Aris Atreides sits on the edge of one of the floating islands in Skyworld, where his angel friend Pit and the Goddess of Light, Palutena, dwell. Takashi and Raylo are elsewhere in Skyworld; Aris is glad that they came with him after Beacon's fall.
Over time, the Hylian grew used to lacking a left arm. It's quite inconvenient, since everything he needs to do has to be done with one hand, but Aris has found ways to make things easier for himself. Lady Palutena has also been giving him jobs with his missing limb in mind. Unfortunately, that means Aris isn't allowed to go into battle with Pit, Takashi, and Raylo. He misses the thrill of the fight greatly.
A voice rouses Aris from his thoughts. "Hey, man."
Aris looks over his shoulder. Takashi has joined him. "Hey, Joker," says Aris.
"Lady Palutena told me to get you," says Takashi. "Some people came to see you. It's urgent."
Aris gets to his feet. "Who is it?"
"You'll see. Come on."
Takashi leads Aris back into the main foyer of Lady Palutena's temple.
"I found him," Takashi announces to everyone present. Standing in the foyer are Lady Palutena, Pit, Raylo, and three other people. One of them is familiar to Aris. A girl in a pink battle gown with gold-colored armor plating. She has golden hair, which is cut boyishly short, in a bob cut. Aris doesn't remember her hair being this short. The girl is holding a box in both hands. This is Aris's sister, the princess of Hyrule: Loretta Atreides.
Standing with her are a young woman and a young man. The two of them have similar appearances, perhaps they are relatives? They both have dark blue hair, with the female's hair reaching the small of her back and the male's hair being quite short. The female wears a dark blue outfit with a gold-colored trim, a dark blue shoulder pad on her right shoulder. Her cape is also dark blue on the outside, but red on the inside. In a scabbard strapped to her left hip is a broadsword.
Her male companion is a head taller, and much burlier. He wears an outfit similar to that of the female, with his right arm being completely exposed, lacking any sort of sleeve. The man's right shoulder is marked with a strange tattoo. His cape is dark blue on the inside and pure white on the outside. A silver-colored shoulder pad sits on his left shoulder, and on his hip is a sword identical to that of the female.
"Hello, Aris," says Lady Palutena.
"Lady Palutena," says Aris. "You wanted to see me?"
The Goddess of Light turns to Loretta and her two companions. "Go on."
Aris approaches his sister. "It's good to see you again, Loretta."
"And to you as well, dear brother," says the princess of Hyrule. "As soon as I heard about what happened to your arm, I met with the best Sheikah scientists at Hyrule Castle, and we all got to work."
"Wait," says Aris. "You mean..."
Loretta nods. "Yes. We built you a new arm."
Hyrule's princess opens the box. Inside is a prosthetic left arm, made of Sheikah technology. Encrusted into the back of the arm's left hand is a pink and green gemstone: Galladite, the Keystone used to Mega Evolve a Gallade. "The arm can summon a shield made of energy," says Loretta. "You can throw the shield at your enemies and then summon a new one instantaneously."
"Not only that," Raylo adds, "but the hand can turn into a grappling hook. And the arm can do everything a Sheikah Slate can do."
Aris stares down at the arm in awe. "Sister...thank you. Thank you so much!"
Loretta giggles. "Anything for my baby brother."
"You're only older by a few minutes," Aris reminds her. "We're twins."
"But I'm still older," Loretta laughs. "Just try the arm on."
With his remaining arm of flesh, Aris picks up the Sheikah arm. He moves the back end of the arm towards the stump that once held his left arm. Upon reaching its destination, the arm began to connect to the stump. Aris winced as sharp objects began piercing his flesh.
Soon after, the pain stopped.
"Try waving," Pit tells Aris.
Aris slowly lifts his new left arm. His brain sends signals through his nerves, telling his new arm to wave.
It does exactly that.
Aris jumps and cheers, raising his left arm into the sky. "I'm back in the fight!"
Loretta smiles. "Indeed you are."
Aris glances at Loretta's companions. "But, who are they?"
Loretta turns to the duo and nods.
End BGM
The man bows his head in greeting. "I am Chrom, Prince of Ylisse," he says formally. "And this is my daughter, Lucina."
Lucina mirrors her father. "Greetings."
"Ylisse?" says Aris. "Is that in another world?"
Loretta shakes her head. "Ylisse is actually on a continent across the eastern ocean from Hyrule," she says. "I didn't know of its existence until a few weeks ago."
"Ylisse and Hyrule have formed an alliance," says Chrom. "When we heard about what happened to you and your friends at Beacon, Aris, we decided to help."
"How so?" asks Aris.
Lucina speaks up. "Ylisse is in a period of prosperity, and as such, I have no real need to be there. My father has given me permission to join you, Takashi, and Raylo on your return to Remnant."
"Wait," says Aris. "You want to join me and my friends?"
Lucina nods. "Indeed. It has been quite a while since I went on any sort of adventure. As such, I wish to join you, if you'll have me."
Aris doesn't even hesitate, holding out his hand for a handshake. "Welcome aboard."
Lucina smiles, shaking Aris's hand. "Thank you. I look forward to fighting at your side."
Aris turns to Chrom. "Is there anything else you wish to say?"
Chrom turns to Aris. "That will be all. I mainly came here to see my daughter off on her trip."
"Very well," says Aris.
Chrom turns to leave. "I will be heading back home now. Lucina, may your blade strike true."
"And to you as well, father," says Lucina.
Chrom leaves.
Aris, Takashi, Raylo, and Lucina all assemble together. "We need a team name," says Raylo.
"A team name?" Lucina asks.
Takashi nods. "Like the one we had at Beacon. We were team AMPR, or Atmosphere."
"Unfortunately, one of our teammates, Perci Parker, didn't survive the Fall of Beacon," Aris says somberly. "So, we'll need a new team name."
"I want Aris to stay the leader," Raylo puts in. "He did a great job at Beacon. So, the name will have to start with an A."
The four start to think. Lucina snaps her fingers. "I have an idea. We could be A-W-L-T. I can't think of any words for the name, though."
"What about 'amulet'?" Aris suggests. "That seems close enough."
Takashi, Raylo, and Lucina all voice their agreement.
"It's settled then," Aris says. "Takashi, Ray, Lucina...it is my honor to lead us, as team AWLT, into battle!"
Takashi draws his twin daggers, Phantom and Royal, and combines them into their broadsword form. He lifts it high, the tip pointing upwards at a 45-degree angle. Raylo ignites Skywalker, his Dust-fueled energy sword, and does the same, the tip situated right next to that of Phantom and Royal. Aris draws the Master Sword and does the same, and finally Lucina joins in, drawing a blade of her own.
Everyone puts away their swords.
Lady Palutena speaks up. "I guess all that's left is to take you all to Remnant."
"Indeed," says Lucina. "But how?"
"I can take Takashi and Ray in via the Lightning Chariot," Pit offers.
"I have my Salamence," Aris chimes in. "Lucina and I can fly in on him."
"I guess that's taken care of," says Ray.
"In that case," says Pit, "everyone, follow me to the Lightning Chariot!"
The captain of Lady Palutena's army leads the newly formed team AWLT to the place where the Lightning Chariot is parked.
