Everything going on right now is definitelt hectic and stressful, but I hope this chapter can at least ease the stress for a while.

Chris looked excited as he prepared to give the intro, Chef remained vigilant on piloting the plane but looked just a little excited as well.

"Last time on Total Drama World Tour, our trip around the world took us to the land down under! Where we had the chance to enjoy the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef and the nice clean air! Well, Chef and I got to admire it anyway! We debated if we should include some authentic Australian wildlife like Dingos or Cassowaries but we didn't want to get sued in case the worst case scenario happened. So instead, the six contestants took to the reef to search for keys that they would use to then take to the sky and fly to Ayers Rock. Gary continues to prove that nothing is beneath him as he tried to take another contestant's life."

"Aww thanks, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me!"

Gary had entered the cockpit, a large grin on his face and some papers in his hand.

"What are you doing in here?" Chris asked. "We're in the middle of the intro."

"I need to talk to you about something important. This issue is affecting everyone on the plane, including yourself. Scratch that, this is about getting justice for you and your property!"

Chris's face became serious and intrigued at Gary's proposal.

"Alright. I'll hear you out after I finish the intro, and don't interrupt me ever again!" Chris said, his tone was serious enough that even Chef looked wary. Gary politely nodded and stepped back.

"As I was saying, Gary'a target was Dutch." Gary smirked at the mention of his latest victim. "While he was thankfully able to survive the challenge with no injuries, he wasn't able to escape the sudden death elimination that came with coming in last place. We're coming down to the wire as we are left with our final five contestants! Can Viola keep everything together? Who Will be Gary's next target?"

"Oh you'll see!"

"Will Johan and Ciana get lost in the shuffle, or can they pull through and overcome the odds? Find out on tonight's exciting episode of Total Drama World Tour!"

Once the intro to the episode was over, Chris set up a table for Gary and himself.

"So, what is so important that you thought it warranted interrupting the intro?"

"Well, you said yourself before our challenge in London that every challenge would get increasingly more difficult because of someone stealing your wine. What if I said I found out who took it."

Chris glanced at Chef, who glanced back at him for a moment before focusing on the plane again. He looked calm, yet also firm.

"If it turns out a contestant is guilty, then I can disqualify them from the game. If it was an intern, I'm within my rights to press legal charges since they're under contract as an employee of the network."

"I see." Gary replied. "Then I can go on to my next point."

Gary handed Chris the papers that the former had brought with him. Upon further inspection, Chris saw that they were contracts.

"I know exactly who's guilty of taking your property, the contracts are just a written agreement stating that for my service, I will be granted immunity from today's challenge and receive twenty percent of the prize money."

The contracts looked legitimate enough as Chris read them over, as he finished he gave Gary a look.

"I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but Chef here is a lot smarter than he looks. Believe it or not, he has a Bachelor's Degree in Law."

Chris handed Chef the contracts, the two switched places so that Chef could study the paperwork. Chef grunted when he finished scanning the contracts and gave Gary a glare.

"The kid's good. These are pretty legit."

"You're not the only one with an interest in law, I come from a long line of lawyers and judges who are just as competent as the legal team of your show. How do you think I was able to get on this show anyway?" Gary said, the smile on his face looking as smug as Chris', if not more.

"Nonetheless I can't just give you part of the prize money for this, nor can I just disqualify or press charges against someone without hearing their side of the story. So I will not sign your contract. BUT I will see to it that this is handled today. All I need you to do is tell me who did it." Chris explained.

Gary looked rather annoyed that his plan was not as successful as he had hoped but he would at least make a big step in progress.

*confessionals*

Gary: Well that may not have gone as perfectly as I had preferred but I was able to say everything I needed to say for the time being. I wanted to give my evidence but Chris told me to save it for later. Either way, I can get rid the biggest threat possible.

Chef: I don't like that smug kid. He's good. Too good at his age. If that kid tackles politics then there could be a problem.

Chris: The wine that started this whole fiasco was already replaced but I can't really let these kids know that. Besides, the ratings for this episode could be insane!

*end confessionals*

The rest of the final five were simply sitting in the Economy Class section of the plane. All was silent among the four teens; Ciana and Johan were listening to music while Viola sat and looked out a window at the clouds below them. Hayden looked like he was in some sort of trance but his body language made him look as though he was fine.

In his mind Hayden was in a blank field, a light fog filling the air. As Hayden looked around the fog he saw a glowing light coming from above, once he saw it, a path seemed to materialize in front of him, the path seemed to head upwards and onto some sort of mountain. As he began to follow it, he was jolted back to reality by the sound of the intercom.

"Attention everyone, we're coming up on our next destination. But there's also something important to address, so I need the interns too."

Ruby and the twins, who were in their room, looked rather confused to hear that Chris needed to see them before the challenge.

*confessionals*

Viola: Since Dutch isn't in the game anymore I've decided that I can't show any mercy anymore. I may be working with Johan and Hayden but in the end they're still playing for the money, and so am I!

Ciana: I figure this is gonna be another sudden death challenge, if Gary wins then I gotta hope I cana at least take out Viola, aside from me she's the toughest person left.

Hayden: I can't explain it, but I have this weird feeling that something bad is about to happen. Like everything might be coming together soon.

Johan: If you told me a year ago that i'd be one of the final five on Total Drama i would've called you crazy. These spots are usually reserved for some of the toughest and most strategic in the game. I say usually because I honestly don't think I'm on par with some of the others like Dutch, Michael, Briar, Sylvain, and others. But despite all that though, I'm here now and I have the chance of a lifetime. I'm going to do everything I can to take advantage of it!

*end confessionals*

The air was warm but comfortable where the plane landed. All ten people remaining on the plane stepped onto the base of what resembled a castle, at least from the view they had of it.

"Welcome to Beijing, China." Chris said, his usual enthusiasm not present. "Before I explain today's challenge I'd like to make an announcement; earlier this season a bottle of wine that belonged to Chef and myself was taken, because of this I made every challenge an automatic elimination. It's come to my attention that the person responsible for this has been found. Now, I may be a jerk but I'm not heartless. I'll hold a trial, if I find the person truly guilty then I can press criminal charges against them, if they're innocent then we can forget this whole thing ever happened."

