Chaos: Yeah, yeah, mom. Whatever you say, just do the disclaimer.

Chapter 20: Master And Student Part Two: Harmonic Waters
***Meanwhile***
Rika and Renamon were walking down the large spiral ramp, both Tamer and partner were silent, one was silent for respect to allow her Tamer to 'collect herself' so to speak, and the other was silent because she was remembering the first time she had met Aqua.
Then, after a moment of silence, Renamon looked over to Rika, and noticed how nervous her Tamer was and asked, "Rika, are you okay? You seem, nervous."
And Renamon was right, for once, Rika did not have a disinterested aura around her, and instead she was very uneasy. Rika took a deep breath, then she said, "In all honesty, Renamon, I'm just nervous. It's been almost a decade since I have last seen Master Aqua, and I guess, I'm uncertain how she would react to how I've changed."
It was a rare occasion to see Rika actually dropping her cold hearted 'Ice Queen' guise, and actually showed her real emotions. She rarely did it, mostly because she had built up a reputation of being a the local Ice Queen, and she only let some of her real self out when she's alone with her friends, sometimes, not that often, not really, only with Takato, maybe.
And, you can tell that, while she may look calm, she had many thoughts running through her head.
Renamon placed her paw on Rika, who looked up at the golden vixen, who said, "Rika, you shouldn't be afraid of the past. Isn't that what we've been trying to get through to Takato? If we want him to accept the past and move on, shouldn't we lead by example and do the same?"
Rika stopped for a moment, then she looked down at her D-Ark, then she lightly smiled and shook her head. And with a shake of her head, lightly chuckled, she said, "Yeah, you're right. I've been letting Goggle-Head's own fears become added to mine. Thanks, Rena." Rika then looked down and saw that they still had a long way to walk down, then she said, "Why don't we skip our walking for hours, and just get down to business?"
Renamon simply smiled and said, "Thought you'd never ask."
And with that, both Tamer and partner turned to the pit and jumped, falling at incredible speeds, but just when they were about to reach the bottom, they rotated their bodies, and landed gracefully on their feet.
At the bottom of the stairs, our two girls found another door, this one had two red energy lines going down from the sides of the door, only to rotate to opposite sides of each other. Then the doors opened and revealed a large corridor, with tons of doors lining the hallways, although, close observation revealed that the doors were actually prison cells, or close to being prison cells.
Rika groaned at all the doors lining the halls, then she said, "Great. Just what we needed. How am I supposed to find where I need to go, now?"
Then Rika's Wayfinder began glowing, Rika then took out her Wayfinder, then she said, "Well, Grandmaster Eraqus did say that with these Wayfinders, we would be able to find our Masters, so…" Rika lifted her Wayfinder up and began aiming it pointlessly at the cells that lined the walls.
Rika then noticed that her Wayfinder was glowing brighter when she pointed it directly in front of her. Rika looked to her partner, and shrugged. Then she and Renamon walked down the hall, and watched as the Wayfinder began glowing brighter and brighter, until they stopped at silver door with black chains covering it.
Rika took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for whatever lies beyond the door. Then, she walked up to the door and watched as it opened up slowly and revealed something that made her gasp. The room itself was small, and circular, with a chair smack dab in the middle of it.
But that wasn't what made her gasp. It was the old, almost rusted armor that laid directly in front of the chair, as well as the Keyblade lying next to it. It looked very ancient, the 'teeth' themselves looked almost like a crown, with colors of silver and blue decorating the whole Keyblade.
Rika ran up to the Keyblade and picked it up, then she said, "This…this is Master Aqua's Keyblade!" Then she looked over at the armor, then she said, "And that must be her armor, that Grandmaster Eraqus had mentioned."
Renamon then asked, "If those do belong to Aqua, then, why are they here, Rika?"
Rika was about to say something, when her Wayfinder began glowing again. Rika took out her Wayfinder, then she asked, "Why are you glowing now? I found Aqua's Keyblade and armor, so, why?"
That was when a women's voice spoke in a motherly tone, "Because, it means that I can finally bring you to me, and test you, Rika."
Rika's eyes widened at that, then before she could ask more, the Wayfinder began glowing even more brightly, and then, Aqua's Keyblade, Stormfall, began glowing as well. Then, Rika's Wayfinder shot out a beam of light at the base of the chair. Then Stormfall shot out another beam of light into the chair, and the two opened up a portal of darkness.
