Tak was still in her disguise when she left the Skool in Eli's car. She still couldn't believe she had to rely on human transportation, but she didn't have much of a choice now that her ship was in the hands of an enemy and most of her other tech couldn't be repaired or accessed without it. Not to mention her base at Deelishus Weenie was destroyed by Dib. She glared over at the driver, a lowly human she had brainwashed into serving her. "When we get back, we take him to the detainment room then you help me in the broadcast room."
The tall bald man wearing a leather jacket, pants, and boots just nodded, "Yes Tak, I obey."
Tak shrugged as she looked out the window, "Stupid human."
In the trunk of the car laid Lincoln in a large nondescript bag. Still stuck in place with a blue beam surrounding him.
REVENGE OF THE HIDEOUS NEW GIRL PART 1
Gaz was sitting alone on the living room couch playing with her GS4 with the TV on, trying to distract herself.
"It is official folks: ten out of nine video game experts who have never played a single video game before say that video games cause violence."
"Hey Gaz." Lucy greeted, having suddenly shown up on the other end of the couch.
"Aah!" Gaz jumped a bit in her seat, "Where did you come from?"
"Your brother let me in, but more importantly I don't see Lincoln with you."
"What am I, his keeper?"
"No, but he isn't home and he hasn't texted any of us. I thought he was with you."
Gaz gritted her teeth, "Look, the last I saw him was at skool. He got detention for sleeping in class like an idiot."
"That doesn't sound like him, then again he didn't come home last night."
"That's because he was here."
"...doing what?"
"None of your business!"
"...I take it something didn't go well."
"Do you ever shut up?"
Just then, the front door flung open with Lisa walking in.
"You again?" Gaz asked, irritated, "How did you get past the electric fence?"
Lisa adjusted her glasses, "I simply deactivated it. I need to speak to your brother."
Gaz groaned, "Go upstairs, end of the hall. And if you bother me again, I'm activating my flesh-eating robots."
"Riveting." Lisa made her way upstairs.
"Hey, take your creepy sister too."
But Lucy was already gone, Gaz looked around to find herself alone. She shrugged and went back to her GS4.
After going upstairs, the little genius made her way to the end of the hall to a door adorned with posters of aliens and sasquatches. Lisa opened it to find Dib at his computer and Lynn absentmindedly lifting a barbell. Lisa quickly moved to the middle of the room, "Can I have your attention?"
"Oh, hey Lisa." Dib greeted.
"What are you doing here?" Lynn asked mid-lift.
"I need your help, Dib. Lincoln has been abducted." Lisa stated.
Lynn dropped the barbell onto her chest which landed with a THUD.
Dib jumped out of his seat, "Oh no! By Zim?"
Lisa shook her head, "I am not sure who it was, but it wasn't our alien neighbor, he seems busy harassing my sister Lola at the moment."
Lynn lifted the barbell off her chest, groaning a bit, "The heck would that idiot want with dumb old Stinkon anyway?"
"Still, this is bad." Lucy commented, walking out of the shadows.
The sudden appearance spooked Lynn into dropping the barbell onto her chest again, landing with another THUD.
That's what she gets for being unbearable in recent episodes.
"Indeed. I require your assistance Dib, the spy cameras you set up around the school must have caught something."
"You know about those? Well, I got the recordings from today saved on my tablet..." Dib dug out his tablet from his jacket and handed it to Lisa.
Lynn finally managed to get the barbell off and walked over. The four kids hovered around the tablet as Lisa went through the different camera recordings.
"There's Stinkon!" Lynn pointed at one still image showing Lincoln among a bunch of other kids going into Mr. Elliot's classroom.
"Okay, now to just fast forward..." Lisa sped through the recording until it showed children leaving the classroom.
"...Lincoln isn't with them." Lucy pointed out.
"This is right around when his tracking device ceased to function. Something must have happened in the classroom to cause that."
"Tracking device? You didn't put any of those on us, did you?" Lucy asked.
"Don't ask such inane questions."
"Is she always like this?" Dib asked Lynn in a hushed voice.
Lynn shrugged, "I hardly know her."
"Male sibling is leaving the classroom!" Lisa announced.
The four kids watched the footage of Lincoln exiting the classroom. He turned to head one direction, then turned around. He said something to someone out of frame.
"Who's Stinkon talking to?" Lynn asked.
Lisa paused the footage and tried switching to a different camera. Unfortunately, she couldn't find one that let them see whoever or whatever Lincoln was talking to.
