"...huh, where am I?" Sora looked around. "I'm in the...Bunker? Okay wait, I need to figure out what's going on first before I do something reckless."
Walking down the long halls, he recounted the prior events leading up to his current situation. "I remember A2 saving me from the darkness and then she..." He swallowed hard as all the painful memories came rushing back to him. "...and then she died because of me. That's right...I wanted to save everyone so...did I end up using the power of waking again?"
Sora went through a set of doors, then entered inside the mission control center. "It's totally empty." His eyes wandered around the room for a while longer until he spotted 2B's body floating at the center of the lower level.
'So I did use the power of waking, which means I'm...' He shook his head. 'I'm not gonna worry about that right now. Save the others first!' Foregoing the elevator, he jumped down to the lower level where he saw the Lich heartless take 2B's heart away.
"Not so fast!" Much to his surprise, a new keyblade manifested in his hand; the Ultima Weapon. "What- the Ultima keyblade?! Finally!"
With the Ultima Weapon back in his arsenal, he was confident he could defeat the Lich in no time. However, when he tried to pursue it, the doors leading out closed shut and red light flooded the area like the Bunker was going into lockdown mode.
EMERGENCY: THE FUSION REACTOR TO THE BUNKER IS CURRENTLY IN AN UNCONTROLLABLE STATE. ALL YORHA UNITS MUST EVACUATE THE BUNKER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
"No way I'm letting you escape that easy!" As he was raising his keyblade, an android lunged at him from behind, forcing on the ground.
"YOU'RE N-N-N-NOT GOinG ANYWherE HUUUMAN!"
"Get off of me!" He kicked android off of him, but saw there were a lot more androids where she came from so he targeted his shotlock, Infinity Circle, at the rest. It was a devastating move that wiped out the androids in the room with intense, white light. With them out of the way, he unlocked the door and caught sight of the Lich at the end of the hall.
Sora began his frontal assault by shooting a series of Firaga spells at the Lich, then ran along the walls to slash it from its side. Once he unleashed enough aerial combo attacks to lay waste to its health, the Lich released 2B's heart from its clutches and retreated into a dark portal.
"2B's okay, now I need to save 9S and A2!"
After running inside the portal, he found himself diving into the oblivion, fastly approaching stained glass portals covered in darkness.
"Here we go!"

This time around, Sora was standing in the City Ruins. Or rather a different version of it because now the city was a high tech metropolis populated by androids and humans alike. He figured they were humans anyways from their everyday-looking clothes whereas the androids all wore the same black YoRHa uniform.
9S's body was just a little way down a densely packed street where the Lich waited for him and like before it carried his heart away. "Great, and now I'm lost in a place I don't even know...or maybe I've already been here before? I better look around more."
The further he ventured into the city, the more he started to notice how the humans treated the androids like their personal, robotic servants. Instead of fighting off against machines or going on high stakes missions, the androids were now performing mundane tasks for their human counterparts.
'Do I even need to say how messed up this place is. I need to find that heartless as soon as possible.'
Sora ended up at a busy intersection where he came across a towering skyscraper with a wide hologram covering the front of the building. The hologram flashed the YoRHa insignia over it and a message began playing for the entire city to hear.
"Greetings from the Council of Humanity. While our brave androids on the military task force continue to protect the city from our deadly machine enemy, please continue to take precautionary measures of androids who have 'deserted'." Several profiles of androids appeared on the screen, including 8B and her team as well as A2. "As a reminder to all androids, those who do not follow the three laws of robotics are subject to termination."
'Of course A2's in trouble even in this world. Hopefully this means I'm getting closer to finding the heartless.' He walked around a bit more, but ended up at the same place where he started. 'This isn't working, maybe I can ask around.'
Sora went up to an angry-looking man and waved at him to get his attention. "Hey, mister, have you seen any big, scary monsters floating around? I'm looking for a friend."
"We are all going to die anyways," He responded. "But the heart will remain as a silhouette of time."
