"Tomura!"
Izuku reached through the bars but he could barely touch him. He grabbed at his dirty, tattered shirt but he didn't move at all. Tears started to sting his eyes.
NO! NO! NO!
Izuku pulled away and jerked at the bars but they wouldn't budge. He pulled at his hair as tears started rolling down his cheeks.
How am I going to get to him?!
He slammed his fists into the bars.
"ARGH!"
He grabbed two different bars and started pulling. The metal and rock started to creak from the amount of strength he used to pull but it wasn't enough. Izuku's vision was now blurry and he almost couldn't see. He screamed as his muscles pulled harder before he felt the power surge through his arms.
The power ripped through his hands and the two bars snapped out, throwing him onto the ground. He got up ignoring the fact his arms were in pain but all he could think about was getting to Tomura. He ripped out the next two with much less effort. He finally made enough space to get through into the cell his ex boyfriend was in.
"Tomura! TOMURA!" he cried kneeling before the ex villain.
No response.
Izuku grabbed his wrist and checked for a pulse. It seemed ok but it was weaker than it should have been. He pulled his sleeves to see he had cuts and bruises. He raised his head to see his face looked bad too. Maybe it looked dried out but there was a cut on his lip and left eye. Izuku bit his lip to stop the sobbing that threatened to let loose.
The man before him looked terrible.
"Tomura!"
He gave his cheek light slaps as his nose started to run and his face was wet with tears.
Please wake up! Please! I need you to wake up!
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" Izuku cried.
He flipped open his side pouch, pulling out a small bottle of high sugar juice and some crackers. He had no idea what state he would be in or if they had even fed him at all.
"I'm so sorry!" he repeated.
Izuku lifted his head up and poured a little bit of liquid into his mouth. Without warning, Tomura's eyes sprung open and he started to choke. The ex villain looked at Izuku through slits. He looked completely out of it. Izuku grabbed his face as he put his forehead against his,
"I'm here now," he whispered.
"I... Izuku? I must be dreaming."
"Not this time," he said with a small smile, "It's time to wake up."
"Just leave me here."
"I can't do that."
Izuku picked up the bottle and handed it to him. Tomura held up his middle finger to keep himself from destroying the bottle of whatever it was.
"Drink that and I have something for you. How... What did they do to you?"
"I got my ass beat a few times. I almost killed myself trying to use my quirk... this cell is quirk proof pretty much."
Izuku stroked his cheek but the ex villain jerked back.
"What the hell is on your hands?"
The man blinked before smiling.
"The solution I needed to come in and save you."
He held up his hands but Tomura couldn't see anything.
"I don't see anything."
"These gloves are inspired by the gloves I made for you. They are similar to my boots. I made Himiko and Mei a pair too."
"Your hands... they look bruised."
"I did rip off four bars from your cell."
Tomura turned to see the gap Izuku had made.
"You should've left me here."
"I can't."
"I betrayed you."
The quirkless man fell silent.
"You deserve better."
"Maybe in a way you did but you didn't. Look at the condition you're in."
Tomura blinked.
"You didn't betray me... I... I love you," he said as his voice trembled.
"This is one step towards your dream," the ex villain said looking away.
"You're right... it is but not to the one you think. I... I was already offered a hero job by Ochako..."
Tomura looked back up at him in shock.
"I turned her down twice already... I could only have it if I left you alone but I can't do that. I can't see myself without you. Maybe it sounds stupid to others but I love you and I refuse to continue without you."
"Are you stupid-
Izuku kissed him quickly, silencing him.
"We have to go. Himiko is going to need my help. Can you stand?"
"I can try. I do feel a little better with that weird ass drink you gave me."
He stood up and helped Tomura up.
"You have permission to use your quirk. Kacchan gave the consent."
"Kacchan?"
Izuku blushed.
"It's a childhood nickname for Katsuki. Let's go."
Izuku squeezed through the gap then Tomura.
"It's really dark but let's go. If you need me to carry you, let me know."
"You're shitting me."
Izuku grabbed his wrist and they darted out of that room.
The way back out seemed to go by faster with their quick pace. The two of them made it back to the part where Izuku and Himiko split up. Izuku grabbed the tail of the ex villain's tattered shirt making him turn around to face him. Izuku's mouth couldn't form the words to say what he needed. It was the first time they had been together without Izuku feeling slightly bitter.
"Where is Himiko?" Tomura asked.
"Facing Dabi."
"Alone?"
