Chapter: Prologue
Coruscant, also known as the Imperial Center to its occupants, was the beating heart of the mighty Galactic Empire. Since the end of the Clone Wars, the economy has boomed and was truly entering into what historians called another galactic wide golden age that has not been experienced since the High Republic era. Since the death of the traitorous Jedi, crime on all Imperial ruled worlds has dropped to an all-time low with the highly trained stormtroopers keeping true order in the region. Since the fall of the despicable and villainous Izini Nation, no attack has been laid on this beautiful planet or any others with the always dutiful ISB agents keeping a watchful eye on all possible foes that may be lurking in the shadows.
All these accomplishments and more would have never been achieved if it were not for their humble savior, Emperor Sheev Palpatine.
At least, that was what she made the public believe. Spreading such narrative was child's play for someone of her skill.
A steady beeping noise filled the large empty office. The mysterious woman moved to her terminal and pressed the button to allow the incoming transmission.
"Yes?"
"Director, I wished to inform you that everything is going as you instructed. The brutes are in play."
She grinned at the delightful news. "Thank you for the update, Jones. You may take tomorrow off."
"Thank you for your generosity, Director."
The transmission ended. The woman turned to face the window, admiring the beautiful cityscape of Coruscant as the Sun set at the horizon. She could see multiple imperial speeders zoomed by her building, converging at a distant supply depot, their spotlights on, hunting for a special someone who was causing quite a ruckus.
"It seems phase one is underway."
Author's Note: I hope you enjoy this tidbit from the prologue of the sequel of Dooku's Son. I uploaded this so that you all will know that the sequel is officially out. Coquer's Daughter will be under Star Wars: Rebels. The status of the next chapter of the sequel will be on my profile.
