(Back to Marco and Shayna)

After curing the inmates of their curse, Marco and his team escorted the royal family and Heckapoo through one of the hidden passageways underneath the castle. "We should be outside soon if we keep going." Marco said as he held up a map of the underground tunnels.

"I knew recruiting Mina was gonna bite us in the ass, I just knew it." Eclispa sneered as she clenched her wand.

"Honestly I never trusted her to begin with," Heckapoo added, thinking back to when she and the high commission conspired against Eclipsa and the new Mewni with Mina at the forefront.

"You Magic High Bitches don't talk about trust!" Eclipsa remarked as they continued walking, making the commission members feel guilty for their actions.

Janna then clasped her hands together to ease the tension, "Um Okay, so now we have a washed-up warrior from a bygone age with powerful magic and an evil lizard man whom have taken over the most powerful kingdom of Mewni. Anyone got any ideas on how we can fix this shit?" she asked.

"I don't know, we barely survived Mina's last attack, but now that she has one of the strongest and most vile monsters by her side." Moon looked down, "I have no idea how we can win this war."

"We should probably regroup with Star and Mariposa," Marco suggested as he guided the party through the tunnels "our first objective is to find Meteora."

"But where can she be?" Shayna questioned, "This universe is enormous, and we don't have a lot of time to search every square inch of this place."

"I'm not sure, by the way Janna I just realized weren't you supposed to be with them after we came to Mewni?" he turned to his childhood tormentor.

She blinked till she remembered "Oh, I was wondering when you'd bring that up." she sighed, "But anyway after walking through the ashy remains of the forest" the commission and queens grumbled at the mention of Mina's heinous action, "we ran into Ludo and his family. They were taking in monsters that have lost their homes, after that Star went off to look for Meteora and I guess you're br-sister went with Star while I wasn't looking."

"Wait, she would've left my sister in your hands?" Marco raised an eyebrow.

Janna rolled her eyes, "You make it sound like i'm a bad influence."

"Janna!" Marco exclaimed.

"Anyway, after all that I ran into Tom, who was very close to death." she wrapped an arm around her fiancé. "And now I'm here."

Marco sighed, "I'll just call her." he pulled out his phone and dialed Star's number. "Star-"

"Marco! Oh my god I'm so happy to hear your voice again! Anyway meet me and Mari at the abandoned monster castle, I don't know how but it might lead us to Meteora." Star interrupted as she sounded relieved on the other line.

Marco's eyes widen by a small margin, "Are you sure?"

"Just trust me okay."

"Well, if you say so. Love you."

"Love you more."

"Doubtful." Marco then hung up the call, he turned to the group "So we're heading to the old monster castle, apparently it has something to do with Meteora's disappearance."

Eclipsa grabbed him by the shoulder, "Is my daughter alright? Please tell me she's alright!" she demanded as she shook him violently.

"Let's. hope. So." He said between shakes, she then drops him and took the lead.

"Come people, we're burning daylight here!" she ordered.

"I swear if they hurt my little girl I will rip their head off." Globgore swore as he cracked his knuckles.

"Globby, you can't do that, because I 've been working on a new curse just for this occasion." Eclipsa said with an almost evil sounding chuckle.

"Eclipsa!" Moon exasperated.

"What? I got to have some fun in my free time." Eclipsa teased.

"Well, I would like to rush to my daughter so…" Globgor then grabbed everyone and rushed out the secret passage.

-Meanwhile-

Speaking of Meteora, she and Azrael were still wandering ever so thickly spread fog for what felt like hours trying to find this place she could bathe. Yet they haven't found anything except 1) fog, and 2) even more fog. "Azrael are you sure you know where you're going?" she complained as her feet were killing her form all the walking.

"We should be there soon." he told her.

"Do you even know where you're going?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Because we've past this here stump 10 times." Meteora stopped and gestured to a tree stump.

Azrael saw this and went, "Huh."

"Azraeeeeeeeel." she growled.

"Well it be easier if this fog isn't so thick." Azrael replied.

"Just admit it, we're lost!" Meteora exclaimed.

