out urgently and motioned to the edge of the cliff. Pyroar's eyes widened as she saw it, and she tried to dig her paws into the ground in an attempt to stop just as Zebstrika had. However, it was no use, and Pyroar collided with Zebstrika, and they both tumbled off the side of the cliff.
Zebstrika's screaming was cut short when she landed on her back after only a short moment of falling. She opened her eyes slowly, and it occurred to her that she had landed on a small ledge protruding out from the side of the cliff. As she got up, Zebstrika saw a distressed looking Pyroar hanging from the edge of the cliff. Pyroar was trying to dig her foreclaws into the rock, growling as her claws kept slipping back across the ledge, leaving only small scratched in the stone.
Zebstrika chuckled a bit as she walked over to Pyroar. The lioness looked up at her angrily as she continued to hang on for dear life. Zebstrika smiled, and then reared up onto her hind legs, getting her forehooves ready to use Stomp. Pyroar's eyes widened, and she silently shook her head in desperation.
Zebstrika only nodded gleefully in response, and she forcefully brought her forehooves down hard. Pyroar quickly slid her forepaws towards each other, and there was a loud crack as Zebstrika's hooves missed them and struck the stone. Immediately, cracks spread out across the entire ledge. Zebstrika and Pyroar exchanged nervous glances, and then the entire ledge crumbled and dropped the two of them down to the bottom of the cliff.
When the dust finally settled, Pyroar was lying on her stomach amid a pile of broken rock. She meowed in pain and shakily tried to get up onto her paws, only to fall back down on her stomach. She moaned in pain, and she cracked open her eyes to see Zebstrika right next to her, shaking the dust off of her body.
Thoroughly weakened, Pyroar weakly raised her right forepaw towards Zebstrika. The zebra didn't seem to even notice her as she walked by, stepping painfully on the paw Pyroar had raised as she passed. Pyroar cried out in pain and quickly brought her paw to her mouth to lick it tenderly. Pyroar eventually looked up from her paw to see Zebstrika standing a few feet away next to a tree.
Zebstrika gave Pyroar a look of pity, and slowly shook her head at the lioness. Zebstrika then turned around and kicked the tree she was standing next to. A bunch of Persim berries fell from the tree, and several rolled over to Pyroar. The lioness stared at them, then up at Zebstrika who was already galloping away.
Pyroar sighed and took a bite out of one of the Persim berries. The smallest of smiles appeared on her face as she finished it off with another bite, and then moved on to the next one.
