That was when Harkin noticed the tie that Draco was wearing, and she smiled; he was wearing her Gryffindor tie to match her dress, and Draco noticed the smirk. "Don't say it. I just didn't have a red and black tie to match your dress. Don't think this will ever happen again, because after tonight I am going out and buying my own tie." Draco stated without even looking at her.

"I wasn't going to say anything, but I was thinking about what your father is going to say when he sees it." Harkin stated, and Draco froze mid-stride and swore under his breath, causing Harkin to smile wider.

"I didn't even think about that. Shit! He won't notice, you think." Draco questioned.

"I don't know your father is quite observant, Dray." She stated as they reached the bottom of the stairs, and Harkin looked up to find the entire crowd of people in the main foyer staring at them and froze, deer in headlights style. Draco smiled, and then he removed his hand from hers and wrapped it around her waist, placing the hand he was holding in his other hand as he guided her farther into the room and over to where he saw his parents.

When they got there, Draco side hugged his mother and kissed her on the cheek before whispering, "Sorry we were late. I had to admire how beautiful my raven was in her ball gown." Draco then kissed Harkin's temple and then he shook his father's hand in greeting.

"Draco, is that a Gryffindor tie?" Lucius asked, and Draco groaned as Harkin laughed out loud causing everyone's heads to turn towards her. "What is so funny?" Lucius asked.

"I told him you would notice, and he didn't believe me, or didn't want to believe that you would notice." Harkin stated while Draco buried his face in her hair, and Narcissa stated laughing as well.

"Well, I would assume he is wearing it because he didn't have another tie to match your dress." Narcissa stated, and Harkin nodded.

"Or so he says anyway." Harkin stated, and she felt Draco chuckle against the side of her head.

When Draco lifted his head, he turned towards Narcissa, and he asked, "When will dinner be served?" Narcissa turned towards him and glared at him.

"Draco, you have been over the itinerary a hundred times." She scolded.

"I wasn't sure if the schedule had changed due to complications with the meal preparation." Draco stated.

"No, dinner is still at the same time." Narcissa stated, and Draco nodded in confirmation.

"Alright, while we are waiting, I'm going to take Harkin for a spin around the dance floor really quick." Draco smirked, and Harkin stared up at him in fear.

"Are you sure that is a good idea?' Harkin whispered. "I'm not that good."

"Trust me. I won't let you fall or embarrass yourself." Draco smiled, and Harkin just nodded. Draco took her hand and pulled her onto the dance floor with ease. He pulled her to his chest, and he placed one hand on her waist and the other in her hand. Harkin gently placed her hand on his shoulder, and he leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Just follow me and pay no attention to anyone else." Draco then turned towards the band in the corner of the room and gave a gentle nod, and the music started, and he immediately started pulling her around the dance floor. Harkin was surprised to find that it was easy with Draco, and when she focused on him and only him, everything was easy. They glided around the dance floor, and it wasn't until the music stopped and everyone clapped at their performance that Harkin noticed everyone staring at them.

Harkin blushed and buried her face in Draco's chest, and he chuckled and pulled her from the floor. "Dinner is served in the dining room, when everyone is ready." Narcissa stated, and Harkin turned towards Draco, and he wrapped his arm back around her waist and led her into the dining room. He led her to her seat and pulled out her chair for her, and she sat down, and he pulled out the chair next to her and sat down. Lucius was at the head of the table next to Draco, and Narcissa was next to Lucius across from Draco. Everyone else filled in the table around the family of four, but Harkin paid no attention to anyone but Draco, and sometimes Narcissa as she dragged her attention away from Draco to pick up some conversations with other members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight.

The women seemed to want nothing to do with Harkin as her family was now out of the Scared Twenty-Eight when her father married her mother and had her, a half blood, and the last of the Potter line, and therefore making the Malfoy line into half-bloods as well. "You know, raven, that you might not even be considered a half-blood anymore." Draco whispered into her ear, and Harkin looked over at him with a puzzled look. "With our bond. We are practically one person now. Meaning I would either be a half-blood or you would be a pureblood. Either way it doesn't matter to me, as long as I have you in my life." Draco stated, and she smiled at him.