"So who did it?" Johan asked. The rest of the teens aside from Gary either wondered the same or couldn't care less.

"I wonder who..." Gary said calmly. "What do you think, Ruby?"

Everyone stared at Ruby. Amy and Sammy looked shocked, with the latter even gasping in shock; Ciana and Johan looked skeptical; Viola and Hayden both looked offended that Gary would accuse Ruby but this was nothing compared to how Ruby herself felt.

"W-what?! Are you accusing me?!"

Her tone was one of shock, horror, and heartbreak.

"I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm simply telling the truth." Gary replied.

"And how do you know she's guilty of anything other than falling for your sorry butt?" Viola asked, she got right up in Gary's face as she asked her question and poked him square in the chest. Her eyes locked on his with a fierce determination and sense of hatred.

"Oh, believe me, I have my evidence..." Gary responded pridefully. Ruby stood with her mouth agape as she could feel tears welling up in her eyes.

"And you can present that evidence inside." Chris stated. "Seems like we have both a plaintiff and a defendant as well."

"I'd like to help defend Ruby as well!" Hayden announced suddenly, surprising the others.

"Hmm... I'll allow it if the girls do." Chris shrugged as he looked over to Viola and Ruby.

"Why do you-" Hayden cut Viola off before she could finish.

"Because we both know she's innocent, and we could take Gary down!"

"...Fine." Viola relented.

"Then it's settled." Chris announced. "We'll hold a trial for Ruby's innocence in the Elimination Chamber."

"So there's no challenge then?" Ciana asked.

"I didn't say that. Since I'll be busy, Chef will be in charge of the challenge. Since Viola, Gary, and Hayden will be busy, it'll be Ciana against Johan in a one on one challenge. Since we're in China, it only seems fitting that we visit the most famous Chinese landmark, the Great Wall. Now we weren't able to use the entire wall for our challenge, but we rented out just enough to make today's challenge interesting." Chris began.

"Originally it was meant to be a simple race with the occasional distraction from your's truly. But now Chef is handling this challenge, and I think he might need a little help, so Amy and Samey will be helping him!"

"It's Sammy!" The twins said simultaneously, sharing a smile with each other when Sammy noticed her sister stood up for her.

"Whatever, so in short, you two will race to the finish line and avoid whatever Chef and the twins can throw at you."

"Fine with me, I can handle anything Chef can do!" Ciana assured confidently.

"Oh, we'll see!" Chef laughed.

"I'll leave you all to it then. The rest of you, inside." Chris announced. The two respective groups parted ways, with Ruby still stunned and trying to comprehend everything that just happened.

*confessionals*

Ciana: I didn't expect any of that. But it don't involve me so I'll hang back and see what happens with it. Right now I just gotta beat Johan which shouldn't be that hard. The guy's got spirit but I'm stronger than him!

Johan: I'm not sure why Gary accused Ruby of all people, I thought they were dating? Regardless, if Viola is helping Ruby then I'm sure they can get everything sorted out.

Hayden: If he wants to win so badly why would he target his own girlfriend?! Whatever, I'll see to it that Ruby is proven innocent!

Gary: A trial? That was his plan? It doesn't make a difference though, I have everything I need to make this work. Once Ruby's out if the picture, what's left of Viola's mental state will be broken and she'll be easy pickings! Once she's gone I can handle Ciana, who's as dumb as a rock.

Viola: Gary has made many mistakes so far in this game, but doing this to Ruby is the last straw! Even if she's lost herself by dating him, she's still my best friend and I intend to help her!

Amy: I didn't think Ruby would ever do something like this? Something doesn't seem right about this...

Sammy: I can't believe Amy actually stood up for me like that! It's been great having her act like a sister! But more importantly, I don't think Ruby is guilty at all, she's too nice of a girl.

Chris: I figured a trial would be the most fair and entertaining way to settle this. Plus it gives me a chance to try out this new outfit I picked up back in France. ... Hey, the kids aren't the only ones doing some shopping!

Chef: I told Chris I could be the judge since I have a J.D. but he insisted I take care of the challenge today. But hey, putting those two in a world of pain is gonna be fun!

*end confessionals*

Chris personally set up the Chamber to resemble a court as best as he could, though it wasnt much. All he felt he needed were two tables, one fkr Gary, and the other for Viola and Hayden. Chris stood at his podium and Ruby was locked in a cage that was large enough for her to stand in.

Chris wore a rather fancy black suit with a navy blue dress shirt underneath along with high end dress pants and dress shoes that were perfectly polished. He also wore a judge's robe that was black and gold in color. While everything he wore seemed a bit excessive, this was nothing compared to a powdered white wig he wore that resembled those of the American Founding Father's.

"Very professional." Hayden mocked.

"Hey, this is the best we had! Did you think I expected any of this to happen this season?!" Chris retorted. "Anyway, since the others are doing the challenge and we can't really afford to do a voir dire to gather a jury, I'll act as both the judge and the jury. Now this is far from an actual official court, but if Ruby is found guilty, the network and I are liable to press criminal charges if we choose to do so. But about this trial, here's how it'll work. Gary will present his evidence first and then Viola and Hayden will provide any evidence they have to the contrary. Since this was all on short notice I'll give you some time to gather as much evidence as you are able to gather any evidence you have, about five minutes should be enough. Once those five minutes are up, come back here and we can begin." Chris explained.

"Why not just check the recorded footage? Aren't there cameras everywhere?!" Viola questioned.

"There are, but all the footage is sent directly to the network. We don't have any physical tapes on this plane, at least none that I'm aware of."

Gary tried his best not to smile, knowing that everything was going his way and more.

With one last sigh from Viola, the three teens left, with the Defense team not knowing where to begin, so for the time being they headed for the cargo hold.

"So how can we help Ruby?" Viola asked.

"You're asking me?"

"You offered to help, besides lawyers are supposed to be smart and in some cases, conniving and tricky, which describes you pretty well."