Izuku swallowed hard.
"I have to help her. You need to make it back to the entrance and outside with Kacchan and Camie."
"You're fucking kidding me?! She's fighting-
"I know. That's why I am going. You are in no condition."
The building started shaking. Loud explosions were heard around them then it went quiet.
"What?! You know what he can do to you?!" Tomura yelled.
"Actually, I'm aware since I had an entire notebook on him."
The ex villain closed his mouth.
"I need you to trust me now. To know I can get us out of this."
"Aren't you scared?" Tomura snapped, feeling panic rising in him.
"I'm afraid but I'm more afraid of losing you."
The two men stared at each other.
"Let me do this because I can. I won't let you down. If anyone crosses your path, defend yourself. There's no holding back now."
"Giving me permission to kill?"
"They were going to kill you. I don't see why it matters."
Tomura stared at him.
"Not very hero like."
"I don't plan on becoming one. I'm just here to help, save you and save the city. I only cared about you."
"Fine."
Tomura started running for the entrance.

The smoke in the room was thick but it continued to air out quickly. Himiko pulled the small straw hiding in her skin tight suit and started drinking the warm, red liquid going through it.
I didn't think I would have to use it but I'm gonna have too. I have no other choice. I hope Izuku was able to save him after all.
"Where are you?! You can't hide in a small fucking room for long!"
"I want you to have this."
Himiko stared at Bakugou weirdly.
"What is it?"
He pulled three gallons of blood, placing it on his desk.
"Who's blood-
"It's mine."
She stared at the bottles, feeling the blood thirst rise in her.
"You're...kidding me."
"I'm aware of what Dabi can do since I fought him before. If you're that hell bent on beating his ass, use this. It'll destroy the gloves Deku made you but he can always make you another pair. My quirk will be perfect to use since this hideout is inside and that asshole will use his own quirk."
"I..." she trailed off.
"You... went through a lot for me. I know I over took your case that had against him but I want to ensure our victory. Fuck shit up Toga. Fuck his shit up that he never forgets you and your name strikes fear into his body."
She grinned at the memory as her body started to shift. Her hands were definitely very sweaty thanks to the gloves she had on. This was the moment she had been waiting on. She couldn't wait to see what it was like being a pro hero with such a powerful quirk. The air around them cleared out some enough for her to see Dabi standing there.
Now, he was staring at the same man he tried to kill once before.
"You have Ground Zero's blood?"
"Ready to get your ass kicked?"
Dabi glared at her.
"Don't like the way I look? The way I sound?" she taunted in Bakugou's voice.
Her two hands exploded, rocketing her forward. She set a blast in his face, making his growl and yell out. The building shook around them.
"Come here, Dabi... I have an ass whooping for you!" she yelled out.
Himiko launched herself at him again. He wasn't do too well with the quicker movement she had now. She now understood how Ground Zero was the hero to beat... his power was no joke. She jumped onto his and started rapid firing on his face until he slammed a fist into her side. She staggered away, sucking away on her straw.
The draw back was the stronger the quirk, the more blood she needed to make it last. Drinking three gallons of blood would end up making her sick but she had no other choice... not until back up arrived.
Shit... my suit is almost out of that gunky crap. I'm gonna have to be more careful... I can feel the heat in this room more now than before.
She looked down at her suit. It had a giant hole in the arm but at least she wasn't hurt... yet.
Dabi can at her with a flaming blue fist but she jumped out of the way, blowing a blast into his face. She watched as he rubbed his face. His staples started to look more black than silver now. At this rate she would end up killing him since his body was already weak against his own quirk but question was, could she live to make it through all that first?
The whole point was to rescue Tomura and take them down... not make herself a victim.
The two of them continued this up for another ten minutes but she was beginning to feel sick. She was sure she had another gallon at least but she was hitting her limit and her hands were bleeding and cracked. Himiko had no idea how Katsuki managed to keep his hands looking unscathed from such a quirk. Just as Dabi pinned her to the ground, a foot came flying out of no where, slamming into the villain. Dabi went flying into a wall.
Himiko looked up to see Izuku standing there.
"Izuku!"
"Sorry... Tomura's ok. I got him leaving the building."
Tears filled her eyes.
"I'm so glad!"
"Are you ok Himiko?" Izuku asked, helping her up.
He looked concerned.
"My stomach is... gross."
"Go vomit then."
She looked away.
"I gotta fight," she said.
"It's tripping me out you look like Kacchan and you're speaking his voice but I never thought I would fight beside of him in my life. It's so surreal."
