"Not to be rude but that was a bit of a waste of time." Sirius nodded in agreement. "Getting us all round just to tell us about changes in the watch schedule. Why did he have to do that in person? Or in the next Order meeting?" Remus laid the tea pot down in the sink but his question wasn't answered. Everyone was exhausted. Dumbledore had only stayed twenty minutes but the group looked as though they hadn't slept in weeks. Sirius yawned. "Mind if I kip here tonight?" He asked James and Lily.

"Course. You can as well Mooney." Smiling with appreciation Remus bade James and Lily goodnight as they slowly made their way upstairs.

"Are you feeling ok?" James asked Lily as he threw his trousers onto the pile of clothes. Climbing into the bed he pulled Lily towards him. She hadn't answered or even acknowledged that he was there. "What you thinking about Evans?"

Broken out of her trance Lily sighed, turning to James "Is it me or do you feel like we're forgetting something?" James laughed although he secretly agreed. He nestled under the covers. "I don't know Lil's. Today has been a bit of a blur. I wouldn't worry about whatever you've forgotten though. It's probably just baby brain settling in." He forced a laugh as he said this, unable to shake the feeling that he had just woken up from a dream. Lily accepted his kind words and snuggled up to him. They lay there silently for a while both trying to remember what they couldn't bring to the forefront of their minds. Suddenly Lily sat up.

"James!" She cried.

Panicked he shot bolt up right. Lily began laughing, "James." She whispered reaching for his hand "The baby's kicking."
