I Didn't Have A Choice-Ch 27
Derek stood nervously in the archway watching the backyard, his heart was racing as he waited for the ceremony to start, he smiled as he saw Emily start making her way up the aisle. She looked so beautiful in her light blue dress and when she got half way up the aisle JJ started making her way slowly toward them.
Reid smiled at his beautiful wife, he looked so beautiful in her peach colored dress, it was only a matter of about a minute before she took her place in front of Emily. Next came Henry and Jack, they looked so adorable in their little tux's, each was carrying a light blue pillow with a wedding band in the center of it.
When they got to the front Derek leaned in and said, "where's Jessicas son, where's Henry"?, Reid shrugged and whispered, "I have no idea" as their attention turned back to the end of the aisle. Henry started making his way toward them with something in his hands.
Derek couldn't make it out at first but the closer he got the clearer and clearer the pictures were getting, Reid leaned in and said, "not that's sweet", Derek nodded his head in agreement. As Henry walked closer Derek smiled and looked at his mom, who was of course all smiles.
The music changed to the wedding march and Derek once again felt his heart racing, she looked so beautiful in her dress, it hugged every curve making him inwardly moan in appreciation. When they got to the front of the aisle Dave kissed her on the cheek and said, "you look radiant kitten".
He then put her hand in Dereks and then stepped over and stood beside Fran, Penelope then looked at Derek and said, "I wanted my mom and dad and your dad to be here, so I hope you don't mind the pictures"?, Derek smiled lovingly at her and gently squeezed her hands and said, "I love it, thank you sweetness".
They then both turned to face the minister who said, "you may be seated" as he looked out at the family and friends of the bride and of the groom. His attention then turned to the happy couple, he said, "dearly beloved we are gathered here today in the sight of God and these witnesses to join together Derek Michael Morgan and Penelope Grace Garcia in the bonds of holy matrimony".
He then looked out at the family and friends and said, "I can see that this couple is truly loved by everybody in attendance", everybody smiled and nodded their heads yes in agreement. He then glanced back at Henry and Jack and asked for the rings, they stepped forward and he took the rings and put them in the center of the open bible and after a quick prayer his attention then turned back to Derek and Penelope.
Derek looked at the minister as he said, "Derek, take this ring and put it on Penelopes finger and then recite your vows", Derek took the ring and blew out a deep breath. He then said, "Penelope, baby girl, you are the love of my life, you are the other part of my heart and today you become my wife".
She felt tears building up in her eyes as he said, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, loving you and being loved by you, the best is yet to come". Penelope turned to face the minister as he said, "Penelope take this ring and put it on Dereks finger and then recite your vows".
Penelope took the ring and nervously slid it onto Dereks finger and said, "Derek, hotstuff, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, you are my guiding light when I'm lost in the dark". Derek squeezed her hand gently as she said, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, I can't wait to grow old with you and love you with everything I have and everything I am for the rest of my life".
The minster the said, "if their is anyone that can show just cause why these two can't be lawfully joined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace". After a few seconds he turned to the couple and said, "by the powers vested in me by this state I now pronounce you husband and wife".
Derek smiled at Penelope and then cupped her face in his hands as the minister said, "Derek you may kiss your bride", Derek leaned in and pressed his lips against Penelopes in a soft and loving kiss. They pulled apart to the sound of hands clapping and the cheers of their friends shouting their congratulations.
Derek said, "I love you Mrs. Morgan", Penelope touched his cheek and said, "and I love you Mr. Morgan", the cheers continued as Derek and Penelope leaned in for another kiss.