"Thank you, Dray." Harkin whispered back to him, and he leaned over and kissed the top of her head, and the room around them froze. Draco and Harkin looked up to see the enter room staring at them, and Harkin looked from the room to Draco and then the room and back. "What just happened?" Harkin whispered to him.

"A Malfoy made a public display of affection, and people don't know how to deal with it. We haven't been making public displays of affection for centuries because of our prestigious status in the wizarding world. We think we're better than everyone else, and they don't need to know what is going on. But that is going to change, because we don't need to pretend in public. I love you and I'm going to show it when I want to, not when my heritage says I should." Draco stated, and Harkin smiled at him.

"You are growing." She whispered to him, and they went back to their meal, and eventually everyone else slowly did too. The meal went by rather quickly after that, and then everyone moved to the ballroom, and the Malfoy family started the dance off with a dance. Lucius and Narcissa and Draco and Harkin.

"Just like last time follow me, and don't pay attention to anyone else. I won't let you fall." Draco whispered in her ear, and she sighed into his chest before nodding. Draco nodded to his mother and father, and Lucius turned towards the band just like Draco had the last time, and they were off. The four Malfoy's twirled around the dance floor, and eventually when people were allowed to join in couples slowly started migrating onto the dance floor, and Harkin caught sight of Remus off to the back of the room by himself, and she frowned. "What's the matter, love?" Draco asked without a missed beat, and Harkin looked up at him.

"Remus. He looks so sad without Sirius here." Harkin whispered, and Draco looked up and saw him.

"Do you want to dance with him to cheer him up?" Draco asked.

"Remus and I both have no coordination. Our significant others are the ones that have the dancing talent. So, I don't know how well that is going to go." Harkin stated.

"But will it cheer him up?"

"Maybe, I don't know. We can't dance so I don't know." Harkin whispered, and Draco sighed before twirling them in the direction of Remus and Draco switched Harkin into Remus' arms and somehow managed to twirl them back onto the dance floor with ease. Harkin and Remus then kind of swayed on the dance floor to the music, and he kissed her on top of her head.

"I miss him too, Harry." He whispered.

"I just saw how sad you looked without him here. I figured I would try and cheer you up, but wasn't sure if dancing would do the trick because neither one of us can dance." She stated shyly, and Remus laughed, causing her to look up at him. "What's so funny?" she asked.

"It isn't about whether either of us can dance; it is about making the other person feel better. Sirius was always the one who could dance, and he would always parade me around the dance floor, spinning and dipping and everything else that he could do, and it would make me laugh. That's what dancing is really about. Making sure your partner is having a good time. Even in school when we would have a dance, and Siri and I weren't even technically together, but James knew we would end up together, Siri would always parade me around the dance floor. Because he would see me sitting in the corner of the room, by myself, because James would have a date and so would Siri, and Peter," Remus took a deep breath at the mention of their ex-best friend's name, and then continued, "Peter would never go, because he didn't like dances too much."

Remus spun Harkin around the dance floor in a few circles, making Harkin giggle until they were off the dance floor, and Remus took her hand. "Can I talk to you in private, please? Siri wanted you to have something before you got married."

"Yeah, of course. Have you seen the garden, yet? It's beautiful. I actually helped Narcissa put it together." Harkin boasted slightly.

"It is beautiful, Fawn, and I'm sorry; she has me under the Imperius Curse, and I'm fighting it, but it's too close to the full moon." Remus said through clenched teeth.

"I don't blame you, Remi; I still love you, and I'm sorry about this. Imperio!" Harkin screamed, ordering Remus to run back to the ball.

"Fawn…" Remus tried to fight, but eventually lost the battle and went back to the ball.

"Alright, Bellatrix, where are you?" Harkin yelled. "Come out to play. I know that is what you want, right?" Harkin taunted.

"You know me so well little Potter, or has my nephew claimed your virtue already?" Bellatrix said as Harkin felt arms wrap around her and a knife pressed to her throat.

"What Draco has or hasn't done isn't your concern, though what the Malfoy's do to you when they find out you have me is." Harkin stated.

"My sister doesn't have the guts to fight me. She fears me just like anyone else."

"But what about Lucius or Draco, especially since I'm carrying the next generation of the Malfoy line." Harkin stated.

"So, my nephew has taken your virtue. Mmm…and he even knocked you up while he was at it. Lucius, you forgot to teach the boy proper protection charms; though, father like son, right?" Bellatrix said, winking at Lucius like she knew something Harkin did not.

