Magnus woke up, but he knew he was still in a dream. For a moment, anyway. All he'd dreamt about before were demons. But now, Alec was laying next to him saying, "It's okay, Magnus, it's okay."
"Alexander," Magnus whispered. "You're here."
"Yes," Alec said, "and I need you."
Magnus knew what he meant. And being here, being so close to Alexander-he needed him now.

"I know. I need you too. I've needed you for so long."

Magnus slowly peeled off Alec's shirt, kissing down his chest, holding Alec by his hips. Some part of him knew it was a dream, but the other part of him wanted to enjoy this, enjoy their intimacy. Because, honestly, in the real world, they weren't getting any of that. But what Magnus mostly enjoyed about the dream was that Alec looked so happy. He was smiling and laughing, and Magnus hardly ever had seen him this happy in real life.

"Magnus," Alec said in a low voice. He grabbed Magnus's shoulders, pushing him into the mattress. Alec ripped his shirt off, then threw the tattered remains all the way across the room. Magnus felt his hear rate quicken as Alec's hands began to pull the rest of his clothes off. They were getting too tight, anyway.

"I love you so much, Alexander," Magnus whispered.

"I love you, too," Alec responded, leaning down to take Magnus inside his mouth.

Oh, God, Magnus thought, Wow, he is good at this. Ooh-that feels so good.

Alec hesitantly took his mouth off Magnus, staring deep into Magnus's eyes. "You liked that?" he asked.

"I loved that," Magnus said. "You're . . . you're so good at that. How'd you get so good at that?"

"I dunno," Alec said, shrugging. "But would you like to do more?"

Alec slid all of his clothes off, and smiled evilly.

Magnus woke up in a cold sweat. All he could see in his head was Alec's beautiful body, but just from the waist up. Why, why, did he have to wake up right when the dream was getting good? He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. The bigger question was where was he and when had he fallen asleep?

He sat up. Magnus was sitting on a cot, in the corner of the warehouse he'd been before. Wait-now he remembered what had happened before. There'd been that magic bomb, which was strange. And then he'd blacked out, dreaming of demons chasing him. And then he was here, in a possibly dirty cot.

"Damn it," he said. "And to think, I was going to have sex with Alec in that dream."

Alec woke up still in his gear, a bottle of something in his hand. All of last night was blur, especially since he'd gone to that bar. What had he been drinking? Oh, wait, he didn't know what it was.

"Magnus," he whispered. "Oh, by the Angel, I miss you. I miss Magnus."

"Alec?" a voice that sounded like Jace's said. "Can I come in?"

"Go ahead," Alec said. "I don't care."

"Alec," Jace pointed out, "you have to stop wallowing in your own sadness every time you lose Magnus. Er, someone important to you. That could include me. But, anyway, you have to find a way to live."

"But-"

"Alec, you have to find him. And that's the way you get out of this."

"That'd be nice," Alec said. "And I just realized: Magnus's cat hasn't been fed since I got him back."

"You should feed him," Jace suggested. "What's his name again?"

"Chairman Meow," Alec said, getting up and grabbing the cat and some food. "He's really cute. I guess I should be taking care of him. And then I have to go back and rescue Magnus or at least figure out what happened to him. You know that feeling when you met Clary for the first time?"

"Yeah."

"That's what it was with Magnus. I knew he was the one once I laid eyes on him. And I have to fight to get him back. His father is a jerk, and I also really want to have sex with him." Somehow, while he was doing all that, he managed to fed Chairman Meow and go back to laying on the bed.

The cat saw that he was unhappy, and began to nuzzle his shoulder. Alec smiled for a split-second and began to pet Chairman Meow, enjoying for a second that a cat loved him, and maybe he could get Magnus back. Maybe.

Magnus didn't know why he'd fallen asleep. It must have been his father. So, find his father, stab him, and get the hell out of there.

"Enjoying the place?" a voice said over to the right of him. Magnus turned his head, and looked into the eyes of his father.

"Hello, Father," Magnus said in an emotionless voice. "So we meet again."

"I saw you literally twenty hours ago," Asmodeus pointed out.

"Twenty hours?!" Magnus asked. "Also, I don't care. I just want out of here. I want to be back with Alec."

"I told you-loving him with only end in misery."

"No, it won't!" Magnus insisted. "I've been having those dreams about Alec. I've been dreaming of having sex with him, actually making love to him. And you have to go along and ruin it."

"He's a Shadowhunter! He's supposed to hate you warlocks. And he will break your heart once he has sex with you. You know that as good as anyone."

"But he told me he loves me. And he looks me in the eye and isn't lying. You're the one breaking my heart." Magnus stared right into his father's eyes, and wasn't going to back down until he got his way.

"Well, let me show you around," Asmodeus said. "Maybe if you see the place we're at, you'll understand."
