Ikkaku sighed. That meeting between her captain and X-Drake was incredibly boring.
-Captain ... Are you going to take much longer?
-No, better go with Bepo and the others while I finish talking to X-Drake-ya.
As the woman spoke to her captain, she noticed that X-Drake kept looking at her.
-I-Is something wrong? - she asked nervously. She didn't like having to deal with other pirates to be honest. However, to Ikkaku's and Law's surprise, X-Drake gently took her hand and kissed it.
-Trafalgar, you never told me you had such an attractive woman in your crew~
Law looked at the pirate with a grimace of confusion.
-What?
-Wow - Ikkaku blushed - I didn't know you were such a gentleman mister X-Drake~
Law looked at them uncomfortably.
"We were doing business. Why the hell do I have to see him flirting with my nakama now?"
Suddenly, X-Drake exclaimed as soon as he saw Mina, who was walking to another room while drinking a bottle of rum.
-AHHH! I KNOW YOU!
Everyone looked at the pirate confused, Mina included.
-Excuse me, who are you?
-You're that shameless woman! That time in the hot springs of country X! Don't remember me!? We attacked those thermal baths and you decided to go naked in front of everyone!
"Yep, it sounds like Mina..." everyone thought as they sighed.
Mina, with a completely expressionless face, stared at the pirate for a few seconds.
-Oh.
-Now you remember me!?
-Nop, I have no idea who you are.
They all fell down.
-Do you have any pending issues with Mina-ya? - Law asked a little annoyed.
"Oh no, now he won't listen to me anymore..." Ikkaku thought a little sad. She recognized that Mina was very pretty, it was normal that she took the attention of everyone.
-Not at all, I don't like shameless women like her! - X-Drake looked at Ikkaku again - I prefer elegant and sophisticated ladies~
"Elegant and sophisticated..." Law and Mina dropped a bead of sweat behind their heads.
However, Ikkaku had stars in her eyes.
-Would you have a date with this humble pirate? - X-Drake asked, to which Ikkaku nodded excitedly.
-A date with that pirate!? Are you fucking crazy!? - Shachi exclaimed annoyed as soon as Ikkaku told him what had happened - Don't even think about it!
-Huh? I haven't asked for your permission! - Ikkaku exclaimed angrily - If a handsome boy asks me for a date, it's normal that I accept! Don't even think about getting into my affairs!
As Ikkaku left angrily, Shachi glared sideways, until he saw Law and Mina staring at him.
-Captain! You have to do something about it! You can't let her do that!
-What difference does it make if Ikkaku-ya goes out? You do it all the time and she doesn't tell you anything.
-Is not the same!
"Since when it's not the same?"
Shachi grabbed Law.
-Captain! You have to follow Ikkaku to make sure that bastard does nothing to her! - Shachi also looked at Mina - You go too, Mina-chan!
They both looked at Shachi with annoyance. They thought the same. "Why the hell do we have to go!? So annoying...!"
-Some hours later-
Law saw that Mina was wearing a white dress he bought her long ago and a white hat to match with a decorative sunflower.
-Why are you doing dressed so elegant? Aren't we going to spy on Ikkaku-ya?
-Do you think I'm going to be all afternoon only watching them from afar? Since we're going out, at least make it seem like a date!
Law blushed.
-A date... That doesn't sound bad...
Law was excited at the thought of finally having a date alone. Mina, for her side, remembered that in that city there was a restaurant that she had always wanted to go, to but never had the opportunity because of not having money to pay for it.
"This is my opportunity to surprise Mina-ya."
"Now that Law always pays, I can finally eat that wonderful strawberry tart."
-I don't understand why we have be watching over Ikkaku-ya and X-Drake-ya - Law sighed annoyed - I couldn't care less about their date!
-Well - Mina answered while eating her third dessert - Shachi have asked us because his worried about Ikkaku, don't you think?
Law watched Ikkaku from far away, who seemed pleased as she spoke alongside X-Drake. They were both sitting a few tables away from them.
Then, he turned his head and looked at Mina, who was still eating, despite having ordered already 3 fucking desserts.
-You'll get cavities if you continue eating so much sugar.
-Stop worrying so much - she replied rolling her eyes - Make sure Ikkaku is fine.
-You only came with me because you wanted to eat here, am I right?
-Not at all~
They both continued talking, not realizing that Ikkaku had already seen them from afar.
"What the hell are they doing here!? I hope those idiots haven't convinced the captain to spy on me!"
-Is something wrong? - X-Drake asked.
-What? Not a all, hehe~ - she laughed nervously - Everything is fine, fufufu.
"This is my chance to to avoid dying single! I'm not going to waste it for anything in the world!"
Law paid to the clerk while he delivered the cotton candy to Mina.
-I don't know why I bought it for you. You've already eaten 5 desserts before!