"I'll take that as a compliment. Now here's the problem, what evidence do we have to show Ruby's innocent and what evidence can we find that can help her?"

"So then what do you suggest we do?" Viola asked in an increasingly annoyed tone.

"Gary's claim can't be flawless. Whatever he uses as evidence, we have to find a way to discredit it."

"Fine... Let's just do our best then." Viola sighed.

"That's all anyone can do, isn't it?"

*confessionals*

Viola: I never thought I'd see the day Hayden and I would ever work together, to help Ruby no less. But I still don't like or trust him.

Hayden: This is gonna be quite an experience. It won't be easy but if this worls out then we could even get Gary voted out.

*end confessionals*

The three teens returned to the 'courtroom' with Chris looking at himself using a mirror.

"Y'know I really should wear black more often, it suits me. Don't you think, Ruby?"

Ruby didn't respond, she simply sat in an almost catatonic state until she saw the contestants enter the room. Gary continued to look calm and confident with a burlap sack at his side while Viola and Hayden were stoic and a bit anxious.

"Alright. Looks like everyone's ready to start. Gary, if you'd be so kind as present your evidence." Chris announced.

"Of course, Your Honor."

"'Your Honor', I like that." Chris chimed.

"During the night following our challenge in Dubai, your bottle of alcohol was tampered with. With the evidence I've gathered I fully believe that Ruby is responsible for this!" Gary began, he reached into his bag and pulled out the bottle in question, making sure to show off the lipstick stained into the glass.

"This bottle that I have here has been stained by a certain accessory and with the evidence I've gathered, I fully believe Ruby is responsible!" Gary explained.

"What?!" Ruby exclaimed. "What's this all about?! Did I do something to hurt you?!"

"Hey, the suspect isn't allowed to speak during the trial unless they are being questioned!" Chris warned.

"Thank you, now as I was saying, Ruby is guilty and it makes perfect sense that she would as well."

"Pardon the interruption, 'Your Honor', but I object to that statement. In what way does Ruby doing this make sense?" Viola asked, a dead look began to form on Hayden's face as though he was not mentally there.

"With how much everyone, especially those that have been around since the first season, dislike Chris, it makes sense for everyone to try to mock or get back at him for him tormenting you. Remember the second season? During the finale, you all played embarrassing clips of Chris when he wasn't around."

"Oh, I remember that far too well..." Chris groaned.

"Well then I'm sure you understand that she has a motivation to do this to you."

"A little help here..." Viola whispered to Hayden, who was still catatonic. "Ugh..."

*confessionals*

Viola: I'm not going to give up defending Ruby, I need to think fast! Though I wonder what's up with Hayden, you can't just offer to help and then just sit there and do nothing!

Gary: This is easier than I thought it would be, that's sad since I figured those two would put up more of a fight!

*end confessionals*

As the trial was beginning, Ciana and Johan began their challenge. The two were running along the Wall with the former having the lead.

Ciana slowed down a bit when the two encpuntered their first roadblock: an obstacle course set up by Chef. Due to the short amount of time he had it looked rather crude but effective. It began with a crawl under barbed wires, a ladder climb over a pool of snapping turtles that jumped rather high despite their size, and a rock wall.

Ciana wasted no time in crawling under the wires with Johan right behind her. Despite the two being scraped and scratched by the sharp wires, they ultimately made it across.

"You doing alright there, Ciana?" Johan asked.

"Don't worry about me, we're against each other right now."

As they climbed the ladders and started going across the pond, the two were attacked by the leaping turtles. Johan stopped at a few points to make sure he wasn't bitten. Ciana however was bitten on her legs, left foot, and even her elbow! But despite the stragglers, Ciana kept moving without slowing down.

Even after taking the time to pry off the turtles, Ciana was still ahead as she made her way to the 3rd obstacle: the rock wall. With a quick crack of her knuckles, the young woman began to climb the wall. The musician managed to catch up and begin climbing up after her.

"Hey Ciana..." Johan said, running out if breath from just trying to keep up. "We can work together you know. We're all trying to get rid of Gary, aren't we?"

"I want him gone." Ciana replied as she reached the top of the wall. "But I don't need help to beat him, that f*ck is gonna kiss my fist right before he drops from that plane and I can beat him by myself!"

Once Ciana was halfway down the wall, she simply jumped down and ran onward. Suddenly, the spund of a helicopter filled the air. Amy flew over Ciana in a small pink helicopter that had two cannons at its sides amd was small enough for just her to sit in.

"Aww, was that too easy for you?" She taunted. "Well why don't we change that!"

Amy pressed a button on the controls, which fired a rather large stone at Ciana. Ciana avoided the stone, which shattered on impact and left small pebbles everywhere but left Ciana unharmed.

"That's definitely gonna leave a mark if it hits." Johan said as he caught up.

"Then don't get hit." Ciana said as she dashed along the path. She avoided any shots Amy made, Johan tried to follow her but with how much energy he was using just to catch up, he was barely able to avoid the onslaught.

*confessionals*

Ciana: I get why Johan wants me to help him, but that goody-goody teamwork bullsh*t doesn't sit well with me. I'd rather win on my own.

Johan: I'm pretty sure Ciana has the challenge won, I just hope I can get her to help the us all beat Gary.

Amy: This might just be the most fun I've had all season! These rocks are hard enough to hurt but thankfully not enough to kill. I appreciate everyone here for helping me cool down a bit and start get along with my sister but that doesn't mean I'm some angel now that can do no wrong. I'm still Amy, and I'll kick some butt if I have to!

*end confessionals*

Back on the plane, Viola was nudging Hayden's side in an attempt to wake him up.

"Come on Hayden, this isn't the time to go back to bed!" She whispered harshly.

"Hello?" Chris called out. "Any word from the defense?"

"O-oh, right!" Viola responded. "Well, how about this; Gary hasn't exactly shown any solid evidence, just a possible motive that's essentially just hearsay."

"Oh, is that so? Then how about this?" Gary announced as he pulled out a stick of lipstick from his bag. "This is the lipstick that was used in this crime and it belongs to Ruby! And if you want proof of that too, it even has her name on it! No doubt she had it engraved when she bought it using the prize money she won in the last season!"