"What?" Harkin asked as she looked up at Lucius, who had anger printed clearly on his face, which scared Harkin slightly.

"Oh, little Potter doesn't know the story, but I do. See after he graduated from Hogwarts, Cissy still had another year, so Luci took her to his family home in France, telling my parents that his parents will be there, but they weren't. He ended up knocking my sister up, and he sent her back off to school. Well, Cissy got sick a few weeks into school, and she found out she was pregnant. She ended up aborting the baby not wanting the shame, and she didn't tell Luci right away. I'm surprised they got back together after that fight." Bellatrix explained, and Harkin stared off into the distance. "Lucky for me I came prepared with a portkey." Bellatrix said, and Harkin's eyes widened in fear.

"Lucius…" Harkin barely whispered as she felt a hook behind her navel, and she could feel as the portkey whisked her away.

"You weren't expecting that were you?" Bellatrix laughed.

"Why didn't you just kill me?"

"I would never deprive my sister of her first grandchild. She always wanted a little girl." Bellatrix cooed as she placed her hand on Harkin's stomach making her flinch. "So, until this baby is out, I won't hurt you. After that I will cut one piece off you at a time and mail them to my traitorous nephew." Bellatrix screamed.

"If Draco doesn't find me first." Harkin stated with a smirk across her face.

"You would have to break through my wards first." Bellatrix stated cockily.

"Easy." Harkin stated as she started pooling her magic, and she could slowly feel the magic expanding around her until she felt it pause and started to build up around them, pushing against the wards until they broke with an explosion. Harkin wasn't expecting that as small derby fell from the rafters. Harkin tried to avoid it, and watched as one of the rafters broke free, and fell right on top of Bellatrix, pinning her to the ground.

"Help me, please." Bellatrix pleaded. "You're too noble not to help." She finished with an insult.

"No, I think I won't." Harkin said as some derby fell from the ceiling, collapsing right on top of her. All she could do was scream, before she fell unconscious.

Draco watched as his father came back in without his fiancée. "Father, where is she?" Draco asked through clenched teeth.

"I'm sorry, Draco. Bella had a portkey that I definitely did not foresee." Lucius stated.

"So, my insane aunt has her. My apologies, Mother." Draco added.

"Not needed. The question is where would she go with her and how long do we have?"

"The where I cannot answer, but she knows Miss Potter is pregnant." Lucius said.

"That gives us at least nine months." Narcissa stated, before she walked on stage to stop the music. "I must apologies for the interruption, but do to an unexpected circumstance, the party must end now. The elves will help you find your cloaks and escort you to the floo to home. Again, I deeply apologies." Narcissa said as house elves started appearing next to people with their cloaks and escorting them to the foyer where the nearest connection to the floo network was.

Most of the ballroom was empty except the Malfoy's, the Weasley's, Hermione, and Remus, when Draco heard the explosion in his head followed by this pull, and he knew it was Harkin.

"She's broken the wards." Draco said, and everyone turned to stare at him.

"What do you mean, sweetheart?" Narcissa asked.

"Harkin broke Aunt Bella's wards. I can feel her." Draco stated.

"How?" Hermione asked.

"It's a type of homing beacon, Miss Granger. Draco is the only one in the room who can find Miss Potter." Severus said as he whisked into the room.

"Uncle Sev, I thought you didn't do parties?" Draco asked.

"I don't. I had placed a personal tracking charm on Miss Potter after the first disappearance. I didn't want to guess where she was if something happened, and as of ten minutes ago the trace disappeared completely. Which means Bellatrix is using dark wards."

"Was using. Harkin broke them." Draco said as Harkin's screams rebounded through his skull, causing him to scream.

"Shit." Severus swore as he hurried over to Draco, who had his hands covering both his ears. "Draco, focus on her not the pain. Which way do you feel her from? Where do you want to go?"

"S-south." Draco stuttered.

"South, okay. How far?"

"Not that far maybe only a couple of miles." Draco whispered.

"Black Manor." Narcissa said. "I could ride my horse here before my parents died."

"She's hurt, something happened." Draco whispered.

"Severus and I will go get her, and bring her home. I promise, Dragon." Narcissa said as she brushed his hair out of his face to kiss his forehead.