"Very lost." he noddingly admitted.

She groaned with a facepalm, "Great, as if I didn't have enough problems to deal with."

"Look if we keep walking I'm sure that-"

"I don't care about the bath anymore, I just want to get the heck out of this STUPID FOG!" she angrily swiped at puffs of fog, Azrael held onto her so she doesn't explode.

"Meteora calm your still to be developed tits."

She snapped her head to face him, "Oh yeah, then what's your next plan Mr. Smarty Lizard?"

Metorea was now sitting on the stump as Azrael was digging a hole in the ground trying to find a way to escape, "This is your plan?"

"Well its better than nothing!" his voice rang from the hole.

He kept on digging as Meteora counted down the seconds, which turned into minutes, which turned into hours. In that time she removed her dress and draped it on the side of the stump, it was getting kind of uncomfortable in its now tattered state after turning into her monster form. It kept hanging off her shoulders by a thread, at least this should at least leave some kind of sign that she was here.

She looked down the hole after what felt like an eternity "Azrael maybe you should take a break, you're going to exhaust yourself."

"Not likely toots, but this is getting us nowhere." He said as he climbed out of the hole, drenched in sweat. He shook the dirt out of his hair, seeing him like this made her drool a little. He nearly nosebleed after he saw the state she was in. "Uhhh… Why are you?" he pointed to her while looking away with a blush.

She shook her head out of her stupor and blushed as she crossed her arms, her body only wearing a small pair of underwear "My dress got too ripped after my transformation, besides all you have is that loincloth." she gestured to the only piece of clothing he had.

Azrael, who stoic demeanor was fading fairly quick. "I think I have an idea though." She said as she got up. "As you told me before this fog covers the entire dimension right?"

"Yeah." He said as he slowly faced her near naked form.

"But the local creatures around were easy to hunt, plus that 'house' had to have be built, and I feel like your parents are more destroyers than builders. So I figure that there must have been settlers, plus I came here from the Realm of Magic and through a portal, so we need to find that."

"And how are we supposed to do that in this thick as hell fog?" Azrael questioned as he gestured all around them, "It would take forever to find a portal here."

Meteora then pulled out a road flare that was kept in her pocket, "Got this off of this girl I know." she then lit the fuse, the sparks then traveled into the fog.

"So how exactly does this help?" Azeal asked, Metorea then faced another direction. The Embers soon went a different direction from before, surprising the boy "Well, hallelujah."

"Follow the Embers and we might find a way out." She said. The two soon followed the torch, while holding each other's hands walking into the unknown. "I can see you staring."

"Sorry."

-On Mewni-

Star and Mariposa was waiting outside of the Monster castle, Star was pacing back and forth waiting for Marco. Mariposa was just looking around the old castle while still staying close to Star, "Oh where are they?" just then the ground started shaking, the two girls looked over and saw Globgor running from corrupted warriors. Star soon leap into action and blasted all of them away "Waricorn Stamped!"

The reaming soldiers soon fled, Marco soon jumped from Globgor's shoulder, sliding down his side and rushing towards Star "STAR!"

"MARCO!" she did the same and the two rush towards each and caught each other in massive bear hug, Marco even lifted Star up with a twirl before catching her with a kiss, which lasted uncomfortably long.

"Uh, Star?" Janna tried. But only to get a 'wait a minute' finger from the couple, until they were then pushed away by Mariposa.

"Okay were happy to see each other, but can we get to the task at hand!" Mariposa yelled.

"Right, after we save mewni." Star said as he gave one last peak and Star starts to explain her plan. "Alright according to recently found source, the way to Meteora should be somewhere in or around this castle."

"In the old Monster castle during my second reign as queen? Why there?" Eclipsa wondered with a head tilt.

"I don't know, but me Mari searched every inch of this place and you'll never guess what we found." Star said.

"A dinosaur made of fried chicken?" River guessed, which got him looks from the group. "What? I can't I at least have one line of dialogue this chapter?"

"Maybe its best if we just show you." Star said as she led the group into the castle.