"Huh? I thought Ruby used that money to go to school?" Viola questioned.

"Wait a sec!" Ruby callled out. "Let me see-"

Chris began pounding the podium with a gavel he brought.

"We'll have no more interruptions, thank you very much! Gary, do you have anything else you'd like to add?"

"Not for the moment." Gary leaned back in his chair, satisfied with what he had done.

"And what about the defense team?"

Viola looked conflicted, all the information that had just been revealed took a toll on her. She looked at Hayden, who was still in his trance.

"Then I'd say we can take a short break." Chris announced.

"Why?" Gary asked. "Pretty sure we've pretty much reached a verdict here."

"This is a chance for you to gather any more evidence. Besides, I'm hungry and I need to check up on Chef and the others. I'll see you in ten."

*confessionals*

Gary: At this point I'm positive Chris is just milking this whole trial thing for all its worth for the ratings. I've already won.

Viola: I'm not even sure how to react at this point. I've talked to Ruby after season two and she said she was going to college but maybe she did use some of that money on herself. Her motivation for doing it makes sense too... No... No, Gary is just trying to mess with me!

*end confessionals*

Hayden found himself following the path that appeared to him in his vision earlier. When he made his way further up the mountain, the light fog began to turn into a more golden color. He could also hear a voice calling out to him. What it was saying however, he couldnt hear.

As he continued, a sudden flash of bright light envoloped him. He thought he saw the bar of the plane, though it was void of color except for one thing: a button underneath the counter that was glowing a golden color.

Hayden then suddenly jumped up, now out of his trance.

"Good morning sunshine." Gary laughed.

Hayden didn't respond, he had a confused face for a moment before it changed to one of determination. He left the room, Viola watched him with a surprised look at how he was now moving again.

"Oh so now you're awake?!" She called out, though he ignored her. Viola followed Hayden to the bar, where she watched him check around it.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"There's something here." He said. "I can't explain it but something showed me that there's some kind of secret here."

Hayden then found the button that he saw in his vision. Once he pressed it, a part of the bar sank back into the wall and slid to the side, revealing a secret room full of tv screens.

"What the hell is this...?" Hayden asked.

Viola couldn't answer even if she wanted to. Then she remembered what Chris told her earlier about the older footage. She sat down in front of the cameras and tried to look at the footage of the night after the challenge in Dubai...

Amy eventually flew away from Ciana and Johan, with the two approaching a sign next to a set of stairs that were connected to a large glass tank with some sort of cream colored substance.

"To advance in the challenge, you must run across this pool of custard. It's solid enough for you to run along it, but go too slowly and you'll sink." Johan read.

"Gross. But not enough for me to stop!" Ciana proclaimed. She ran up the stairs amd onto the custard, almost immediately she felt her feet beginning to sink. She tried to move in order to free herself though she was only managing to move upwards and out of the custard rather than forward and towards the goal.

Johan watched Ciana struggle and was hesitant to continue but ultimately decided to run onto the custard as well. After seeing how Ciana fared, Johan ran using lighter steps so that he wouldn't put to much pressure on the dessert and cause himself to sink, allowing him to tale the lead and frustrate Ciana.

"Oh you did not just do that! Get back here Twinkletoes!" She shouted as she hurried to catch up to Johan.

It took a bit of time for them to overcome their viscous obstacle, but Johan was the first to cross the pond and advance, but despite gaining the lead, Ciana was right on his tail.

The familiar sound of a helicopter approached the two. This time however it was Sammy in a light blue copter that was similar to Amy's with cannons that were similar as well.

"Sorry guys, but I have to do my job." Sammy announced as she fired blobs of some sort of sticky substance at the duo.

"Do I even want to know what this stuff is?!" Ciana yelled.

"Don't worry, it's a mix of molasses, honey, and tree sap!" Sammy assured. "It's gross but you'll be fine if it hits you, and it won't stain either."

As Sammy continued to slow the two contestants down, Chef stood by his own green helicopter by the finish line. His copter had miniguns rather than cannons and even a military soldier bobble-head by the controls. Just as Chef was about to start it though, he got a phone call.

"Talk to me... Yeah things are going fine over here, what about you?... Uh-huh... Well it's a shame this had to happen but if she did it then you gotta do what you gotta do... That musician boy's ahead right now but you know that rapper chick ain't gonna go down without a fight. Anyway, I'm gonna go mess with them, see you in a bit."

As he hung up, Chef started his helicopter and flew towards the two teens.

*confessionals*

Ciana: I cannot let that boy win! No hard feelings, it's just business! In a game like this, only the strong can survive!

Johan: I didn't expect to take the lead from Ciana, even for a second. But at this point, too many stranger things have happened. Heck, this whole day is bizarre, and for everything that's happened on this show in the past three seasons, thats saying something in my opinion!

Sammy: I kinda feel a bit bad for saying this but that was so much fun! It makes me wonder how far I could go if I was competing.

Chef: Honestly I got over the whole wine thing ages ago, but you know Chris, he can be petty sometimes. Still, I am a bit curious as to how everything's playing out over there.

*end confessionals*

Back in the Elimination Chamber, Chris had returned to his position behind his podium. Gary was still smug but he was also growing impatient.

"Alright Chris, you're back now can we please just end this already?!"

"Yeah... Just...just end it like you decided to end our relationship!" Ruby cried.

"Let's not start with this." Gary groaned, rolling his eyes as Ruby's heartbroken expression was worsened by Gary's indifference.

"Oooh, I'm liking this tension we have here! But we do have to wait for Viola and Hayden, it's only fair."

"When have you ever been a fair person? Be honest now." Gary asked.

"We could all ask you that same question!" Hayden announced as he and Viola rushed into the room with looks of anger and a renewed motivation.

"Are you really the person to be saying those things? After everything you've done since the very start of this series?!" Gary responded, finally showing a change in emotion as he began to grow frustrated at his rival.

"I've changed..." Hayden said, Chris then took out a remote from his pocket and pressed a button on it, activating the Song Alarm.