"What am I to do?" Lucius inquired.

"You've already done enough. Comfort your son, and when this is over, we are having a serious conversation." Narcissa said as she grabbed Severus' arm and disappeared.

Lucius stood there staring at the spot Narcissa disappeared from.

"Oh, for heaven's sake, you don't know how to comfort your own son." Hermione stated as she marched over to Draco practically pushing Lucius aside to pull Draco into her lap to comfort him. "Harry is tough and strong; she'll make it through this. She's made it through too much not too." Hermione soothed as she brushed him as she brushed her fingers through his hair.

"What is going on here?" Narcissa's voice echoed through the ballroom, and Draco looked up at his mother's voice.

"Mum?" Draco questioned as he stumbled out of Hermione's lap and up to his mother. "Where is she?"

"She's safe, and Mel is in your room checking them over." Narcissa barely said in his room before he started moving. "I will speak with you in your study." Narcissa said before walking out of the room.

"What just happened?" Ron asked.

"I don't know, but Harry is safe, and it is late, so we should head home. Hermione, dear, are you going to be staying with us at the Burrow?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

"No, I'll be staying here. Thank you for the offer, Mrs. Weasley."

"You are always welcome, dear."

"I know, thank you." Hermione said as the Weasley's left, Ron pausing before leaving with them. "Do you know where Draco's room is?" Hermione asked as she turned to Remus.

"No, but I can smell which way Draco went." Remus shrugged.

"That works, I guess." Hermione said as Remus started moving, and she followed him. They walked for a little while until they heard shouting.

"Lucius, I know you had a hand in this. Bella is unconscious in St. Mungos guarded by Auror, and she's not talking obviously, but there is only one way for her to get that kind of access to Remus." Narcissa screamed.

"Cissa, I wouldn't. That would potentially put Draco in danger."

"Don't lie to me, Lucius. I know how you plan things, and this has your signature all over it, Lucius."

"Cissa, I didn't…"

"Lucius!" Narcissa screamed. "Don't you dare?"

"Fine, I gave her access to Remus. Are you happy, Cissa? She has been nothing but an annoyance since she stepped foot in our home. Almost getting us killed by the Dark Lord, and then Severus with his experimental potions that could have killed Draco. Nothing but trouble and now…now she's pregnant, and it's not even Draco's fault. It's Severus' with his stupid potion. Nott fucking raped her getting her knocked up, and now my son is the father because of that potion. How is that fair to Draco?"

"It's not, but we both know, or should know, that Draco would have taken care of that child whether Draco was the biological father or not."

"It's not getting my money while I live here." Lucius stated.

"Good thing it is no longer your money; its Draco's."

"Cissa, what did you do?"

"Something that I should have done when the Ministry interviewed you 14 years ago." Narcissa said. "Stupefy." She shouted.

"Holy shit." Hermione whispered.

"Take him away, boys. Sorry it took so long."

"That's fine, Narcissa. We've got it from here, and you and your son are safe, and as soon as Lucius in incarcerated the Malfoy estate and vaults will be transferred to your son."

"Thank you. I appreciate that."

"Have a good rest of your night, and I hope Miss Potter and the baby are alright."

"I do as well. Thank you." Narcissa said as the floo sounded notifying Remus of the Aurors departure. "How much did you hear?"

"Well, Lucius' confession to you, and then your conversation with the Aurors."

"Did Mr. Malfoy really put Harry in the position to be kidnapped by your insane sister?" Hermione asked.

"Unfortunately, Miss Granger." Narcissa said as she looked at the clock on the wall. "Though, that took longer than anticipated. We should go check on Harkin." She said as she walked out of the room, and Remus and Hermione hurried from the room to follow her to Draco's room. "How are they, Mel?" Narcissa asked as soon as she entered the room.

"Better. I had to force a calming draught down Draco's throat when he got here, but Harkin and the baby are in surprisingly in good health considering the way you found her." Mel said as Narcissa watch her son's sleeping condition. He was lying on the bed next to Harkin not touching her except with his left hand over her stomach.

"Can I ask what condition you found her in?" Hermione asked.

"Miss Potter accidentally dropped a house on herself and my sister. My guess is she didn't take in the fact of the structure of the house when she forcibly removed the wards that the structure of the house would become unstable. She took my deranged sister out by dropping a house on her rather Wizard of Oz like Miss Potter."

