ALL NEW!

Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful Spring Holiday and that you learn a lot in the last few weeks of the term!

This week's special is raising awareness for eating disorders, and we are happy to announce that our very own Lauren Mallory has finally recovered from hers!

Eating disorders can be caused by many things. They can be caused by bullying, and also by a breakup, as was the case for Miss Mallory. "The onset of her mental illness was undoubtedly caused by her breakup with Eric Yorkie who ditched her for the pretty newspaper editor: Angela Weber," says a news contributor who wishes to remain anonymous. The same contributor believes falling in love my have pulled her out of the self-destructive behavior.

"She's always talking about Enoch Walrus," says Jessica Stanley, head cheerleader, "She thinks he's cute, and smart, and hopes one day he'll notice her. She's hopelessly in love."

Rumors have it that Enoch Walrus plans to take Lauren Mallory to Homecoming.

My death by laughter was temporarily put on hold at a high pitched scream. I straightened up against the door of my locker and looked across the room where Taylor was shrieking and dancing up and down, her finger pointed at the door of her own which had opened to a little mouse crouched inside.

She screamed again and Angela came to stand beside me, a satisfied smirk on her face.

"Wait 'till she finds out!" Angela bragged, "I managed to catch ten mice in total!"

Lauren didn't draw any attention to herself all day. To be fair, she didn't need to: Enoch Walrus drew it all for her. He was short, and only a freshman whose head only reached Lauren's shoulder. He had glasses: thick, square lenses in bright orange frames and always wore shirts more appropriate for a kindergartner. He followed her around all day, grinning like a loon, and trying to kiss her cheek, an action that ended with a black eye for the shorter one.

Carlisle picked me up from school and got out to greet me. I fell in his arms, laughing, and he wrapped me in an embrace.

"We can talk about it when we get home," he said, "Let's go, Sweetheart."

"Bye, Doctor Cullen!" Angela called from behind me, and he waved to her before opening the door and helping me in. He got in the other side and squeezed my hand briefly before running a hand over the side of my hair.

"Thanks, Dad." I murmured, my voice almost completely silent, but I knew he'd heard me. A smile flickered over his face, the way it always did when I called him that.

"It was nothing, Bella. Honestly." he assured me, and then his tone turned more serious, "Charlie invited you to dinner tonight, and I accepted on your behalf."

"You'll be going too, right?"

Something in my mind told me the answer was negative even before he confirmed it.

"Just you. I hope to say it, Darling, but you owe him a little time. You can drive yourself, and you'll be home by ten. Please don't worry. I'll only be a phone call away."

I smiled slightly at him.

"'Kay, Carlisle."

He smiled reassuringly at me.

"Remember: the kids will be back later this week."

He was right. Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, and Alice would be back. Things would be okay.

Sorry, it's short. I think there'll be about five more chapters. I'm starting to wrap up things. Theories are welcome. XD They may give me additional ideas. :)

Love you all, (especially you, Ryan Marshall 3)!