Rika and Renamon looked at one another, then Rika sighed and said, "Well, no time like the present, eh, Renamon?"
Renamon only silently nodded, then, Rika turned towards the armor and thought, 'If we really are going to the Realm Of Darkness, as I believe, I do hope that we can make it back in one piece, and maybe, just maybe, bring Master Aqua with us.'
Then both Tamer and Digimon walked into the new portal, which then closed behind them. When the two exited the portal, the found themselves in an area with a setting moon forever in place, as well as dark rocks, that almost seemed pitch black in color covered a beach. In all honesty, it reminded Rika and Renamon of the Dark Ocean, from the Digimon T.V. series, or, as they now know, the Eastern Quadrants Digital World.
Rika then shivered and had a very strange feeling wash over her, "Whoa. Déjà Vu."
Renamon looked over to Rika and asked, "You say something, Rika?"
Rika shook her head and said, "No, not really." Rika then thought, 'Why does it feel like I've been here before? I know I haven't. Is this what Einstein meant when he first entered the Wastelands? A strange feeling of being in a place you've never been to, only to feel like you have?'
Renamon didn't really buy it, but she let it slide, she knew that this was important to Rika, then she asked, "So, where is Aqua?"
At that moment, the motherly voice from before spoke out and said, "Over here."
Rika and Renamon turned behind them and saw a small circular clearing that led into a hidden pathway, and from that pathway, came a young women, who looked no older then eighteen years old, with deep sea blue eyes, and dark blue hair. She also had a welcoming smile on her face.
Rika's eyes widened and she slowly said, "A…Aqua?" You could actually see tears build up in her eyes. Rika may not have known Aqua for very long, but she still felt as if she had known her all her life. And seeing her now, was like seeing an old friend who you haven't seen in years.
Aqua simply smiled and said, "Yes, Rika, it's me."
Rika rubbed her eyes and had a more serious expression then she said, "It's been ten years since I've last saw you, master. Have you been stuck in this place for that long? That's horrible."
Aqua sadly nodded and said, "I have, unfortunately. And, yes, it is. I banished myself here because I thought I would be saving Terra from this fate. I hoped that Terra would have been safe, but…I was wrong."
Rika nodded grimly and said, "Xehanort. He took over Terra's heart, and then, he over threw Goggle-Heads father, and banished him somewhere, now, Goggle-Head's on a mission to find his father, and restore his kingdom."
Aqua nodded and said, "Yes, I know, and it's terrible. But, now is not the time for that, Rika." Aqua then look over to the Dark Margin with a thoughtful expression on her face.
Rika nodded sadly, then she said, "Yeah, unfortunately. So, what's my trial gonna be? Einstein's trial, or whatever it was, had him fighting Terra's Lingering Will. Are you and I gonna clash now, or what?" You could almost see an excited smirk try to worm it's way onto Rika's face.
Master Aqua shook her head, then she extended her right hand out, and summoned The Master's Defender Keyblade, then she said, "No, your trial will not be against me, but…against yourself, Rika?"
Rika raised a single eyebrow in curiosity, then she asked, "What do you mean by that, Master?" Rika looked slightly confused at this prospect asked, "How can I fight against myself?"
Master Aqua turned towards where she had entered from and said, "The Dark Realm is different from the Realm of Light, Rika. As such, many things here play by different rules. Like time, for example."
Renamon raised an eyebrow and asked, "Time? What do you mean by that, Aqua?"
Said Keyblade Master looked over towards the golden kitsune, then she said, "For you, those who are in the Realm of Light, I have been gone for over ten years, but for me, it has only been, about a week, at most, maybe, three days, at least."
Rika's eyes widened at hearing that, then she asked, "For real?"
Aqua nodded, then she walked over to the Dark Margins ocean, then she said, "While in here, I have fought against many Heartless, and, at one point, myself. That is what you're going to have to do, Rika. For me to allow you to use my Keyblade, I need to know if you're strong enough, to face your greatest threat, yourself, your true self."
Before Rika could ask what she meant, Aqua motioned for Rika to come over to her, Rika, looked over at her partner, then just shrugged, as she then walked up to her master and asked, "What do you want me to do, Aqua?"
Aqua looked down at the ocean, then she said, "For you to become strong enough for the trials you will have to face, you must first face that which you have buried within yourself. So, to do that, walk on to the water, and stare at your reflection."
