Ada quickly followed Simmons with the helicopter, easily catching him up. Leon was now the one to take control of the guns, attacking Simmons from afar. The lumbering beast below roared, ran ahead of them to then stop. He mutated that bit more as long tendrils shot out from his chest, weaving together to form a long arm in which he used to throw whatever he could at the pair.
"I think we pissed him off a little," Leon grunted as Ada quickly pulled the helicopter back to avoid any damage.
Ada gave an amused snort as she narrowly dodged an oncoming car once again, while Leon was back to shooting at him. This time he decided on firing off a missile. Simmons roared as his cat like body was engulfed in flames.
"He's weakened!" Leon looked down as Simmons now reverted back to his former self to drag himself over to the towers courtyard.
He'd been heading for the quad tower all along. The very tower Carla had set up her base of operations, but what was Simmons after there? As soon as Ada lowered the helicopter down in between the four towers, Simmons recognised her at once.
"Ada!" he snarled. "How are you still alive?"
"I've asked myself that question many times," she thought to herself.
Soon he was crying out again as his body shifted, this time though things were different. Very different. How it was even possible what was happening at this point in time was beyond them. Admitted there had been the incident with Birkin, but this, this was on another level.
A rather large amount of bone was now growing from Simmons' back, soon forming what looked to be the vertebra of a very large animal. That soon followed by the growing of his legs, and body which were now more than ten times the size of him. Muscle and bones were forming rapidly as Simmons' top half now formed the rest of the intended animal. That animal being the form of a T-Rex, but this was all muscle, bone and eyes. There were lots of eyes hidden beneath the back bone and under the ribs below his belly. The jaws were lined with a row of razor sharp fangs, all ready and willing to tear into anything that got in his way.
"So this is what it's like to be in a dinosaur movie," Leon thought a little amused, though it wasn't really the time.
Ada didn't respond as she was now concentrating on not getting hit by his tail or even his teeth as Dino Simmons now took chase like a dog chasing a ball.
"I'm going out there," she said as she was now climbing from her seat to head into the back.
Leon quickly grabbed her wrist, which in turn got a grapple gun aimed at his head once again.
"I won't allow you, Ada!" he glared at her. "You can't take him on in this form."
"Let go of me, Leon." She wasn't demanding or angry in anyway, in fact she was rather calm.
"You'll get yourself killed!"
She nodded to the window, forcing Leon to quickly let go of her to regain control of the helicopter. By the time he looked back Ada had grabbed her crossbow and had vanished from sight.
"Story of my god damn life," he thought with a frown.
He then realised she'd done it so he could get the upper hand. She'd thrown herself in harm's way to be a distraction for him to deal some heavy damage from above.
"Damn you, Ada!" he frowned as he let loose a missile that just barely missed Simmons, but blew Ada off her feet instead. "Shit!"
She was laid out on the floor for a good minute or so, Simmons now closing in on her.
"Get away from her, you bastard!" Leon yelled as he opened fire.
Soon enough Simmons was now reverting to his normal form, dropping to one knee he looked up to see his once beloved Ada now pulling herself to her feet.
"I loved you!" he snarled. "And in return you BETRAY ME!"
He cried out as his body tore him apart once more to reform him back into a Tyrannosaurus Rex, this time however a few of the eyes under his spine and ribs were now leaking pus what with the damage he was now receiving.
"Hang in there, Ada." Leon sighed as he watched her from above.

"This isn't working!" Chris yelled finding the behemoth's skin too tough to penetrate.
"Don't you have anything stronger?" Jake asked as he slid between the bulking creatures legs.
"Yeah, a grenade launcher."
"Well then, where is it?"
"In the humvee," Chris responded.
"Well it's no fucking use there," Jake scowled as he ran over to punch the thing only to be sent flying back into one of the crates.
"Jake!" Sherry screamed, rushing over to him.
"Don't worry about me, I'm built like a tank." He reassured her as he stood to then round his shoulders for another go. "Just wish I had that healing ability though."
"Alright, I won't." She huffed as she stepped in to help once again, while Claire kept Piers awake until help arrived.
"Sherry!" he now scowled at her. "Get back with Claire!"
"You think I'm incapable of saving myself or others?" she asked angrily.
"I didn't mean it like that and you know it!" he scowled as the claw headed right for them.