"What...uh, nevermind," He backed off, going up to a lonely woman next. "Excuse me, ma'am, this is a weird question, but have you seen any monsters around here carrying big scythes?"
"Carrying around a little hurt can't be all that bad. Hurting is part of caring."
"Okay...forget I asked."
It seemed like everyone around him had the same nebulous answers to give him whenever he asked them about the heartless.
One man asked him; "What will become of us all at the end of the line? But...the future doesn't scare me at all."
Another said, "Wherever you go, fly high."
Sora was starting to wonder if he would ever find a way to his friends when two figures shrouded in black cloaks approached him at the intersection.
"...humans are such fascinating creatures aren't they? It's only natural they would treat androids as mere objects."
'Wait, I know that voice!' Sora summoned his keyblade. "Adam!"
"How astute." Adam along with Eve unveiled themselves from their cloaks. "Shall we dance then?"
"You're on!" Just as he ran up to them and went for a side slash, they teleported away before the blade could hit, even with the Ultima Weapon's long reach. So he switched initiatives and shot magic at the two, but Adam and Eve managed to avoid his initial Blizzaga attack and the ones that followed by applying the same teleport at the last second strategy.
In a strange departure from their usual confrontational approach to battle, Adam and Eve didn't try to attack Sora back when they had the chance, rather they ran away from him, enticing him into a chase around the city. They teleported away too quickly for Sora to hold a shotlock on them, or connect any kind of attack for that matter, and with the humans and androids constantly getting in the way, he was getting frustrated.
"Arrgh- what's with these guys?! They're not even attacking, just running away..." He slowed down. "Wait...I know what they're doing. They're wasting my time on purpose so the heartless can get away with 9S's heart!"
Frantically searching past the buildings while avoiding Adam and Eve proved to be a challenging task until he got the idea to run up alongside one of the skyscrapers in order to get a bird's eye view of the city. Luckily, that's where he found the Lich who was dragging 9S's heart into the darkness. Sora threw his keyblade at it with deadly accuracy and sliced off its head, giving him enough time to save 9S's heart. "There, I gotcha. Just A2 left now!"
He went through the portal the Lich left behind and was back again inside the oblivion. There was only one stained glass portal left, but when he went through it, he was still falling in the same black void.
"That wasn't supposed to happen...where am I going now?!"
"...just promise you won't die on me."
"That's A2's voice!"
"Nothing that's not meant to be real would ever make me lose my goddamn mind like this."
"...these are just...programmed emotions. You're a human and I'm an android, none of this was ever real."
"...so, uh...was that all true?"
"But I'll admit it, I am going to miss you, Sora."
"You humans are really freakin' annoying, you know that?"
"Sora, I'm going to stay by your side, not as an android, but as your friend."
"Yeah, yeah, I was worried about you. Happy?"
"I...I'm A2, short for Attacker No. 2."
Once the voices faded away, he could see another stained glass pillar far below him, it was unclear at first, but he got closer to it and realized it was A2's own Dive to the Heart. She stood in the center with her back facing the front and her keyblade in hand while the background not only had portraits of her fallen teammates, but also Sora.
'Aw, so that means I'm in her heart too, but I'm worried about how broken it looks. I hope A2's gonna be okay.' Sora shielded himself with his arms as he fell straight through her Dive to the Heart, the glass shattering into millions of pieces upon impact.

When Sora opened his eyes, he was back in the decayed, broken down City Ruins. "Alright, I know this place! Finding that heartless should be no problem!" He wandered around for a while until he ran into a group of vicious machines. "I was wondering when these types of machines would show up again!"
Before he got the chance to destroy them, their bodies got chopped in half by a sword belonging to A2. However, she was far from herself based on the darkness emitting out of her. With the machines eliminated, she turned her sword at Sora next, ready to deliver the same fate to him.
'Not this again.' He blocked her initial attack, but A2 was relentless as always and forced him to fall back on defense while she unleashed a combo attack of her own against him. Then when she finally let up on her attacks, she smiled at him.
111111111"End of 101010 the line, 011000000 kid."