Rika looked at Aqua in confusion, but she simply shrugged then she walked over to the water, then she knelt down on her knees and looked down at her distorted reflection, and without breaking contact, she asked, "Well, now what?"
Just then Rika saw her own reflection shoot her hand out, trying to grab onto Rika, who jumped back with quick reaction, then she summoned her Keyblade and asked, "What the…?"
Everyone watched as something launched itself out from the water, which then landed right behind Rika, then the mysterious figure said, "Behind you, Princess."
Rika, spooked at hearing the voice, but became angered when she heard that despicable nickname, and without looking behind her, she swung her Keyblade at the being behind her, only for her eyes to widen in shock at the mirror image of her, blocking her own attack, with her very own Keyblade.
Then Rika, knowing that her shock could be used against her, she jumped back away from her copy, then she got into a defensive stance and asked, "Just who the heck are you?"
The copy chuckled darkly as she said, "I am the real you, Rika."
Rika found this humorous, then she scoffed and sarcastically said, "Tsk, yeah, right, and Terriermon's Yeggdrasil himself." Rika then glared at her copy and said, "Tell me who you really are, or else!"
The copy chuckled darkly and said, "But, Rika, I did tell you the truth. I'm you, the real you, I'm the YOU that you have buried deep in your mind, the you that used to do things her own way, and not care about those digital pets, or those losers who think making friends are important, or anybody else."
Hearing this, Rika's eyes widened in surprise, but then she glared at her copy and said, "So, what you're saying is that you are my past self, from when I was the heartless Ice Queen, back when I would just destroy Digimon without a second thought, am I right?"
The copy darkly laughed and said, "Right on the munny, Rika. Yes, I am that version of you, back when we didn't have to care about Klutz king Goggle-Idiot, weak, cowardly Einstein, the useless Dimwit Duo, or anybody else. We only cared about victory, no matter who got in our way."
Rika scoffed and in a disinterested voice, she said, "Yeah, and we were weak back then."
Then the dark Rika, who I am going to call Yami, shouted out, "WE WERE NOT WEAK!" Yami glared darkly at Rika and said, "We were strong back then! No one could defeat us! It was only when we started 'caring' about the Digimon and those pathetic bugs that we call 'friends' that made us weak!"
Rika heard the way that Yami said 'caring' and 'friends' with venom in her voice, then she rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, yeah? Well then, tell me something, actually, two things, first, even though I don't really care, but just WHAT is your name, and two, if caring about our friends made us weak, then how come I was able to get Renamon to Digivolve after admitting that I cared about her? And another question. If no one could stop us, then explain how IceDevimon caught us off guard?"
Hearing the three questions, Yami darkly chuckled at the first one, but growled at the second, and enraged at the third, then she said, "First, you can call me, Makino, if you want, but if that doesn't entertain you, then you can simply call me, Kirxa."
Rika' eyebrows raised ever so slightly, and she asked, "Kirxa? Really? Is that the best you got?" You could tell that Rika found this amusing, to say the least.
Kirxa darkly laughed and said, "No, but I do find it fitting. As for your other questions, however." Kirxa tightly gripped her Keyblade and said, "You already could Digivolve your partner, you just didn't have enough power to do so. It was only when…"
That was when Rika said, "Shut up." Kirxa look up shocked at being interrupted, then Rika said, "You are terrible at lying, moreso then Goggles."
Kirxa glared at her current self, then she said, "Believe what you want to believe, but the only reason why IceDevimon was able to get the drop on us was because we had foolishly let our guard…" Kirxa's speech was cut short when Rika simply used her Keyblade to cut her in half, turning her into nothing but shadows.
Rika looked down at where Kirxa once stood and scoffed at her copy, then scoffed and said, "Foolishly let our guard down? Like you had just done now?" Rika shook her head and said, "Pathetic. When I was told I had to fight my darkness, I was kinda expecting a sort of challenge."
That was when Kirxa's voice asked in a mocking tone, "Oh," Hearing that, Rika slightly jumped and turned around and saw Kirxa standing behind her with her Keyblade in hand. Then Kirxa said, "I'm hurt, Rika. You didn't even allow me to finish talking before you viciously attacked me. That's rude, y'know?"
Rika was shocked, then she asked, "What the…how are you still here!? I defeated you!"