"Did you think I forgot about the song rule during this whole ordeal? At a moment like this, it would be a bad move not to do it! Boys, take it away!"

Song #42

Both: I'm only human

I'm only, I'm only

I'm only human, human

Hayden: Maybe I'm foolish

Maybe I'm blind

Thinking I can see through this

And see what's behind

Got no way to prove it

So maybe I'm blind

But I'm only human after all

I'm only human after all

Don't put your blame on me

Don't put your blame on me...

Gary: Take a look in the mirror

What do you see

Do you see it clearer

Or are you deceived

In what you believe

'Cause I'm only human after all

You're only human after all

Don't put your blame on me

Don't put your blame on me...

Both: Some people got the real problems

Some people out of luck

Some people think I can solve them

Lord heavens above

I'm only human after all

I'm only human after all

Don't put your blame on me

Don't put your blame on me...

Gary: Don't ask my opinion

Dont ask me to lie

Then beg for forgiveness

For making you cry

Making you cry

'Cause I'm only human after all

I'm only human after all

Don't put your blame on me

Don't put the blame on me...

Both: Oh, some people got the real problems

Some people out of luck

Some people think I can solve them

Lord heavens above

I'm only human after all

I'm only human after all

Don't put your blame on me

Don't put the blame on me...

I'm only human

I make mistakes

I'm only human

That's all it takes

To put the blame on me

Don't put the blame on me...

Hayden: I'm no prophet or Messiah

Should go looking somewhere higher

I'm only human after all

I'm only human after all

Don't put the blame on me

Don't put the blame on me...

Both: I'm only human

I do what I can

I'm just a man

I do what I can

Don't put the blame on me...

Don't put your blame on me...

Chris applauded the two boys, satisfied for the time being.

"Excellent work, gentlemen! Now we can get back to business. With that big entrance you two did I'm assuming you've found something?"

"Indeed we have, Your Highness!" Viola said, not taking her eyes off of Gary for a second.

"We found this!" Hayden added, showing everyone a cd. "This right here is video evidence that Ruby is innocent!"

"What?!" Gary hollered beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

"Wait... How? All our camera footage gets sent directly to the network. There's no way you could get any kind of footage."

"We'll explain everything when this is over. Right now, you have to see what's on here!" Viola assured.

Chris stood for a moment in pure bewilderment before straightening himself out and getting a rather large tv set with a dvd player from a set of boxes behind him.

"I saved these in case we ran out of the peanuts we use to use as immunity symbols or if I ever wanted to increase the drama." Chris explained, now curious as to what was about to happen.

Gary silently steamed with rage and worry as Chris inserted the DVD into the player.

*confessionals*

Viola: It's over, Gary is finished!

Hayden: We have the evidence that Ruby is innocent... But Viola ran away with the DVD before we could try burning any evidence of Gary with the crystal onto it. I know he has it and all we need is a picture or even a short clip! Chris will probably let us use the camera room after this though so it's no big deal.

Gary: Urgh what the hell! I could have sworn I made sure to avoid all the cameras while doing that! Even then, Chris said that all footage is sent to the network directly! I never should have trusted that giant f*cking turd of a man! Now those m*****f****** are gonna ruin everything... If they really did get footage of me... Then for the time being I have to make sure Chris honored the contract. He may habe thrown me a curveball with this trial but if he honors the contract then I'm good!

Chris: Alright, I know I'm not exactly the most honest guy around, but I'm being one hundred percent sincere when I say that I have no idea where they got that footage from. The network told me that any footage from the show gets sent to them wirelessly and that we dont need to send in any tapes like we did for the older seasons. If there are any secrets on this plane that I was never aware of, it was because my bosses never showed them to me when they showed me around the plane. Don't get me wrong though, I'm fascinated to see where this could lead!

Johan ran ahead as far as he could before he heard the now all too familiar sound of a helicopter. This time however it wasn't just one, but three with Chef now on the attack with the twins together.

"Not bad, maggot! But you ain't gettin' past us now! Hehehehehe!" Chef laughed as he began to fire his guns at Johan.

"What the hell?" He screamed as he avoided the attack, as he looked at the spot where he had just been standing he noticed something odd: Chef's bullets seemed to be some kind of meatball. They seemed to be durable enough to cause pain if they hit but small enough to where they couldn't cause any lasting serious injury.

"You snooze you lose!"

Ciana caught up with Johan and overtook him, with Chef now aiming at Ciana instead.

The twins followed Chef's lead and also started aiming at Ciana, as they did Chef took out a remote similar to the one Chris used, which activated another song alarm.

"Are you kidding me?" Ciana groaned.

"Ciana wait!" Johan called out. "We can work together, at least on this!"

"Nuh-uh, I don't need your help with anything. If I'm winning this, I'm doing it alone!"

"Less talking, more singing!" Chef roared.

Song #43

Ciana: This is survival of the fittest

This is do or die

This is the winner takes it all

So take it all, a-all, a-all, a-all

...

Wasn't ready to be a millionaire, i was ill-prepared

I was prepared to be ill though, the skill was there

From the beginning, it wasn't 'bout the ends

It was 'bout busting raps and standing for something, f*ck an acronym

Cut the f*cking act like youre happy, I'm f*cking back again

With another anthem, why stop when it doesn't have to end?

It ain't over 'til I say it's over - enough when I say enough

Throw me to them wolves and close the gate up

When the thought of being thrown i to an alligator pit, I salivate at it

Wait is up, hands up lile its twelve noon, nah, homie

Hold thwm b*tches strighter up, wave 'em 'til you dislocate a rotator cuff

Came up rough, came to ruffle feathers, nah, egos

I ain't deflate enough, last chance to make this whole stadium erupt, cause-

...

This is survival of the fittest

This is do or die

This is the winner takes it all

So take it all, a-all, a-all, a-all

...