She shoved him off the top of a building he had no idea he was even on and was falling towards a giant body of water in an area that looked like the Flooded City. "What the- how'd I even end up hereeeeee一" Instead of plummeting into the thrashing waters, he landed inside of a roller coaster at the Amusement Park.
"Oh man...what the heck is going on," He groaned.
01010101010 "I'd enjoy the ride 00000000 while it lasts." 1111 A2 stood up from the front seat and approached Sora who was all the way at the back. "Then again 0101011111 this area always sucked."
"You're the darkness that's manifested from A2's heart, aren't you?! I'll take you down no matter what!" Taking aim, he shot a Blizzaga spell at her, freezing her to the cart, then used the trail of ice it left behind to quickly close the distance between them. When he reached her, he slammed his keyblade down, but the only thing he destroyed was the ice.
001001000000 "Weak and pathetic 101010101000 as always," A2 said, appearing behind him.
"Arrgh! A2!" He was about to throw his keyblade at her when the roller coaster dipped into a nosedive. All of a sudden, the surrounding area changed rapidly and the ride was now spiraling downwards into a sand dune.
Sora jumped off and fell into a pocket of sand, while it cushioned his fall, the gritty particles managed to find itself everywhere and he was brushing sand out of his hair and clothes as a result. "And this is why I hate the desert..." He continued his search of A2 and it wasn't long before he spotted her in the distance, although this time she was fully dressed in an Organization coat.
"There she is!" His airstep maneuver got him so close to her that his keyblade was right over her head, but A2 reacted to him in a matter of milliseconds, parrying his attack and knocking him on the ground.
Even though his first attack didn't go as planned, Sora thought of another strategy on the fly and cast an Aeroga spell that brewed up an intense sandstorm around them. While the powerful wind pushed him up into the air, A2 remained grounded and the sand provided him with enough cover to strike her down the back undetected and she staggered forward.
Before Sora could strike again, A2 immediately snatched his keyblade-wielding arm. "What did I ever see 010101010 in someone as worthless as you?" She threw him on the ground, but when he tried to get back up, something was keeping him down. Pretty soon he realized he was sinking into the sand itself, but by then, it was too late for him to escape and it seemed like he would get buried under the sand. However, the next thing he knew, he was falling past the gigantic trees of the Forest Kingdom.
'This sure hasn't gotten old, I can fall like this a hundred times.' Sora was able to get near a tree and run down the trunk all the way to the forest floor. 'And back to square one.' The wandering around part got cut short when a bullet raced past him, which let him know A2 was dangerously near. The bullets themselves were coming from all different directions, making it hard for him to pinpoint her location, so he decided to take cover and wait for A2 to come out of hiding.
Sora kept close watch of his surroundings, but based on the spine-tingling sensation he got when he felt cold metal press against the back of his head, A2 was the one who found him first. 1010110 "You're not good at this 010101 are you?" Her finger was right on the trigger when her entire body froze in place due to the Stop spell Sora cast on her.
"If I'm not good at this, then how am I still one step ahead of you!" He jumped back, shooting a series of Thundaga spells at her until he ran out of MP altogether. 'Was that was enough to destroy the darkness?'
Instead of a fragile heart getting released from its captivity, heartless began crawling over her body, then they quickly spread throughout the Forest. Sora destroyed as many of them as he could, but they kept on multiplying faster than he could keep up. There had to be hundreds of them, squirming all over each other, and exponentially increasing in numbers until the sky itself turned black. Then moments later, the blackness washed out and Sora was now standing inside the white Tower where it all began.
'Really glad that part's over. At least now that I'm at the Tower, I shouldn't be too far away from A2's heart.'
Across from him was A2 holding her keyblade. Her body didn't move and her head was resting on her chest like she was powered off. When Sora stepped closer to her, the Lich rose from the darkness, holding her heart tight in its clutches.
"There it is! I'm coming A2!"
A2 suddenly activated and rushed towards him.
