Chapter 35 His Inner Darkness Part 1

Terra's POV

I watched in horror as the Master of Masters held onto Ven with magic.

"Ven", I yelled out.

Then...I looked at the crystalized Aqua before looking back at Ven and clenching my fist together.

"Not again", I stated. "I will not loose Aqua and Ven again."

After I said this...I summoned my Keyblade.

"Master Eraqus", I started. "Please give me the strength to protect what matters most."

"You already have it", I heard a voice say. "It's been inside you all along."

Hearing this took me by surprise, but then...I nodded before looking at Riku.

"Riku", I started. "Look after Aqua for me. I need to go help Ven."

Hearing this made Riku look at me in shock, but then...he nodded.

"I'll take care of Aqua", he reassured me. "Go help Ven."

With that...I nodded again.

Then...I scaled the palace walls, and met the Master of Masters on the balcony.

"You", I yelled angrily. "Let go of Ven right now!"

"My poor boy", the Master of Masters started. "If only you knew who your little friend here truly was."

"What are you talking about", I asked in confusion.

"See that girl over there", the Master of Masters started as he pointed at Strelitzia. "Your little friend here...killed her."

"Don't you dare say such lies", I demanded angrily. "Ven would never hurt a fly!"

"He would...if his heart had been tainted by darkness", the Master of Masters stated.

"Ven's heart is too pure to be tainted by darkness", I stated.

"My boy", the Master of Masters started. "A pure heart is most careless."

"What do you mean by that", I asked in confusion.

"Pure hearts can be manipulated oh so easily", the Master of Masters stated. "That's why I'm so glad that I don't have one."

"Enough", I commanded angrily. "No more lies! Give me back Ven now!"

Upon hearing this...the Master of Masters looked at Ven.

"I don't think that's going to be a problem", he stated.

"What do you mean", I asked in confusion.

"See for yourself", the Master of Masters replied.

Then...he tossed Ven at me!

Luckily I managed to catch him.

"Ven", I started. "Open your eyes Ven!"

With that...Ven opened his eyes...and I couldn't believe mine.

His eyes...were yellow!

"Terra", he said when he saw me.

"Ven", I started. "Your eyes. They're yellow."

When I said this...Ven looked at me sadly before sitting up.

"I'm sorry Terra", he apologized. "I had to use the darkness inside me."

"The darkness inside you", I asked in shock.

"See Terra", the Master of Masters asked. "I told you that Ventus had darkness inside of him!"