"You've heard of the Wizard of Oz, Mrs. Malfoy?"

"Yes, did you know that some of these effects were done by wizards?"

"No, I didn't know that." Hermione said.

"Something the know-it-all doesn't know. Amazing." Hermione heard Draco's muttered voice.

"I thought you were asleep, dragon." Narcissa said as she moved over to the side of the bed that Draco was on.

"No, usually the calming draught has that affect, but given my power levels, doesn't make that affect as prominent for me and Harkin." Draco explained.

"So, you've been awake this whole time?" Melody asked.

"Yeah, but I haven't really been paying much attention to you, just Har and the baby."

"Can you feel them?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah, their magic is strong. Har is fighting and pushing most of her magic to protect the baby. I think her mind and magic doesn't realize that they're safe." Draco explained.

"And what are you doing?" Hermione asked.

"Pushing all my magic towards her and the baby, trying to sooth them and make them realize they're safe." Draco stated.

"You can do that?" Hermione questioned.

"Yes, it is part of our bond. Our magical cores are intertwined."

"Bond? You and Harry are bonded?"

"Yes, I thought you knew." Draco said as he finally looked up from Harkin to look at the other people in the room.

"Hadn't gotten around to telling her yet." Harkin muttered, and Draco's attention was back on her.

"Har, how are you feeling?" Draco asked.

"Like I accidentally dropped a house on myself. How's our baby?"

"Perfect, just like her mother." Draco said as he laid back down and pulled Harkin into his arms.

"Well, I was actually going to wait a little while to tell you this, when you were a little more stable, but there isn't just one baby, there are two. It appears that the potion Severus created had delayed effects on the baby until we stabilized you last week, and further tests that I did tonight to make sure they were okay showed twins, but not twins in the normal sense of the word." Melody explained.

"What do you mean?" Harkin asked.

"They have two different fathers." Melody finished.

"What?" Harkin nearly screamed.

"You heard me. Your magic and body didn't know what to do with the extra DNA, and since your body separated the DNA, one child is your and Draco's and the other is your and Thaddeus Nott's." Melody explained further.

"Nott as in Theodore Nott." Hermione gasped.

"The baby will be his half sibling." Harkin stated.

"Theo was the one who kidnapped you from the school?" Hermione said.

"Yes, but it wasn't his fault. His father was an abusive arse, and I'm 100 percent sure that Thaddeus beat him. Theo did it to save his life." Harkin defended. "And given my past I would be a hypocrite not to forgive him." Harkin finished.

"I never said I blamed Theo, love. I've known about how his treated him, and Theo is a great person, and would be a great older brother."

"I agree." Harkin stated.

"Wait, so you're carrying Draco's baby and Nott's younger sibling? Two separate babies." Hermione questioned.

"Yes, and I won't keep it from Theo either. He isn't his father." Harkin stated as she looked at everyone in the room.

"I would have told poor Theo anyway if you hadn't said anything. In fact, I'll write him myself and see if he would like to join us for dinner tomorrow. Oh, and Draco, darling, you'll be sitting at the head of the table." Narcissa stated as she walked out of the room.

"What? Why? Mother!" Draco said as he started to get out of the bed.

"Draco, just ask her when she comes back. Stay with you injured fiancée." Harkin said, and Draco sat back down on the bed.

"Alright, love. I'm sorry." Draco whispered as he leaned forwards to kiss her.

"Wait, fiancée?" Hermione gasped. "We're fifteen, Harry, isn't it a little early for marriage?"

"I'm pregnant with twins, Hermione, and the marriage thing is what is bothering you?"

"Yes, just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you have to get married."

"Yes, or otherwise the baby will be born out of wedlock." Harkin stated.

"Wedlock? What are we in the early 1900s? No, we're almost into the 21st century, you don't have to worry as much about having a baby out of wedlock." Hermione stated.

"Hermione, that maybe how it is in the muggle world, but in the wizarding world, we're still a little old school with our laws. For Draco to be able to claim the children as his heir Draco and Harkin have to be married before they are born. It would be different if he were making a will and didn't have an heir. Say Sirius died, he could leave everything to Harkin because she's his goddaughter, though he would probably have to change it now that Harry changed her name legally." Remus explained.

