A swarm of magical ladybugs shot up into the sky with a swirl and turned into flour. Ladybug lifted her arms to catch it. Kitty Noir watched as it fell into her arms. His eyes widened as tiny ladybugs enveloped her suit as well, spinning around her as her suit changed forms.
"A bag of flour? What am I supposed to do with this?" She said as it flopped into her arms.
"Whoa! Hey! Y-your cost-" Chat began.
"Meow-lady your costume changed!" Chat threw a paw in her direction.
She looked down at herself. "Woahhh you're right!" She now wore a pair of spotted boots and spotted sleeves that came over her chest. Black material cut through the middle in a sort of v-neck and along her back and legs. Her mask had a stripe of black on the bottom as well. She had wing-like protrusions off her shoulders similar to her hair ties.
"I knew it! It was a power-up! You never cease to a-meow-ze me," Chat smiled at his lady.
"I don't really feel any different though," Ladybug blushed.
"Nonsense! You're radiant! Hey, check your yo-yo fur updates!" Chat exclaimed.
"Oh yeah!" She held the bag of flour in one arm while she pulled the yo-yo out and it beeped a few times as she flipped through the options.
"Sweet macaron!" She gasped at it.
"What?! What is it?" Chat asked worriedly.
Ladybug smirked as an idea popped into mind. The flour and Chat lighting up in polka dots in her vision along with her newly transformed yo-yo. She chuckled to herself earning a confused look from Chat.
"Oh, I'll tell you what it is. I know exactly how we're gonna beat Catastrophe!" Ladybug squatted down and showed him the screen.
"New abilities... " he read off the screen. "Woahhhh lucky!" His eyes lit up.
"Yup! And now it's time to put these new abilities to the test and put this flour to good use!"
"I guess it's my time to shine… again," Chat sulked as he knew what was coming.
Ladybug set the bag down next to the dumpster and cut it open. "Don't look," Chat stomped over to the flour as she turned away giggling. He rolled in the flour, sneezing as it got into his nose. He meowed, letting Ladybug know she could turn around.
She giggled for a moment, as he glared at her. "Come on out kitty."
"It's way too embarr-hissing…" he pouted.
She smiled, holding out a hand for him. "Ahh come on. It's okay! I won't take my eyes off you for a second, so don't be nervous."
Chat stepped out with his ringed paw. His whole body was covered in white, masking his identity. "It's the fact that you're watching that makes me nervous…" Chat avoided her gaze.
"Don't be! I'm not judging! Besides, you're looking really cute with your disguise, so you'll have no issue getting her to gawk over you again," She patted his head, flour flying off it in puffs.
"Woowww thanks for the pep talk," Kitty Noir meowed sarcastically.
"Don't mention it! Now get into position. Let's hit them with the surprise of a lifetime."
"Yes ma'am!" Chat threw his paw into the air. Ladybug moved into position, jumping on top of a roof, peaking over to watch Chat.
"Watch out Hawkmoth! You haven't seen Ladybug and Chat Noir in action just yet!" She hyped herself up.
The villain walked down the street calling out for her lost kitten. "Raisin! Come home, buddy!" She cupped her hands over her mouth like a megaphone. A sudden appearance of a cat caught her attention. Chat walked on the sidewalk in front of her, meowing loudly to catch her attention.
"Kitty!" She smiled excitedly before Hawkmoth cut her off.
"Don't even think about it, Catastrophe! This could be another trap!" Hawkmoth tried to warn her.
"Ok. But first of all, the bad kitty was Chat Noir, not Chat Blanc,"
"But-" She shooed him away with the wave of her hand.
"Second of all, have you forgotten who you're talking to? If there's trouble again I'll just flash my new fangs," she scoffed.
She ran forward, arms at the ready to pick up the kitten. "Hey, sweetie! come to momma!" Catastrophe lifted him into the air, gushing over him. She had yet to notice the flour dusting off of him and into the air. It got on her clothes as well but she was so engrossed in his cuteness she didn't notice.
"Now's your chance meow-lady!" Chat turned to his partner.
"Meow-who?" the villain asked confused. Hawkmoth watched from his lair, face-palming himself. He wished he could tell her "I told you so". At this point, he didn't even want to watch anymore.
"Here goes nothing," Ladybug swung her yo-yo with a determined smirk, spinning it in front of her before clasping the top and bottom.
"Miraculous yo-yo…" She twisted them and a flash of red light came from between them as they separated with a pop.
"Two-Handed Loops!" She wielded two yo-yos now.