I can see the finish line with each line that I finish

I'm so close to my goals I can almost pole vault over the goal post

And if I don't got enough in the tank, maybe I can just siphon enough

To fill up this last can, man will I survive in this climate or what

They said I was washed up, and got a blood bath

I'm not a rapper, I'm an adapter, I can adjust

Plus I can just walk up to a mic and jist just

So floor's open if you'd like to discuss

Top five in this m*thaf*cka and if I don't make the cut

What, like I give a f*ck, I'ma light this b*tch up like im drivin' a truck

To the side of a pump, zero to sixty hop in and gun it

Like G-Unit without the hyphen, I'm hyping 'em up

And if there should ever come a time where my life is a rut

And I look like I might just give up, eh might've mistook

Me for bowing out I ain't taking a bow, I'm stabbing myself

With a f*cking knife in the gut, while I'm wiping my butt

'Cause I just sh*tted on the mic and I like getting cut

I get excited at the sight of my blood, you're in a fight with a nut

'Cause I'ma fight 'til I die or win

Biting the dust it'll just male me angrier, wait

Let me remind you of what got me this far, picture me quittin'

Now draw a circle around it and put a line through it, sl*t

It's survival of what...

...

This is survival of the fittest

This is do or die

This is the winner takes it all

So take it all, a-all, a-all, a-all

So take it all, a-all, a-all, a-all

...

Yeah, so, you get your ideas, stack your ammo

But don't come unless you've come to battle

Now mount up, jump in the saddle

This is it - it's what you eat, sleep, piss and sh*t

Live, breathe, your whole existence just consists of this

Refuse to quit, fuse is it, can't defuse the wick

If you don't do this music sh*t, I'll lose my sh*t

Ain't got sh*t to lose, it's the moment of truth, it's all I know how to do

As soon as I get thrown in a booth, I spit

But my respect is overdue, I'm showin' you the flow no one do

'Cause I don't own no diploma for school, I quit

So there's nothin' for me to fall back on, I know no other trade

So you better trade your f*ckin' mics in for some tool-box-es

'Cause you'll never take my pride from me, it'll have to be pried from me

So pull out your pliers and your screwdrivers!

But I want you to doubt me, I don't want you to buh-lieve

'Cause this is something that I must use to succeed

And if you don't like me then f*ck you!

Self-esteem must be shootin' through the roof

'Cause trust me, I can see why the f*ck I disgust you, I must be

Allergic to failure, 'cause every time I come close to it

I just sneeze, but I just go achoo then a-chieve!

...

This is survival of the fittest

This is do or die

This is the winner takes it all

So take it all, a-all, a-all, a-all

So take it all, a-all, a-all, a-all...

As Ciana rapped, she and Johan avoided anything that Chef and the two sisters fired at them, with Ciana taking the lead as well.

"You know you really do have a natural talent." Chef said.

"Flattery won't get you anywhere!" Ciana replied.

"Nah, he's right!" Amy added. "In fact, I think your rapping rocks!"

With a devious smile, Amy launched another round of boulders at Ciana, with Chef joining her. Ciana struggled a bit more in having to avoid both the bullet seeds and the boulders, but was able to barely get by... Until Chef fired at her feet, causing her to stumble and trip, allowing Amy to take a well aimed shot and hit her abdomen.

Johan thought he heard an audible crack when Ciana was hit and began to grow worried.

"Now, sis!" Amy called out.

"Oh!" Sammy said, blasting Ciana and hitting her left arm with the goop, sticking her to the ground.

Johan went to go help Ciana but she defiantly held up her arm to stop him.

"Don't you dare!" Ciana hissed.

"But you're hurt and I can't just leave you like this!" He replied.

"You have more important things to worry about." Ciana stated, as Johan dodged a rock launched by Amy. "Besides, I don't want or need your help!"

"But you're my friend!"

"And friends help each other, blah blah blah and that other bullsh*t! Just go!"

Johan grimaced as he ran towards the finish line, Ciana looked at her stuck arm and tried to pull it free but she was only able to move her hand. She tried to move the rest of her arm but no matter what she did she risked aggravating her injured abdomen. Thankfully since Ciana was incapacitated, Johan was now the primary target for the three helicopters.

With every second that passed, Ciana could feel the money slipping through her fingers. So with one last deep breath, she stood up and tried to force her arm out of the sticky mixture. With a sickening crack, Ciana had her arm free but the pain it gave her coupled with the lain from her ribs took its toll on her. She clutched her injured arm and ran aa fast as she could towards Johan.

The finish line was quickly coming into view as Johan did his best to avoid the onslaught that was being thrown his way.

"OUT OF THE WAY!" Ciana shouted, quickly catching up as she was still clutching her arm in pain.

Chef noticed the way Ciana was running and his face became serious.

"Hold your fire." He said. The twins looked confused but followed his orders.

Ciana was just about to overtake Johan, who was quickly becoming worn out with how much he was running, but with how much her injuries were affecting her she simply could not run anymore.

Just mere feet from the finish line, Ciana collapsed and Johan crossed first.

"Alright, we have a winner, now let's get her out of here!" Chef announced. He and Amy helped Ciana onto Chef's copter while Johan hopped onto Sammy's as the five of them hurried back to the jet.

*confessionals*

Johan: I didn't think Ciana would go that far to win. She's definitely one of the toughest people I've ever met... I just hope she's not ticked off about what happened.

Ciana: Fine, Johan beat me, but I did everything I could. I just hope Gary gets what's coming to him. Even if I gotta pound him myself! As for how badly I got f*cked up, I get why they had to hit us with that but it doesn't mean I like it...

Amy: Ciana genuinely kept going after getting injured that badly, I'm genuinely impressed! I do feel bad for hitting her in the ribs though.

Sammy: This is my fault! I made her stuck!

Chef: That girl has got grit and a lot of heart, she's definitely earned her place in the top five! Don't know what'll happen to her now though.

*end confessionals*

Everyone participating in the trial watched the footage of Gary sneaking into the interns' room, stealing the lipstick, and using it on the bottle. The footage even showed the act from various angles as well, just to confirm that Gary was guilty.

Chris then turned off the tv and was silent for a moment before he addressed the teens. Ruby was absolutely shocked, Viola and Hayden were angry and confident that Gary would finally be eliminated, Gary himself was furious at the events that were unfolding.