Kirxa shook her head and said, "You are a fool, Rika. You can't kill me. You can't even physically hurt me. You may think that you're oh so special, but I'm more special than you." ;)
Rika was starting to get annoyed at this girl's constant talking, "Oh, and how can I not hurt you, miss oh so special?" Rika asked with her voice filled with annoyance, disinterest, and sarcasm.
Kirxa smirked and said, "You can't hurt me because, you'll only make me stronger."
Rika raised a single eyebrow and asked, "What does that even mean?" Rika shook her head and said, "You know what, forget it. I'm just gonna have to get rid of you myself." Rika then charged at Kirxa, with her Keyblade raised, but as she swung it down, Kirxa raised her own Keyblade and blocked Rika's attack.
The two girls were trying to over power the other, Rika was gritting her teeth as she tried to force her Keyblade through her copies, while Kirxa was smirking darkly the whole time. Then Kirxa said, "See? You're weak. You can't kill me, let alone defeat me. Just accept defeat now, princess."
That threw Rika into an enraged state and she kicked her dark copy in the gut to launch herself backwards, then she brought her Keyblade in front of her and created a massive ball of fire, then she yelled out, "Firaja!"
Then the large blast of fire was launched towards Kirxa, who then erupted in a large blast of fire. Rika stayed on the defensive, if she was attacked again, waiting for the fire to dissipate. Once the ground was clear, Rika didn't see Kirxa anywhere. Then she scoffed and said, "Never call me Princess, or I will erase you from existence."
That was when she was struck from behind by a Blizzaga attack, sending her flying forward. But Rika reacted quickly, and as she was falling, she quickly placed both of her hands on the dark sand, and pushed herself up, and landed back on her feat, facing her attacker, Rika just growled and asked, "How many times am I going to have to defeat you before you just stay defeated?"
Kirxa simply laughed, "Ah ha ha ha ha! Like you could ever defeat me!" Kirxa rested her Keyblade on her right shoulder, then she said, "You see, even if you defeat me, I'll just keep coming back stronger. You can't win!"
***Meanwhile with Renamon and Aqua***
Renamon watched on in concern as her Tamer and just as she was about to jump in to save her partner, Aqua gently put her hand on the foxes shoulder, who looked at her in worry, then Rena said, "I have have to help her!"
But Aqua shook her head sadly and said, "No, she can only help herself, we can't interfere."
Renamon was confused about this, and her worry about her partner wasn't helping, she turned to Aqua then asked, "But, why? Why can't I help?"
Aqua looked at the two girls fighting, then she said, "What Rika is fighting is more then just her past self, it's her very darkness giving form. Darkness that she has buried within her for years, fueled by her anger, and doubts. All of her dark emotions that she has buried within herself. As of right now, we can't interfere. Rika has to overcome this, on her own."
Renamon then asked, "But, why? What's the point of this? I thought this was just a test to see if Rika was worthy of inheriting your Keyblade?"
Aqua looked at the golden kitsune and sighed, then she said, "This is more then a test to see if Rika is ready to inherit my Keyblade, it's her test to see if she is ready to become a Master."
Renamon looked confused at this, and she asked, "A master? What do you mean?"
Aqua looked back at the two Rika's and said, "For one to be given the title of Keyblade Master, they must take a Mark Of Mastery Exam to see if they are ready to do so. Each exam is different depending on what the examiners Master decides."
Aqua then took out her blue Wayfinder and said, "My master simply had me and Terra to fight balls of light, but I have come to realize that it seemed like a strange exam, so for Rika, I have decided to test my masters beliefs. He believed that all darkness must be destroyed in order to bring order to the worlds. So I decided to see if darkness can really be destroyed."
Renamon's eyes widened is realization of what this test really is, "This test, it is meant to see if someone can actually destroy darkness itself, by starting with destroying their own darkness!"
Aqua nodded and said, "Yes. My master, as wise and powerful as he was, believed that all darkness must be destroyed, and he passed those beliefs on to us. But it was because of that belief that Terra began his decent into darkness, by being tricked by Xehanort. Now, I am testing my masters very beliefs, by testing Rika."
Renamon stared silently at her partner as she continued to clash Keyblade against Keyblade against her dark copy.