Jake ran at Sherry, knocking her out of the way. He couldn't help but look down at her, getting a small smile in response. To cut the awkwardness she knew he was feeling she thanked him.
"Don't mention it," he replied before quickly standing from her to then help her to her feet.
She smiled at him and he couldn't help but return the gesture before running back in to help Chris and Jill.

Carla watched over Helena for a little while before the sound of a helicopter close by grabbed her attention. The sound of metal scraping against concrete was definitely not a good sign. Quickly standing she headed back through the alleyway, seeing the blades still spinning but the pilot by the looks of it had been shot.
"Unfortunate, but that should get me to the tower." She thought as she now turned back.
Helena was still half and half as Carla came back, giving her a little shake.
"Can you stand?" she asked.
Helena gave a weak shrug in return as Carla grabbed her arm to pull her to her feet.
"I'll get you to the tower, from there I'll just need the boy."
Helena groaned against her, forcing herself to walk as to not put all the pressure on Carla. Once they were at the helicopter, Carla laid her on the back seat, closed the door and climbed into the front.
"Come on, now." Carla was glaring at the dash as she finally got the helicopter to rise.
First things first was taking care of the Ustanak. She'd been the one to create him, she'd be the one to finish him. She piloted the helicopter over to where she watched a team of most likely BSAA members. They would be no match for the bulking creature, and it really didn't interest her anyway.
Turning the helicopter around she was now face to face with her creation. "Sorry, Jenkins, but your time is up!"
"Who the hell is this now?" Jake shouted as a missile was now launched.
"Everyone get back!" Chris beckoned as the missile struck the creatures chest.
He roared, arm and claw flailing as flames engulfed him.
"Hm, seems one wasn't enough." She sighed, readying another missile.
The creature looked up with an almighty roar, readying his claw.
"Oh no you don't!" Jake scowled as he ran over to jump up, fist at the ready.
Once he'd connected with the things face, the claw just narrowly missed the helicopter as Carla fired off a second missile. Jake quickly ran back, taking cover as the missile exploded once again. Thankfully the Ustanak was now on its last legs. It dropped to its knees, looking up to see Carla to be the very one that had done this to him. He leaned back, fully exposing his chest and roared.
Carla readied another missile, but seeing Sherry now running out of cover with a gun in hand yelling at the thing she decided to let her have the honours.
"You're not taking Jake!" she screamed.
Jake ran over, stopping beside her. He could see how shaky her hands were as they held up the gun. He raised a hand cupping hers to help support her.
"Let's end this."
She looked to him and smiled as he turned to her with a smile.
"Ready, super girl?"
"Ready," she nodded, finger squeezing the trigger.
The Ustanak was forced back a little before he regained himself, raising the claw he soon found his body was now breaking up, soon he was nothing more than a bloody mess of parts.
"We did it!" Sherry practically jumped on Jake. "It's over!"
Jake was a little taken aback, but slowly raised an arm to pat her on the back.
"We did," he sighed, starting to enjoy the moment until Sherry broke away to run back over to see how the medics were dealing with Piers.
They'd given him something for the pain as they then raised the slab off his arm, there was no doubt about it he knew himself he'd lost his arm, but he was thankful to his Captain for saving his life.
"Claire," Chris called out.
She turned to him. "Chris, what are you going to do now?"
"Go after Simmons," he told her, sighing slightly. "Carla may have taken all my men, but I now see Simmons is the reason behind it. I'm gonna stop him and bring Carla in. She can't get away with what she's done."
Claire nodded. "Do what has to be done, Chris."
"Miss Redfield," one of the men waved her over. "We need to leave now!"
"Coming," she told him before looking back to her brother. "I don't want the same happening to you, so be careful."
"I always am, Claire." He smiled as he now watched her go. "Alright, I'm going after Simmons and Carla."
"We're coming too," Sherry now told him.
"Not a chance!" he scowled.
"Chris," Sherry lowered her head now. "Simmons used me. I thought I could trust him, but after what he did to me I know I never should have."
Chris shook his head. "Alright, but you're under mine and my partners protection. You do as I say, got it?"
"Got it," she nodded with a smile.
"Thanks for volunteering me, babe." Jake huffed behind her.
The four of them climbed onto a humvee, Sherry and Jake took up the turrets on the back while Jill took the wheel and Chris gave cover from the sunroof.
"Let's finish this son of a bitch!" he snarled as Jill drove them over to the tower courtyard.
