Mary knocked on their apartment door, Judy heard the knock from the bedroom, she walked out in her bra to see that Nick had already let her in.
"Hey sis! Where is your shirt? Did I interrupt something?"
Judy chuckled as she shook her head.
"No I just didn't know if Nick was gonna get the door because he never does!"
Mary nodded as Judy walked back into the bedroom to finish getting ready.
"So if they get hungry Judy has pumped some milk and it's in the fridge, they'll most likely sleep the whole time, the remote for the TV is right there, there's food in the fridge if you get hungry"
Mary smiled as she walked over to the crib where Sabrina and Wyatt were sleeping.
"They're just so beautiful, wow!"
Nick smiled, Mary turned to Nick and gave a smirk.
"So, I see you're dressed up fancy, what's happening tonight?"
Nick gave a small laugh.
"Nothing, just going out"
Mary gave a small nod as she turned her attention back to the crib.
"Ok I'm ready!"
Judy walked out of the bedroom with a dark purple dress on, it had a beautiful black belt and a low cut top, it was knee length with a zipper in the back, it had one long sleeve and one short one, she had a simple necklace on and was truly stunning.
"Wow Judy you look great!"
Her sister smiled.
"Yeah you do"
Nick nodded in awe.
"Ready to go?"
She nodded and They grabbed their things and they walked out the door.
"So where are we going?"
He gave her a smile.
"I was thinking we'd go to dinner, then I have a place to show you, a place that has been special to us for a long time"
She smiled as they made their way to the car, Judy got in and Nick put the key in the ignition, they drove to a fancy restaurant that was famous in downtown Zootopia.
"We have a reservation, name is under Wilde"
Judy smiled as she linked her arm with Nick's they followed the waiter to a table in the back.
"Have a nice night you two"
Nick looked at Judy and she was in shock.
"You really went all out huh?"
He gave her a smirk.
"You bet"
Some time passed and they had their meals, they exchanged conversations and laughs during the night, when they were in the car Nick drove to a spot Judy soon recognized.
"Nick, why are we here?"
He smiled, through the darkness she saw his smile, it was a smile she loved so much, a smile only she saw, a smile filled with love! He stopped the car at the bridge where she came back to him, the bridge that started their love, that day when she apologized to him was a day neither of them would ever forgot, they got out of the car and walked to the top of the bridge.
"We're here for a reason, and it's a very different reason from the last time we were here"
She took his paw in hers as they looked at the lake in the distance.
"Remember the day we promised to be completely honest with each other?"
She nodded.
"Yes I do"
He smiled.
"Well I need to be honest now"
Judy's smile fell from her face, she had worry on her face, what was going on?
"The day I first met you, I thought you were nothing more then a carrot loving dumb bunny, oh how I was wrong! When you came to this bridge to apologize to me months later I had done a lot of thinking, I realized something... I loved you! I always have and I always will!! The time we first kissed, it gave me life, our first date gave me hope for the future that I didn't always have, the first time we made love revealed a side of me I didn't know existed, and it was a beautiful side Judy! But mammals change and grow, so I have only one question for you, can we grow together, can we change into something more beautiful? And Judy"
He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring.
"Will you marry me?"
She stood there frozen and without a second thought she moved her head up and down then hugged him.
"YES NICK YES! OH MY GOD YES!"
He smiled as she pulled apart from him, he put the ring on her paw and she kissed him, the word that had come out of her mouth just changed their lives forever... that word, was YES!