***With Rika***
Rika was getting furious, it seemed that no matter what she did, or how she destroyed her dark counterpart, Kirxa always came back fully refreshed and not having a single scratch on her. Rika pointed her Keyblade in front of her and shouted, "Just go away already! Ragnarok!" Rika's Keyblade then began glowing, then ten balls of light were fired from her Keyblade, each one struck at her copy, stunning her, then Rika yelled out, "Sonic Blade!"
Then Rika charged at Kirxa five times, with the fifth cutting right through her dark copy, sending her back into the darkness, leaving Rika all alone yet again, but breathing very heavily. 'Man, what's with this freak? No matter how many times I destroy her, she just comes back shortly afterwards.'
Then she heard a dark chuckle, she quickly turned around and saw that Kirxa was once again back, with a smug look on her face, then she shoved her Keyblade into the sand and said, "Admit it, Princess, you're not strong enough to defeat me. Just accept your fate in falling into the shadows, and let me be the real Rika, and then I can just erase your friends and get on with my life."
Rika was barely standing, but she didn't quit, she slowly raised her Keyblade in front of her and said, "There's…no way…I'm…quitting…now you…freak. Just…leave…already."
Kirxa smirked viciously and said, "Yeah, like you can make me, Princess. You're barely standing now. I doubt that you could get rid of me now." Kirxa then raised her Keyblade up and everyone watched as dark purple fire began to engulf the Keyblade, then Kirxa said, "Later, Princess. Dark Firaja!" Then a massive blast of Dark fire was launched right at Rika.
Rika watched in slow motion as the dark fire ball came rushing at her, then she rested her head on the sand and thought, 'Ugh, it's no use. No matter how many times I attack this imposter, she keeps on returning. And no mater how many Curaga's I use, or Elixirs I drink, I can't beat her. Heh, I guess Aqua was right, my greatest challenge was myself.'
Rika watched at the dark ball got closer and closer to her as she thought, 'Renamon, I'll miss you, old friend, Goggle-Dork, it was nice knowing you, shame I couldn't be there to see you kingdom rise to greatness, only to fall to your own foolishness. Einstein, I guess Terriermon won't be deleted anytime soon, so, you get a pass, Jeri, I hope Leomon returns.'
Rika was continuing saying her goodbyes when she heard a young voice say, "Is this really what you've come to, Rika Nonika?"
Rika's eyes widened as she found herself on her Station Of Awakening. She looked around and said, "Wonderful, I'm here again."
Then Rika heard that voice again, "Yes, you are, Rika Nonika."
Rika turned around quickly towards the direction of where the voice came from and saw a younger version of herself, with her hair untied and resting against her back, wearing a light blue shortsleeved shirt, and tan shorts and blue sneakers. Rika raised an eyebrow, already recognising her younger self, then she asked, "Seriously? Did I really get his that hard that now I'm seeing my younger self?"
The younger Rika, Ruki, chuckled and said, "No, I am very real, Rika, but just call me, Ruki."
Rika seemed to get the feeling that Ruki is more then what she appeared, then she asked, "So, what are you? My more innocent self, back before I became the cold hearted Ice Queen, or what?"
Ruki shook her head and said, "I am just another version of yourself that you keep buried beneath your cold shell. True I am not that lost in the darkness, but you have kept me buried deep within yourself."
Rika rolled her eyes and asked, "Yeah, that's nice and all, but what does that have to do with anything?"
Ruki scoffed and said, "It seems that you have grown impatient, Rika, and you have let your confidence in your own power, go to your head."
Rika lightly glared at Ruki and said, "Hey, you do know that you're insulting yourself, right, munchkin? Now why don't you stop telling me what s wrong with me, and start telling me how to defeat that dark copy of myself?"
Ruki stared at her older self and said, "I'm surprised that you haven't figured it out for yourself, Rika." Rika simply gave Ruki a questioning look, then Ruki sighed and said, "Then again, I doubt that you would have figured it out on your own."
Rika was about to retort when Ruki said, "You defeat her, by not fighting her, Rika."
Rika looked down at Ruki in surprise, then she asked, "How the HECK can I defeat someone by not fighting them!? That makes ZERO sense!"
Ruki then said, "Because, every time that you defeat Kirxa, she just keeps coming back fully recovered. You continuing to fight her is making her stronger."
"What?" Asked a confused Rika.