She laughed before burping.
"It's you!" Dabi yelled pointing at Izuku, "You're that ass from the building!"
"Actually, that was me," Himiko said grinning as Ground Zero, "I loved every second of that moment."
Dabi charged in at them both throwing blue flames.
Without warning, Izuku's suit sprayed off that clear liquid. It spattered everywhere, making Dabi yell in frustration. The green haired man sprinted, slid and slammed a fist into Dabi's stomach making him buckle over in pain. Izuku launched an assault of attacks within seconds of each other. Himiko stood there in shock at how fast the man could move but then...
It was the powered up boots that would hurt him in the end that made it so he could fight like that.
Oh no.

Tomura stepped out of the hideout feeling the cool air on his skin. He almost wanted to cry. He made his way forward towards the road when he thought he heard something.
"Tomura!" Mei cried out, running towards him.
"Mei-
She threw her arms around his neck, pulling him down for a hug. He did his best to hug her back without using his hands. She pulled away then slapped his hard enough to make his head snap to the side.
"FUCK!"
"You asshole!" she shouted.
"I'm sorry-
"You should be fucking sorry!" she yelled more.
Tomura looked at her, feeling guilty enough already when he saw the tears rolling down her cheeks.
"We were so scared we wouldn't see you again!"
"Where's Deku?" Bakugou asked glaring at him.
"He went after Himiko to help fight against Dabi."
"We have Spinner and Mr. Compress already. They didn't really put up much of a fight," the pro hero said, "But we aren't as weak as we used to be either."
"I have to go back and help them-
"No!"
Mei grabbed a fistful of his shirt to stop him.
"You don't understand-
"I do understand!" Mei cried.
The ex villain stared down at the ground.
"Toga has been on this case for a while. She had plans to reform her old companions so you all could be friends again but the moment they were going to hurt you, she came to me," Bakugou said.
"She has?"
"Of course," Camie said with a smile, sitting in the grass, "She wanted to save you all. She did this for everyone but then it was when Dabi mentioned getting everyone back together and attacking... it wasn't going to happen."
"This is her fight."
"It's not Izuku's fight!" Tomura said looking more upset.
"It is now," Mei said, "It's the fight he wanted. To keep you from danger. To rescue you from the world that tried to take you back. He needs this."
Katsuki looked ashamed.
"This is my way of an apology to him. You just have to trust he can make it out. Don't make my mistake."
Tomura turned as he heard more explosions were heard.
Trust him.
Without warning, half of the building collapsed to the ground. Tomura started to run for it but Mei grabbed him around the waist. He yelled and screamed for Izuku but it wasn't heard under the deafening sound of the building falling apart. Katsuki started running for the rubble and other half of the building that threatened to fall.
"Is Himiko with you?!" Vlad yelled.
He was covered in dirt and a few scratches.
"No, she's still inside," Camie said.
"Let me go!" Tomura yelled.
He felt weak. Tired. But he couldn't just stand there waiting.
"If you run in there and get yourself hurt or killed, it was all for nothing! We all did this for you!" Mei screamed.
"DAMNIT!" the ex villain screamed.
Suddenly, the other half of the building collapsed inward. Everyone started screaming. Dust filled the area around them. Katsuki ran back, shoving Camie into the van from the dust. Mei fell onto the ground by Tomura who fell to his knees. He felt so sick to his stomach now. Everything that just happened was for nothing.
No one moved.
There were blue flames still around the rubble and it was spreading like wild fire. Another explosion let off, throwing more debris. More dust clouded the area and tapered off within seconds. There was someone coming out of the disaster zone. Tomura stood up the best he could. The whole thing wore him out with his already weakened condition.
"Izuku?!" Mei called.
It was him after all.
He had Himiko on his side with her arm around his neck. Her Bakugou disguise was falling off of her in brown chunks like mud. Her suit was nearly in ruin, barely covering her body. Izuku's arms were exposed and dark purple. His chest was covered in blood and cuts. He looked like he was limping. As he got closer, they all saw Dabi's body on his back.
"DEKU!" Katsuki yelled.
"Himiko!"
The two pro heroes went to assist him. Izuku collapsed under the weight of the villain on his back, falling into the grass. His eyes were barely open when he noticed his childhood friend staring down at him. Then he saw Tomura.
"You crazy fucker!"
Izuku smirked at him and passed out.
He finally got to be the hero he always wanted to be.