-Shut up, I can't hear what those two are talking about! - Mina interrupted Law as she watched from afar Ikkaku and X-Drake, who were now walking.
-Can you tell me why are we still here? They're doing fine! We don't need to follow them everywhere - Law complained while eating some of the cotton candy.
-I thought you didn't like it - she smirked.
-I paid for it, I'm going to eat it too.
Ikkaku squinted at Law and Mina, who were holding hands as they stared at her.
"What the hell are they doing now? Showing me how happy and lovey-dovey they are!?"
-...And like I was telling you... - Ikkaku heard X-Drake keep talking.
-Oh yes! You're right! hehe~
"God, this man is so boring. He only talks about lizards and planets!"
It was undoubtedly one of the most boring dates Ikkaku had ever been on. She had only accepted because she found X-Drake attractive.
"I hope he's at least more interesting in bed..." she sighed bored.
-The next day-
Ikkaku arrived at the submarine in the morning. She saw that Law and Mina were in the kitchen eating breakfast.
-Hmmm, well you're right, it doesn't taste that bad - the captain said as he tried that toast full of honey and jam that Mina had given him - It has so many sugar that I even forget that has bread.
-See? I told you~
-Oi - Ikkaku caught their attention - I'm back.
-Oh, Ikkaku-ya.
-How about last night?~
-Meh. But next time I'd appreciate it if you two didn't spy on me! - she exclaimed annoyed.
They both shrugged.
-Shachi was worried about you and asked us to do it.
Ikkaku sighed. Obviously neither of those two were following her of their own free will. Both Law and Mina were terribly indifferent to other's lives.
-That boy is so annoying, I'll kill him as soon as I see him!
-And, is X-Drake a gentleman?~" Mina asked with a smirk.
-He's the most boring guy ever! - sighed Ikkaku - He only spoke to me about astronomy and reptiles! What girl wants to hear that during a date!? And he didn't even touch me once! I practically had to take the initiative myself!
Ikkaku and Mina continued gossiping about the date.
"Why the hell do I have to hear about this?" Law asked himself.
-Ikkaku! - Shachi exclaimed when he saw his nakama - Are you okay? Didn't that pirate do anything perverted to you?
-Unfortunately not - she replied annoyed - And don't ask the captain to go spy on me again! Do you think I'm 15 years old!?
-Ehhh!? I only cared about you! I don't trust those damn pirates!
-WE'RE PIRATES!

Law and Mina listened to those two argue as they continued to eat breakfast without saying anything, as if it was a show.
"Well, I'm not going to worry about you again!"
-Perfect! Nobody has asked you to do it, you idiot!
Suddenly it rang out at DenDen Mushi. Mina got up to answer.
-Ikkaku - Mina called her while smiling maliciously - It's your boyfriend~
Ikkaku blanched and motioned for Mina to tell X-Drake that she wasn't there.
-Didn't you like that pirate? - Shachi asked annoyed.
-Of course not! If I wanted to go out with boring boys, I already have you!
Shachi blushed.
-W-Well, I'm glad you're not going to have more dates with him. I do not like him.
-W-Whatever ... - Ikkaku blushed too.
-Agggg! SHAMELESS WOMAN! I DON'T WANT TO KEEP TALKING WITH YOU! - They all heard X-Drake yell at Mina as he hung up the Den Den Mushi.
-Wow, what a shy man, fufufu ~
-What the hell did you say to make him scream like that? - Law asked him - Do me a favor and finish your meal instead of continuing teasing X-Drake-ya!
Mina sat back next to Law and they both continued to eat breakfast together while the captain continued to criticize Mina's terrible eating habits.
Shachi and Ikkaku looked at the couple.
-I'm so envious. I wish a man cared so much about me...!
-I care about you - Shachi pouted to her.
-But you don't count!
-Oi, Mina-ya. There are too many people around here, we better come back later. I'll buy you what you want later.
-It's the only place they sell lobster. I don't want to leave without trying it.
Law sighed as he looked at Mina from afar waiting for her turn to be attended.
A man much taller than she was by her side to buy also a lobster. When it was their turn, they didn't decide who went first.
-Don't worry darling, you can go first, fufufu~
Mina recognized that voice instantly, as did Law.
There were too many people around them all, so Law knew he couldn't cause a fuss and use his powers.
-Shit!
Mina was completely paralyzed. She knew that man was looking at her with a big smirk, and she felt his hands around her neck even though he wasn't touching her.
She wasn't afraid to see him, but neither was she happy. Those confused feelings returned to her even after so long. "I'm not a kid anymore, and I'm free. Why am I so nervous?"
Would he try to kill her? Would he try to pretend kindness? With this man, you never knew what to expect from him, and that stressed Mina.
-Sir - said the clerk - Do you want the lobster or should I give it to the lady?
Doflamingo smiled as he looked at Mina.
-It doesn't matter, my daughter can share with me. Right, Mina?~