Ruki sat down then she said, "You fighting her is making her stronger Rika. Kirxa is your darkness, and she feeds on you anger and rage. The more angry and frustrated that you get at her, the stronger that she becomes. You can't keep fighting fire with fire forever, Rika. Sometimes the best way to defeat your opponent, is to simply accept who they are."
Rika was quickly starting to put the pieces together as she said, "So, the only way for me to defeat Kirxa, is to accept that she is a part of me?"
Ruki nodded and said, "Not only her, Rika, but me as well." Rika looked down at her younger self, truth be told, she really missed the olden days where she was a happy go lucky girl without a care in the world, then her father left her and her mother, and she stopped being the gentle girl that she was, hence why she hated being called Ruki.
After her father left, she started calling herself Rika, in order to distance herself away from her young naïve self. Rika sighed then she asked, "If I do do this, what'll happen to me?"
Ruki stood up and said, "Nothing, only that you'll be complete. You won't just be light, nor darkness, you will become a balance of both. And in the end, you shall achieve harmony within yourself. So, whatchya say?" Ruki then extended out her hand expectantly.
Rika looked down at her Station Of Awakening, and saw Takato, Henry, and everyone else, then she looked back at the old days, days that she knew would never be the same again, then she looked at Ruki.
Rika then lightly chuckled as she closed her eyes, then she stood up and said, "I hope you're right, munchkin, because if not, well, our friends will have to fight against a version of me who has no problem erasing them." Rika then grabbed Ruki's hand and said, "Time to show that dark freak who Rika Nonika really is!"
Ruki smirked and said, "Let's do this!" Then the world around the two girls was engulfed by a bright light and soon, the two vanished.
***Back with Kirxa***
Kirxa watched as her Dark Firaja approached the unconscious Rika then she said, "Figures, always knew Princess wasn't strong enough, told her that friends are useless."
But then, everyone watched as Rika's eyes shot open, just as the Dark Firaja struck her, then created a massive explosion that everyone but Kirxa had to cover their eyes for, and Renamon yelled out "RIKA!"
It was silent for a while, and the smoke wasn't leaving, and Renamon lowered her head in despair at the loss of her friend. Then Renamon heard a voice say, "Sheesh, Renamon, relax, I'm not done yet."
Everyone looked up to where the Dark Firaja had struck and everyone watched as the smoke finally cleared to show that Rika had managed to bring up a Reflect Spell just in time.
Kirxa growled in annoyance and said, "Impossible! You should have been erased! How!?"
Rika smirked and said, "Quite simple, really, That attack wasn't even worth worrying about. I managed to throw up a reflect spell quick enough to stop your attacks in its track. But that's not all…" Rika then reached for her cloak and unbuttoned it from her shirt, then she grabbed it and threw it behind her, then she said, "I also know how to defeat you, once and for all."
Kirxa growled at this, then she said, "You're bluffing! You couldn't handle me before! How could you do so now!?"
Rika made a 'comehither' motion towards Kirxa, who growled in anger, then she charged forward, Keyblade in hand, ready to attack Rika. But just as Kirxa was about to strike at Rika, Rika embraced her dark counterpart in a hug, then she said, "I don't like to admit it, but I know that I could never be able to defeat you, no matter how hard I tried. So, the only way for me to defeat myself, is to not fight."
Kirxa had tears in her eyes, then she said, "So, that's it huh? You figure out how to defeat me and it's back to the shadows I go, huh? Just like that, I'm forgotten yet again?"
Rika scoffed and said, "Don't be a baby about it. Our Keyblade is called the Force Of Balance, is it not? Balance can only be achieved if light and darkness work as one."
Kirxa's eyes widened at that, and she asked, "You, you mean that, you're not getting rid of me?"
Rika lightly glared and said, "Sister, Goggle-Head is the vessel of the Digital Hazard, the most dark and dangerous thing in existence, yet he has become friends with him, why can't we coexist as well?"
Then another voice asked, "Not just light, and not just darkness. But a balance of the two."
Kirxa looked over and saw Ruki standing next to Rika, then Rika said, "So, how about it? Shall we stop all this light vs. darkness crud and just work together? Because I would like to get back to my friends sometime today."
Kirxa closed her eyes and shook her head, then she stood up straight and said, "Fine, I'll work with you, but I am not going to be sleeping in a cell if that is where this is going."
Rika scoffed and said, "Just as long as you don't try to make me into an Emo, you'll be fine."