00000111010101 "Don't you get it? Let me die. 010101010000000 Kill me 0000000111 that's what you're good at aren't you?" 101010101
With his magic depleted, Sora relied on physical attacks so he could transform into Ultimate Form, but he wasn't the only one who received a boost in power. A2 upgraded her keyblade into its bazooka form, then launched rounds of targeted missiles at Sora.
Sora teleported to get out of harm's way, then re-appeared behind A2. "Your heart is full of light! I won't let the darkness destroy you!" The blades circling around him pinned her to the ground then he swung his keyblade in their air for the Ultimate Finish.
The light pierced straight through the darkness hiding within the cracks of her heart, forcing the Lich out of the shadows and destroying it completely. After the light faded, Sora could see A2's heart float up to the sky.
"Finally...it's over."
End Third Transmission
Begin Final Transmission
"Oh man..." Sora rubbed the back of his head. "I hope that did the trick."
[TOWER SYSTEMS DISABLED]
[INITIATING SELF DESTRUCTION SEQUENCE]
"一Sora!" A2 rushed towards him, then scooped him up in her arms. "We're getting out of here!" She used her pod to blow up the falling debris until she found an opening where they could escape. 2B and 9S weren't far behind her and together, they all jumped out of the Tower as it collapsed. After such a fast sequence of events, the rest was just a matter of slowly hovering down to the ground with the help of their pods.
"Hold on tight. We got a long way down," A2 said.
From the height they were at, Sora could see the entire world stretched out before him. As beautiful as the sight was, it only saddened him because he knew it would be the last time he ever saw it.
A2 picked up on his prolonged silence and figured she'd be the one break it, "...You're not being annoying right now, that's not like you."
"I've got a lot on my mind..." He forced a smile on his face so he wouldn't raise A2's suspicion any further. "Sorry this whole mess was kind of caused by me ditching you at the camp, but on the bright side, you got an awesome keyblade out of it!"
"It ...came in handy."
"Man, I wish I could've seen you in action! Hey, maybe now you can finally keep up with me!"
"Like I was the one falling behind! But...I still barely know how to use the keyblade, I guess you could give me the run around so I can start doing some of the cool stuff you do."
"Wait-wait-wait, A2...you think the stuff I do is 'cool'?!"
"I- I just think it has useful combat alternatives...which I think is...cool..."
"Whatever you say, but if training you means getting to order you around for a change that would be pretty awesome! Well... if things could stay like this anyways."
"What're you talking about?"
"Nothing..."
They landed on the ground at the same time as 2B and 9S and the four of them were all back together again.
"You caused us a lot of trouble, but I'm glad you're safe," 9S said. "Hey...what's with the long face? You okay Sora?"
"I don't know the best way I can really say this..." He rubbed his arm. "But...I'm gonna disappear from this world soon."
"What- why?!"
"All of you lost your hearts because of ...me, so I used my power to save all of you. The thing is, I pay a heavy price for it, and the last time I used it I disappeared from my world and ended up here. This time... who knows where I'll end up."
"Oh no...so you can't go back home because of us," 9S said.
"All of this just to save us..." 2B said quietly.
"Hey, it's not a big deal, even if I can't go home now, I'll find a way back some—"
"How is that fair to you?! You deserve to live and be happy too so why do you have to suffer for us?!" A2 yelled.
"I would never be happy knowing that you guys died because of me! I'm not scared of what happens next either, I know that we'll always be in each other's hearts, even when I'm gone."
"Don't give me that crap! I know this isn't what you want—just to disappear again after you gave up everything to save this world... so stop acting like it!"
"I made my choice A2! And you know what?! I thought you'd actually be grateful for once since I just saved your life but of course not. You have to fight me on everything!"
"Sora's right, I don't like that he has to do to himself either, but I'm going to stand by him no matter what as his friend!" 9S argued.
"Then you don't care about him like I do." A2 turned around to walk away.
"So what, you're just gonna leave now?! Again?!" Sora grabbed hold of her arm at first, but she snatched it back, so he stood in front of her.
