Dewey feels that no one is his family pays attention to him so he runs off, but is later found. It's no big deal. Or so it seems. But Webby's onto him. There's something strange about Dewey, and she'll find out what. She should be able to figure out what's wrong with her friend...right? Rated T for violence; no cursing. (THIS IS A SHORT STORY, SO THE CHAPTERS ARE SHORT.)

24. Chapter 24

Nobody Listens Chapter 24: "Adventure Part 5"

Dewey clumsily tripped over a rock, "Gack!"

Webby caught him and he blushed.

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Louie and Huey cooed in unison.

Webby helped Dewey up to his feet, then from behind him pulled out a small pocket knife and held it in her right hand, while motioning slicing off their heads with her left.

Louie and Huey exchanged horrified glances.

"Hm?" Dewey looked behind him and Webby hid her pocket knife behind her.

"Ya know, cute girl stuff." Webby told him while making cute puppy dog eyes.

Dewey shrugged and kept walking to keep up with the grown-ups.

Louie made smooching noises and Webby patted her knife. He abruptly stopped.

Webby smirked and put her knife back in her pocket while Louie and Huey ran ahead with worried looks on their faces.