"Well, based on everything I've seen I'd say that this case is completely clear to me. I see no room for misinterpretation of the facts." Chris began, activating the song alarm.

"What?!" Gary hissed. "No... No! This courtroom is a disgrace!" He then turned his attention to Hayden with venom in his eyes. "You amateur! It's your fault I'm in this mess!"

Song #44

Gary: Your story's mere conjecture

Within you I just find

The ramblings of a madman

Who's completely lost his mind!

You grasp at sraws while standing

With a condescending grin

No matter how pathetic

You'll do anything to win...

Viola (and Gary): There are people here who may intimidate you-

(You're bluffing!)

Acting frightening, they could manipulate you (You haven't got a plan)

(You're nothing! You cursed, stupid man!)

The observant though will find

(Like a stubborn, foolish swine)

Both together: They/(You) merely yell and whine

And at last, this case can finally unwind!

Hayden: Some attorneys are dishonest

They'll do anything to win!

But now I know that I will not give in!

And I won't stand for lying and accusing anymore-

I know precisely what I'm fighting for!

Viola looked at Hayden with surprise on her face, but then her face then changed into a more pleased and relieved smile.

Hayden (Viola): I fight for truth

(So stand wholeheartedly)

I fight for justice

(and keep yoir goals in sight)

I fight for everyone

(Continue fighting)

To have a fair chance

(The good fight!)

And when faced with tribulations

(Stand tall...)

I think of my own inspirations-

(Give your all...)

They taught me...

(And firmly...)

To always hold my stance!

(Make your advance!)

Both: We fight for all!

We fight with honor!

And we will mever rest - together we unite!

Forever since the world's creation

Mankind has sought this liberation

So throughout this litigation

As we pursue purification

No matter what the situation

We will fulfill our obligation

For the law's own consecration

For the better of the nation!

For the future of all...

With a pleased and proud smile on his face, Chris was ready to give the verdicr...

"This court finds thw defendant: Ms. Ruby Norman, not guilty!"

Hayden and Viola: We fiiiiight!

Chris opened the cage Ruby was in, giving her the best apologetic look he could muster.

"Sorry for locking you in there, nothing against you, just needed to find out the truth." He said sincerely.

"Why?" Ruby choked, tears now flowing freely down her face. "Why did you do all this?!"

Everyone looked to Gary, who looked like he was in a state of tranquil fury as he sat in silence.

"I thought I could trust you! You said we would split the money when you won! I poured out my heart to you, I... I loved you!"

Gary simply stood up and headed for the door, ignoring Ruby's cries and the threats of Hayden and Viola to stay and listen to her.

"Fine... Just go..." Ruby croaked. "But just answer one question: all of this was set up like you planned for this to happen, I'm not as dumb as you apparently think I am. How long... How long were you planning on dumping me like this?!"

Gary finally turned to look Ruby right in the eyes.

"Since you came here." He said flatly as he left the room. Hayden was considering following him, but he was stopped by something he didn't expect.

"Let him go." Viola said. Hayden looked at her like she was crazy, but then he saw Ruby having an emotional breakdown. Chris watched everything unfold with a straight face before his phone rang. Hayden tried to help Viola in consoling Ruby while Chris answered the call.

"Yeah? ... Yeah, everything's all settled here. In a way I wasn't expecting either... I see. Well then I'll tell the others here, jist make sure she gets the medical attention she can. I'll see you in a bit. I'll let these kids know."

"Viola, Hayden, the others are on their way back now. The challenge is over but I'm going to need you all back here tonight. Ruby, take as much tine as you need. Amy and Sammy are coming soon and I'll need you to stay with them for a while. I know Viola is your friend but She's still a contestant, and as an intern I will need you two to stay apart for a bit."

Chris voice was soft, but stern, as though he was trying to sound sincere but also professional. The teens wordlessly left the room, with Viola and Hayden still consoling Ruby.

*confessionals*

Hayden: I suppose we can call that a success. Now I have more of a reason to make Gary pay! ... You know, it's funny, those two were the first to get their payback for what I did to them in the first season, I couldn't stand them. Here I am now working with one of them to help save the other.

Viola: I always considered Gary to essentially be more or less another Hayden. But after today, after messing with my best friend, I have to see to it that Gary gets what he deserves tenfold! As for Hayden, I really appreciate what he's done, I may not consider him a friend just yet but he's most definitely earned my respect.

Ruby: I thought he loved me, but he just saw me as a pawn in this game. I really thought we had something special! ... Tamara, is this how you felt all that time ago?

Chris: This is gonna be so good for the ratings! But, truth be told, I had no idea Gary was behind this whole mess, it's gonna make what happens later sting a bit more...

Gary: Argh! F*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck! All that time I spent planning gone to waste! ... I need to do more planning... I'm too close to the money to lose now!

*end confessionals*

Some time later, everyone was back in the plane, which was now back in the air. Ciana was getting the medical attention she needed from Chef. Chris was flying the plane, and the twins were consoling Ruby. Viola, Hayden, and Johan were discussing everything that happened to them throughout the day.

"So then you won the challenge." Hayden said.

"Yeah... I guess I did. But with everything thay happened I'd say its a pyrrhic victory." Johan responded. "So how exactly did you know that that secret room was there?"

"It's weird... I guess I just got a sign from the monsters?" Hayden said, trying to make sense of what happened. The song alarm went off again, prompting an annoyed look from Hayden.

"Oh f*ck you McLean!" Hayden cursed.

"Watch your mouth!" Viola warned.

"Alright, alright... I guess if I gotta sing then I'll try to do it in a way that'll help you understand..."

Song #45

Hayden: We passed upon the stair

We spoke of was and when

Although I wasn't there

He said I was his friend

Which came as some surprise

I spoke into his eyes, "I thought you died alone

A long, long time ago"

...

Oh no, not me

I never lost control

You're face to face

With the man who sold the world

...

I laughed and shook his hand

And made my way back home

I searched for form and land

For years and years I roamed

I gazed a gazely stare, at all the millions here

We must have died alone

A long, long time ago...