"Get out of my way! I'm not watching you disappear just like everyone else in my life."
"No! Why do you always run away from me when I need you the most A2?! You think it hurts to watch someone you care about disappear, try being me! You're not the only one who's hurting here, your actions affect other people too!"
"Yeah, just like when you left the camp to take the Tower down by yourself and when you decided to become everyone's martyr because you just wanna save everyone's day, don't you?! Everyone ...but yourself." A2 was squeezing her fists so hard it nearly crushed her own hands, then she just let go and the tension dissipated from her like steam from an engine. But it was the look she gave Sora, a look of a person who had their heart broken a million ways that felt like a punch in the face to him.
"Look...I'd give anything to spend more time with my friends, but I'll see all of you again someday because our hearts are forever connected, so we'll never really be too far apart!"
"Why do you keep saying this same stupid shit to me?! 'Our hearts are connected'...like I'm supposed to know what the hell that means!"
"It means that we have an unbreakable bond and...that you have a special place in my heart so I won't ever forget you. That's how much our friendship means to me and why I'm willing to put everything on the line for it."
For once, A2 didn't have anything to reply back with, but 2B and 9S more than made up for the silence.
"Your optimism is contagious," 2B smiled at him. "I'm not sure of the logistics, but nothing's impossible for a human like you. When you are gone, we'll continue to fight for you and the rest of humanity...we owe you that much."
9S untied his visor. "That's our promise to you as androids, you're worth way more to us than just data and we'll never, ever forget someone as amazing as you!"
Then their goodbyes became real because Sora's existence slowly began fading away from their world.
For A2, it took seeing him disappear in front of her like that to make her realize what was really important to her at the end of the day. So she pulled him in for a hug, knowing it would be the last time she would ever feel his embrace. "I'm sorry for putting so much shit on you, you just piss me off sometimes because you don't know how much you mean to me. That's why all of this sucks...you've always made me so happy...and I know I never said that enough to you..."
"It's okay, you just have your own way of showing it...maybe not with kind words, but through all the fighting and arguing I could tell how much you cared about me."
"...You put that way better than I ever could."
They let go of each other and A2 saw how much he was crying. "Sora...great...you're gonna get me going too if you keep crying like that."
"I'm sorry...I can't help it." He tried to wipe his tears away, but they kept coming down.
Her mind was drawing blanks on what to say to cheer him up and with their time together quickly running out, she wasn't left with many options. "Okay...I think I can do one last nice thing for you ...just don't take this the wrong way." She was gentle with him as she held his face in her hands. Then she leaned forward and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later...Sora."
And then he was gone from their world.

"DEVOLA!" Popola nearly squeezed the life right back out of her sister. "You're okay! I was so, so worried about you! Don't you ever do that to me again!" She sobbed.
"Trust me...I don't plan on doing anything crazy like that anytime soon. So...what happened while I was out anyway?"
"It's... a long story, but we can talk it over a drink," A2 said.
"I like the sound of that."
21B crossed her arms. "Absolutely not. Drinking is the last thing you should do post-operation!"
"Uh-huh, so what do you got?" Devola asked, blatantly ignoring her.
"The kind that'll knock you out for a few hours."

With Riku gone again, home just isn't quite the same without you guys soooo Naminé and I decided we would have a journey of our own and travel across the worlds in search of any missing machines from Pascal's village!＼（Ｔ∇Ｔ）／
I felt terrible about all the machines I destroyed and even though Pascal says that he's fine, I can tell that he's still missing a part of him. I figured helping Pascal to rebuild his village would be the least I could do and Naminé insisted she come too so that settled it. Now we just need a gummiship...
And I already know what you would say if you were here but we'll be fine, there's no darkness this princess can't overcome! (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧ Starting a new journey isn't so hard as long as you have friends to count on and a strong heart leading the way...I know that's something you would tell me :) Even though I'm worried for you and Riku, especially since he decided to travel the Realm of Darkness alone this time around, I'm hoping that one day our destinies will lead us to be reunited once more!