"That...that's not good. They know where my cameras are." Dib stammered.
"Hide them better next time and set up a scrambler so they can't be detected." Lisa lectured.
Just then, Lincoln turned around and was then zapped with some sort of laser.
"Whoa!" Lynn expressed.
"Lincoln!" Lucy called out.
"Could you idiots stop yelling?" Gaz asked, walking into the room. "I can't hear the TV!"
"Gaz, their brother just got abducted by someone with a laser!" Dib explained.
"Sure, of course he did."
"Look!" Dib showed her the footage of Lincoln getting zapped and then being taken away.
Gaz didn't bother looking, "Just keep it down, I don't want to hear any more of your crazy stuff today." She turned around and left the room.
"Is she always like that?" Lynn asked out loud.
Gaz walked back into the room, lifted Lynn up, and threw her out the window. There was a huge crash outside. The scary girl turned herself around again and left.
The three remaining kids were mainly stunned by the act, but Dib managed to snap out of his shock and went to the window, poking his head out, "Are you seriously injured?" He asked, finding Lynn feet first in the ground with her top half out.
"No! Not unless you count my pride!"
...
Meanwhile at the aptly named Abandoned Warehouse Four, Lincoln was brought to a small room and emptied out of the bag onto the floor. The blue beam had since vanished, but Lincoln's body was numb from being in the same position for a long time making it difficult to move. He coughed a bit, "Wha- where am I? What's going on?"
"What's going on is that you're gonna help me get my ship back!" Lincoln looked up to see Tak who was still in her human disguise, grinning at him.
"...who are you again?"
Tak groaned, "I'm Tak, surely you've heard of me."
Lincoln tried to remember, "Eh...not really?"
"No? Gaz didn't tell you about me?"
"No...wait, I think I heard the name Tak somewhere..."
"But it wasn't from Gaz? Was it the Dib human?"
"No, I hardly talk to him."
"...this is embarrassing. Bah, you don't need to know anyway! Just sit tight here and I won't have you disemboweled." Tak turned around and exited the room, she pointed at a big hobo with a bagged cob of corn who stood outside the room, "You! Make sure he doesn't leave!"
"Okay." The hobo took a few steps and blocked the doorway.
Lincoln pulled himself up off the floor, then he approached the large man, "Uh, excuse me sir, but don't you think this is all wrong? I shouldn't be here."
The hobo shrugged, "Yeah, you shouldn't but I can't go against what the angry girl says."
Lincoln pulled out his cell phone to see that there was no signal, "Okay, so calling the cops is out of the question, or anyone else for that matter."
"Yeah, that Tak girl built some kind of jammer device." The hobo looked Lincoln over, "Oh, hey, you got some Demi-Devil tattoos!"
"Huh?"
"Those tattoos over your face and arms."
Lincoln looked at his arms and his memory came back, "Oh, is that what these are called? Wait, you can see them?"
"Oh yeah, I knew a guy who had them. Got them after eating some weird fruit that gave him spooky powers."
"Like what?"
"Eh, I don't know, some really weird spooky stuff! It made me become a hobo!"
"...how?"
"It did!"
Lincoln sighed, he looked at the line tattoo that went up and down his arm. Looking closer, he could swear he saw the word "Hypnosis" appear inside the line.
...
In the Membrane's backyard, Dib and Lucy were gazing into a crystal ball while Lisa tried using a drone with a skill crane attachment to pull Lynn out of the ground. The closest she got so far was tugging a bit on Lynn's ponytail.
"See anything yet?" Dib asked.
Lucy shook her head, "No. Then again, I mainly find the departed with this."
"Hey guys, what's going on?" Lana walked up to the group, dogleashes in hand.
"We're trying to track your brother..." Dib's eyes went to the dogs Lana was leading, spotting that chihuahua he kept seeing around town, "...did you get a new dog?"
Lana nodded, "Oh yeah! Let me introduce ya! Come here, Jhonen!"
The chihuahua approached, Charles walked up next to him. Both gave a friendly bark.
"Can your dogs track scents? Maybe we can find Lincoln that way." Dib suggested.
Lana shook her head, "Uh, you gotta train dogs for years before they could do that."
"Oh...yeah, now that I think about it-"
"But I bet I can track Lincoln!"
"You?"
"Yeah! But I need a strong enough scent and Lori already did the laundry."