Kirxa lightly chuckled, then she put her hand out, which Rika then placed her hand on top of it, then the two taller girls knelt down and let Ruki placed her hand on top of her two older selves, and Aqua and Renamon watched as the three girls were encased in a bright light, once the light died down, only Rika was left on the beach, she turned to Aqua and smiled, while giving a light nod to her master.
Aqua and Renamon then ran over to Rika, and Aqua said, "I can't believe it. You actually did it, Rika! I'm proud of you."
Rika put her fists together and respectfully bowed and said, "Thank you, Master. But it wasn't easy, I'll tell you that."
Aqua lightly smiled, then she said, "Rika, I am proud to say that, you have passed your test."
Rika was surprised and she said, "Really? Heh, okay then. So, does that mean that I can now inherit your Keyblade, now, Master?"
Aqua held out her hand, and soon, Stormfall was now in her hands, then she said, "It is with great pleaser that I, Master Aqua, now pronounce my student, Rika Nonika, as, not only worthy to inherit my Keyblade, but also be recognised as a fellow Keyblade Master." Aqua then placed Stormfall into Rika's hands.
Rika accepted it and raised it over her head, then she said, "Thanks Master I…Wait! What?" Rika looked at her master in shock as she asked, "Did you just say that I am now a Keyblade Master?"
Aqua nodded and said, "Yes, your test was more then just to see if you were read to inherit my Keyblade, but to also see if you were ready to become a true Keyblade Master."
Rika was speechless, then she said, "I don't know what to say, Master, but, thank you." Rika bowed again in gratitude.
Then Aqua bowed in return, then she said, "I should be thanking you. For showing me that the Realm of Light still had powerful Keyblade wielders protecting the worlds."
Rika nodded, then she asked, "So, how do we get back to our friends, Aqua?"
Aqua pointed to Rika's Wayfinder and said, "If you focus on the connection between you and your friends who have Wayfinders, then you will be able to make a connection and open a portal back to the realm of light."
Rika nodded, then she grabbed her Wayfinder and closed her eyes focusing on her connection between her, and her friends, then her Wayfinder began glowing and then Rika opened her eyes just in time to watch as her Wayfinder created a portal back in the Chamber Of Repose. Rika turned to Aqua and said, "Come with us!"
Aqua sadly shook her head, then she said, "No, not yet."
Rika was confused and she asked, "What? But, why not?"
Aqua looked over to the dark waters and said, "I am still needed her for a little bit longer, Rika. For others who lose their way in the Dark Realm, and be their Wayfinders. But don't worry, one day, I will leave here, and who knows, it might be sooner than you think."
Rika wanted to argue with her master, but, for some reason, she knew that Aqua would be safe, so she simply nodded and said, "Take care, Master."
Aqua nodded and said, "And the same to you, Rika. Stay safe, and look out for your friends."
Rika nodded, then she turned to Renamon and asked, "Ready?"
Renamon nodded, then the two partners ran off into the portal, leaving Aqua lightly smiling at their departure, then she said, "You do the same, Rika." Aqua then walked over to a rock and she said, "You knew all long, haven't you?"
Then a figure walked up to Aqua and said, "Of course I did. I lived it, Master."
Aqua looked up and said, "Thank you for being here with me, Rika." Aqua stared up at Rika, but not the Rika that was just here, but the Rika that has been with her since she got to the Dark Realm, Rika simply nodded silently, and Master and Student just watched the dark waves rock back and forth, but why is Rika here when she just left? Well, that is another story, for another time.
Thechaosmaster: And here is the next chapter of this story. This one was really hard to write, I knew what I wanted to do, but not how to do it. I hope you readers enjoyed it.
Red: And for those who are wondering, yes, that Rika is one that has been through BBS, but we won't focus on her until we get there.
Chaos: Yeah, trust me, I have many plans and ideas for what I want to do, the plans are not solid as of yet, but I have some idea of what to do. Also, I actually played through a Fragmentary Passage in order to get an idea for this chapter, and, well, yeah. Also, have you noticed the trend with these trials, Henry had to over come someone who was physically stronger then him, and Rika had to overcome her own spiritrual selves. Takato, Rika, and Henry's trials are based on mind body, and soul. Tell us what you think in the reviews.
Red: Yeah, we love reading your reviews, it gives us strength. Well, later!