...

Who knows? Not me...

We never lost control

You're face to face

With the man who sold the world

...

Who knows? Not me...

We never lost control

You're face to face

With the man who sold the world...

As Hayden finished his song the three teens noticed a golden gleam in the window they were by.

"Hello?" A voice squeaked out, this voice was one that was familiar to them.

"Sanctus?" Hayden asked.

"Yes... I'm using most of my strength to speak to you now. Time is of the essence now. I fear that we may have less time than I had anticipated to find the crystal!"

"How much time do we have left?" Viola asked. Sanctus was silent for a moment before he gave an answer none of them expected.

"Two days... If we do not solve this issue before then, all of our lives are forfeit."

The silence was deafening, any energy the three contestants had was immediately drained.

"However." Sanctus continued. "While time is short and though my allies and I are unable to speak to you, we are watching over you and making sure you stay safe. But the amount of physical and mental strength you've shown continues to astound us. We know that you can win the day! Now my strength is on its last legs, good luck young warriors!"

As Sanctus left, the three looked at each other, trying to think of what to say about their situation. The silence around them was broken whem they noticed Ruby approaching them with a sweet, yet apologetic looking smile.

"Hey guys. I... Wanted to apologize for how I've been acting recently. I thought Gary was the guy for me and I guess I was just so happy to meet a guy that liked me, or at least one I thought liked me, that I ended up pushing away the people that actually did care about me and I just wanted to apologize."

"Apology accepted." Viola said as the two friends shared a big hug.

"I wanted to thank you too." Ruby said to Hayden. "You tried to warn me about the kind of guy Gary is and I refused to listen."

"It's fine, the truth hurts but it's better to be sad at the truth than hurt yourself living in a lie." Hayden replied.

Ruby have Hayden a peck on the cheek, prompting him to blush almost as red as Ruby's name. The teens couldn't help but laugh at Hayden's reaction. Their laughter was cut short by Johan however...

"Hey, sorry to dampen the mood but speaking of Gary, where is he?"

"Who cares? He's about to go into freefall anyway!" Hayden scoffed.

"Attention everyone, I need you in the Elimination Chamber, and that includes the interns too..."

Nine of the ten people on the plane entered the Chamber, Chris instructed the interns to sit amongst the final five contestants. Ciana had her injured arm in a sling and her ribs were bandaged. Everyone aside from the twins gave Gary a death glare, which was met with an impatient and frustrated look.

"Thank you all for coming. Now today was a very confusing and stressful day for all of us. We had a challenge on one side and a trial on another. This morning, Gary proposed the idea that a trial was the best way to settle this wine issue, and sadly I had to sign a contract to set that up. While not every aspect of the contract was able to be done thanks to Chef, it actually works out for some of you." Chris explained.

"One of the conditions of Gary's contract that had to be met is that Gary is granted immunity."

The teens protested what they felt was a valid injustice while Gary gave a smug smile.

"HOLD IT!" Chris shouted to shut everyone up. "However, for trying to outsmart me and Chef, he'll be spending the night in the cargo hold! Additionally, while this wasn't stated in the contract, for the sake of fairness, Hayden and Viola will also be granted immunity for the night."

Gary scowled as the two teens gave their enemy their own smug grins.

"Now onto the challenge. Since Johan won the challenge, he'll be the one to stay in First Class tonight. As for Ciana, since this challenge was a one-on-one and she's in no condition to keep playing without hurtong herself, I will have to remove her from the game."

"You know what?" Ciana stated. "Fine, but I gotta do one thing first."

Without a word, Ciana suddenly leaped at Gary and kicked him square in the face, it wasn't enough to knock him out, but he had a large red mark on his face in the shape of Ciana's foot. The teens all cheered for Ciana's act.

"Not bad Ciana, you may have lost the chance at the money but you've won all of our respect." Chris said.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA pay my hospital bill." Ciana replied. As she took her parachute, Ciana took her jump and left the plane.

"Now onto the reason why I called the interns here..."

Chris tossed the three girls parachutes, to which they we're bewildered and shocked.

"What?!" Amy shouted. "You're kicking us off too?!"

"Well yes and no." Chris began to explain. "The others on the aftermath show need some help setting everything up for the finale, plus it would be good for you all to put in your own two cents for the last Aftermath episode."

"You better give us a raise for this McLean!" Amy growled as she and her sister jumped. Ruby looked back at the others and waved goodbye. The final four, aside from Gary waved back and gave her a smile back before Ruby jumped.

"Well." Chris said. "That settles everything, you're all free to go."

Johan entered First Class clutching his head and rubbing his temples.

"I need a freaking drink..." He said aloud to himself, as he looked around, he found that the only thing he could drink that he liked or was able to drink was coffee.

"Better than nothing..." He sighed as he drank.

In the cockpit, Chris and Chef were ready to give the outro.

"We'll, today was certainly a long day." Chris began.

"Too long." Chef added.

"But it was definitely eventful. Ruby was proven innocent and a long standing mystery has finally been solved. We've also said our farewells to what could very well be Total Drama's toughest competitor in terms of strength and spirit! We're down to the final four contestants: Viola, Hayden, Gary, and Johan. Where will our next destination be? Is Gary's time running out? What other secrets has the network been keeping from is? Find out on the next exciting episode of Total Drama World Tour!"

*confessionals*

Johan: I don't think words can describe how I feel to be in the final four. I outlasted twenty-three other people to get here and even though I doubted if I could get here or if I deserve to be here, I think that if I can at least stop Gary, I wouldn't mind whatever happens after. But if I end up winning, I promise to give my girlfriend half of the money. I haven't forgotten about you Nikki! I miss you, babe!

Viola: I'm glad I was able to get my friend out of that situation, but there are still so many loose ends I need to tie up. Gary needs to go, I need to solve this crystal problem, and lastly, I'm going to win the million!

Gary: Hmph, despite everything I still got away in the end. But now I have to deal with Viola who is more focused on beating me than ever. This could be a problem...

Hayden: It's good to see Hayden squirm! I just hope I can beat him before these last two days are up...

*end confessionals*