"Of course!" Lisa yelled out, not paying attention to the drone that fell on top of Lynn, "I forgot all about Lana's bloodhound-like nose!"
"I think I got a bloody nose, or this stupid thing is grabbing it." Lynn complained.
Lisa grabbed the controls again and had the drone pick Lynn up out of the ground and release her, "Apologies, you've gone through enough this afternoon."
"We still need a scent if you're going to have Lana track him." Lucy reminded.
"Fret not, I have just the thing." Lisa pulled out a corked vial that had "Lincoln" written on it.
Dib eyed the vial suspiciously, "What is that?"
"It's Lincoln's scent." Lisa flatly answered.
"And you just, you just got it in a bottle?"
"Yes." Lisa handed the vial over to Lana.
"It's better to just accept it and not think about it." Lynn told Dib.
Lana uncorked the vial and sniffed the contents a bit. Soon after she got on all fours and started rushing down the sidewalk. She had left the open vial and leashes behind.
Lisa took out her tracking radar, "Now we just need to follow Lana and she should lead us right to Lincoln!"
"So you did put tracking devices on the rest of us." Lucy remarked.
...
"Okay, tell me how I leave again." a bright blue light flashed across Lincoln's eyes.
"Yeah, you-you just gotta walk down the hallway, take a left. Do not turn right, that's where the broadcast room is. Then well uh, just get past some of the other guards."
Lincoln tapped his chin, "Hey, can't you just go take care of those guards for me? Just like, get them to move?" another bright blue light flashed across Lincoln's eyes.
"Sure, no problem!" the hobo left the room and headed down the hallway where he took a left. Then a bunch of yelling and screaming sounded through the hall.
"YOU IDIOTS BETTER STOP! WE'RE ABOUT TO MAKE CONTACT!" yelled Tak.
"That's my cue to go." Lincoln rushed out and headed down the left hallway.
Down the right hallway in the broadcast room, Tak was sitting in front of a camera. She moved around a bit to get the best angle. She struck a defiant pose and said, "Okay, begin the broadcast!"
...
The TV in front of Gaz went to static a moment before showing Tak on screen.
"Greetings Gaz! It is I, Tak and-"
Gaz quickly changed the channel. After a few moments, there was more static and Tak came back.
"How dare you cut me off! Now listen, I-"
Gaz changed the channel again, gritting her teeth in annoyance. More static, and Tak was back.
"Listen you! I've been planning this for a long time and-"
"I don't care!" Gaz threw the remote at the TV and the remote embedding itself into the screen. After it got past the screen, it struck a few of the power cables, causing a small explosion which resulted in some bright lights and the TV being destroyed.
...
"Such insolence! She changed the channel again?" Tak asked, fuming with anger.
Eli checked the broadcasting equipment "Uh, no Tak. She seems to have cut connection completely."
"How? Oh whatever, go get the captive, maybe they know how to get in touch with her without being interrupted."
"Yes Tak, I obey." The tall bald man exited the room while Tak grumbled to herself.
"When Gaz sees that I have her little friend, she'll have to force that Dib thing to give me my ship back. Then I can access the equipment necessary to blow up this forsaken rock of a planet."
A few moments later, the tall man walked back in alone.
"...Eli, where is the captive?"
"He's gone."
"What?"
"He's gone, he left the warehouse. Somehow he hypnotized the guards."
Tak was still for a few moments. She grit her teeth and began shaking, but soon stood still and let out a sigh. "You know what? Bollocks to being subtle. Time to do things the stupid way." The irritated Irken took out a remote control and pushed a button, causing the entire warehouse to shake.
The ground floor of the warehouse opened up and an underground platform started rising with a giant robot made out of junk and electronics that had been thrown out all over the city. It had eyes that glowed red. The platform kept rising and the giant robot broke through the roof of the warehouse. The giantic junk robot then started walking through what was left of the warehouse leaving Tak and her mindless guards alone in the ruins. It started to walk in towards the main street.
"There. The robot is going to the Membrane house and DESTROY THOSE RUDE HUMANS!"
"Uh...okay, so what do we do, Tak?"
Tak held her arms in the air, "I DON'T KNOW! DO WHATEVER YOU STUPID HUMANS WANT! THERE'S NO POINT IN BEING ALL SNEAKY ANYMORE!" with that, she stomped away.
This left the mindless guards on their own who all tried to think of what they should do next.
"...you guys wanna go see a movie?" Eli asked.
The others grumbled a bit they all headed off into the city towards the movie theater.