"That's barbaric!" Hermione exclaimed.

"I never said it wasn't. It is just like how if Harry was still a boy she wouldn't be able to marry Draco, but would be acceptable if Draco married a woman and saw Harry on the side." Remus explained farther.

"No, I take it back; that is barbaric." Hermione stated.

"I agree." Harkin stated as she looked at Draco.

"What? When I first approached you, this is not what I had planned. Yes, I fancied you, but I never expected this to happen. I originally just wanted your help with getting rid of the Dark Lord and making sure Mother and I made it out alive and not in Azkaban. This just kind of happened, and that also doesn't mean that I wouldn't have asked you out when you were a guy, because I might have, eventually. I honestly don't know what would have happened because it didn't happen this did." Draco defended himself.

"I actually was wondering your opinion on these laws, but your defence is sound." Harkin smiled as she leaned in and kissed Draco's lips.

"Why not your father?" Remus asked.

"I'm sorry"? Draco questioned.

"In your explanation, you said, '…and making sure mother and I made it out alive and not in Azkaban…' Why not your father?" Remus clarified.

"Because it is my father's fault that that madman was brought into our lives like he was. That bastard could go to Azkaban and I wouldn't care."

"Well, that is the reason your father won't be joining us for dinner in the foreseeable future." Narcissa said as she walked back into the room. "And I have sent the letter to Theo. I think we will hear his reply shortly."

"Father is in Azkaban. Why?"

"He is the one responsible for your aunt getting a hold of your fiancée."

"What?" Harkin exclaimed. "But we've been extremely civil."

"Yes, I am aware, but Lucius very much doesn't like it when plans do not go his way, and the fact that Bella could get a hold of Remus on her own gave away that Lucius was involved. I could not let him get away with harming our family." Narcissa stated.

"Really?" Harkin questioned.

"Yes, no matter how unnatural and unconventional your pregnancy is, I think of those children inside you as my grandchildren." Narcissa explained.

"I don't know what to say." Harkin muttered as she stared at the sheets covering her nearly naked form.

"Can everyone leave? I feel Miss Potter needs time to recuperate and stress is not good for her healing process." Mel stated.

"Yes, I agree with Mel. Anyone who does not sleep in this room; either go to your own room or have one of the house elves prepare you a room." Narcissa stated as she stood up and started escorting people from the room. Everyone else took the hint and started removing themselves from the room muttering their good nights as they left the room. Mel and Narcissa were the only ones left in the room, and Harkin was getting a little nervous.

"What's going on?" Harkin asked.

"Now that Lucius is in Azkaban, Draco is the head of the Malfoy family. I have ensured our safety with the Aurors; stating that we weren't involved with Lucius' and Bella's actions. They also are working with my new solicitor in getting all of the Malfoy accounts transferred into your name instead of your father's, which you and I will be going through and seeing which ones we want to keep. I will also have to go through the house and vaults with the elves help to collect all of the dark objects and turn them over to the Aurors."

"Yes, Mother." Draco said with a quick nod. "What does this mean for Harkin?" he asked.

"Nothing has changed in my plan. I still see her and the twins she is carrying as my family. You will get married over Easter break like we planned, and she will be living here legally. Along with Theo if that is alright with both of you?" Narcissa stated.

"Theo is alright; I don't blame him for anything that happened to me." Harkin stated.

"As long as he doesn't do any harm to Harkin or the babies, I don't care, which I don't foresee happening." Draco stated.

"Good, I'm adopting him since his father is in Azkaban as well." Narcissa said as she walked towards the door. "Sleep well, both of you." she finished before walking out the door.

"Your mother is a scary woman when she wants to be." Melody stated.

"You have no idea." Draco muttered.

"Anyway. I will be back daily to do a quick check up until you head back to school then it will be weekly. Understood?" Melody said.

"Unfortunately. Thank you, Mel for everything." Harkin stated.

"Not a problem. Narcissa is my best friend. Her family is mine." Melody stated. "Good night." She said as she walked out of the room.

"Night." Harkin whispered as Mel walked out of the room, and then Harkin laid down fully in the bed, and Draco did the same, wrapping himself around her.

"I'm glad you're all safe." Draco whispered.

"Me, too." Harkin whispered before falling asleep.
